Cannes is so great and being in the center I didn’t have to use any public transportation because it’s so close to the train station. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely hotel in a great location
The hotel was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent well positioned between the station (your likely method of arrival) and the sea front and everything is within easy walking distance. The only thing was that the room we selected was a little on the small side and the bathroom configuration tight, especially with the door. Overall though we would certainly stay again but would try to book a superior rather than a classic room.

An amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we walked in staff greeted us warmly and were super friendly/helpful. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay but have mixed feelings because even with 48hrs notice that I had to leave for medical reasons they would not refund my last night.

An amazing boutique hotel just off the Main Street. 2 mins from train station and the Festival steps. Rooms are relatively small but the best use of space has been made as there is nothin lacking. It felt luxurious and the cleaner did an amazing job tidying up. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but the breakfast area looked very welcoming. A fantastic hotel for the price.

So close to everything, great staff and accommodating. Disappointed no coffee service in the room and had to pay for it, but other than that - nothing bad to say. Great eating all around the hotel - and only two short blocks from the main attractions, beaches, and shopping! Couldn't ask for anything better - especially for the price. Room walls were super thin without much privacy, but didn't appear to be too much of a concern.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a little noisy during the day but that is because the location is very central and it is steps away from the Cannes film festival also to all the nice beaches, hotels, and restaurants. The rooms are small but the beds are very comfortable.

Slightly unusual Breakfast room with a reasonable offering but didn't see the sign informing us of the cooked eggs option until leaving. Perhaps the staff could inform guests of this option.

Hotel America was an easy 7 minute walk down Rue de Serbes and a right onto Rue de Notre Dame. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, offering helpful answers to questions like where to catch an airport bus. Room service was quick, with our order up in less than 10 minutes. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. However, it is small and suitable only for two people. The tub is kinda high to get into, which may make it difficult for people with mobility issues to get in and out. Wifi is included. Breakfast cost about 15 euros, but I prefer to eat locally when on a leisure trip so I didn't have the breakfast. Aircon is off during colder temperatures, which also happened to us in other hotels. Only the heater is available. This is important if you are not used to being in cold weather like me.

Nice hotel 5 minute walk from the beach
We spent one night at this hotel over a weekend. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early so that we had time to get changed to attend a wedding. We had booked 2 rooms - internet access didn't work with one of the codes we were given and we weren't sure why. Breakfast was rather ordinary and there weren't many seats - not a problem on the day that we were there but one could imagine problems if the hotel was busy. The rooms themselves were fine.

Ideally situated near the beach, shops and restaurants. For such a central location the hotel was very quiet.
We got to the 210 express bus from the airport and although this wasn't cheap (30 euros) it only took 45 minutes whereas the normal bus would have taken about 2 hours. It stopped a 10 minute walk from the hotel but on the way back the bus stop was a minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was perfectly adequate, although there were no tea or coffee making facilities. This didn't matter to us.
We didn't have breakfast here so cannot comment on this.
We did the boat trip to one of the islands close to Cannes, Ile St Honorat at a cost of 15.50 euros. Lovely island with a monastry, vine yards and wonderful views. Boats leave regularly and you can stay as long as you wish.
We also did the boat trip to Monaco which is more costly at 52 euros but it was lovely to arrive via boat and get the magnificent views of the coastline and entry to the marina. If you like fast cars and people watching then Monaco is worth a visit. If you also like some history and old buildings then you can find this here too!

Great Spot To See Cannes From
Terrific place to stay. The staff was wonderful, from Marcel the witty night manager to the morning breakfast staff who went out of their way to get my wife an iron, everyone treated us like the most important guests they had. Location is perfect for seeing all of Cannes. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We'll be back.
