Sarah the receptionist was smiling, patient, and so helpful. Next day (May 29) there was another lady who was rude, she should be replaced.

Property is exceptional, location is superb, just a short walk to Antibes Rd and the beach. Every detail had been thought of, the accommodation did not lack anything! The bathroom was well equipped and even had a cooler/heater. Very clean. Definitely recommend!

I like the location & the staff - but in the 4 days, I had to ask for towels & I ran out of toilet paper when the desk was shut so I ended up taking some from the public bathroom. Sorry I was desperate. The room wasn’t that clean when I arrived, it wasn’t filthy but it didn’t feel like the last time I stayed. In 4 days there was no housekeeping (maybe that’s the case, maybe last time I stayed longer so it occurred) but some fresh towels & definitely toilet roll was needed.

very good hotel, we were very pleased! The embankment is within walking distance, grocery stores are nearby, and the hotel has convenient underground parking. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom and toilet are separate, which is always good. The bed is comfortable and there is a folding sofa.

Disappointing to say the least..

The photos of this hotel are a misrepresentation of reality. We came 40 minutes before check in at 3pm and the room was still not ready. Not to mention, when the receptionist gave us to key to go upstairs to our room, they were still cleaning and we heard the hotel manager telling the cleaning person “c’est dégustasse » multiple times which means it’s disgusting. Indeed once we entered the room, it was outdated and there were stains all OVER - even the curtains. I could not sleep thinking what kind of bodily stains there were on the bed. The mattress was not even protected correctly. This is just a BIG red flag. Avoid.

Wonderful place to stay in Cannes

We stayed here two nights and have no complaints. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. We had a larger studio with sofa. The kitchenette was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, tableware, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, etc. Everything was clean and in good condition.
There is a large grocery1/2 block away. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station.
Everyone on staff was pleasant and helpful. Great staff. We did not have breakfast because we had to leave very early each morning. They have a pleasant area in the lobby for breakfast and there is seating outdoors in a courtyard for warmer weather. Overall a good choice in Cannes.

Was always curious about this hotel brand. Not impressed: too many small, disconnected rooms. cold, sterile decor. Not inviting at all.
Good for family, not for solo traveler.
Location also offered little or no restaurant options.
On positive note, apartment was clean, but bed was too small (child size twin bed). Curiosity satisfied—not for me.

The hotel itself is conveniently located, an easy walk to the promenade, the room was clean, comfortable and in good condition. Room is like a small studio with separate areas (living, bedroom, bath and kitchen) and kitchen is equipped for cooking.Good value for the area and perfect for an extended stay.
Check in was not smooth. We were told we didn't have a reservation, and that the hotel was completely booked. When we showed our booking confirmation, we had to wait a long time before we were given a room. Strange,how a room magically appeared! Staff was rushed and not particularly helpful when we inquired about parking.

Facilities staff location perfect. Balvony was a welcome suprise thank you. The bed was so comfortable and air con great. Free tea coffee and water excellent. Extra towels and beech towels at reception. Bathroom and shower excellent toiletries and good hairdryer. Fab bakery lidl and supermarket close by. Security on at night. Lovely reception area.
Sad no roof garden closed for refurb. Only point would be more clothes space. We were there for week and struggled. More hooks everywhere especially bathroom and kitchen.
Loved every minute of our stay thank you Sarah for being so friendly and helpful.

Centrally located, few minutes from the beach. We went for a chill weekend so it was really ideal for us. I hoped that the terrace was available for use but it was closed for refurbishments which was unfortunate. Really easy to get to from Nice airport so don't bother wasting money on taxi as it can get to over £80. We used an Uber to make our way from terminal 2 on arrival and that was around £52. However on our way back we took a train from Canne de Gare (about 5 mins walk from apartment) which was around 12 euros for 2 people single to St Augustin. It's a 5 minute walk from St Augustin to terminal 1, lots of signs and you can get a shuttle bus to terminal 2 from there. We arrived earlier than check in time and could leave our luggage at the apartments so we were able to roam around which was a relief. Only downside was our floor was a little dusty but room and bathroom thoroughly clean otherwise. Bathroom very spacious.

My dog and I stayed at the Citadines for a week during a heat wave in July so I could work on my dissertation in aircon. We had a studio which had a main room with a large bed (that can be split), a bench at the end of the bed, a large desk with chair plus an extra chair. There was also a kitchenette, washroom with shower/bath combo, and separate toilet. The main room and the others were separated by a door that could be left open or closed. This was a great feature, especially with a dog to block out any extra noise (or smells from the kitchen). Everything was in working order and clean. AC was great! The design was simple but relaxing, I loved the blue accents.
The hotel is located just north of the busy area of Cannes, but a short 5-10 min walk away. This allowed for a peaceful stay. There are two regular groceries and 2 bio groceries within 3 min walk of the place as well as some small restaurants with nice service and food.
This is a hotel where they leave you mostly to yourself besides greeting and looking out for safety. The staff is helpful and advice and is friendly. The one issue that came up is that they don’t tell you what day or time your weekly cleaning is. This ended up a bit awkward as the housekeeper came when I was in the middle of a project in my pajamas haha. She gave me max 2 mins to pull things together, I’d appreciate even just a note in the morning that it was cleaning day. They do have a nice lounge with AC and outdoor patio to relax or work at.

Very impressed by the Citadines Croisette in Cannes. It was a great value for the money and fulfilled all of our needs for a short stay.
Our room was the basic and still offered a surprising amount of room. Enough to spread out a bit and two people can actually sit in chairs at the same time! We have stayed at many hotels where floor space is at a premium, but this was not one of them. The kitchenette was great, well equipped, clean, with everything working as it should. Overall a GREAT ROOM !!!.
Location of the hotel is very convenient with only a short 2 block walk to the train station, ATM right outside the door and no steps from the sidewalk into the reception area. Coffee and croissants in the lobby with a nice outside court were pluses.
The only slightly negative comment would be our room showing its age. A coat of paint and a new floor covering would have elevated the review to absolutely 5 star.

Great central hotel exceeded expectations!

The hotel was terrific. We were very impressed with its location, facilities and staff. Our apartment had all nessessary facilities for a self catering holiday as well as solid air conditioning and a great balcony - which was relatively private and cosy after a busy day out. We would eat breakfast out there most mornings and enjoyed wine and meals on more than one occasion in the evenings. It was close to a couple of supermarkets too, which had all the basics needed for some meals in. The beach was a 15minute walk away and surrounding area bustling but felt safe. Close to the rail station too, for great access to Nice, Monte Carlo among other trips. The apartment was quiet, though toward the end of our week a neighbouring apartment received some noisier residents. This is a small complaint for what was a great week. English tv channels were limited- so were able to access French Netflix via the wifi which was interesting!) Should we return to Cannes we would definately stay here again.

5 minutes walking to train station and 10 to the best in Cannes. We traveled with 2 children. It's perfect to stay 2-4 nights and to eat outside. There is a little supermarket on the corner and plenty to choose to eat. The receptionist was lovely. Be aware the reception has it's schedulle, is not always open.

My husband and I absolutely loved the hotel. Nice,well located not too much in the middle of the town centre but still super close if you don't like too much noise it's perfect and discrete. Quiet with black out curtains , lovely receptionist,even the receptionist in training was adorable. the studio hotel was perfect for holiday, you can do your own shopping and cooking absolutely everything is provided in that studio . From the pots ,to the coffee maker,the iron border ,the blow dryer and a safe . What else can you ask ? I definitely will be back with my hubby.

Excellent hotel in great location

Stayed for 5 nights in a beautiful well equipped appartment. Hotel was clean, modern with great amenities and a fabulous sun terrace on the roof. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Well situated with supermarkets, bus stops, train station, town centre and beach all close by. Plenty of reasonably priced places to eat in the vicinity, well worth the money in all.

Great Value for Central Cannes Location

We stayed on night during the Cannes Lions festival which no doubt is one of the most in demands weeks to stay in Cannes. Hotel was a five minute walk to the festival and ten minute walk to the beaches, which are just past the festival venue. This hotel has small apartments which include a kitchenette, a large bedroom/living area by many standards though not huge, bigger than many hotels and plenty big for a couple to share. Private bathroom and separate room with tub and sink which in our room were in opposite locations. A/C worked well. Free continental breakfast was okay, nice to get coffee, juice and fruit without going out, but you can also grab food at the local markets in keep it in kitchen in your room. Our room had two windows which opened but were high up so not really easy to look out and see anything so it's very enclosed. We paid 16 Euro or so for overnight self parking in the very tight garage underneath the hotel. If you are not comfortable driving your car up and down a steep curved ramp and into narrow spaces, then don't try this. Also, they forgot to tell us that there is a key code to get out so we thought it opened automatically and we were stuck dangerously on a very steep angle with a standard vehicle and it was very hard (and dangerous) for one of us to get out of the car on the ramp and run to the office for help.

Well we defently go back there, altough it's only a three star you receive the service of 4*. People are extremly friendly not like in the other parts of France. What we liked about it was the little kitchenette, we do like to go for breakfast in the morning but if you stay a week it's nice to prepare sometimes your own breakfast to.

The hotel is located close to the train station in Cannes, about a 5min walk.. The rooms have a stove & dishwasher so if you want to save a couple bucks, you can whip up a home cooked meal.. negatives- rooms are not cleaned everyday, beds were hard & the staff leaves from 12 til 2pm and are gone after 8pm.. so if you get there around those hrs. don't expect to check in..

Really helpful staff, good location a short walk from train station. These are more like serviced apartments, housekeeping is only once a week (though there are plenty of towels etc) and reception is only open certain hours and you use the key card to get in and out. We did not find this a problem at all. The shower is probably one of the best I have had in a hotel.

We used the beach club the hotel offer a discount with and they were very good.

There is a great bakery just down from the hotel that is great for getting pastries to take back to your room for breakfast.

We would stay here again if we went to Cannes.

A really practical convenient place to stay

This is a convenient place to stay, ten minutes walk from the Croisette and right opposite the bus stop for Nice airport. The rooms have everything you need (except air conditioning) including a very functional kitchenette, which if you are travelling alone (as I was) or in Cannes for a while is really useful. The staff were really friendly and accomodating and you felt they would do whatever they could to help. The Citadine made staying in a very expensive town accesible and enjoyable!

I had a great experience at this hotel. Location was really good, grocery store very close by, and near to the train station. Center of town and beaches were a short walk away. The studio double we stayed in was great. Large bathroom and the kitchenette was wonderful to have. My only gripe was the bed. It was a foldout and VERY uncomfortable. The mattress was really thin and neither of us slept very well. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

I saw that the blanket on the bed were not that clean and in fact there are not changed after every client! But only after every second client! we were cold since there were 100%synthetic. We stayed for 5 days and no clean towels neither! You might get them after one week? The description of the size of the bed were not accurate . and the pullout impossible to open! But otherwise an ok place. Well organised with kes and codes since we arrived late, despite the fact that we took a taxi from the train station and that the driver seemed very insulted to have to drive us for such a short distance!

Hotellet var var bra belagt och personalen var supertrevlig samt hjälpsam med det man behövde. Dock önskar jag personligen att städningen hade varit mer ordentlig, det var dammigt på många platser.

Den lilla lägenhet jag hyrde kändes snabbt som mitt eget hem. I receptionen satt mycket trevliga personer som kändes välkomnande.
Läget när centralstationen och alla bussarna var perfekt.
Städning skedde före min ankomst och efter att jag lämnat. Jag skulle gärna komma tillbaka någon gång.

It was a pleasure to stay here! The receptionist was very kind and helpful! Close to everything important (though you have to cross a quite busy intersection to get places). I also learned to keep the water in the kitchen sink running a bit daily since otherwise there would be a weird smell. Last side note: the sound proofing isn‘t the best and you can hear others flush their toilet. Overall I felt very welcomed and as a female solo-traveler safe.
