I recently stayed at Woodstock Way Hotel and had a lovely experience. The property feels calm, charming, and thoughtfully designed — a perfect place to unwind in Woodstock.

Room: We stayed in a King Premium Suite with a balcony. The room was spacious and modern, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the heated bathroom floors were the highlight of the stay. The minibar with complimentary snacks and drinks was also a nice touch.

Location: The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of great spots like Shelter Woodstock, Allison Restaurant, and Yum Yum Noodle Bar.

Service: Check-in was seamless and the staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming. Parking was also very easy and convenient.

Overall, a wonderful stay — peaceful, comfortable, and perfectly located. I look forward to returning.

Did not use the Spa. But, eventhough the hotel seemed remote it was centrally located. A lot of shops and bars and restaurants were in walking distance. Overall, I loved my time spent here and would highly recommend for a quick getaway/recharge from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Rooms were very clean. After hour support was great when we had an issue with the heat not working in our original premium room (big issue when it’s 20 degrees out). Thankfully they were practically empty and were able to switch to a comparable room in the next building. Addie was by far our favorite staff member who was full of life and cheer. Espresso on tap was a plus just wish it was in the room itself. WiFi was TERRIBLE. If you expect to get any work done while away which is very important or would like to stream a show in the cabins, think again lol. The beds & couches were super comfy. The worst part of the room besides the WiFi was the TV. It was beyond mediocre for the sheer size of the room. You could not comfortably see it from the bed or the couch. Also because of the terrible WiFi the tv would constantly cut out. Other wise the local area restaurants are great. Other than that there is not much to do if you do not ski. 2 nights is more than enough. Maybe the summer is better

The so-called “River View” overlooks a very small river, likely no more than about 10 feet wide, with houses and cars visible on the opposite side. Charging extra for this view doesn’t feel justified. That said, it’s a solid option if you’re looking to avoid budget hotels and prefer more comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Overall, it has potential, but for the price being charged, the experience could be significantly better.

The balcony was small, but the scenery was beautiful and soo serene. A deer walked right by our cabin about 30 ft away and kinda hung out with us for a while. An awesome place for a quick getaway from the city.

We were greeted so graciously by Alexa , wonderful stay ! Room was very clean , complimentary coffee bar serving all day and added to that complimentary snacks and s’more kits for the out door fire pit area!
All overlooking a magnificent water fall , so all we had to do was sit out on balcony and enjoy the sounds and sites ! We will return !!!

There was a small, brown stain on the white sheets on the bed. The bathroom hook was broken as was the bottom of the mirror. We were on the ground floor and you can also hear EVERYTHING from the room above and next door. It was hard to sleep because of the noise. I will say that the decor of the room was super cute, the location was great and I would go back.

No toilet paper when we arrived. No ice basket, many items in the kitchen were missing such as glasses, plates. The room was not ready for any guests. We asked front desk to bring missing items but she refused since she was the only one working at the hotel and she couldn’t leave there. When I went downstairs to get our toilet paper, I saw two people there.
We stated this property many times in the past, it’s always pleasant that’s why we came back although this is the most expensive hotel in this area. Very disappointed, won’t come back again.

Great property, great location and great landscape but my room was over charged as it looked like a « small motel room ».
When going to my room, I had to go through a balcony offering full view… on the room next door. I saw my neighbor, naked going out his shower. He was surprised as much as I was.
I heard him having calls, as the wall separating the 2 rooms is super thin.
Last but not least, the snobbery and arrogance of the two ladies at the front desk (check in and check out) is totally unnecessary considering the category of the hotel and the level of service (no breakfast).

Beautiful well-appointed room with big windows that made you feel like you were surrounded by nature. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. The balcony offered a view towards the small waterfall with comfortable seating for two.
The staff in the reception area were warm and welcoming. The free coffee, espresso drinks, tea and snacks were an added bonus.
You are steps away from Tinker Street with multiple dining options in walking distance. I highly recommend Silvia, Good Night and Garden Eats(vegan).
I would have loved a way to make tea or coffee without leaving my room, but the coffee in the lobby was superb.

This is a beautiful high-end property in the heart of Woodstock. We usually book an Airbnb when traveling upstate, but we opted for convenience this time around. This is truly a hidden gem. It is right off the main street but secluded enough to feel like you’re deep in the woods. The staff was welcoming and accommodating and the property was maintained. Kid and pet friendly are a plus too! Only thing, we didn’t know we had to request for someone to set up the pull out bed, so when we went to do it there were left over crumbs and wrappers. The mattress itself looked clean, but it just turned me off. 4 of us slept in one bed. Despite that, I would definitely stay there again!

We booked this as a last minute night out. We live a few towns over and it was our anniversary. We wanted to go out for a nice dinner and not worry about getting home. When I checked in, I informed the property of our anniversary. When we arrived at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they upgraded our room to the best in the house. And it actually was a full house. It was absolutely stunning! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Thanks again to the staff that made this happen for us. We can't wait to go back. We plan to make this our new go to for all future close getaways.

This hotel was an amazing stay for us with our young baby. The location is right in the middle of Woodstock's main Street right walking distance from everywhere, all the best restaurants etc. However it seems like a nice natural setting with a waterfall and nice seating next to it. The best perk was the unlimited free caffeine from the lobby receptionists who double as baristas! Wonderful service and stay all around.

Really cute tucked away area and also incredibly close to the town of Woodstock with all of its shops and restaurants so you don't need to drive once you're here. I loved the simple design of the rooms as well as their pet friendly options and small coffee shop that has a full coffee bar and snacks for guests. Staff working there were also incredibly sweet. I would suggest a few updates: -shower pressure was not great (it may have just been my room!) and having blankets for use on the couch would have been great (couches were not the most comfortable but fine for a night away). Walls are also quite thin so you can hear noise outside and on the 2nd floor when you’re on the ground floor. Overall I'd expect a few additional updates and amenities for the price point but a really nice stay nonetheless. Would definitely come back, especially in the Spring or Fall!

Do not stay here. Our room was dirty and had wires hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. They gave us an ADA room that was pet friendly. We are NOT handicapped and do NOT have a pet. There were other rooms available, but punished us for booking on Expedia with a crappy, dirty room. And when we complained we were told the manger would contact us. NEVER DID so I guess they do NOT care. And the shower in our bathroom flooded because the drain was clogged. They fixed it but left our two and only bath towels dripping wet, from cleaning up the floor, and never brought new towels. Horrible experience.

This hotel and its surroundings beautiful, but I don’t think it is worth what it charges. We got one of the rooms with a fireplace, but at ~$800 per night I don’t think I could ever justify the cost again. Our room had such bad WiFi that we couldn’t work from it (we purposefully drove up on Thursday to work from the hotel on Friday) so we had to work from a cafe in town. We couldn’t stream anything either. The room also didn’t have simple things, like a kettle. Finally, the hotel also has no amenities (the one thing it has is a fire pit but there was a state-wide burn ban when we stayed so we couldn’t use them) and essentially no front desk.

The room and site are wonderful. The view through our huge windows overlooking the nearby stream and forest was so refreshing and delightful to wake up to, although raising the shades of so many large windows by hand was cumbersome. Electric shades would have been preferred. The room was decorated beautifully, tasteful and coordinated well with the sense of nature and with comfortable furniture and bed. My wife particularly enjoyed the record player and vinyl collection with more options available at the office. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but... 2 omissions which need upgrading. There was no coffee maker in the room. One had to go to the office to get coffee. So, each morning, instead of sitting in the room, in my pajamas, reading or writing and drinking my morning coffee, I had to get dressed, walk outside, up the trail to the office, to get my morning coffee. And if I felt like a second cup, go outside and return to the office. Fortunately, the weather during our stay was beautiful. 2nd, at the price they charge, the room should be furnished with a bathrobe and slippers. Other than those 2 issues we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return, but with my own robe and slippers and a personal coffee maker.

This place was so special and we were warmly welcomed by Jamie, who took care to review the hotel amenities and services with us when we arrived. Beautiful setting, our main floor king room had a gorgeous balcony overlooking a pastoral brook complete with a family of deer having an evening sip. We loved the added touch of records and a record player in the room - was nice to have when we got ready to go out for the evening. The bed was super comfortable and we slept great. Complimentary coffee first thing in the morning was cherry on the cake. This place is wonderful and lives up to the positive reviews - book it now, you will not be disappointed.
