Behulpzaam personeel. Kamers met een thema. Wel wat verouderd en er hingen vreemde luchtjes in de kamers en op de gangen. De lattenbodem van het bed was stuk. Gelukkig hadden we nog een extra bed.

Wel complimenten voor het personeel dat wij een andere kamer vroegen. Ontbijt was ook goed geregeld.

i wanted to like this hotel but ...

we got assigned the wrong room for our booking, then ended up taking 40 minutes to get to our actual room.
Loved the concept of the themes but was a bit tired.
Sadly our car got broken into overnight and we had items stolen. So had to get Police involved.

Staff friendly and helpful to us who didn't speak the local language.

Hotel was great. I stayed in the Asian inspired room. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast didn’t start until 7am - I had an early flight so I missed it. Fairly remote so plan to bring food or limited dining available on site. Worked great for my flight out of FMO.

We booked the hotel 30 min before arrival - and did not know the hotel beforehand.
Very positive surprised by the theme rooms, surroundings etc. It was a very positive stay - and we will definately come again...
If I should come with an improvement - it would be a better selection for kids for breakfast beside of egg and bread.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, waren 2 Nächte im Beverland, gute Betten, sehr netter Service, tolles Frühstücksbuffet, super Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis!! Achtung, Bahnhof 4 min entfernt, nach MS fährt man 15 min.

Wir waren zu 5 unterwegs, Kinder 11-15-17 waren sehr zufrieden, wir auch!!

Beautiful pool. Service and infra need to improve.

Overall the pool was beautiful. The property needs renovation. Some of the comments that I previously read continues to be true - little water in the evening , breakfast is not filled (even at 9:30 when it should last till 11), the floor was dusty when we arrived.

Location is very good with train station 100 meter away , super markets and restaurants are easily accessible. Staff at front desk very friendly. Breakfast in general need to be managed well (seen several comments in other portals about it)

Overall management need to take action than just speak with the same feedback/lip service.

With little attention to service and infrastructure this property can be a very beautiful property.

We scored that Casino Room. There were 6 of us and 8 beds layed out like a bunk room, it was hilarious. Big illuminated Casino sign on the wall, we all got a laugh. Have stayed here before and do like it, a bit quirky.

Very average hotel. I wouldn't stay again.

I expected a lot more here. No fridge, no safe, no air con. Only a screen on one window so couldn't open the other and when kids are outside playing they can see straight in your room if you are on the ground floor. No curtains so to close up at night you have to close the wooden shutters which made it so hot. The floor was not very clean and when I tried to put my bags in the corner found cob webs in most. The pool is big but freezing and has a weird slope to it so for kids that can't swim, there is no safe child area. My daughter hated the pool as she kept sliding down and needed one of us to hold her up so we were only in a very short time and since we came for the pool, felt a complete waste. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so you basically have to eat there but it was 25 euros for a steak that was overcooked and only came with a tiny salad and a few chips. I ordered the only vegetarian dinner and the pasta was so under done but since it was the only veg option, didn't bother to send it back.

All of the above didn't annoy me as much as check in though. My child has autism and whilst I appreciate the rule about masks, every other hotel we were in said it wasn't an issue in the communal areas. Instead here the receptionist insisted my daughter had to wear it and then told us she had to call the police to check there is an exception for autism. My daughter went outside and then kept continually asking if she was going to be arrested.

Hotel has themed rooms and nice looking pool

This was a one-night business trip so difficult to find fault in such a short time.
Very friendly and accommodating staff with an excellent restaurant on-site.
There is a railway line nearby but the last train I heard was around 10:45pm with the next one I heard around 8:00am so not too much of an issue for me.

Unique place to stay

Good location near the motorway but in the countryside. Stable themed room with a horse!

Lovely pool for morning swim and great shower and breakfast.

Sadly we arrived late at midnight just in time for reception but too late to enjoy the facilities.

Stayed in the Camping themed room, which consisted of a double bed in a caravan downstairs and a double and a single bed in a tent upstairs. There was also another single bed in the room downstairs. There were no curtains on the windows in the downstairs room which could mean the room would be too light in the mornings during summer. Breakfast was good, had a fantastic omelette plus the usual breakfast buffet items.

A hidden gem

We booked last minute in our way home it was well priced a bit off the beaten track but a nice surprise. It's a themed hotel, rooms are individual, we had the shark room. It's near a train stop, lovely big breakfast area barn style but with a modern twist. Breakfast was fresh and I believe a lot of local produce which was nice. Highly recommend this hotel.

A little gem out in the country

Very nice!
Friendly staff. Calm and tranquill Location out in the countryside.
They had some rooms with special theamed decorations, we were lucky and got the Harley decor room :-)
It has a fantastic pool area, very cozy at night.
The old converted remodeled railroad building was also a fantastic dining hall :-)

Superb, out-of-the-way resort

This is an amazing hotel if you want a place a little out in the country, with exceptional amenities and superb service. It is not for the traveler who is looking for exciting city night life. We enjoyed the quiet country atmosphere, there are bikes to use, hiking and walking in the woods, a lovely pool and each room is \"themed\" which makes it fun. We would highly recommend it if it meets your criteria for a great place!

This hotel has so many amazing aspects to it- not to be missed are the various themed rooms. A unique idea! The location was half way to our destination in Paris. My review may be on the low side due to the time of year and weather (July and HOT). We stayed in the Pop Art room, which is on the third floor, had no air-conditioning, so we opened the window, that opened onto the roof of the kitchen, so hot ventilation and fans running until pretty late, the view therefore was also not idyllic, and the window also faced the train tracks, which ran every 15 minutes. Luckily, there was a large pool! The restaurant had some of the best scrambled eggs, and the lobby bathrooms are not to be missed The beds had rubber fitted sheets over the mattresses, which we removed. The bathroom had an uber-sci-fi shower head, with two different heads and six spritzer things. If they had scaled down on the shower (and believe me, it takes a little time to figure out all the knobs and how to work it, with a great payoff!), and taken a little of the money and invested in some real art work (the room was interesting, but design was scant), the room could achieve the \"Wow!\" factor. All in all, the low review here, as I mentioned, may have been due to the heat (not the hotel's fault) I might go there again if I were in the area, but will probably re-route and stop in another area on the way home.

Great hotel, great service

We got a really good deal at this very interesting 4 star hotel. We were offered a complimentary drink when we arrived and the staff went out of their way to accommodate all our requests. It's a \"Theme\" hotel, meaning that all the rooms had a theme. Some had boats that you slept in, others a giant barrel that you climbed into sleep. Ours was one of the less expensive room so the theme was less elaborate (made up a of a giant plastic moose head right over the bed and some art=deco flower lamps. Strange and quirky but fun). We totally enjoyed our stay and the breakfast buffet for 10 euros was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The only drawback was the location (about 30kms north of Muenster, Germany in the middle of the countryside). If you want peace and quiet and are not worried about getting into town too much, go for it. You won't regret it.

German Countryside for a great price!

If you love staying in the German countryside you will love this hotel. The grounds are around a stone farmhouse with fun artistry. The restaurant is excellent high cuisine. Rooms are spacious, clean with modern bathroom. If the weather was warmer i'd be hanging by the small lakeside beach in the back. Enjoy!

Looking for a active time with your kids? this hotel was perfect for us, we were traveling with our 2 boys and we have had a perfect \"pirate decorated room\" and enjoy the walks around and the local pool they recommend. In all, a nice place for family and relax.

Great hotel

We stayed there for one night on our way home so we didn´t have the chance to explore the surroundings. It must be the cutest hotel room I have ever stayed in, the hotel has different themes for the rooms, we got the Lilly Fairy room and our son loved it because the design was so kids friendly. I loved the style of the breakfast room and even of the rest rooms, my kind of design. Breakfast was great and very friendly and service minded stuff. We wouldn’t go there for vacation because where it is placed but we would definitely choose it for an overnight stay again.

Party Room Disappointment

I was put in a \"disco\" room with a rotating disco ball and lights that changed colors when you clapped. However, there wasn't really any normal lighting in the room. Also, no wireless in the room. The front desk gave me a cable to wire in for internet access but it didn't work. I chose this hotel because I thought it was close to the Osnabruck/Muenster airport, but it was still a really pricey cab ride.

This is a pleasant hotel located in the countryside beside a rural railway station with fields and ponds in the area. Huge dining hall serving very good food. Breakfast choice is big too. We stayed in the wine room with a huge wine barrel for a table and a magnum bottle of R Lafitte beside a bowl of grapes. Nice touch.

We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel based on the post/zip code but it was worth finding. It seems fairly new based on a conversion from old railway buildings. It is next to a main railway but the rooms are at the back so not noisy. Staff were very helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Suitable for families (big rooms with motives)

Obviously a hotel for groups, hence during our stay (end of June 2012) very quiet. Restaurant service was poor and with untrained and unpolite personel with no eye for the situation (it was late evening, only some quests, yet it took 1,5hrs to get the food). However, the hotel staff fixed the problems afterwards very well, so at the end we were very satisfied with the total experience. For sure we will pay here a visit next time we are in Munster.

Great customer service everyone was helpful and most had good english speaking skills, Breakfast was good and worth the price. We forgot to put the sign on the door for do not disturb so we could sleep late in the morning and the maid was a little quick to enter after knocking but not a big issue.

The hotel was hard to find but worth it.
Great decor and friendly staff. We had a large family room where, for once, no one had to sleep on a sofa bed. Decorated with a pirate theme. Small bathroom - shower no bath - but modern and practical.
The hotel restaurant was a surprise, formal and expensive. Food and service were good but not really what we needed as a family with two young kids needing to let off steam after hours in the car.

A great getaway

Derzeit ist die Sauna abgebrannt, also nicht zur Verfügung, ansonsten kostet die pauschal 10 Euro, Bademantel 5 Euro. Frühstück war günstig mit 11 Euro. Der Pool ist draussen und unbeheizt. Hotel ist innen sehr schön, in meinem Zimmer hörte man allerdings den Zug wenn er vorbei führt, auch ein vibrieren war dann zu spüren. Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend

Undvik detta skitställe!

När vi kom meddelades vi att bara en av restaurangerna var öppen. Helt obegripligt när det nästan var fullbelagt. Det som fanns var en buffé för 26 euro för alla över 11 år, inget på den menyn som mina barn ville äta. Vi fick bilen in till byn.
Själva rummet var slitet, och fruktansvärt varmt! Ingen ac, bara fönster med myggnät.
Tror det var två konferenser denna kväll så mycket ljud fram tills midnatt.
Det enda positiva var poolen, dock lite kall. Men kändes fräscht. Men poolbaren var inte öppen heller.

Forferdelige senger. Har vondt i kroppen flere dager etterpå. Og barnetema rommet ga mer minner fra skrekkfilmer jeg har sett enn det var koselig for barna! Hotellet virker ikke særlig vedlikeholdt på lenge, og det var mye edderkopper rundt om i taket, både døde og levende! Går ikke an!

voor ons helaas de eerste en de laatste keer hier.

bij aankomst een kamer gekregen waar 3 van de 5 bedden kapot waren.
heel vies en muf ruikend.
na melding hiervan een andere kamer welke ook niet bepaald schoon was maar de bedden waren heel.
schimmel in de badkamer en s'nachts erg benauwd op de kamer. verwarming op 16 gr gezet en een raam open maar binnen heel warm en klef.
s'avonds een drankje besteld en vervolgens 30 minuten wachten voor het gebracht werd.

man bij de receptie doet zijn uiterste best maar kon hier helaas niet genoeg op inspelen.

Heerlijk hotel in fijne omgeving, mooie en ruime kamer, heerlijk zwembad. Lekker eten, Vriendelijk personeel. Top verblijf gehad. Helaas waren we op doorreis want had hier nog wel veel langer willen verblijven.

Vi overnattede i et familie værelse med udsigt over pool området super smukt.
Dejlige senge og super fed detalje at værelserne har tema. Vi sov fx. I Afrika.
Morgenmaden var helt fantastisk der var kaffe klar på bordet og buffeten havde noget for en vær smag

- Genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze
- Frühstück war gut,
- Hinweis auf die Zimmerreinigung nur auf Wunsch wurde nicht gegeben.
- Abfluss am Handwaschbecken verstopft. (Hätte bei der Zimmerreinigung auch dem Personal auffallen müssen)
- Einrichtung des Zimmers (Raum Kuba) gut gestylt, aber hat auch ihre Tücken (Kopfteil am Bett lädt ein, sich Den Kopf anzustoßen)
- Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Bahnlinie
- Gute Möglichkeit eigene Fahrräder sicher abzustellen.

Værelserne er en oplevelse i sig selv. Vi er en familie på fem der fik et campinginspireret værelse i 2 etager. Campingvogn nederst og fortelt øverst.
Skørt med deres temaværelser, men lad jer ikke snyde af det. Det er et fedt sted.
Vi skulle mellemlande på vej til sydfrankrig.
Længere nede i Frankrig er de små hoteller kedelige og dyre.
Her får i en oplevelse, restauranten er en fornøjelse med meget flotte omgivelser, og lækker mad.
Meget lækkert poolområde.
Burde have været der en hel dag.
Kort sagt gør det, det er en oplevelse.

Party hotel

We are a family of three who had been driving all day and needed to relax and go to bed early as we had to get up early. Unfortunately (for us), there was a party with loud music until 10 pm. Fortunately, the music stopped there. Many stayed and talked. We had to have the window open as there was no air conditioning. I wish it had said that it was a festive hotel because then we would have chosen another as we wanted to sleep early. But it is otherwise a nice hotel. Great pool and sauna. Super fun rooms. Sweet staff. Nice garden with outdoor dining.

Værelse med Stald tema?
Mangelfuld rengøring på badeværelse.
Højlydt fest udendørs så man ikke kunne sove. Resturant valgte at om arrangere borde og stole efter kl 23 som larmede helt vildt - når man har værelse lige oven over.
Tog som passere tæt på - meget hørbart når hvis man har vindue åbent - ingen aircondition, så vi havde vindue åbent.
Resturant var ret skuffende - dårligt udvalg og halv tilberedte retter.
Morgenbuffet OK.

Endroit très sympa, chambre spacieuse, personnel accueillant et sympathique. Piscine agréable après un bon dîner copieux, tout comme le petit déjeuner.

Dejlig overnatning - høj service

Dejligt hotel på vores on the go rejse- vi fik ridderværelset med 5 sovepladser - og alt ok. God madrasser - godt badeværelse - håndklæder til alle. Vi var i pool - virkelig fin. Vi havde fryseelementer og picnic kurv og vi fik det på køl om natten - PRIMA service. Rigtig godt hotel til prisen.
