great for a family with kids. There are many amenities indoor an outdoor, as well as evening activities, movies. Very friendly staff, great shuttle service to Vail and Lion's Head towns. Very spacious and family friendly Lobby, Cafeteria is a great option for breakfast and dining. The game room next to the cafeteria is great to spend some time with the kids while enjoining some food.

The resort is definitely isolated from the ski village lifestyle, which could serve as a pleasure for some and an inconvenience for others, however the isolation does not detach from the plethora of amenities the resort has for guests, such as two jacuzzis, a pool, two restaurants, a ski rental shop, super cozy lounge and its own ski lift, a supermarket, spa and more. The only downside is that room service closes at 9PM..never seen that even in “4 star” hotels

One of the better stays in Vail we've had in awhile. Room was solid & clean. Hotel was quiet. Staff was helpful. Great restaurants within the hotel and there was always entertainment/live music in the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back.

Excellent staff. Maureen at the concierge desk was very helpful. Logan was superb. They guys from
Engineering who got chrome cast to work on the tv were very helpful. The bed was comfy. The room was very nice, and we enjoyed our balcony view. Makoto was an excellent dining experience, as was the breakfast buffet at Gessners. I really appreciated the shuttle service to downtown Vail.

Waited in line for over an hour only to be told his time was up after he agreed to take us, and then said if we wanted one we needed to pay him directly. Not good.

This hotel was absolutely excellent. We loved our stay. The hotel itself was gorgeous and so clean. The amenities are well maintained. We used the hot tub every night and the gym is well equipped. The shuttle to the popular areas of town was always speedy and the drivers friendly. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional. We also loved how they treated our pup. We strongly recommend!

The hotel was beautiful. They have the best staff and made us feel welcome. The pool was beautiful with the fireplace and the snow. We used the workout facilities and they were top notch. The hotel felt cozy and we loved the warm cookies and hot chocolate in the evening. The mixed drinks we ordered at the bar were delicious and Makoto, the Japanese restaurant served me the best steak I have had in a long time. We can't wait to return.

The restaurants have no good food and extremely expensive. The breakfast was.$40 per person for breakfast that you get for free at a holiday inn. Fake eggs and food was all cold. 6 people: 3 adults 3 kids $294.00 for one breakfast. Its the worst food ever. Also you get an extra charge for \"Resort Fee\" and valet parking is $85 per day.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, Room was spot on. Shower pressure was great, plenty of hot water. Bell team and concierge were great and accommodating. All F&B outlets were great and food quality was on point. I do recommend more staff to assist at the market as there were noticeable delays in the AM. POV -,your staff does need to let guest know that gratuity is included. Being a GM myself in South Beach at a luxury property it’s part of our SOP that the service charge has already been added for convenience and that the staff make the guest aware. Therefore any additional tip is at the guests discretion . The team has the habit of placing the 3rd receipt in the back so unless you comb through the charges most unsuspected guests will leave an additional tip not realizing the tip was already added. I get why they do it but it can leave a bad taste in a guests experience should they realize this during their itemizing of their bill. Your a convention hotel and therefore overtipping is not something companies will reimburse. Overall a great stay and thankful for your hospitality. We will be back and will highly recommend your property.

I booked a deluxe king Mountain View room based mainly off the pictures of the room online-a balcony, carpeted floors. We brought our dog and when we checked in, we got a large wood floor room with no balcony. Our dog is skittish on wood floors so we try to avoid them when traveling. The front desk told me the hotel was fully booked so we couldn’t switch to a different room. So we had lay down sheets, towels, rugs all over the room so our dog was comfortable. The windows didn’t open and I specifically booked the room thinking we’d have a balcony with fresh mountain air. That was very disappointing, perhaps more up front advertising and descriptions of rooms would be helpful. I paid more for a deluxe room that had none of the features I saw online! Otherwise the hotel was nice. The shuttle ran frequently and was dog friendly. The food/bar was good, albeit very pricey which is Vail in general.

Stunning property. Nestled right next to a beautiful walking path and creek. Rooms were great and lobby and amenities were great. We were a little disappointed because the hot tub and pool were not working when we got there and we could not use them the entire stay. Other than that, everybody was very friendly. There was a lot of dining options and the shuttle was extremely helpful getting in and out of town.

I can’t say enough about the excellent quality of this Hyatt. We will be back!! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Danielle at the concierge desk. She went above and beyond for us and helped maximize our experience! If I had to give any feedback for improvement, I’d say put grass like astroturfing down under the loungers by the pool that are currently in the dirt and maybe better tv/movie access.
Can’t wait to get back there!

The property is classified as \"5 Star\" but it is NOT. It is well kept, but not quite the 5 star status it claims to be. The staff is very professional and friendly but provide very little service. There is no turn-down service and rooms are kept with minimal amenities, to the point that it was uncomfortable to have to be calling for simple things like two wine glasses that were removed from our room (we brought them in because they don't have it in the room despite the fact that there is a wine bottle opener) and one of our bathrobes was removed from the room and never returned. We received a very nice upgrade because the room we selected was misrepresented both in the hotel's website and in the Expedia website. The manager on site, Vaibhav Saxena was extremely nice and accommodating in an effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, and to make up for the room issue, he upgraded us to a new larger suite; however, there is where we noticed the lack of adequate amenities that are standard of a 5 star property. We also approached the Concierge to request ideas for what to do during our stay and other than give us brochures (which we had already downloaded from the internet) they were not at all helpful. We did not find this service at all helpful, unlike at many other 5 star properties we stay at. In general, I had a good experience, but it was definitely not the experience I expected and definitely not the experience a 5 star hotel should deliver.

We arrived to find the place sold out due to a conference which meant long lines and no seating at the bar areas. Then a large wedding party arrived consuming most of the areas and had to listen to the wedding music/DJ from 5pm -10:30pm followed by the clean up crew for a hour later. Would have appreciated the hotel making me aware of my room location and the proximity to the wedding so I could have requested my room to be else where. A prior individual left a few that the hot tub was green.....it was. The pool is also not to scale for the size of property. We won't be back.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff is so friendly and inviting, big shout out to Brooke who is the manager of food and beverage. I was very impressed with the location and the amazing pool and the walking trails/biking trails as well. I don't see myself staying at any other hotel when I visit Vail. Also, the dining in the Makoto restaurant was phenomenal. The bar menu was awesome- order the steak bites! And the burritos for breakfast at the market were 10/10.

I love how easy this hotel is to stay in and get around Vail! The complementary shuttle is very convenient and runs quite often. We were quite disappointed to learn that the pie eating contest is only for children, after one adult in our group signed up and then later wasn’t allowed to participate. These stipulations should be posted! She had been looking forward to it all day, so being allowed would have been a highlight for her, it was a definite missed opportunity. I love the pool and hot tubs! The bar is very convenient and has a great selection of drinks and food.

The carpet tack strip between the guest room and the bathroom was exposed - both my wife and I stepped on it accidentally, sticking our feet with the tacks. Not just a state of poor repair, it's a safety hazard. Strange that housekeeping wouldn't report this to maintenance.

Overall, the hotel meets the standard expectations of a 4-star chain. The property is well-maintained, and both the valet and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

However, the room experience left much to be desired. We are a family of four and booked a connecting room for comfort during our stay. Unfortunately, the room assigned to the adults had serious plumbing issues. The shower was completely clogged, and even when not in use, it would randomly back up, creating a foul smell throughout the bathroom.

When I brought this issue to the front desk (Robert if I’m not mistaken), their only solution was to send a plumber to fix it during our stay — which was the last thing we wanted while on a 4-day vacation with toddlers. Noise, smell, and people working in our room during our holiday is far from ideal.

The concierge informed us there were no other rooms available due to full occupancy and did not offer any alternative solutions or compensation — not even a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. His response was essentially: if you don’t want plumbing work happening in your room, then too bad.

Disappointed by the lack of service recovery from a hotel of this caliber. While the staff in certain departments were great, the handling of our room issue left us feeling overlooked and dissatisfied.

Great property my girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Although the pool was occupied by so many families and we never got a chance to sit out there and relax. Would be nice to have another pool option for adults only but overall very good property. The Makado restaurant was amazing. Rooms are very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Very beautiful setting and the hotel had excellent food options as well as bar areas. The pool and hot tubs were great but were pretty dirty due to the amount of foot traffic. Could have used some service throughout the day but only seemed serviced lightly at night or early am. Parking was added which was $50-60/day depending on valet service or not. There was also a built in $35 per service use for valley. Location-wise it was a jaunt to Lion’s Head and Vail Village but the shuttles were frequent and the more secluded area was worth it if that’s what you are looking for. Otherwise, a terrific walking path with biking options was a great way to get from place to place. Our room was nice but the sofa was pretty dusty and seemed to have dog hair from other visitors.
