Antlers was perfect for our family of 3. The location is perfect and an easy walk to the village and slopes. The condo had everything we needed for our stay and the property amenities are great. We utilized the hot tub, heated parking, ski valet, and ski lockers. We will definitely be back.

The stay was lovely. Property is great. Quiet and well located. I was surprised when checking in that since I had booked my stay with Expedia I had to pay $50/night for parking. There was no other choice for parking so this felt like a punishment.

Very accommodating. Had step stool for toddlers, everything you would need in a kitchen, and wonderful views of the creek. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us! Only negative would be their parking garage. Super tight spots and hard to park larger vehicles.

This is our second time to Vail and after getting to know area I knew I wanted to be closer to lionshead shops, restaurants and ski. We totally loved our stay at Antlers the front desk staff was helpful and friendly, the condo was spacious, clean and cozy and it was 2 minutes walk from lionshead and a short shuttle ride to the village. Will definitely be back!!!

Overall satisfactory, toilet was not working but they did address quickly, WiFi signal for tv streaming was weak causing delays (not good for college football), standard check out is 10:00, they wanted $50 for 12:00- seriously. We have stayed at numerous properties in Vail and would consider this property below average for the area. If you can get at a low price then might be worth it

We were taken so well care of and no detail went unnoticed. From the time we got off the road to when we opened the door to our room, it was perfect.

The staff are friendly, helpful and full of big smiles. This couldn’t have been a more fabulous vacation!

Two things to note:
A) jets for one of the hot tubs was broken (not a huge deal)
B) it does cost $50/night for covered, heated, garage parking

Overall, we can’t recommend The Antlers enough for a perfect Vail stay! Make sure to ask about the free bikes for use to pedal around town. We will be coming back next year!

They were up front about no air conditioning mid summer. It was not needed. We were only there one night. The room was very nice. WiFi did not work and neither did the TV in the bedroom, if we stayed longer that would have been annoying. The surrounding area was beautiful. The room rate was a great value compared to others near by. Nice walking areas. Restaurants in the area were expensive. Summary: I would stay there again

An excellent location. Easy walk to the gondola and everything else. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean property. Condo had all the necessary kitchen amenities for cooking. Nice and convenient gas fireplace. Adequate living room space and a dining table that can fit 5 (or even 6) persons. Bathroom was adequate, even if the sink was out of the bathroom.

Two things that could be improved: a) Very tight bedroom spaces. The condo had two bedrooms, which would barely fit the beds. Characteristically, the door would not close because the walled TV stuck out of the wall onto the door frame. Overall, the architect stuffed more things that could fit in the existing space. The condo would function better as a one-bedroom than two bedrooms but obviously this is a structural design that cannot be changed; b) It is always a nice gesture if there are some basic food ingredients in the kitchen (salt, spices, sugar). I do not know the logistics about guests taking all these when they leave but it certainly makes for a warmer reception.

Condo was dated. Kitchen needs updating. Oven is old and doesn’t keep temperature. Condo needs one more decent sofa chair so all 6 could sit comfortably instead of the floor. Cleaning crew very nice and responsive.
I misunderstood and thought laundry was in the condo. Not the case, have to go to cold basement with quarters to do loads. This is a pain with family of 6.
Manager freaked out running around hotel admonishing families for mask reasons. It was ridiculous and off-putting.
Shuttle (Patrick) always avail so that was good.

We checked into a room that was very used & outdated. Couch smelled of throw up & closet area was filled with dog urine. They switched us the next day. That room did not have hot water. We took cold showers Friday night. Saturday we had to shower down the hall.
Dogs were barking all night & Bulldozers outside even on Friday night. We wany to be credited one night back!!!

The view of the slopes/Gore Creek was beautiful. I wish the balcony was larger though. The fireplace was gorgeous stack stone and all of the bathrooms were updated and spacious. The towels were fluffy and thick (plenty of them) and the kitchen was well appointed.

The hotel is under construction. It was noisy and a mess. Had we known, we never would have booked at this hotel. The front desk guy actually told me that I had been sent several emails telling me that the hotel was under construction. It wasn’t true. There was one email that mentioned that construction would be completed on Dec. 1. We checked in on Dec. 7 and they weren’t even close to being complete. The units are old and run down. We supposedly had one of the best units....it definitely had a good layout but it was dated and worn. We won’t be back!

This is the second time that I have stayed at Antlers. I forgot how amazing this place is. It is away form the main village which is nice after a day of skiing. Easy to get to Vail Village and a short walk to Eagle Bahn Gondola. Can’t wait for next time!

The property is very conveniently located in Lionshead Village; close to the lift, shops, and restaurants. The ski valet service is outstanding and worth using as you skis will be by the gondola when the lifts open. Don't forget to tip the guys! The property is tired though and the room needed updating as everything seemed old. The wifi did not work and the front desk sort of shrugged that off with comments along the lines of \"yeah, we need to call the provider\". The tv was old and needed replacing as the color was off. However, the positives outweigh the negatives enough that I would probably stay there again due to the price point and convenience.

Went with my wife and two young sons. Great location, especially if we were there to ski (we were not lol). Room was great, the gas fireplace was used a ton and the pull out couch bed was way more comfy than the master bedroom bed. Dog friendly and they were very accommodating, nice to not get nickle and dimed on parking too. Overall our stay was wonderful and we'll certainly be back!

My only gripe was that since we were staying during Thanksgiving, when we checked in we asked about and showed an interest in the buffet... well the staff didn't tell us \"you need to tell us today, not Thanksgiving day\" which we would have definitely done. Oh well! Still, highly recommended.

Antlers in Vail are condo style rooms that were very spacious and decorated in a modern colorful decor. There was a grill on the porch and a fully furnished kitchen. We were planning to go out and eat but were so comfortable, we decided to go to the City market nearby and grill our own salmon and steak and hang out in the room . The mountain view from the deck was amazing and their was a light snowfall that made our night ! It is in the center of town so walking on the river path or shopping in the nearby plaza was a step out the door. Although we did not ski, Vail resort was also walking distance. A beautiful weekend !!

The room they gave us was very small, and was not clean. When we did request a late checkout (from 12pm instead of 11am) they were very strict that it had to be at 11am because the next guests were coming at 4:30pm) We have a 2yr old and I busted my knee skiingso we needed a little extra time to check out. Their ski valet service tightened my bindings on too high of a setting and gave me very short sport skis even though I requested longer powder skis. My ski didn't pop off like it was supposed to when I fell and I tore a ligament. They insisted on a tip as well even though they didn't deserve one. Front desk staff was rude and neither friendly nor welcoming. Hotels.com said the parking was included, but when I got their they charged me an extra $50 dollars a day for parking. What a rip-off!

The room felt really outdated. The kitchen was beautiful and the living room was nice, but the furniture was weirdly old. And the bathrooms were kinda dirty looking. The bed is tucked away in this uncomfortably tiny room we literally didn’t even use it, just used the pull out bed because it was more spacious in that area. The room was nice but I really don’t think it was a $270 a night type room. Might stay again, but will call ahead to request the more updated options.

Great place for a family ski vacation!

The Antlers is a great place to stay for a family ski vacation at Vail. I stayed at the Antlers multiple times with my parents when I was a child for ski vacations at Vail. I have returned as an adult several times with my own children over the last 7 years. The rooms have been recently updated. The Antlers has various sizes of rooms for different budgets and needs. I use the studio size with my family of four. This April we stayed in studio room 204 which had a small master bedroom with a king sized bed and a very small second bedroom with a bunk bed for the kids which was a nice upgrade for a studio. The kitchen and bathroom are nicely updated. The furnishings are classy and comfortable. Yes, the unit is small and there isn't much room for suitcases but the studio is less expensive and the tight squeeze is worth it for the extra private bedroom in this unit. There is a beautiful view of the mountain and Gore Creek from the rooms. The outdoor pool and hottub are great, situated along the quiet wooded creek with a view of the mountain. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While the Antlers is not ski in-ski out, It is a short walk to the Lionshead Gondola which can be easily done with young kids in ski boots. There is a complimentary ski valet service that reliably transports your skis to and from the mountain each day. There are several restaurants and shops in Lionshead within a short walking distance. Our favorite with the kids is Blue Moose Pizza.

Nice location, disappointing room.

Our bedding situation in unit #110 was a huge disappointment. Our queen size bed was jammed against one wall making it virtually impossible for my husband and I to easily get into or out of bed to use the bathroom without waking the other. To make matters worse, the cheap mattress was bouncy so if we even slightly bumped the bed the entire bed frame and mattress shook. My husband ended up sleeping on a rollaway mattress in the living room. This was not what we envisioned when we booked the hotel. With the exception of the kitchen, our unit #110 was old and dingy and poorly lit.

We had booked 3 units here for a family stay. The other units were much nicer than #110. The overall condition of the hotel is below average and is in need of updating. The slow and small elevator was particularly a problem for the top floor unit we rented. However, for the price the property is okay (with the exception of unit 110.)

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Lion's Head Gondola. That was the best part of our stay.

Great Location; Too expensive for a Motel

After a long drive up in the snow from Denver, we checked into the hotel and parked. (The parking lot was extremely cramped and reminded me of a lot in Manhattan. Some cars were double parked and a lot of potential for dings.) We pulled some bags out of the car and were ready to walk into the warm hallway, but nope, all of the hallways were exposed. I guess it's not a big deal...until you have to wait 5 minutes for an elevator and walk another 2 minutes to get to or from the hot tub when it's 5 degrees out. (it is a nice hot tub with a good view.) Psychologically, I just kept thinking, $600 for a room in a motel?
My son and I were skiing most of the days, so the room didn't matter much. My wife didn't ski one day and there were really no comfortable places to sit/relax in the room. It just wasn't a comfortable place to hang out for a day. The furnishings were a bit dated and looked fine, but sitting on a log dining room chair for 8 hours was not what I had expected/wanted for a $600 per night hotel room. I guess that's what you get at Vail for $600.
The location was really good as it was a 2 minute walk to the Lionshead town in Vail. The ski butler made getting to and from the slopes very easy. I would say though that we always had to do a decent amount of planning on the slopes to make it back to Lionshead before the lifts closed.
At the end of the day I think I'd take less convenience for more comfort the next time I go.

Excellent facility

Antler customer service was excellent. Everyone in the staff was very helpful and very adjusting. I stayed in suite 503, Mountain View is great and sweet was very well equipped. Me and my family had a great time and find it very comfortable.... we are definitely going back and using the same facility, because it's so convenient walking to gondolas and ski lifts....
