Amazing staff, Great Value! We arrived late, but communicated with staff for the check in process after hours. The room was great and matched the pictures. Clean and well kept.

The staff were all friendly and took time to answer our questions. They had a FREE bus to the Gondola that was timely and on time. Even a Grocery shopping run!

On check out, the staff let us still use the shuttle and leave our car parked! Saving us from the astronomical Vail parking fees.

I highly recommend staying here. It was a great time, the whole family enjoyed everyone and was a great room, staff and overall great facility!

I really enjoyed my stay at Vail run. When I come back to Vail I will most certainly be staying here. I found the unit to be home like and cozy with all the creature comfort efforts one might want. More closets and drawers than you need! I thought the push button fireplace with a timer was great. I appreciated the well appointed kitchen as well as the scheduled ride to the supermarket. Juan, who drove the shuttle was fantastic and I appreciated the frequent trips to lionshead base for pick up. When he was working, one did not have to wait for a very long time for a shuttle to show up. In a world of impersonal corporate accommodations that all look the same, Vail Run was refreshing in maintaining an authentic traveler experience. Great Job!

Staff was very friendly and helpful except cleaning staff they need more people training, room was clean and spacious. My family and I were there to ski and the bus service from the hotel was very helpful. There’s also the city bus stop at walking distance. There’s a bar downstairs from the hotel, bartender was friendly and professional, we had pizza from the restaurant and it was decent. Overall it’s a good place to stay.

The check in process was terrible. The person at the desk was condescending, arrogant and rude. He acted as if it was a bother for me being there. I am not one to complain, but it was terrible. Other staff members were fine. The room was great, with nice hotel amenities. The outside parking lot costing $20 per night is ridiculous.

I was there for a nearby conference, but it was a fantastic place for families. They went all out with Halloween decorations—very festive. They also had a great kids room, pool and arcade/game room. The property is a little older, but very clean and comfortable with a fireplace, spacious private balcony, kitchen, and comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

definitely did not get the memo on the front desk closing at eight or 8:30 PM which I guess is typical of Vail Valley. Learned something new! I definitely had a very unfortunate check in experience and was not very happy to be searching for the key for 45 minutes and was not given the option for a luggage cart. Let allow any kind of assistance and I was told that I needed to wait until the morning. overall, I missed the opportunity to get into the hot tub because of all the nonsense from the Spanish person checking me in at night, and I was extremely put off as this was intended to be relaxing in a vacation at this point in my trip, exploring Colorado. So with all of the nonsense at check-in and the missing key and having to contact an overnight option for myself, literally locked out of the room because of the piss poor instructions by the individual so much in a hurry to be on his way for the night, but yet stood around in a stalker, kind of manner for over a half an hour watching me try to find the key. Come to find out there was a secondary envelope for me in the night dropbox, never explained to me or even offered to me as a potential option for gaining entry into my room WOW! Instead this individual chose to sit and watch me dig through all of my things that I had come to the front desk with for a half an hour before leaving, literally denying assistance KNOWING FULL WELL I WAS UNABLE TO GAIN ENTRY INTO MY ROOM!! Definitely harassment. Otherwise PERFECT!!

Vail Run is a great location. It is near the main highway, but is on a frontage road. Easy to find. Close to dining, mountains, grocery store, Starbucks
Etc. Terry and Juan were great. Both were very accomodating, friendly, and funny. Pool and hot tub were great. The boys enjoyed the game room. (16 and 17). The shuttle ran all day, would even take you to the grocery store.This resort has several other amenities, but we didn't use them all.

***2 Bedroom Condo***
The condo we stayed in was CLEAN.
It featured a propane/gas fireplace, patio facing the mountains, kitchen, dining room area, living room with sofas and TV. 2 bedrooms, both had TV's. 1 shower/. Both bathrooms had handsoap. Shower had body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a blow dryer.

Beautiful view! We loved every minute of our stay.

Had pretty much everything you need to prepare a dish including spices.
If you want to bake a cake, or casseroles/hot dish. There are no cake pans or any sort of dish to accommodate. Not a huge deal, but might be helpful to some. There were cooking sheets. Might be beneficial to see what you have to work with before planning meals. Cleaning supplies including dishwasher soap and vacuum were provided.

Its definitely a location that forces you to slow down and relax.

Overall, our stay was beautiful, relaxing, fun, and had a great time. Loved the location, staff, the resort itself and the amenities offered. I would certainly visit again.

Downside was that our room was on the highway side so there was a lot of road noise at night that made it hard to sleep. If your a deep sleeper, no worries. Would stay again but would request a room not facing the highway.

Had to walk around and look for the check in clerk, who never explained any property amenities. Was told that I must park outside, not even given the option to park in the garage, during major snowstorm. Website and check-in paperwork list free coffee in lobby, but there is none. No housekeeping due to staff shortage. No hot water on one of our mornings. One light socket didn't work. The bottom of our ski locker was completely rotted out. Dining table and chairs were very tall, meaning you can't put your feet on the ground while sitting in them and eating. Very disappointing for a property in Vail.

We loved the friendly front desk staff and shuttle bus driver. The shuttle bus was a fantastic way to get to the ski slopes.
The outdoor swimming pool in the winter was fun! And the hot tub was great too. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

Room was clean and functional. Reasonably updated. Lobby and main area of the hotel was much older and smelled like a old restaurant. Front desk and shuttle service closes for lunch for an hour each day. Parking, cleaning, even access to the game room costs money. No real complaints with the actual condo I rented but the building / amenities were a little disappointing.

Great property in a great location. Close to Lionshead village. Right in front of the bus stop. Pizza place right next to the resort. Parking is $15 but they have free shuttles for convenience. Pool and game room available. I got the 5 person King Loft and it was massive! We all slept comfortably. Kitchen is fully stocked. Everything you need is in that condo. It was very clean and full of amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s also free storage for skis or snowboards. I will definitely come back to this hotel with my family.

The room was mostly as expected, but the pull out bed was sagging and lumpy, very uncomfortable. They charge for the game room, and it was literally 3 arcade games (1 didn't work), and darts. They wanted to charge an additional $15/hr for the pool table, ping pong, and PS5 (each), which is kind of ridiculous. Bell carts were in short supply and likely 15years old. Doubt we'll be staying again.

I stayed here to ski locally at vail and I could not have been more happy about my experience. Transportation is provided, there are local stores near by, and the staff is great. The prices were better than all the surrounding areas and I would argue that this place is better than the other places in many ways. They have a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, pizza place in the resort, and a phenomenally cool lounge area where you watch movies and relax. Great place, I only have good things to say. Will certainly be staying here again!!

My friend and I stayed in a one bedroom loft while I came to town for surgery and stayed for a week. It was a great place to recover. Terry at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed and answered our many requests with patience and respect. The place still maintains a unique charm with its wood detailing, big windows, and quirky art. So much better than these modern renovated hotels. The free shuttle that runs to the village is right outside which was convenient. We want to come back when I can participate in some skiing or mountain biking!

Everything was fantastic except there is tremendous road noise from I-70. Otherwise a great value! Suite was stocked with every amenity you could think of. But if the windows or sliding glass door was open for cooler air ( no air conditioning) it was rather loud.

My unit was adequately furnished, but it was on the street side, so the noise was constant and loud. To make matters worse, it was very warm in the unit and a fan was not provided. The decor of the common areas is very dated. There are better options in Vail.

It is hot in August and this hotel has no AC. It’s basically an apartment building from the 70s with some minimal updates. Single elevator for the entire building and it broke down. They also charge for parking even though it’s outside of Vail village itself.

Property was very nice and clean with a kitchen, sitting area, and bed. Checkin was simple, although after hours rerquires coordination. Had a fireplace in the room. No A/C since Vail doesn't often get hot. Temp drops fast though, so I left windows open until 10PM to cool it off. Expedia did not mention that there is a $15 parking permit fee.

Right above the Interstate

Be aware that there is no air conditioning and this hotel sits right above I 70… So if you open your windows at night, the traffic in the interstate is very loud. We had to turn a box fan on high for the white noise so we could leave the windows open at night. Just wanted to mention as lack of air-conditioning may be a killer for some people.

Front desk not manned by people equipped to check you in or out without waiting for qualified staff to get back to the desk. Was told I’d just need to wait to check in when someone got back from somewhere. Charged for parking when no one else was in the massive lot. Pool was not accessible and no one was around to answer questions. It is not in any village or accessible to villages without driving under highway.
