Great convenient location

A compact property, but had everything we required for a very pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very good. A great location for visiting the University, bus stop right outside. In easy reach of restaurants. We stayed over weekend and parking is free 200 yards away.

Great staff at a fine hotel on Mondego River

Staff were lovely. Stored medication in refrigerator. Helped us get Ubers and the correct Ecobus which stops right outside the hotel and goes up the hill to the university for two euros per person. The suites are between a great restaurant, Don Taska, and a delicious gelateria. Would return in a heartbeat! Obrigada!

Very close to Santa Clara Bridge and Coimbra historic city centre, about 5 min. walking. You can park nearby, public parking either paid or free parking on the street beside \"Portugal dos Pequenitos\". Staff was correct and polite, we'd suggest to improve or a bit more variety on the breakfast, otherwise everything was good considering the location and service provided.

Decent for the price by generally lacking

The room was large and clean. The bathroom was rather tiny and tight. The bed was comfortable. They only have double beds at the hotels and I think it's a missed opportunity as the rooms are quite large and can easily accommodate executive double or king. The room did miss few key items such as a coffee machine and safe. The room also didn't have any water bottles of cups.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite that was as spacious as it was luxurious. We had a very comfortable king sized bed, heat and air conditioning, full kitchen and living room. An added bonus was the washing machine! The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was very good. There is a lovely patio in the back where you can enjoy breakfast in warm weather. The property also includes a common area that looked quite inviting. We peaked into a double room that we had originally booked and while obviously smaller, it looked very inviting. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed several days. Staff are very pleasant & helpful and speak English. Hotel location excellent for seeing Coimbra! Bus stop right outside the door including the bus to take you to the University which is on top of a very, very steep hill! Loved that there were very good restaurants literally just outside the door to the hotel! Breakfast is exceptional!!

The best part of staying here we’re the wonderful staff from the front desk to the dining area. All very kind and helpful. plus the terrific breakfasts. Rooms kind of cramped but worth the inexpensive price. Also good location.

Staff was wonderful. Unfortunately we were here during the end-of-May graduation celebrations. Very loud music until 4:00AM. Otherwise I think a very good choice. Parking is free, but a walk from the hotel. Keep in mind the sounds from close rooms is very evident. Superior room bathroom has a tiny sink. No refrigerator.

Amazing place to stay in Coimbra!

From outside we could not see the potential of this little great hotel. First, reception event late night was very friendly. Second, the room: spacious, clean, renewed, comfort. Third, location- it is about $6-8 Uber to top central area(university). And lastly, breakfast worth a lot!!! Very fair price for a delicious fresh continental breakfast. We visited the city on a Sunday before Christmas so we We’re only guests for the breakfast Monday morning. Anyway they made us a banquet!

This apartment was very neat, big and clean. Comfortable lounge and huge tv in lounge room with smaller tv’s in each room. A full size kitchen was available and a small balcony which was a bonus. We had breakfast included and the offering as substantial. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was centrally located with tourist attractions being within walking distance. Parking not available at the property but the staff informed me of where I could park the car securely and for free within a 2 min walk of the apartment. I would recommend Riversuites without any hesitation.

Room was comfy, shower needed some cleaning as it had mold in some areas. Continental breakfast included was good.
Friendly staff, they stored our bags and left in the room for us when the room was ready.

Location is good but room was disappointing, rug had stains, minimal amenities, chair also with stains, didn’t look like the picture shown in the web. Bathroom very small and could hardly move in the enclosed shower even though I am a small person. Breakfast was good, staff nice but didn’t do anything about the room as we mentioned the condition of the rug & chair. No toiletries available either.

We stayed here one night on our way back to Lisbon. The room had a odd layout. The sleeping area was a bit small, the bed was too! But it was comfortable! Had a sitting area upon entering the room. It was a little dark but it was fine. It was quiet at night which is what is really important to us. We walked over the bridge to see the university and the town. Quite hilly! Breakfast was adequate and included in the price which always makes for a great value! We ate dinner right next door which was great! Nice little hotel tho

Good location, free parking and transportation to University nearby. We walked (or should I say climb) to the university library from hotel, about 25 min. The building split in 2 parts. One has elevator and another not. Make sure to ask for the room in the part of the building that suits your physical abilities. Breakfast was ok.

Nice small Hotel

The hotel is by the riverside with busy traffic. The check-in area is quite small and unloading bay on the busy road may be a challenge. Though we could park by the bayside of the bus stop. Luckily the public parking garage is not too far, within walking distance of 10 minutes. And it's free.

Excellent location, room is quite good.

The hotel was very well-located, just 300 meters from the CBD. There are five restaurants next to the hotel, and if you walk to the CBD you will find everything you need. The hotel is quite good, with nice staff, a good breakfast, and the room was also very good. Only negative point is that even though the hotel claims free parking, parking is actually available at a nearby (200m) massive, free public parking place, which stays open all day. That was not really a problem, but if it is raining, it would be a nuisance.

I would stay there again for sure.

Good location, walking distance to everything

The bathroom sliding door is in front of the bed. If someone goes to the bathroom during the night, the light is shining right in the eyes of the sleeping person.
There's no room where to put suitcase, there is no chair, nothing.

Nice hotel

Good location although you have to walk across the bridge. You cannot park in front of the hotel to check in. It is better to go to the underground parking just at the roundabout past the hotel and park there (its free) then walk the 2 blocks to the hotel. Hotel was nice.

Small, very clean rooms provided excellent value.
Courtyard breakfast area is a pleasant surprise if weather is suitable.

Good location

This is a traveler hotel with basic amenities.... great if you use the hotel for sleeping after a day exploring the surrounds. Price is right for what is offered. The rooms are really small without safe box. Good breakfast and the staff are awesome.

Comfort in Coimbra

An excellent location in Coimbra within easy walking distance of all the tourist sights. Plenty of restaurants nearby. A clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and extremely helpful and professional staff. Nice to have breakfast as well. Would return without any hesitation.

You won't be disappointed.

There was 13 of us staying in multiple rooms. All rooms were clean and modern. The staff was friendly, helpful and gave 100% to make sure we were happy with our stay. Even the owner spoke with us to ensure our rooms were to our liking. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The location is so great that you can park your car and walk to some great attractions. The bus also stops right out front to take you around.
