This is a nice and simple hotel to stay in in Coimbra. The staff were helpful and kind, and the front desk is staffed 24/7. They allowed me to leave my bag behind the desk for a bit on the last day.

Location is close to the downtown area, easy bus connection with railway Coimbra B station. Across the road is the river with a boardwalk. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly, a common room near reception. The desk always manned. I would stay here again. Solo traveller

The double room/single use was comically small but great value for the location. The shuttle bus stop from coimbra-b is literally around the corner, most of the local bus stops are within a block of the hotel, and the historic city area and university is just uphill. Housekeeping was good, the A/c worked well, and the front desk staff were good.

It's a good location at the edge of the old town of Coimbra, near the university and with quick access around the corner from the hotel to the train station Coimbra B via the free green bus (the only bus that is green).

This is located at prime location, right next to the cp.pt Coimbra-A train station. This is so great!
The property has been run by a team/family very proud of their job. Think about the whole street front facing building you own!

Staff is super friendly snd helpful.
The property is old and updated to modern.
I did not check for Wi-Fi.
There is no tea kettle to boil water for tea but the are enough cafes right downstairs : )

This is Coimbra, you really got to be here while traveling to Portugal !!!

This was a great short notice value stay for us while we were travelling through Portugal. They let us leave our bags while we toured the city and also gave us early check in at 2pm and a late check out by noon by default without having to ask. There was AC and the bathroom was fine with good water pressure. The only unfortunate note was that we found the beds quite hard and less comfortable. We didn’t have any problems with noise throughout the night, although in the morning we could hear lots in the hallways.

Most things said about the property are true. Close to a station that is closing in a month. Some rooms mighty dark without proper windows. The rooms are comfortable if small. You can hear everything. It is well located for both sides of the river. It served my purposes well.

Very central to the lower part of the city and right across from the train station. The staff were very helpful. Although small, the room was comfortable and ensuite. The air conditioning worked well. There was a nice view of the city from the window.

Negatives:
my room (including the bathroom) has cracks in the walls and ceilings. Crumbling paint. Honestly it needs to be painted- a feature wall would be nice- just colour or some painted artwork.
TV was static.
There was a desk but no chair.
You could hear other guests talking and walking in the corridors. It was very loud.

Cheap, well located but with problems

Kinda hard to describe this place, I’m definitely still very happy I booked it as the location couldn’t be better (as I arrived from the bus station), it’s a very hilly city and most accommodation are up on a hill and you are looking at hundreds of steps to get there ( no matter how good the property is tbh), this guesthouse is definitely well located, at 15 min walk (mostly flat) from the station. HOWEVER, it’s very basic, and he cautious if you are a light sleeper, people ( I’m suspicious that they are the overnight staff but could be guests) talk in the hallway as if no one else sleeps there, I can hear laughs and loud conversations WHOLE NIGHT LONG! Even with my earplugs, good that I was so tired and was able to sleep a bit in the end! So I guess it really depends on what you wajt

Good value budget hotel

I stayed 2 nights in an ensuite single bed room with TV and writing desk. The hotel is in an old building, but the room condition is better than I thought. I paid a good rate to book this room. The hotel is located right across from the Coimbra A train station and the bus stop to Conimbriga (Roman ruins).

The two receptionists I met over my stay was helpful. The room was spotless cleaned with nice scent. Room was served daily and English TV channel was available.

Cheap and close to town

Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful when possible, but none spoke more than a few basic words of English which made things very difficult. Even when attempting to get keys back and saying our room number (it was required to hand them over every day if we left the building) basic numbers were not understood by most.
Room had basics, but was not comfortable. No stand for shower head, no ventilation in very small bathroom, no shelf to rest anything on anywhere in the bathroom, chips coming off the shower floor. Bed mattress was very old and worn, with springs popping out making sleep very uncomfortable. The only redeeming features of the room were that there was a small desk to work at (although bathroom door opened out into the seat) and air conditioning to cool us down in the middle of the day in the very hot Coimbra city centre.
This apartment was very cheap and in a very convenient location, right beside Coimbra station and two minutes walk from some lovely cafes. But I very much doubt I would stay there again unless I was incredibly strapped for cash.

Cheap hotel close to the train station

Old fashioned hotel, where everything seems to be at least 70 years old, especially the bedlinen. The floor is creaking (old wooden floor), there is no soundproofing, some doors didn't seem to close properly (mine was fine). I had a wooden plank instead of a bed base under my mattress (the mattress was however very good, so it wasn't a problem for me). No breakfast (not needed anyways, since there are a lot coffee shop / pastellarias around).

However, it is very central, cheap, and the staff speaks several languages (which is not often true in Portugal). All in all, it's good, but don't be surprised if you feel like you've just entered an antique shop when you first get in the room! From what I could see, some rooms seem more recent than others, the last floor (3rd) is maybe the last one on the TODO list.

Handy location, first hotel you see when you exit train station. Basic hotel and facilities. But good air conditioning. No elevator, with steep stairs- be mindful if you have heavy luggage. Remember to ask for room at back, so avoid street noises. We had room second floor with views of hotel.

Nous avons eu une chambre très petite pour 4, heureusement qu'on était en famille. Salle de bains exigue. Mais literie de bonne qualité, draps et serviettes propres. Vu l'emplacement très proche du centre historique et le prix payé, l'hôtel était correct pour une nuit d'escale et je le récommande. Pour le petit-déj, il y a de nombreux choix autour de l'hôtel. Et des parkings payants pas très chers à 300m. De toute façon, à Coimbra l'hôtel sert juste pour la douche et l'oreiller, tout le reste se passe en ville.

最高のロケーション！

受付の方はとても親切でした。
現在はコインブラB駅からコインブラ駅までフリーバスが出てるのですが、バス停降りて道路渡って壁沿いに進むとすぐです。ちなみに帰りのバス停は壁沿いに進むだけなので、こちらも楽々でした。
ただ、シングルルームはかなり狭いです。
洗面台が小さ過ぎて使いづらかったです、
１泊ならokですが、２泊以上の滞在は辛いと思います。。

Apesar da simpatia dos funcionários da receção e do preço acessível, o quarto ficou aquém do esperado. Na verdade, tinha plástico no chão (lixo); a fechadura da porta é muito básica; a casa de banho muito pequena (para um quarto com 5 camas individuais), sem qualquer sabonete ou outro produto de higiene.
No entanto, a localização é bastante boa (em frente da estação de comboios, perto de restaurantes e lojas, e com estacionamento relativamente perto e gratuito).

la camera assegnata alla prenotazione aveva finestra interna e la signora alla reception me l'ha gentilmente cambiata con una con finestra all'aperto dalla quale vedevo, anche se di lato, sia il Mondego che la \"capra\"! cambiano asciugamani tutti i giorni ... coperte pesantissime ... semplice ma buon rapporto qualità-prezzo e ottima posizione appena fuori dalla stazione, ma silenziosa grazie a buone finestre... purtroppo senza ascensore...

部屋の天井が高く、リラックス出来る。シャワーも快適に出る。エレベーターはありません。オーナー若しくはスタッフに観光客用でないレストランを紹介してもらった、地元客とポルトガル人韓国人が多く食堂と言う感じで最高であった。シャンプーおボディソープは無し、固形石鹸だけです。

Imóvel antigo, pouca acessibilidade interna.

Para quem busca praticidade em locomoção é uma ótima opção, pois se localiza a menos de 50 metros da estação de comboio Coimbra e cerca de 1km do terminal rodoviário ponto da empresa Rede-Expresso. Entretanto, trata-se de um hotel antigo, com piso de madeira (que pode fazer muito ruído com o trânsito de pessoas no corredor) é composto de vários andares com dificuldade de acesso. Os recepcionistas não auxiliam no transporte das malas, assim os hóspedes precisam subir as escadas com considerável esforço. Definitivamente, para quem está em posse de malas pesadas e possui necessidade especial de locomoção não é o local adequado.

A Pensão Residencial Internacional é uma opção bem simples e barata. O hotel tem cara de antigo, mas é muito bem localizado (ao lado da estação de trem e próximo do centro velho de Coimbra - visitamos quase tudo a pé). Somos do tipo de viajante que não espera muito de um quarto: um lugar tranquilo, limpo e confortável para dormir e um banheiro limpo com um bom chuveiro são suficientes. Sob este ponto de vista, a pensão tem o necessário. Ponto negativo: tem uma escada bem íngreme para chegar aos quartos.

The room is small but the location is superb! And the best part I appreciate is the helpful and responsible staff. Whenever I went in or out of the hotel they checked and confirmed that no stranger came, and provided a lot of useful information, which definitely benefits my trip.

Hôtel sans ascenseur, malgré 3 hauts étages qu'on doit gravir avec les valises et sans aide!!!
Pas trop propre, mais confortable. Pas de petit déjeuner, mais plein de petites \"pastelarias\" ou cafés tout près.
Remarquablement situé: face à la gare ferroviaire, à côté de la station de taxi, en plein centre, à 3 pas de l'office du tourisme.
Accueil excellent.
