There was nothing four star about this hotel. The place was completely run down and the hot food at the breakfast was inedible. Bar was out of order the whole time. When asked the staff had no answers. I would definitely not stay here again.

The property was good with great metro connection to the tourist spots.
The cleaning service was good cleaned everyday and provided new water bottle everyday. Two supermarkets in 30m
Drawbacks - the kitchen did not have a microwave we had to request and wait for 2 days to get it.
They call it a 4star Hotel but it is definitely not.

The rooms were very spacious and of family comfort/good location. The hotel management very poor, sewage smell in the rooms and surrounding, the same poorly prepared breakfast served each morning. Staff are not very friendly with passing on the right information customers needed.
A little bit of TLC and staff training will up lift the hotel standard.

Great location for visiting Budapest. Only downside was that the rooms did not have air conditioning, and due to the close proximity of the metro, pedestrian traffic could be a little noisy and/or drunk in the later hours. Overall, not a deal breaker, but it may be an issue for light sleepers.

The hotel itself was in a great location, very close to a bus station. However, the room itself was not clean. The bedsheets had many fuzzy things & there was a lot of dust & dirt on the floor. The sheets were never changed during my stay. The bathroom sink was clogged. Cleanliness needs a lot of improvement.

We had a wonderful experience with our stay here. An employee named Susan was absolutely amazing. We had received a parking ticket and she went above and beyond in helping us. Comfortable hotel, but with not so friendly staff. We were told that breakfast was €10/person. However, when paying, we were charged € 15/person. It’s ok... misunderstanding can happen, but front desk was EXTREMELY rude, saying that if her “colleague was working from her pocket, she ‘herself’ was not going to”.
Please, train your front desk to treat guests with respect...

The receptionist is very nice and kind, as soon as you step inside, you instantly get a good vibe. The room is huge and clean. Coffee/tea and large bottled water(huge plus) is waiting in the room. Bathroom is well lit, nice tiles and properly cleaned. The shower pressure is excellent. I wish I have booked more nights. I can only recommend this hotel.

The hotel is not quiet and crowded and you can hear who is talking in the adjacent room,also at the corridor,Air condition are not working at the room so it was very cold, i asked the reception about the air condition to fix it she said that the condition just work for cooling not for heating ,and The government has stopped supplying them with heating since the beginning of May ,
They changed the room into a smaller room and did not have a kitchen and while the air conditioning in it with the same problem and she lied to us at the reception when she said it was a better room than we were.

I expected more. The hotel seems good and comfortable at the beginning but actually, it's not. I arrived at a cold night, the air condition just made a lot of noise without making any heat at all (even after complaining at the front desk), the towel warmer didn't work, bad smell from the toilet, sheets were so loose. I Don't recommend this hotel.

Definitely the worst hotel experience I have ever had, nothing to match it!! Di Verdi Imperial is located across the street from the metro, that and the nice staff at the reception are the only 2 good things at the hotel.
We arrived at the hotel around 9 pm, check in was fast and we went up to the room. The room we booked was a superior room however we received a junior suite but we were too tired to argue. Looking around the room, we saw dusty floors, unclean bathroom, hair on the bed, a chair with white stains on it, you name it. I went down to the reception and complained about the room, the lady tried to call the house keeping but no answer and then offered me another room which was as bad as the first. I went back to the reception and said that I wanted to check out and for them to charge me for the first night and refund me for the rest. The receptionist called the manager and he instructed her to upgrade me to thier better hotel, the Verdi Grand Hotel. The room there was a disaster and I went back to the receptionist with the same refund request. She put me through to the manager and he said he wanted happy customers so he upgraded me back to the good hotel but to a better room.
The receptionist came up with us to the room and we discovered that the new room was also dirty, we even showed it to the receptionist and he said they’ll clean it in the morning.
The next morning was the surprise of all surprise, we were asked to move back to the older hotel.

this is a 2 star maximum hotel, lots of the amenities stated on expedia are wrong. airport pick up not 20 euro but 37 euro , far from town center,
at the time I was there no laundry , room not in good condition , torn curtains , shower did not drain ,sheets and towels were not premium like they state, more like sand paper, bottom sheet not fitted so does not stay on the bed I would wake up sleeping on bare mattress ,yuk only thing going for it is great staff.

Has a balcony and a window you can open. Fridge was clean. I don’t think the bedding was freshly laid. Felt like someone slept in it before. No change of sheets during our four-day stay. Yet changed towels every day.
Breakfast was good. Breads were delicious. Many pastries. Not warm though. As if taken out of the freezer the night before. Croissants, even whole wheat were okay. Omelette bar is available too.
Red cushions were inside the drawer under the bed, unlike in the picture.

Receptionists are very helpful; excellent customer service. Highly recommended to those who will visit Budapest the first time.

Room cleaning was not always o.k. sink was blocked in one room and it took some effort that I could change the room. At the moment, there is also a reconstruction site next to the building, expect noise from 7 am to 5 pm. Breakfast was very good, when presented in the Verdi Grand Hotel next to the place, less, when in the Verdi Imperial.

This hotel is ideally placed for metro line 3 and only a 5 minute walk to a nice mall. I had an apartment room which was nice and big and very clean. Complimentary wifi and a fridge to keep drinks cool in was ideal. Double glazing meant outside noise did not get in and great air con kept the room cold. Plenty of storage and bed was comfortable enough but not quite the standard I would expect of a 4 star hotel. That said the deal i got on room was not a 4 star price. Lovely big balcony though and loads of storage. Water left in room was a nice touch. The old town is literally just a few stops on metro. Did not use the lounge but it looked really nice. Would definately come back but if you want something romantic then this might not meet your requirements.

Brilliant location- the locals are friendly and very helpful. Air conditioning was amazing and make use of the balcony. The beds were hard and they ran out of toilet roll! You have to try this restaurant- a real gem and cheap. We are both fussy eaters and this place M35 vendéglő. 5mins walk away.

The hotel is quite new, clean and fresh. The breakfast included was fabulous. The desk staff are very helpful, happy and spoke excellent english. The hotel is a short walk to the main boulevard. There was construction work next door during my stay which was a little noisy but otherwise I'd not hesitate to recommend this place to stay.

I honestly didn't know what to expect! The front desk lady was amazing! No exaggeration! She was always a step ahead of my needs and wants. The room was excellent, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was also great, brand new in fact. Plus the auto garage was a huge plus, and accessibility of the garage was a dream come true. So.eone really knows how to take care of their custoners. I actually have no complaints!!! I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for three nights, and found the cleaning service of the rooms non-existent. The cleaner barged into our room without knocking or notice, left without an apology and never came back to clean our room or take/replace used towels/cutlery during our whole stay.
We decided to warm up some food and eat in our room but then realised there was only one chair so one of us had to eat in bed and sleep in crumbs as no room cleaning.
Apart from that rooms were spacious and provisioned well with fridge, microwave and a couple of plates/cutlery.
Also, a little noisy as construction work going on in extending the hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for two night's whilst in Budapest on business. Reasonably priced but a little basic. The breakfast was expensive with very little choice. The staff were friendly & helpful at check in but trying to book a taxi and check out on the final morning was a painful experience - there was only one guy on the reception desk until 09:00 am who was obviously struggling to keep up with the amount of people all wanting taxis or wanting to check out at the same time. An OK experience but I will probably chose a different hotel the next time I am in town.

Nice holiday in Budapest

The hotel was in ok place, just few metro stops away from the city center. Room was ok. Prices were ok. Weather was good. Budapest is a beautiful city. Hotel food was fine, but the breakfast was disappointing. We were expecting more warm dishes and fresh salad etc. Hotel staff were helpful and reception was open 24 hour a day. Hotel room cleaning was good. Cleaner did good job, toilet was clean and the bead sheets too. After all the holiday was nice. Thank you.

Everything was good except for a man opening the door of my room at 12:30 am one night as I stayed an extra night and the information hadn't been entered into the hotel's computer. However, to compensate me for the mistake I was given two free Metro tickets to the airport! The Metro is only about 50m from the hotel across the main road which is really convenient and the staff are exceptionally helpful. I recommend staying in this hotel as it is value for money.

Great staff make this place great, that and the spacious rooms, comfy beds and great wifi. The plates, cutlery and fridge were very appreciated as a budget traveler. With the grocery store within a block and a half, it was nice to be able to have an inexpensive breakfast and room snacks. Proximity to the Klinikak metro stop was also great.

I loved staying at this hotel, my first visit to Budapest and booked online and I was not disappointed, very comfortable good quality beds, spotless clean white bedding, storage under beds, shelving unit & wardrobes so plenty of space, spacious room, kitchenette area brilliant, all modern and clean, bathroom modern, spotless white towels and powerful shower, balcony a great bonus too. We didn't need to use any form of transport either, weather was great so walked everywhere, 5-7 min walk to big Corvin Shopping Plaza, tesco just 2 min walk from hotel, other little supermarkets nearby, plus tobacconist's & pizza place. About 20 min walk to the main touristy, sightseeing areas, liberty bridge, Danube, etc. The hotel's Red Restaurant has beautiful food and we dined on 3 evening's & no faults whatsoever. Reception staff very helpful in printing off maps and making recommendations for places to eat or visit. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.. Loved my stay here.

Nicely located, comfortable place with poor customer service, esp. during breakfast. If you don't mind feeling like an intruder who disturbs the peace of staff, I'd recommend the place - it's just a matter of right expectations.

The first day we asked for cafe latte to breakfast & the waitress said we could take the coffee from thermos & add milk - it would be the same. She didn't even suggest it's not included (we were happy to pay extra) - it seemed like she didn't like being bothered. Starbucks was a good substitute, though.

Behagelig hotel i roligt kvarter.

Et hyggeligt hotel ikke langt fra midt byen, metro station lige i nærheden, så nemt at komme til midt byen. Personalet var meget venlige og der var rent på værelset, der var et lille køleskab, hvilket var et stort plus, god seng og der stod hver dag en ny stor flaske vand. Morgenmaden var ikke helt i topklasse, men der var det der skulle være og lagde en god bund. Absolut et hotel der kan anbefales også ligger det i et meget roligt kvarter. Tak for 3 behagelig overnatninger.

Pone que es cuatro estrellas pero no llegaría a 3 en España. La limpieza deja bastante que desear. Cama algo dura (aunque para mi bien). Desayuno escaso en variedad pero pasar unos días bien. El aire acondicionado bien. Cortinas que te quitan la luz, tiene frigorífico (con congelador) y microondas y te dejan una botella de agua cada vez que hacen la habitación.Baño para reformar.
La zona es tranquila aunque falta iluminación en la calle. Está algo lejos del centro pero tienes a 50 metros el metro línea 2 que te deja en 10 minutos en el centro.

시내 주택가에 있는 조용한 호텔입니다.
3인실을 예약하여 방 2개로 이루어진 객실을 예약하였습니다.
실내 지하 주차장이 있어 넉넉하였으며, 입 출고가 자유로웠습니다.
다만 아침 식사가 보통수준이었으며, 좀 더 보완해 주길 바랍니다.

Es hat uns gut gefallen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden auf jeden Fall übertroffen.
Check in sowie Check out sehr unkompliziert. Nettes Personal.
Die Zimmer wurden täglich aufgeräumt auch über die Feiertage.
Das frühstück hat uns nicht so sehr gefallen es war keine große Auswahl jedoch hat es gereicht.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe
Metro 1 Minute zu Fuß erreichbar und nur 4 Stationen bis zum Zentrum. In der Nähe ist wohl ein Krankenhaus so hört man auch abends laut die Sirenen der Krankenwägen
Ich würde es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen
