Great place to stay, wonderful people

Zoltan and everyone were fabulous. Wonderful apartment at good location and great for families. Gave great information and really care. We have Hungarian family and will stay here again!

Apparent is in an old building so as is expected it needs some updates. However it was clean which makes a difference. The issue was with the air conditioner that wasn’t cooling, the fan was on but there wasn’t any cold air. Also, hot water is limited. After my kids took a shower me and my husband were left with luke warm, almost cold water. Nice and available owner.

Arrived to check in at 3pm. Stood outside buzzing the reception for 10 minutes with no answer . Had to call the hotel before they eventually came to let us in.
No lift so had to carry my pram up and down the stairs with bags and a 3 year old.
Mould on toilet ceiling and overall poor condition

This was not what we expected from the booking website and were not comfortable at all. The room was not even big enough to swing a dead cat. It’s a shame because the guy running it was very good and friendly, and even picked us up from the airport. We left the next morning to go to a different hotel in the city.

Ok for a night stay

Good service, helped us check in and guided on what to so. Platform bed was in bad condition with rails falling. Overall, just a night stay is ok. It had common kitchen, so not what I wanted. Bathroom was in the room, but smelly. Room was OK. Not worth what I paid, but none other was available either at that time for cheaper price.

Would not recommend

Host was friendly but property was in a bad condition not maintained at all, it was filthy. Shower door wouldn’t close. Toilet seat was all stained looked dirty. We didn’t get a wifi password either although it says on the booking free wifi.
I suppose it’s good for guys that are on a stag doo not caring about the environment. Going there with my girlfriend we could’ve found a better place to stay. Don’t get mistaken by the nice pictures.

The location is near public transport, restaurants and shopping which is very good.
At check in the receptionist couldn’t get his charge machine to work so I waited 15 minutes until he was able to have someone troubleshoot with him over the phone. The room had no amenities like shampoo or body wash. It barely had old, stained towels to dry yourself with. The room was extremely old, one of the heaters didn’t work and the other barely gave any heat so it was quite cold in the room. One window wouldn’t open as it was broken but the window shade did open, however the other window did fully open but the window shade on that window was broken so it wouldn’t lift.
As I was opening the door of the apartment to exit, the handle came off so I just put it back on. It came off each time I turned and pulled to open or close the door.
The staircase on the way up to the room is extremely filthy, it looks like a construction site. I don’t know what else to say. I guess you get what you pay for lol

It was okay

It was clean and very convenient area! Also receptionists are very kind.
But we could hear next room...... kids, pulling the chairs so loud. Also main bed’s mattress was sinking in the middle so it wasn’t comfortable. And shower door was broken. It wasn’t impressed.

Overall a great trip to Budapest. The location of the apartment was good as very close to public transport and easy to get around. however the room we stayed in did look quite a lot different to the photos on the website. We thought it would be more spacious and more of an apartment type style, but it was a small room with a tiny bathroom and the shower was not the best - the door wouldn’t shut so it was a permanent wet room. Beds were comfortable and most of the staff were helpful. Could have done with a full length mirror and bigger towels but for a long weekend was ok.

Great experience overall. A room in a great location in the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was in good condition and clean except for one bedsheet, which was replaced for a clean one without problems. Great experience. Recommended.

The room is spacious, and amenities are decent. The hostel is conveniently located near a metro and a tram stop. There are a few eateries and convenience stores nearby, and the commute to Keleti or Nyugati stations are quick. However, it is not a very active place. I stayed 4 N and I did not even see a fourth guest. Maintenance was iffy - they cleaned the trash bin in my room on the third day. Overall though, a convenient, quiet and value accommodation.

A lovely calm and quite stay

If you want a good night's sleep in a more quite and calm place, I'll recommend Corvin Point. The Corvin district is worthwhile to check out, and it's just a short walk to many famous spots. I was welcomed in a really good way by the owner, and given some good tips and hints. The room was nice and I slept well there. The checkout was also nice, and I could store my luggage while I was visiting the Hungarian National Museum. Thank you all. I'll be back.

Very basic room, nothing like in the picture. It has very good access to public transportation to the airport. Extremely poor quality towel in the bathroom, needs special exercise to reach the towlet paper.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room I stayed in was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The location puts you a short walking distance to the Corvin Plaza Shopping Mall, train and light rail and restaurants. It was a bit hard to find as there was no signage but Zoltan emailed me extra information which came in handy and Ester provided me with great assistance with ongoing travel arrangements and what to not miss in Budapest.

Wifi THE WORST I have ever used!

The staff was perfect. The room was perfect. Unfortunately I was on business and badly needed internet. I can't beleive that in 2017 this place could not provide decent internet service; I would have gladly paid an extra 5-10 euros a night extra for good internet. It was BY FAR the worst internet I have ever used in Budapest: slow connection, cutting off every 5 minutes, and hard to get back on the network. I will never stay there on business again. Also the kitchen was OK, but was lacking. For example I wanted to cook a meal but there was only one frying pan, and it was being used. So I had to wait until the person using it finished.

Hotel is right next to tram and trainlines.staff very helpful.we had to leave at 3.30in the morning and staff phoned a taxi for us and checked it came.would definitely recommend this hotel. Good air conditioning as well.

Very comfortable stay for one night, and very friendly staff.
The area wasn't great for two young women arriving at night (there are a lot of bars and clubs around) but we had no real issues. Several restaurants in close proximity and the staff was more than willing to help us find them even though we'd arrived very late!

Close to Metro, but...

The room I was first assigned to did not look like the picture advertised, it was dark and cave-like. Staff transferred me to a different room that had better lighting, but near the street (noisier). The room was still not well maintained (curtains drooping, old furniture, wall etc) and definitely not clean (old stains on comforter, pillow that should be thrown away). I also complained about finding a few ants in the room, bathroom and asked for the room to be cleaned. Apparently, they only clean every other day. Staff said they will, but that did not happen until I followed up again the next day. Also, the reception was not open 24 hours as advertised. There is a number that they leave to call on emergencies. Weekend staff was helpful though with directions to the airport.

The hotel was close to a good coffee shop and the metro as well as the tram to go to the City Centre. It also had a bigger refrigerator that came in handy. However, for the price I paid, I expected clean, updated rooms as in the picture advertised. The earlier reviews were somewhat misleading as it said it had been recently renovated. Maybe this was for their other apartments, but not for the room I had.

I have stayed here before and found the place to be much cleaner! It was so dirty this time that I did email the manager, but he ignored me. Never mind. There was something disgusting in the shower on my 2nd day of stay, it was still there 3 days later, the kitchen floor was never cleaned and the kitchen despite been a new expensive kitchen overall felt dirty and grimy, dirt in the corner of the floor stayed for days on end. This place needs a new better cleaner, shame.

1. There is NO INDOOR POOL - there is a gym and pool5 mins walk away, which you can use, it is 2000HUF to use the gym. It is however a very nice gym and indoor pool.
2. AC costs a extra 1000HUF per night.
3. There is no TV in the common areas, just in one of the two rooms we stayed in.
4. The door to the hostel flat does not lock, the door to the floor of the hostel does not lock.
5. The main door to the building does lock and so did the did the locks on the doors of our rooms.
6. The staff are very nice and helpful.
7. The place is fairly clean for a hostel.
8 it is very central, very good location - great for a lads weekend away.
9. The showers are very good.
10. The beds are very comfy.
11. You can rent bikes cheap here.
12. It costs 1500 huf to use the washing machine.
13. The bunk beds are very well designed and don't creak or squeak.
14. Big fridge to keep beer in.

The Corvin point hostel staff were wonderful and the room was a beautiful, spacious and clean apartment with a kitchen and lounge room. The location was great and only a minute walk to the train station and tram. I would recommend to anyone!

Adequate for the price you pay.

I was a bit dissapointed with the accomadation although for the price it is adequate. I booked a four people sharing but was lucky enough to have the dorm room to myself. You had to go through the kitchen though to the shower and toilets they were not near the room so it was inconvenient. The hostel is down a side street not easy to find as there is no sign outside so had a bit of difficulty to find it and there are only steps to the rooms no lift. However it is fairly near to the underground

Really good stay, very friendly staff, good accommodation, could not fault it really. In a good location too in between Tram lines so that you can get to most of the tourist sights and minutes walk from the Metro too. Could not fault it for the price.

Great family run hostel in a Great position

I stayed in room 12 which was very comfortable for 5 nights as it was one of the largest rooms they had with a double bed and bunk beds. Room had 2 huge windows looking out onto the street as room was on the first floor also had 2 large wall heaters it is an extra cost if you want to use the aircon. I did not worry
as I was there when cold. the shower did not have a screen so water did go onto the bathroom floor but managable as it was mainly the spray. The rooms have been renovated so nice and clean/fresh with a bar fridge which was handy. They do have a kitchen with cooking facilities and they are in the process of opening up a breakfast room so at the present time they are in co struction of the basement but should be finished very soon as concrete was going in yesterday. The brothers on the front desk were so helpful they made my stay even better, a family run hostel and one that cares. Thankyou to you both you are a credit to your family. I would definately recommend this hostel.

Great location

If you are looking for basic accommodation in a great location then this is it! I just needed a bed ina clean place for a few days in close proximity to public transportation and this was spot on!

On top of that all the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good showers with warm water.

Está ubicado relativamente cerca al centro, el cuarto es oscuro, pero muy fresco, tiene buenas luces para compensar lo oscuro. Bastante bueno para ir en verano. El edificio donde queda no es tan bonito, pero el personal a cargo, es muy amable y servicial. El cuarto está muy bien equipado, y el precio es justo por lo que viene en el apartamento.

They could definitely do small upgrades that could make the room look 100 times better, like buy new pillows, fix the curtains, but the beds are very comfortable even if they squick. Also the AC in the room made the whole experience better. The receptionist was so friendly and funny, such a sweetheart, very eager to help. There is a mini fridge and a tv in the room as well. For the price of the place i recommend.

Il personale è stato gentile e ci ha descritto i posti più belli, ma la stanza era abbastanza malandata, gli infissi non chiudevano bene, quindi entrava luce, aria fredda e soprattutto rumore, i vicini facevano rumore in piena notte,mancava l'asciugacapelli ed era presente solo un sapone liquido per tutto, la doccia era anche molto scomoda,le condizioni dell'esterno sono disastrose e all' ingresso c'erano persone che rovistavano nei rifiuti

A week after staying at the hotel we began to feel the bites. I have reached out to them, but to no avail.

It is one thing to have bed bugs but quite another to ignore us after politely telling them so. The amount of bites i have on my body (as well as the others in two separate beds) indicates a huge infestation and I am unsure that the hotel is still putting people at risk. I sincerely do not reccomend.

They were friendly in the reception though.

Eine der unangenehmsten Erfahrungen in Bezug auf Hotels, vor allem in Anbetracht des gezahlten Preises.
So runtergekommen, dreckig, unsicher.
Wir haben drei Nächte bezahlt aber sind nur eine Nächt geblieben. Ich wollte nicht, dass meine Familie noch eine Nacht an diesem Ort bleibt.
