Great stay at the Bo18 hotel in Budapest. Very friendly and helpful staff morning and night, clean rooms and functional bathrooms with good showers. The breakfast was wonderful with great options, including scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, veggie and fruit options, yogurt, multiple bread and pastry offerings and several coffee/tea choices. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic birthday weekend
Visited Budapest for the first time to celebrate my birthday, the staff at reception made me feel welcome and were respectfull, i was given a birthday cake and glass of champagne on the day. Bedroom was spacious, good amenties, it all about the detail. The water in the shower was not very hot during my stay, i attemped to have a bath but the water didnt stay hot for long so was not relaxing, i didnt like the fact that 2 twin beds were pushed together to make a double and instead of having a double duvet it was 2 individual duvet for twin bed this kind of defeats the point having a larger bed, if your restricted to using only one side of the bed. I asked about this at reception and was told all the beds were the same.

This is a good hotel in the middle of south Budapest. It is very difficult to find parking there but this hotel has a parking only 2 min. walk away for low cost. It was nice. From outside, it looks like a very small hotel, but inside was very roomy and comfy. Breakfast was great.

Was a family trip with my sister and daughter. Check was a quick and they were very helpful with our questions. They charged me an extra night which I had called and cancelled through hotels.com They said it's hotels.com's and expedia's fault and they can't do anything to help me. 5 couples had 5 day stay to explore Budapest on a city break. The location was ok and if you are happy with a 20 minute walk into the centre then it’s fine. Staff excellent. Very friendly and could not do enough for us plus enjoyed a bit of banter with us on evenings we were having a few drinks in hotel. Birthday cake was delivered at breakfast with happy birthday song played to all in restaurant which gave us all a laugh. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend.

The Bo18 Hotel is perfect for a sightseeing trip to Budapest. It is only about 30 minutes walk to the centre of the city and there is a metro station about 5 minutes walk away. There is also a shopping mall a few minutes away with a supermarket, which was useful for picking up lunch snacks.
The hotel and bedrooms are spotless and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast had a good range of food - breads, cereals, pastries, eggs etc.
The only negative I have is that you have to pay for tea and milk in the bedroom, which was odd as you can pop down to reception and make yourself a drink there.
If I was to return to Budapest I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice staff and comfortable room. Situated near the railway station and only 3 stops to central Budapest. Once you understand the way the ticket machines work, easy to get into central Budapest Local shopping centre just a hundred yards away with plenty of eating places. Trams into the city on the main road are also very close. Breakfast was OK but no ambience in the dining room. More like a supermarket. Enjoyed my stay (6 nights).

Wonderful stay at Bo18 Hotel
We had an excellent time in Budapest. The hotel was great and the breakfast was varied and fresh. I enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi as well. The wi-fi was good in the rooms and lobby. Our room had everything we needed, shower pressure and hair dryer were good. The room was a little hot at times but a blast of -2C air from the window helped that. Andi who cleaned our room and made up our beds did an excellent job and left us candy canes on our pillows!

Pay a few more dollars for a better hotel
I have to say, the staff are EXCELLENT. Pleasant and very helpful. However, I wish I would have just paid a few more dollars to stay in a real hotel. I booked a double room and it was two twin sized beds pushed together. The blankets for the beds are so tiny that anytime you roll over half your body was uncovered. The thermostat didn't work so it was boiling hot in the room. Also, the bathroom towels are scratchy and over used. You can walk to a few areas of town, but there isn't much to offer right around the hotel. It was a little sketchy, as a solo traveler, walking down the street to the hotel at night.

Bo18 Superior is an excellent modern little hotel, with a 5-star staff and great breakfast. It is also near the center and within walking distance of mall and grocery shops. I had colleagues stay at larger hotels in Budapest that did not have air conditioning and had noisy rooms. At Bo18 is was quiet and had excellent air conditioning. The room was large, with classy touches (bath robe, slippers, USB chargers, large bathroom, minibar, etc). All the staff are very professional people and they keep this hotel in excellent conditions of cleanliness and comfort. Also, if you want to stay connected, they have very good WIFi and have tablets in the lobby for you, and power adapters if you need. The breakfast is really good.

Extremely friendly and accomodating staff . Nice welcoming area, family friendly. Room was not very spacious ,but neat and clean,very practical for an overnight stay. I used my Expedia points so the price was good , otherwise it would have been a bit pricy. Neighborhood is a bit \"gray looking\" , but hotel interior makes up for it. Same with the view,if it is important to you,you may want to look elsewhere. Streets are narrow and buildings are connected. One huge plus for a turist is a nearby shopping center Corvin plaza and mall, where you can buy whatever you forgot at home or eat in one of the many restaurants. Breakfast was included in the hotel and it was excellent!!!

I have stayed for five nights in this hotel, the service of the hotel staff is just amazing, they even helped me plan a car trip outside Budapest and assisting me in getting fast internet so I can get some work done during the vacation all of this with free drinks, coffee lemonade and even 2 glasses of wine. The breakfast is very rich and even includes chocolate fondue during the weekends. The hotel includes a small fitness center and spa that provided us comfort we have never saw in a 3 star hotel. if you're looking for an amazing stay in Budapest for a great price, book this hotel.

Pls do not get any massage at this hotel
First and foremost I wanted to thank all the staff has been helping but there a few things I wanted to say are why didn't the hotel warn the guest about taxi scam in Budapest during check in or just hand a taxi card not until what I told them and they say you should have call this taxi company.
And I did the massage at the hotel and pay 14000 ft for a 90 min and the room that look like a store room with somebody boots and blanket and some other thing was on the bench and basically the size of my hotel room bathroom size it was so stuffy inside I can't hardly breath one thing I wanna to add are the massage bed you can basically hear the squeaking sound and the music were anoying not the usual zen music . I just can't relax during my 90 mins so call Swedish massage

Well recommemded place to stay. Me and my boyfriend stayed at Bo18 for 4 nights. We got sent information prior to our trip on how to get to the hotel and various other bits. Really welcoming staff. Great location for us. Close to the corvin negyed metro station, 5 minutes walk. We felt it was a very young/studenty area, which was perfect for us. Bars and nice places to eat near by. The ruin bars are also very close, only 5 minutes in the taxi or two stops away on the tube. Breakfast was also very good! Small spa area for when you want to wind down, which was always quiet. Overall really impressed for the price we paid!

My daughter celebrated her 4th birthday while we were there and the staff surprised her with a lovely chocolate birthday cake at breakfast. The hotel is very clean with modern facilities. Breakfast selection was good. Not a lot in the immediate area but there are teams and a metro stop just down the street. Both are cheap and easy enough to use. The only slightly negative thing for us was there wasn't many plug sockets in the room, for charging gadgets. Not the end of the world though.

I stayed at the Bo18 Hotel for 6 nights. When I booked the hotel, I may have had a couple of reservations -- 3 star, location? After reading some reviews of the hotel, I went ahead and made the reservation. I could not have been more impressed. Listed as a three star -- I have stayed at many 4 star hotel that were less satisfying. There was not one item about the hotel that I had a problem with - from the moment I checked in until the minute I checked out, it was an excellent experience. The staff spoke excellent English -- it made life a lot easier for me. Greatly appreciated. Will stay at the Bo18 Hotel again on my next trip to Budapest. The hotel room rates were also unbelievable - great value. The hotel tea served in the lobby was a nice touch after touring sites on a cold, wet day. The highlight of my Budapest visit.

Bo18 was a perfect place to stay for short stay in Budpaest. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station, and the hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a standard room and experienced comfy beds and the option to spend time in the spa room with a jacuzzi and steam room. Would happily recommended this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was in a good location. 2 streets away from the metro. District 8 has a bad rep but we found it fine. The staff were so helpful. I would really recommend the Internet deal. €4 a day for a wireless device..great way to avoid roaming charges. No resturant but the front desk were able to recommend places for us. They also gave us an overview of things they would recommend in the city. Overall lovely experience & I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the Bo18 hotel for 4 nights in September. We had a great stay. The hotel is clean, updated and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We utilized their hotel/airport shuttle, and they were great at arranging it with us. The buffet breakfast has a lot of different options, maybe not exactly typical north american food, but that's great, they had lots of fresh food and we were happy with the available options. They are also located close to a shopping mall with a grocery store, so if you need something specific you can easily walk there to get a snack, or even eat at the food court. The room was pretty basic, but had everything we needed, and it even had a console with a 4 port USB charge, which was great for our gadgets and not having to use our adapter. The hotel staff was very friendly and always gave good advice on places to visit, or where to eat. It wasn't right in the city center but it was a short walk, maybe 10-15 mins. We would absolutely stay here if we ever came back to Budapest.

We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable place to base yourself for a weekend exploring Budapest. We received a warm welcome on arrival and our rooms were spacious and clean. We were celebrating my daughters 21st so the champagne available at breakfast got her day of to a good start and the surprise cake and fizzy wine in the room were much appreciated. The hot tub and sauna in the basement were a great way to rejuvenate after a busy day before heading out for dinner. The hotels location is a bit off the beaten track but only a 5 minute walk from the Metro and a 3 day travel pass only costs £10.
