The location was easy to find, close the the Metro and there was a Spar & Tesco within a 2min walk.
I was on the ground floor and there was a bit of noise until around 11pm as people were coming and going to the study rooms, but no noise from outside.
Overall a good stay, breakfast was fine and had everything need, plus there were a couple of good restaurants locally.

This was an okay stay. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The room was an okay size and the bed was comfy, however, we found it incredibly difficult to sleep as we had booked a double room but were given 2 small single duvet covers and so we couldn't share a cover and our legs kept coming out throughout the night etc. and you only got one tiny pillow each and so I had to go and ask for another. The big fridge was a great addition to the room however it made loads of loud noises in the night which woke us up. Other than this it was okay. Our Safe was tiny and couldn’t fit in a standard IPad which wasn't great and it didn’t work to begin with so we had to call reception for help. Overall it was a budget friendly stay, if they sort those minor issues then it would get a 5* rating from me.
It was a 2 minute walk from the underground which was the easiest way of getting around. There were a couple of small shops nearby for essentials too.

A nice basic property near to the university. Not much to do in the area but very close to the metro where you are only a few stops to the centre of Budapest. The hotel was a very solid choice as a base to visit to the city.

The staff were wonderful, the studio was clean, and when I asked for a kettle and some pans they were placed in my room while I was out that day so I had them when I returned. I'd be more than happy to stay here again if/when I return to Budapest!

The hotel is shared with student accommodation as such the area is lively with students. The room is has the wear and tear you’d expect from that, so don’t expect it to be immaculate. It’s in a location which is easily accessible to a metro station and spar, but not particularly walking distance to downtown if that’s your goal.

The bathroom had limited space, shower head can only face one direction so water doesn’t go all over floor. Air conditioning doesn’t work well, takes hours to cool off room and can’t get it below 23c, room was clean as well as common areas.

A warm welcome and a fantastic place to stay for a city break on a budget, just a short metro ride from the centre. Cool and modern design, with comfy bedding in quiet rooms with really good facilities. Our rooms with a balcony were great, and included cooking facilities and cutlery. Good aircon.

This was great for the conference… especially if you want to feel like you were in college again…zero space for anything including the occupants. The bed was jammed into the end of the room limiting access to the window, there was a refrigerator… towels were included but no wash clothes. There was a loft but it was honestly designed for a 10 year old and not an adult. The 3 adults in this room found it to be overly small despite the photos making it look a lot bigger. It was great to just sleep in but getting ready was not so convenient. We paid for the breakfast upgrade and honestly that was less than appealing. The food was the same everyday… cold eggs and danishes. The orange juice ran out and was coming out diluted and when I reported it to the staff she said “that is the way it is supposed to be” like I have never drank orange juice ever… nor the morning before. All in all you get what you pay for so next time I will opt for comfort over convenience.

Stayed for four nights and was very nice. The hotel is very close to Metro line 2. The bathroom was mostly clean, found a few strands of long hair on the floor and towels (I have short hair). The bed was pretty comfortable. The fridge and plates provided were very convenient.

The hotel is very nice and conveniently located close to a subway station, with three grocery stores nearby. The breakfast is decent and offers enough variety to start the day.
One thing I found a bit unusual was the absence of a TV in the room. While it wasn't a major issue, it did feel a little awkward at first.

Extremely thought through hotel. The room was like a small apartment with a small kitchen. Very friendly staff. Nice size gym. Good breakfast (there were doughnuts), Huge lounge with a biljard table. Lovely roof terrace where you could bring your own food and drink. It looked like they were building a bar. Convenience store right next door. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. A 30 minute walk to the city center. Would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Budapest.

It’s in a good location with easy access to the metro about 3 minutes walk. The room was clean and quite spacious.
The only negatives is that the single beds were very small, it was noisy and there were no blackout curtains so had a lot of light through the window. Otherwise it was not too bad for 3 nights.

Dean’s Home Budapest was an overall good experience. Visiting from U.S., we were hotel patrons (not students - as this can second as student housing, I think). We stayed over Xmas & left just prior to New Year’s. Sadly, all businesses in the area were closed 12/25 &12/26 (holiday) & Sundays. There were 2 convenience stores, Spar & Penny, next door to the hotel which, would have been fantastic if they were open thru the holiday. (Not the hotel’s fault of course). We ate DAILY at Crazy Dean’s restaurant (part of hotel). This restaurant alone made our stay worth it! The buffet style food was delicious, reasonably priced, & staff was pleasant. (Cost: 11€/day or pay in advance for 9€). For us, with so many businesses closed, this was open & wonderful to have access to for breakfast.

In a great location, right by the metro which made getting around Budapest so easy! The room itself was so cool with the stairs up to another bed and we were so grateful for the fridge and kettle! It was nice and quiet every night, no issues. We used our hotel towels at the thermal spa, they did not dry quickly so I asked at reception and they gave me fresh towels no problem. Lovely staff, great location, great price.

I have mobility problems, why on Earth you did not explicitly say on the app that the single bed is up in a loft? And the are very weird cubes to climb instead of stairs?

Overall I really liked this property. Very nice room with a small kitchen and 2 grocery stores right at the property. The only downside was it’s about a 40 mins walk into the centre. This is totally manageable, but I was there went it was extremely hot which made it harder. The M3 metro line is right across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

They upgraded my room but the floor was super dirty and seemed never ever been mopped. It was still dirty after 2 days of housekeeping- they only changed towels and made the bed but didn’t change the bedding either. We stayed 4 nights and were upset about it. AND there was no hot water in the first two days, only slightly warm. I thought it was normal in this hotel but after my feedback, the water became super hot. Maybe there was a switch they forgot to turn on?

Apartments had what we needed, the breakfast at Crazy Dean's was very good and the fact you can help yourself is makes it great value for money. The only room for improvement is the door to the bathrooms doesnt close fully at all, the skirting board stops the sliding door from closing all the way which leaves a 2cm gap so going to the toilet is a shared experience.

From Deans College Hotel to the Metro station was 5 mins walk which was great! Unfortunately, there was nothing open late to eat (restaurants) I would recommend walking around as there is a near by Aldi to do your shopping and if you like still water is a pink lid and not fizzy water is the blue lid. Overall would recommend and would stay again!
