Fantastic hotel and great value. Very close to financial district. Short stroll from the river and walk into Budapest. Rooms spotless, breakfast excellent with a funky bicycle them running through the hotel. Staff very good - thanks to them for ordering me a taxi at 4am for my flight home! Will definitely use this hotel again.

The personnel is young and very friendly and helpful. Big variety of breakfast options: fresh bread, jams, veggies, yogurts, eggs, sausages, juices. The rooms make sense and very comfortable bedding and pillows, the only thing I did not like was the A/C was not strong enough to bring cold air or not working to full capacity.

Friendly and welcoming reception staff.
The room was nice, however we found it very noisy. We could hear the traffic noise from the busy road and our neighbors who were talking late into the night kept us awake. The hotel management advised that we could have asked for a different room, however we were tired and were not in the mood to change rooms at 2 in the morning. The room itself was clean except for the bathroom, the tiles by the sink had stains left by previous guest.

hotel just by the danube .good continental breakfast ,very helpful staff ,hotel needs a bit of tlc ,carpets need a good clean and they use mattress protectors with a plastic on 1 side ,couldn't understand why I was so hot dispite the aircon ,comfy beds but no kettle in room but there is a coffee machine in the lobby 24hs plus cold water this is free of charge ,

Location - not the city center but just across one major station Boraros. The tram to Keleti is just 9 min walk.

Room - we had the view of Citadella and Danube, this is a plus. Room is enough for two. But what I like most is it's clean!

Food - breakfast selection is almost same throughout our 4 night stay. But there's a lot, so you can have different choices. There's also free water and coffee all day.

Staff - all were ok. No highlights good or bad

Good hotel

The hotel is nice the room was very warm though and couldn’t get the air con working. The room was clean, breakfast was ok. The location is ok it’s not in the city center but there is a tram stop over the road that takes you straight there and it only cost 90p for a single ticket. Staff were helpful and friendly.

It's a fair walk to the centre,if you want too. But outside, buses and trams stop. But do walk it, it's a lovely way to see everything and the locals. The staff in the hotel were very helpful when we asked them. The room was very clean and tidy. The only problem was the room got very hot even though we changed it to cool, and it kept switching on every hour during the night. No tea/coffee machine in room only in lobby, which I personnel missed. Breakfast was lovely,pasties,cereals etc.very good for the price

I have stayed at this hotel many times before. I needed a change to my booking, but because of booking through Expedia, I was penalised and I feel this is both unfair and also not highlighting a great customer service.
I will take my business somewhere else in future which is a real pity. I liked the hotel and the female receptionist was worth the trip alone.

I have stayed here 4 or 5 times. 4 out of 5 I have a got a room with a lovely view over the Danube. One stay I had a view over the carpark/rear courtyard. I think they should differentiate at time of ordering, what room you would want, and probably discount the rear facing rooms.

Nice and cosy hotel for a city break

Room was clean and cosy with really comfortable beds! Had a great view from the balcony overlooking the river Danube. Loads of power sockets to recharge your electricals (no less than six!). The hotel interior has a bicycle theme which is evident throughout the hotel including the rooms, quirky decoration but tasteful all the same. You just get that warm feeling every time you walk into the hotel and to your room. Complimentary tea and coffee available in the lobby. The breakfast was good with a variety of food choices, mainly continental. There was some hot food which was OK. The breakfast area did get rather crowded at times. The hotel is a little bit out of the city centre (about 15 minutes walk) but the public transport is so good, tram number 2 which stops near the hotel (head towards the river bank) will get you there in a flash and runs right along the Pest embankment. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel for your Budapest trip.

One of the best hotels I've been in the past 5 yrs

It definitely deservers more stars than it has. I would start with the breakfast what is not a dull selection of cereals but has many choices of fruits, vegetables, hot food and cold cuts. More importantly some of the food are rotated so if someone stays for more than one day doesn't get bored of getting the same egg and cereals every morning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The interior design is very ingenious and nice from the reception through breakfast to the rooms.

Really great place--makes me want to get a bicycle

Really great place. It has a bicycling theme everywhere--in the lobby, in the breakfast room, in the lamp fixtures and painted on the walls--but it's not unpleasant. Even on the ceiling above the bed: a simple bicycle wheel with a motto to help you get up and get moving!

Even without this, it is a really good hotel, with a great staff!

there are several points that make the stay pleasant. the beds are good,the rooms quiet,always slept very well. i appreciate the free tea,coffee and water in the lobby and think more hotels should have this. the breakfast was ok (i would like less artificial juice and more cheese but it us nit a five star place:). the staff was great on my last day, less great on the day before(my room vard was not workung and before that i discovered the safe was not closing properly.in both cases the staff tried to blame me -for not using the safe the right way or varrying the room key too close to my phone)-this i did not like, and would appreciate a kind attitude if not an apology. my colleagues have had no problems at all so i would say ut was ok as a whole.overall it was good,the place is near the centre and you can have a really nice walk along the river in the evening.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was really good and they managed to do a great job. Despite Hungarians being not too friendly towards people who look different, the hotel staff was really nice!

We had a 3 night break to do some Christmas shopping and enjoy some local food and drink. Everything went really smoothly, particularly at the hotel. It was well placed to walk (or for local transport) into the city. The check in was quick and uncomplicated and the standard of accommodation was very good...fresh and clean . OK so some elements were basic but it was excellent value for money for a short break with no pretentions. I'm delighted with our choice of accommodation

The rooms have air con, however we found the room to be quite warm and stuffy as the aircon is centrally controlled by the hotel. We stayed in September which is cold for the locals, however as we are from Scotland we found it to be quite warm and would have really appreciated a cool room.

Das Zimmer war sauber, allerdings roch es im Bad nach Urin. Es ist auch sehr spartanisch eingerichtet mit veralteter Technik. Vorallem aber sind die Fenster undicht gewesen und überhaupt nicht schallisolierend. Man hört andauernd den Lärm der Sirenen wie als ob das Fahrzeug durchs Zimmer fährt. Der Aufzug hatte auch Probleme gemacht, so dass wir Angst hatten, dass dieser gleich Stecken bleibt. Zuletzt das Frühstück. Das ist wirklich sehr traurig. Es gibt nahezu keine Auswahl und schmecken tat ehrlicherweise auch nichts. Dazu sind die Mitarbeiter auch ziemlich demotiviert und überfordert. Aufgefüllt wird auch nur nach Lust und Laune. Der Parkbereich ist übrigens super eng und Fahrzeuge werden teilweise durch die eigenen Mitarbeiter zugeparkt. Würde versuchen wo anders zu parken.

Fazit: Wer möglichst günstig und ohne große Ansprüche ein Zimmer sucht, kann hier fündig werden. Wer den Fokus auf Frühstück, Service und Komfort im Zimmer legt, der ist hier falsch. Da kenne ich deutlich bessere Ibis Hotels.

Smutsig heltäckningsmatta och en hög med bitar av lösögonfransar under spegeln. Mycket hög ljudnivå på fläktsystemet. Måste ha den på annars för varmt. Svårt att få bord till frukosten. Hög ljudnivå, Personalen hann ej fylla på mat. Lång kö till den kaffemaskin som fungerade. Hög stressnivå. Lång väntan på att få en hiss. Kan ej rekommendera detta hotell.

Tilgjengelig plassert ved et stort knutepunkt, men hotellrommet var plaget med svært mange små fluer og andre insekter på sommeren. Fant blant annet en edderkopp, og vinduskarmen var daglig fylt med små «døgnfluer». Madrassen var ikke dekket med trekk, bare overmadrassen. Det er heller ingen kjøleskap på rommet. Sengene var små, men vi sov godt likevel. Frokosten var ikke verdt pengene.

Sehr gutes, modernes Hotel in guter Lage. Bus und Straßenbahn sind fußläufig erreichbar. Stets freundliches Personal mit guten Tipps. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auch hier war das Personal sofort zur Stelle um nachzufüllen oder abzuräumen. Das Zimmer war ruhig (Richtung Garten gelegen), sauber und mit allem nötigen eingerichtet. Wenn ich wieder nach Budapest reise, werde ich hier wieder einchecken.

Was will man für den Preis erwarten? Das einzige, was mir nicht gefallen hat, war der müffelnde Abfluss in der Dusche. Die Lage ist top, Bahn und Bus vor der Tür. 100 m zur Donau , ein Spar um die Ecke. Die Zimmer sind auch voll okay, ebenso wie das Frühstück.

The Reception asked me if I want a quiet Room facing in the Yard or a loud Room facing the Danube River. Took the loud Room, a bad Decision but a nice View. There is a six lane Street, a Central Bus Station and some Railroad tracks in Front of the Hotel. The Room was very small and older, but quite well maintained. Breakfast was OK.
