The male receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. Almost threw my phone back at me after fixing a problem that he had caused. Then told us there were restaurants 200 metres away. One was spud-u-like (or similar) the other was in the rugby stadium. Internet connection didn’t work as intended nor did lift security. Breakfast was very limited - if things ran out they didn’t replace them, and the server started clearing things away half an hour before finishing time. We had stayed at campanile in Le Mans the night before - great experience there, very different to what we experienced in Clermont.

Dirty, peanuts and dust on the floor, broken window did not lock kept opening, tiny pillows, usb charging sockets did not work. Very basic breakfast. Nothing around the hotel. Huge traffic jam every morning and evening right in front of hotel leaving tram the only reasonable option to get to town.

The hotel is new . Everything was new . Very clean. Staff were very good & helpful. The only downside was the menu . The food was good but I did not want a burger . I was look forward to some French food . Breakfast was excellent. I would stay there again but go to a restaurant to eat .

Very happy with my first Campanile stay
This was my first stay at a Campanile hotel and it was a good experience. The particular unit I stayed in was compact, but well laid out, and very functional for what I needed. The hotel seems to be quite new and is in very good condition. The room was very clean and the staff welcoming when I arrived. There was a terrace available on the main floor which I found useful. I Have since stayed at another Campanile and I was also content with that hotel as well.

Great for watching Rugby
Four of us went to watch rugby.The Hotel is literally across the road from the stadium. Rooms were very clean and quite spacious with twin beds. The breakfast was fresh and on a help yourself basis and good value. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the underground car park provided by the hotel for Euro 8 a day. There is a tram service opposite the hotel that can take you into the city centre or it is a 25 minute walk. We will definitely use this hotel again if Bath Rugby play Clermont Ferrand again.

The hotel is easy to find. There is lots of parking around the area.
The hotel is a 30 minute walk from the centre. However the tram system runs past the hotel. Catch the red line from the stadium( this is a few minutes walk) and for about 1 Euro 60 you can get directly to the canter of town.

A fairly basic average Campanile; nothing much to distinguish it (positively or negatively) from many others. Reasonable price, basic facilities; Pretty much what was expected. Staff were friendly and although they told me there was a charge for parking, this was waived immediately I said I understood it was free (underground car park was a nice touch, and felt very secure) Food in the bar wasn’t wildly exciting (pizzas, burgers...) but it was quite tasty and reasonably priced.

Séjour effectué pendant une période de travaux, ce qui n’a toutefois pas impacté la qualité de la chambre. Celle-ci était impeccable, spacieuse et très confortable. Pour 55 €, le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, probablement l’un des meilleurs que j’ai pu avoir.
Seul bémol : le parking intérieur est proposé en supplément (10 €). Néanmoins, il est possible de stationner gratuitement devant l’hôtel entre 19h et 9h, ce qui constitue une alternative appréciable.

L’établissement était en travaux, avec des fuites d’eau à plusieurs endroits. La chambre ainsi que les parties communes sentaient fortement la friture. Lorsque j’en ai parlé au réceptionniste, il m’a répondu : « Peut-être que vous avez un odorat très développé. »
Pour couronner le tout, l’eau a été coupée à 9h du matin. Aucune de ces informations ne nous a été communiquée avant l’arrivée.

Séjour convenable : un peu déçue car ayant déjà séjourné là et mieux. Un lot de serviettes pour 2 personnes annoncées : j'ai du m'essuyer avec la serviette mouillée de mon mari. Des tâches partout sur la moquette dans la chambre. Les oreillers commencent à prendre de l'âge ils sont plats. Pas de lait végétal ou délactosé au petit-déjeuner: en général il y en a dans tous les hôtels. Tout le monde n'a pas la chance de tolérer le lait de vache. Donc au final déçue...
