The hotel was excellent value - i upgraded to the Cabrio for €5 which has ensuite bathroom. The room was clean and functional; the free wifi and parking were welcome benefits. Staff was helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.

Reception staff were friendly and some could speak spanish or english, which was very helpful. The room though, despite the covid cleaning procedures they mention, the floor hadn’t been cleaned before we checked in. The pillows were also very bad. Given the price of the hotel, I wasn’t too disappointed but could have done with a bit more cleaning and a better pillows.

You get what you pay for
Overall, not that bad. Friendly, helpful staff and it is clean. But shared bathroom, you have to make you own bed and still pay around 30 pounds is a bit hefty but cheapest in the region if you don't want to go into a hostel. Plus consider that it is on the outer fringe of Clermont. They have other options of rooms with private bathroom which are probably a much better option.

Stay away we arrived lady on reception said we couldn't have room code and she would have to keep opening our door there's no toilet or shower in room just a hard bed dirty linen and dirty sink in corner of room we were very tired when we arrived after driving half way through France got 3 hours sleep and left to book else where doors banging couldn't open window in room was boiling hot I wouldn't let my animals sleep there let alone a human being and as we left reception lady was more bothered about drinking alcohol with the handy man would never ever stay In one of these hotels AGAIN

A very noisy experience. Someone was in hallway and restroom cleaning it, showering or both at 3am for an hour. Then shortly after a guy is heard vomiting in the restroom. In the room nextdoor you could hear someone peeing in the garbage bucket at 4am. At 9 am a kid across the hall thought running and screaming down the hall and in the room was appropriate to keep doing. While most nights before that were quiet, I was glad this night was my last as I booked a nicer hotel in the area, with bathrooms in the room. Pushing the shower button over and over to take a shower got old fast as did the board like matress.

For the price, I was happy. I had a sink in the room and corner desk for computer. The in room heater didn't work but the staff gave me a portable heater immediately. The breakfast was nice and light and only 3,50. The bed had clean sheets and felt a bit hard but overall I was happy with the above bunk, lighting and overall experience. Nice vending machines and always empty restrooms just down the hall made for bathroom sharing not bad at all, even at night.

I wouldn't choose to stay here again. It's fine if you're on a minimal budget but very inconvenient to most places except the airport and I found the staff significantly less helpful than other places I've stayed in France including Hostels.

Avant de commencer, je tiens à préciser que je n'ai rien contre l'Hôtel Formule 1, mais je suis mécontent du site hotels.com qui publie des informations mensongères sur l'hôtel.
Tout d'abord, les descriptions des chambres pour deux personnes sont inversées : la chambre Side-car correspond à deux lits simples et la chambre Tandem à un lit double, alors que sur le site, c'est l'inverse. Nous avons donc dû changer de chambre dès notre arrivée. Heureusement, la personne à l'accueil nous a gentiment donné une chambre Side-car à la place de la Tandem. Ensuite, le site indique qu'il y a un sèche-cheveux et des serviettes dans la salle de bain, ce qui n'est pas le cas. Le comble est que sur le site officiel de l'hôtel, il est bien mentionné que les serviettes ne sont pas fournies. Nous avons donc dû utiliser un vêtement pour nous laver le strict minimum.
Je ne recommande donc pas ce site et invite les personnes souhaitant réserver cet hôtel à le faire directement sur le site officiel.

Chambre réservée très tardivement mais disponible à mon arrivée sur Clermont ferrand. Parfaitement adaptée pour une nuit, bonne literie, calme, très bien dormi. Salle de bain petite mais fonctionnelle. Très appréciable de pouvoir charger son téléphone ou son ordinateur car il y a 2 ports à côté du lit. Seul petit bémol, il manque peut être un support pour poser son sac de voyage, mais n'étant de passage que pour une nuit, ce n'est pas bien grave.

Etape d'une nuit et ma foi on n'en attendait pas vraiment plus de la chaîne F1. L'accueil a été des plus approximatif voire familier : la dame qui accompagnait le jeune homme à la réception continuait à lui faire la conversation comme si nous n'étions pas là et avait une posture plutôt relax ce qui ne donnait pas une image professionnelle de prime abord. L' intérieur de l'hôtel en lui-même est plutôt propre, bien agencé avec une déco agréable. Arrivés à la chambre, une légère odeur de friture qui se retrouvait également sur les serviettes de toilette...Chambre très petite, sans aucun rangement pour ceux qui prévoiraient un plus long séjour, à peine la place de passer une fois que les valises étaient par terre. RDC vue sur le parking, sans rideau ou possibilité de laisser le store seulement à moitié ouvert... bonjour l'intimité. Il restait des petits graviers ou bouts de terre au sol, quelques toiles d'araignée dans certains coins. Les draps étaient définitivement tachés. La salle de bain (car nous avions payé un supplément pour ne pas \"profiter\" des cabines sanitaires mutualisées dans le couloir _ soit dit en passant je ne comprends pas qu'un hôtel quel qu'il soit propose encore ce genre de prestation)est exiguë, vous pouvez vous laver les mains tout en étant assis sur les toilettes, donc difficile de s'essuyer en sortant de la douche qui est correcte même si nous n'avions plus de savon dans le distributeur et que la température de l'eau n'est pas stable(brûlée à 2 reprises)

Une chambre payée mais finalement pas privatisée
Dérangement dans la nuit par le locataire précédent qui disait avoir laissé ses bagages dans la chambre . Plus jamais d’hôtel ACCOR, même si le prix est très correct ! Bien sûr, aucun moyen de joindre un responsable dans la nuit….ces hôtels Formule 1 ne sont finalement que des aires d’autoroute, mieux vaut dormir dans sa voiture.

il est regrettable que sur le site il est mentionné dans le descriptif : chambre avec douche privée !! ce qui n'était pas le cas - lorsque nous avons récupéré la chambre PAS DE DOUCHE PRIVEE !!, nous avons du ajouter 5 euros de plus pour avoir une douche privée c'est bien dommage. A la réception (personnes agréables) elles nous ont dit que c'était une erreur dans le site !!
