The room was clean, looks as pictured. Hotel and facilities are basic, a little off the main road but not bad if you're willing to walk. Staff is not very accommodating with late checkout. I asked for 2 hours, they weren't willing to give me even 30mins until I expressed I needed to shower for a 13 hour flight and charge my phone. This is despite arriving at 11pm. As someone in the hospitality industry, I understand the need for a turn around for incoming guests but like me, there are some who express they'll be checking in late and so there is some flexibility with cleaning time. Nonetheless, they were willing to store my bags

Property is tucked away in a small neighborhood but in a very close proximity to all the hubbub of Myeongdong! Super easy access to Shinsegae Department store, Lotte Department Store, Myeongdong shopping area, transit lines, and anywhere from there. The hotel was clean and neat albeit small, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is kind of far if you plan on taking the airport bus or train with luggage and it's on a slight incline uphill so be warned, this is not the best location if you travel heavy unless you come by taxi/van.

The location was great—very convenient for travelling around Myeongdong, Jongro, and Insadong. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they did a good job making the room clean every day. However, there was no amenity provided for showering (no shampoo or body wash). Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Hotel was on a small street but was easy to find. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest train station but accessible and near a few markets with restaurant options near by. It was a little odd that we were told that toilet paper had to be thrown in the trash can and not the toilet. This is new to us. They took out the trash daily which help with odor control. Rooms were small but everything worked and in good condition. The kids enjoyed their stay. The front desk was helpful and they also lent us some power outlet adaptors, which was a big help since we didn't have one.

The hotel was clean and big enough to fit 3 beds for 3 people with large luggages. The staffs are friendly and they provide room cleaning service everyday. The only downside is because it's near the namsan tower the location is pretty steep which will be hard for someone with older people. There's a convenient store 5 minutes away and also close to the station and bus stops.

Me and my friend really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It's in a great location, only a 5 minute walk from a subway station with simple routes to all the main areas of Seoul. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and our room was tidied and given fresh towels every day.I would highly recommend Namsan Hill Hotel to tourists who are looking for a budget-friendly place to stay but still want comfort and accessibility while they are exploring the city.

This was a perfectly adequate place but some basic amenities were lacking. I had to keep going downstairs for shampoo, conditioners and body wash, as well as coffee. There was one small coffee pot which was not put on until 8 am, bothersome for early risers.

The staff were helpful on the otherwise. I would probably stay there if the price dictates.

Everything was very convenient to this location and the taxi only cost 6-7,000 Won.

I have stayed at this hotel for two years in a room, coincidentally assigned to the same room each time, because it’s inexpensive, clean, and conveniently located near the subway, Seoul Station, restaurants, and Myeong-dong. The room is small but has the basic amenities needed for someone who doesn't spend much time indoors. I would recommend this hotel for its location and cleanliness.

The hotel is tucked away in an alley on a small hill. It’s not hard to walk up to but it would be with luggage so we Ubered to and from. Not much around the area for a tourist. Seems like an alley of local residents and shops which is fine if you prefer that. The train station is a 5 min walk and the tower is also walking distance. If you’re looking to stay near a night market and lots of nightlife and shopping, then this isn’t it but if you enjoy a quiet little modest yet clean hotel, then this is suitable.

This comfortable and charming little hotel provided a fantastic stay with its incredibly comfy bed and perfect location, just a short walk to Myeongdong and three different rail lines. The convenience of nearby bus stops and being just one stop from Seoul Station and the Airport rail made getting around a breeze. The area is vibrant, with plenty of restaurants and a 24-hour coin-operated laundry just a few minutes away. Although there's no coffee machine in the room, the common area has one, though it lacks cups for tea or coffee. Despite this minor issue, the lively surroundings and the nearby Lotte Resort made for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, and affordability!

Very comfortable, good value for money and close to the Sights and attractions of Myeondong and NamSan, both only a short walk away with the rest of the city easily reachable by metro. Even Seoul Station qas walkable from the hotel.

Lots of restuarants and convenience stores in the immediate vicinity with the night market and shopping streets of Myeondong a 5-10walk away.

The hotel was conveniently located and had plenty of good restaurants/shopping in walking distance. It is on top of a hill so it may be hard for those with large luggage. I did like how they hold your luggage up to 24 hours after I checked out. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest but aside from that everything was good considering the price.

If you are looking for a clean, affordable room within walking distance to Myeong-dong, this is a great option. The accommodations are basic, but clean and comfortable. This is just a fantastic hotel that caters to your very needs of a clean room and excellent staff. Mr Park at the front desk is an absolute diamond. He is so friendly and goes above and beyond. We also got to meet one the owners, who was a real pleasure to visit with. The house staff are amazing and also go the extra mile.

Nice budget friendly hotel. Room was reasonably appointed for the price. It was comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly and professional.

Make sure to bring your own toiletries as they only give you a single tiny bar of (ivory?) soap for the bathroom/shower: very drying to the skin. I'm eco-conscious so I always bring my own anyways and try not to use the hotel's. But this was the first time I saw nothing else: no shampoo/conditioner/lotion etc. Coffee bar in the lobby has only instant available with a hot water machine, but did have a small variety of options including one with coffee/milk and sugar pre-mixed.

Good Central Location - a little worn

A good 3 star hotel, that is walking distance to subway but we did find that it was a bit shabbier than the photos. Unfortunately we arrived late at night and with the hotel not easily found up back streets, we didn't find anywhere to eat that night. The rooms were clean but beds not so comfortable. Two of the rooms were very warm while the 3rd room was cold with no way of adjusting the temperature. There also was a slight peculiar smell to some of the rooms. If you're looking for a good no frills place to stay, this is perfectly fine however we'd been spoilt by stays at 4 star + hotels earlier in our travels.

The hotel was bit overpriced, no toothbrush provided, the power sockets were removed by the hotel, if you need to charge your phone or electric devices, you need ask front desk to get a external power plug. If you are looking for a hotel centrally located in Seoul. I recommend the Namsan Hill Hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very courteous. North Seoul Tower is a short trip from the hotel. Namsan Tower Cable Car is where you can purchase your tickets to take the cable car up to North Seoul Tower. There are multiple subway stations within walking distance from the hotel to get you to any destination quickly, in Seoul. There is a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, and shopping centers conveniently, located near the hotel.
