Enjoyable Stay. No Laundry Service on Premise

The staff was very professional and nice. They speak English well so communication was no issue. The hotel itself is really comfortable and generally well kept. The room did seem smaller than what it looked like in the photos, but still not that bad.

The only thing I would comment is that there is no laundry service on premises which the description on the website indicates. They will direct you to a Coin Laundry within a hostel that is 2 blocks south of the Hotel.

With that as an exception, being in Myeong-dong makes the stay great as you are located very conveniently to major attractions and neighborhoods. Would definitely stay again.

- Hotel is still running heater at end March. The room is warm and stuffy. Staff said open the small windows but the traffic noise downstairs is unbearable. It’s a suffering 5 days stay for us.

3 nights in Seoul

We stayed for three nights on a brief visit. The hotel is located by Myeongdong Station and the 6001 and 6015 Airport buses stop there. Room was small but adequate but we found it next to impossible to control the room temperature. Breakfast was interesting and tasty once we’d figured out how to use the tablet to order. As usual, the note about hanging up towels if you didn’t want them changed was ignored.

This hotel was very comfortable, clean, convenient and quiet. It was close to a lot of Myeongdong shopping so I could go back to my room frequently and drop off bags before going back out. It is also a great location for restaurants and steps away from a station and also the Airport Bus. Cleaning staff was great and lobby staff was very accommodating. I will stay again next time I am in Seoul.

I had a terrific stay in June last year - however, this stay in May 2019 was a bit of a disappointment.
Found biscuit crumbs on the table upon checking into the room. The air-conditioning cannot be controlled. Found the staff Ok with answering questions but far from being friendly.
Maybe its my 2nd time and I find the hotel, adequate. Location is still great though. :(

Hotel was located conveniently in Myeondong, and very near the subway. We managed to shop and drop off our stuff easily as it was just along the Main Street of Myeondong, near all the shops. There was no lack of restaurants and street food nearby as well. We booked the triple room and although it was small without much space for our luggage, it was still a cosy stay for 8 nights.

The location was excellent for everything especially the convenience of taking the limo bus 6015 to and from Incheon Airport, less than 5 mins walk from bus stop. If you take the train, you have to walk a fair and lug your luggages up the stairs. Every morning in the subway, we saw arriving travellers struggling with the luggages.
Our room was spacious enough especially the toilet and was so clean. There was lots of shelving space for us to put miscellaneous things. Only one minor issue is you have to ask for shower cap.
But I would book this hotel again.

It was a very good choice to stay at Days hotel which is conveniently located just steps away from Myeongdong Metro. We walked out to Myeongdong everyday to shop and eat and can get around everywhere easily. The hotel is clean and the reception staff is polite and helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I go to Seoul.

We stayed for 11 nights in this hotel which was very convenient for us to go around Myeongdong. It was very close to the Myeongdong train station exit 5 and all the street foods and shopping stores just around the corners of the hotel. The room was a bit tight for the 3 of us to move around but was not too bad. Just a few things to point out. The quilts can be seen with stains. There were times that the used cups were not replaced with clean ones. Overall, it was a good place to stay when visit Seoul.

Days Hotel is in the heart of Myeongdong

The Days Hotel at Myeongdong was an excellent. It is nested in the heart of Myeongdong and is easily accessible by the Incheon airport limousine bus (6015) and the subway. From the airport, get off at the myeongdong station stop and walk about 100m and hotel is there. The room is relatively small but it is ok for 1 person. There are many cafes, restaurants and shopping places around the hotel, very convenient. The staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful. They always greet me when I leave or return to the hotel. On the 11th floor of the hotel there is a nice garden with tables and chair. I great place for quiet moments if you don’t want to stay in the room. I’ve enjoyed my stay at the Days Hotel at Myeongdong and will recommend to anyone going to Seoul for the first time. Thanks to the staff for looking after me during my stay.

Perfect location

I wanted to stay in an area near the shopping street and Days Hotel offered me just that. Absolutely convenient and central. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The mattress could have been slightly better, as I could feel the springs when lying down. Aside from that, it was a positive experience.

Overal good hotel, small but good room.
Just some confusion over breakfast. The receptionist couldn’t make clear until what time the breakfast was served. He indicated 9 am but the hotel’s website 10am...
Also, because of the lack of people there wasn’t a buffet but the breakfast was served individually.
The staff is very friendly.

Good hotel, excellent location

Excellent location directly in Myeongdon, 30 seconds from the Myeongdong subway. Around the corner, you have the shopping and food streets, and you are 5-10 minutes walk from the Namdaemun Market. The airport bus leaves you 5 minutes from the hotel, just be aware that you have to cross the large Toegye-ro street.

Although the room was bit small, it was clean and confortable, with a mini-fridge, coffee, tea and safe-deposit box. The staff at the reception doesn't always speak English, but they are friendly. It is an excellent option for the paid price.

Staff were all friendly except for one who checked us in. He spoke mandarin to us because we were Asian. After finding out we don't actually speak Chinese his demeanor changed. probably shouldn't put him at the front desk.

Best hotel experience in Seoul

Its is my 2nd time at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very quiet, clean, in very good condition and beds are very comfortable. Complimentary water are provided daily and wifi very strong. Best of all is it's location. It's right in the heart of Myeongdong with only a few minutes walk to the shopping areas and train station. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Seoul.

Room is small but for the price I paid, it's fair. More importantly, the room is clean and modern/new. Comfortable stay for 3 nights. Conveniently located in Myeongdong so you can choose to go out for the day and do all your shopping at night before calling it a day in your hotel room. There's also a nice breakfast place called Issac Toast right downstairs if you're not going for the hotel breakfast. Highly Recommended!

Convenient Hotel but amenities can be improved

Days hotel is just a few minutes away from the main shopping area of Myeongdong. The airport transfer drop-off point is located nearby as well, which eliminates the problem of carrying luggage up flights of stairs from the MRT. The front desk staff is friendly as well.

However, the room that we are staying can be better enhanced. Room 908 have a faulty hair dryer that has a burnt smell after a few minutes of using. Additionally, while we note that Days Hotels are looking into an environmentally friendly concept, it appears that the housekeeping staff did not change our bedsheets for a fresh one even though we indicated that we want a change of bedsheets (by placing the tag on the bed).

There seems to be something wrong with the air-condition during the first 2 days of our stay and was told to open the windows for better ventilation. The problem has been rectified on the 3 days as the air-condition started working perfectly again.

The hotel is good in general, but I feel that some of the amenities can be better improved.

Busy and excellent location, right in the heart of the shopping district. Less than a minute walk to busy subway Myeongdong Station - exit number 5. There are several exits in one subway station and the exit number system will help guide you in the right direction. Subway system very efficient. Felt safe and people are generally polite. I like sleeping with window open for fresh air but the only drawback was traffic noise. Hotel room was clean and comfortable, equipped with a combination lock safe, mini fridge, kettle for complimentary coffee and tea everyday. I definitely recommend this hotel and would return for a second visit.

Great location (Myeondong) will save you a bit of travel money if taking taxis.. even for subway, it's close to alot of the major tourist spots so it will save time and money. Hotel staffs were all very friendly and helpful, if they didn't know the answer to your question, they quickly searched and found the answer for you. Room was bit small but clean. Washroom and shower was great. Only two elevators so sometimes the you may have to wait bit longer but that was pretty much the only thing I could say it could improve on.. which is pretty good overall.

Days hotel very convenient . Air port shuttle bus is around the corner . Make it easier to go air port direct instead of taking subway . Thus we save a lot on transportation . Just beside there is a sandwich shop which sell nice sandwiches / toast ... a lot food outlet I.e famous roast chicken and ginseng chicken soup , barbecue etc . Behind this hotel is shopping paradise . Near to namsam and Seoul tower attraction which is walking distance . I will definitely book this hotel in future . Room is clean , comfortable and toilet is big and good size .

The hotel is very convenient, surrounded by shopping area and near to underground. Room size is good for two persons. The only thing that bother me was the noise of the heater/water pipe. Although they changed my room, the noise was still the same but less noisy compare with the first room.

Everything was wonderful. The location is close to the subway and lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit small, but that was to be expected. It was still very comfortable and clean. One electrical outlet was even 110v so we could charge all of our gadgets without an adapter. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Days Hotel Myeongdong is located in a prime location just a block away from the Myeongdong subway station exit 5. The airport bus stop is just across the street as well. Walking distance to the heart of Myeongdong shopping. The room with the double bed is a bit on the small side, but it did the job. The room was very clean and came with an in-room safe, hair dryer, robes and slippers. The bathroom is spacious and the rainfall shower head was great. I would definitely stay here again.

It a nice and seems like new hotel just a few blocks away from Seoul Town Hall. The staff is nice but the rooms are really small ones as well as the bathrooms. Free wifi and the whole building is clean. there is a nice roof terrace with a nice view.
