El hotel es absolutamente perfecto, el equipo es muy atento y servicial. Además, las instalaciones son excelentes, la cama y la ducha son estupendas, el desayuno es espectacular y en todo momento están a disposición de los huéspedes. La ubicación también es excelente, está cerca de todo: tiendas, supermercados, y además hay metro y autobuses justo al lado, lo que facilita mucho la movilidad. Es perfecto. Lack of cooperation. I tried for three days before arrival to change my room from February 12-15, 2026, to March 12-15, 2026. Unfortunately, despite dozens of emails and a dozen or so phone calls, the pretense that it was from hotels.com was abhorrent. I lost 1,600 euros because no one was interested in changing my stay date. I was cheated by hotels.com. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I will never book through hotels.com again. Piotr

Great hotel with great location. I wish they would mention that their electric car recharging stations require the clients to bring in a home style cable as they only provided outlets. So the main reason of me booking the hotel was void. Many hotel even offer high speed charging stations like the AC hotel I am In right now in Zamora.

The staff that keeps the hotel shining and bright should be commended. Their work ethic is truly amazing. Anything that is requested is gotten immediately. The beds are comfortable and the coverlet adds an extra bonus. Some color in the rooms could be added to enhance the beauty of the living space. The breakfast staff are professional and extremely hard working. The choices of food options could be varied from day to day. The hotel is a little ways from the heart of the city but you can walk or take public transportation. The area of concern that we experienced was with the receptionists. The check in procedure was too long. I signed many documents which were not explained. It appeared that most of the documents along with giving my credit card were to avoid the nonpayment of any items that I received while we were there…room service, etc…I had three conversations with 3 different receptionists that we would be leaving early and needed a cab for 4:30 am and a breakfast box prepared for us. All three said it would be taken care of. The cab was there but no breakfast box. All three receptionists just ignored the problem until I stated that we paid for breakfast and would need to compensated. Finally one of them went to the kitchen and brought two small boxes with three pieces of fruit and a bottle of water. I asked again to be compensated for breakfast. One of the receptionists said that he would email his supervisor. We are still waiting to be contacted.

The Hotel became part of the Marriott chain during the summer 2025. I stayed there in May 2025 & noticed improvement with customer service! There is still construction going on near/around hotel but it did not affect my stay. Room was large, extremely clean, & bottle of water placed everyday! Highly recommend this hotel away from all the crowds of gran via but still very close to walk to!

The hotel has an incredibly friendly atmosphere. Very impressive lobby area with comfortable seating, sofas chairs and tables in all the convenient areas. Includes a separate bar area, with an outer spacious, glass enclosed area for nicer weather. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast on the 1st floor offered a great choice of hot and cold food for all. The room itself was very clean with modern bathroom. However, one snag was the fan wasn’t working, hence the 4*. Someone mentioned the hotel gave 5* vibes.

Excellent location, walking distance to Gran Via and from there we walked to Plaza Espana, La Plaza, Palacio Real etc. Bus station, Metro is close by.. farther away is the train station Atocha. Our room smelt clean, you can open the windows for a nice breeze, breakfast had many options, food was good and fresh. Everyone was courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay at Marriot on our next trip!

Generally, our stay was good. The hotel buildings were clean and well-maintained; and when we had a problem with a fitting in the room, it was attended to reasonably well. We did not have many encounters with the hotel staff but when we did, they were friendly, professional and helpful. The one problem is the breakfast service. The buffet food was usually cold, because the sytems for keeping food warm did not work - not enough heat lamps etc. and the ones that were there were not switched on. Also, it should not be this hard to get a cup of coffee in the morning! We stayed for three nights and the problem was the same for three breakfast services in a row. Get more coffee machines, and get more resilient ones that do not fail at various points every single day please.

Excellent stay. The hotel staff was courteous and professional. The room was spacious and clean. Room featured great amenities like a mini fridge, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, tv. The bed was comfortable and clean. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and not far from the city center by an easy metro ride. Overall I highly recommend this hotel. I actually am adding it to my list to try and book here next time my wife and I visit Madrid.

This is a beautiful modern hotel, conveniently located within easy walking distance to the old town & the Guggenheim. Two problems - they turned off the air conditioning for the hotel - really!!! - i understand this can be normal in Spain, but it was over 80 Farenheit in the room. Second, the garage entrance is poorly marked and poorly lit. The result was a scrape on my rental car. At least they jave parking, many properties do not. The discomfort of no A / C was the factor for this rating.

The hotel was very nice but the carpet in 12 floor hall was worn out and quite honestly ugly. We were told at check in breakfast was $19.50 a day. She said we could decide each day if we wanted it or not. When we arrived for breakfast, we were told it would be $ 28. A day. After much back and forth. They did allow us to pay at check out. We had to explain ourselves 3 days in a row. Jeeze!
Also your policy of giving 1 bottle of water for your first night only. I think when you are staying in a foreign country and the water is not safe to drink from the facet , you should provide 2 bottles of water (1 for each guest). I was very surprised and disappointed that this occurred at a Marriott facility
