Overall the hotel's condition is ok which include cleanliness, convenient and room's condition. Just the room size is extremely small and no place to open up your luggage. The male attendants are very friendly. The only regret that we had during the stay was there was a Chinese attendant who didn't encourage the guest to use downstairs' toilet with the reason every guest has their own bathroom inside their room and she has to clean it every time after the guest used it. Although she made such a comment but the toilet didn't seem to be cleaned after the previous guest. After a few days visit in Korea, I am sure all the guests must be not able to feel their legs anymore due to walking to here and there all the time. It will be ridiculous to go to your room at 5th floor just to wash your hands or etc. I would suggest this attendant can be a bit more considerate to other people to make this guest house a much better and comfort stay for the guest in future.

Place is very close to Myeongdong street and subway. Friendly staff. Small room. No elevator and had to walk 8 flight of stairs to get to my room on 5th floor.

Great location near Myeongdong station

Perfect if you need a simple and efficient place to sleep at night and leave your stuff during the day. Small rooms and toilets, so don’t stay here if you are looking for luxury.

Location is very near Myeongdong station and the night market.

They have self-service for things you need: water, toilet paper, towels, cereal, coffee, toast bread ~ located near front desk.

Great location right next to the metro station and very close to a lot of shops. Within walking distance to the N tower. Room was very small, just enough space for the bed. Bathroom was very small the shower was just an extension of the sink but powerful and water was very hot. Microwave and tea making facilities in reception area.

The place is clean and location is good. Just a min away from the subway station. The only cons is there is no lift in the guesthouse . The receptionist is kind enough to help us with the luggage up to the room. Will definitely recommend for budget tourist!

Near Myeongdong subway exit 2 but room very small

Very good location. There is a fridge. But room is extremely small. Pillows are small. Only face towels are given. Water when showering tends to leak out coz of awkward shower head position. Do ask for more face towels to use as floor mat outside toilet. The TV only had local channels but anw TV was placed in an awkward position with respect to the bed. When freezing cold, please turn on the heater to 35-40 degrees so that the floor will be heated (this wasn't explained by the staff).The lobby area was just cramped with luggages and the breakfast area was near the recycling/waste disposal area. So it smells. Overall, we wish we had stayed at a more pleasant accommodation.

Small room with no lift

Pro:
1. Very near to subway 100m, myeongdong stn
2. Very near to myeongdong famous shopping street, across the road

Cons:
1. No lift
2. Room too small even not enough for 1 person stay
3. No place to sit, no mirror, only 1 clothes hanger,
4. Not a towel, is too small n like a mat! This is ugly. Not dare to use it as who knows that was previously a foot mat!

Convenient location.

The guesthouses has no lift. The staff will send your luggages to your room and upon checkout they will bring down for you too. We were staying at 4 floor and everyday walk up and down the narrow staircase. The toilet ventilation is no good. The smell is awful. Small room. They don't clean up the room during your stay. You have to clear up the dustbins and keep the room clean. This is my first time to stay in guesthouse. Maybe this is the style of living. Overall the staff are good.

New budget guesthouse in myeongdong

If i travelled only with my husband having a small size room, the rate I would have given higher. I reccommend it though since I personally don't mind having ng a small room just to have enough space for our luggages. We travelled with kids and the room was too small for us.Another downside is the breakfast part, toast and coffee were only served. On the positive side number 1 is the good location. Very near myeongdong subway station. Personnel were helpful with our itineraries . We even met the owner, and he was ver nice. Since it is a guesthouse, it is very much ok since it is new. Very clean. Just have to clean up yourselves. If i were to go back with a friend or my husband with no kids, I would come back to this place.

The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is very near the subway station and the airport shuttle bus stop so we had an easy time going around the city. It is also within walking distance from the Myeongdong shopping strip that we could go there every night to shop around.

The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Oh and they spoke good English, so this was definitely a plus! Breakfast was bread with jam and butter, but it was really good! Plus there was unlimited coffee, tea, and water at any time of the day.

The downside was that there was no elevator, but the staff was kind enough to carry our luggage to the 5th floor. Also, the rooms and bathroom were small, but it was good enough for the price and since we were mostly outdoors and stayed in the room only to sleep.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back here!

Basic, clean room in a good location

We stayed here for three nights, the hotel is very close to the metro station and walking distance to markets, shopping and the cable car to Seoul tower. The hotel is very basic, the rooms were quite small but fine if you're on a budget and need somewhere to sleep between spending the day out exploring the city. Also there are no lifts but the staff helped us with our luggage. The bathroom was large wet room and the drains did smell a bit so make sure the extractor is turned on.
All in all if you're looking for somewhere cheap, clean and don't plan to spend much time in the hotel this hotel would be great. Staff were very friendly and helped us out with directions and tips on where to go etc.
One thing I would say is that if you plan on getting a taxi to the hotel make sure you have the address in Korean as well as English because we found a couple of taxi drivers didn't know where the hotel was and didn't understand the address in English.

Good value for money

If you just need a place to sleep in after your busy day shopping and touring the city, this is already a good place to book. During our stay, the guest house staff (who we think are also the owners) were very polite and helpful. There were unlimited stocks of coffee, tea, water, condiments and utensils in the pantry. They also weren't very strict on bringing our own food (which i suggest is something you may want to consider, at least for breakfast, if you are on a budget). Free breakfast is just bread. Only downside is the restroom because of the weird smell it occasionally emits, but right after use, it just fades. (We don't know why orrr how that happens!) The best thing about it is its proximity to the shopping center, and the train and bus stations! :) It also has a few restos and cafes beside it, and just-around-the-corner 24-hr convenience store.

スタッフさんは日本語は通じませんが、すごく対応が良かったです。
5階の部屋なのにエレベーターが無く、階段も狭いので荷物が多いと大変だと思います。
全体的に自分達でリノベーションした感があり、古さも相まって清潔感はあまりありません。ウォーターサーバーが設置されていたのが良かったです。

My dreamroom

This hotel is unbelievably dreadful. The yellow stains on the quilt were insanely disgusting that we didn’t even dare to use it. Ominously, the room was as small as the cage houses in which we didn’t have adequate space to move. The dysfunctional air conditioner was terrible enough as it couldn’t be adjusted properly. This was the most horrendous travel experience we’ve ever had in our lives.

店主很好會幫忙拿行李上樓,因旅店沒電梯的. 買很多東西拿上幾層實在有點吃力但當做運動的話也是不錯選擇.房間方面,唯一感到不太滿意是每次出入房間都有味道,廁所味道特別強烈, 希望改善一下抽風問題, 每次番房間都打開門一會.但整體是乾淨的, 也感謝店主和打掃房間的姐姐幫忙和有善的態度.而垃圾要自己掉,地下放有分類箱. 隔音方便, 完全沒有隔音可言,因為我睡覺是還聽到旁邊房間別人說什麼..

狭い！おもしろい部屋

スタンダードシングルを予約しました。
リュックで行ったので困りませんでしたが、
キャリーケースを広げるスペースはベッドの上のみ。狭いです。
ドアを開けて一歩でベッド、そしてシャワーのドアが
あるのですが、ベッドとシャワーの間が20センチほど、
シャワーから出て来たら、まずベッドに乗らなければなりません。
シャワーは5 分ほど出し続けてお湯が出てきます。
洗面所の排水のホースがきちんと繋がっていないので、
足元に流れてきます。（飛び散ることはなかった）

部屋の湿気は気になりませんでした。
部屋に鏡、ティッシュペーパーは無いです。

スタッフの方はにこにこ、優しかったですし
ゲストハウス全体も清潔感がありました。

廊下に浄水器がおいてありましたが、他の人は
お湯が出なくて困っていました。
本当に寝に帰るだけなら駅からも近いので困らないです。
でもこの値段だったら、他のところに泊まるかなぁ、
清潔なのとスタッフが良い人だけに残念、、

日本では体験したことない部屋で、おもしろかったです！

駅から近くて、寝るだけなら良い。
部屋が五階だったけど階段しかないので、重い荷物だとかなり大変。
フロントの人は日本語は喋れないのか照れ屋なのかコミュニケーションはほぼ無し。

明洞駅のエレベーターにも近く便利。
また泊まりたいと思います。
ツインに泊まりましたが、スーツケースも広げられます。
トイレの床が濡れているのが難点でしたが、コスパ的には充分です。

明洞に近く、初めてソウルを観光される方には非常に便利なホステルです。客室はきれいに清掃されており、シャンプー・リンス・ボディソープはありました。Wi-Fiの接続が悪い点だけが残念でした。

방이 정말 작지만 저렴한 비용이라 참을 수 있을만 함 그런데 하수구냄새에 골치아픔 옆방물소리 말소리에 신경쓰임 베드 정말불편함
조식포함이라지만 식빵 토스터 맥심스틱 녹차티백이 다였음;;; 조식포함이라고 하지않았더라면 고마웠을텐데.
나열하고보니 왜 이런데서 묵었지싶음

Very good location, less than 5 mins walk from MyeongDong Station Exit 1. The staff were very helpful and nice. Room is a little small, but good enough for backpacker. Overall is tidy and clean, but the toilet had some smell, need to use something to cover sewer mouth to reduce the smell.

因為是臨時住一晚，所以只要便宜整潔便可，它正附合要求，可能房間給了三人房，比想像中大了點，尤其是洗水間，因韓國都偏細，原先以為距地鐵站十分鐘的路程，原來很近，地鐵1號出口行上去便是了。

明洞駅に近く便利な立地。ツインに泊まったが、部屋は広めで、専用のシャワー（＆トイレ）スペースも広め。この価格で考えるとコスパはよいほう。１階だったからか、少し下水ぽいニオイがしたのとコバエが出たのが残念。エレベーターがないので上のほうの階だと移動が大変かも？（大きな荷物は運んでもらえるらしいが）。日本語は話せないもののスタッフは良い方たちでした。
