This hotel is in a great area. Super close to train and bus stops, including the airport bus, convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel also has great amenities. We loved the self-service lockers and laundry room. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. A little tight for 3 adults and their full sized checked luggage, but we are seasoned travelers and we easily made it work and were very comfortable. The only thing I’d like to call out and caution potential guests about is the shower. At least for our room, it was not easy to get in and out of, and would be impossible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Not without a lot of help, anyway. Obviously I can’t speak for other rooms, but if you have mobility issues, definitely inquire with the hotel before booking.

Overall, great hotel. Will definitely book again if I ever return to Seoul.

The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the action. The hotel itself is quite basic, but the room was comfortable and spacious—we stayed in a triple room. However, the layout wasn’t very functional, and additional hooks or shelves would have been helpful.
Toiletries such as toothbrushes and shavers were not provided complimentary; these were available for purchase from a vending machine on the ground floor. It was also noisy at night, with music audible from outside—an understandable downside of staying near the night market.
We didn’t try the breakfast, as we preferred to eat out. For the price we paid, I didn’t feel the stay offered good value, so I would likely try a different hotel in a similar location next time.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel which is very convenient from the airport bus stop and Myeongdong station.

Front desk & housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. Love the cold & hot water dispenser on every floor near the lift & appreciated the 2 free bottles of water daily.

Will definitely book this hotel again when I next visit.

Everything was wonderful .. room was clean .. staff was excellent .. amenities need a little help but their staff response was wonderful when amenities were needed ! Their staff went above and beyond their capacity and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who loves shopping, is a foodie (food trucks right outside hotel entrance) and overall location to everything (Palace / Lotte dept / Tower / Cathedral / etc … )

The location was choice and the staff amazing. While the beds were comfortable, be prepared to have only one pillow per person in Seoul. You can always ask for another. The room was fine, but needed updating and we had to ask for the AC to be turned down. Seemed a little dingy and the shower was hard to get in and out of plus kept going from warm, to hot to cold and back again. While the staff was great and the location perfect, I would not stay here again. However, the price is what you would expect.

However, the property is quite dated, and the rooms are extremely small — which may not suit everyone's comfort preferences. While the location is excellent, I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

This hotel was great. Right in the middle of myeongdong. Loved how the night market and shops were right there. You could just walk right out and there was always something to do. The subway was also super close than most other hotels I’ve seen. I think the location is what is best about the hotel. The room was great for sleeping and quiet. We had a nice corner room on the top. It was nice to just look outside and see the weather and what people were wearing to judge what to wear out. AC nice and cold for the hot days. The rooms are a bit small so opening a full suitcase out could be tough unless you do it on the bed. Plenty of room for a place to just sleep and then go out to see Seoul. Toilet and shower was nice. Front desk very helpful. Only 2 elevators for the whole hotel so sometimes have to wait or squeeze in with people and their stuff. Tried to use the washing machine but there is only one so never got a chance as it was always being used. Overall I loved our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you nine trees for a wonderful experience

Nice property. Very conveniently located for the street markets. But the best part by far was Rosy. She was beyond amazing. We arrived to check in late in the evening. We were hungry and she not only recommend a place but ordered it for us and the food was out of this world great. Then she got taxis for us many times, she recommended tourist places and kept in touch with us constantly throughout our stay of 10 nights. Honestly, if it wasn't for Rosy Nine Trees would be at a huge loss. We love Rosy.

Upon Check in, we were being served by a very helpful and friendly male staff (Daniel) who is also the Manager of the hotel. He displays great customer service and professionalism in helping his guests. Location of this hotel is very convenient and accessible to the subway and bus stations. It's also convenient to many popular restaurants and local food nearby. I will be back again for my next trip to Seoul.

Our first time to Seoul and we couldn't have stayed at a more perfect location. A family of 3 - we booked a triple room and it had a great amt of room for us all. In the hall - just around the corner of our room, was a water dispenser with cold and boiling water - which was helpful when eating ramen from the convenience store. There is also a luggage prep station where you can weigh and prepare your luggage before heading to the airport which was great for us. The ladies at the front desk were fabulous. Very helpful and extremely friendly! As for location - it was perfect. Minutes away from the station - made it handy for our daily travels. Several convenience stores close by for loading up on drinks and snacks. In the evening - the streets near us turn into a night market with street food vendors and other vendors (clothes, purses etc). So fun to explore. In the morning there are a plethera of cafes to choose from for breakfast options and coffee or tea. The last point is that we were just around the corner from the bus stop for the Airport Limo bus. All in all a great experience and We would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed here 3 nights….Hotel location was great, centrally located and very close to subway station. Staff was polite, spoke multiple languages which was impressive and the hotel had large bath towels (amazing when any other accommodations we had over our 12 day stay visits in Korea did not have large bath towels).
Bathtub/shower had a large step up (very high) that was difficult for my mom who is 5’2 and 70 years old.

I like the idea of going green but didn’t understand with providing only paper cups which means more harm to environment.
Also automatic air conditioning ,waking us up at 2am please may be change this settings coz if we want , we can turn it on. It’s not green when you turn on AC 24hrs

This was my second stay at Nine Tree Myeongdong. As I remembered, the rooms are clean and easily accessible. Customer service is top notch, they made check in very easy and before our room was ready, held our luggage while we shopped. The hotel is next to the main road and a very short walk to the 6015 Airport Limousine. I very much appreciated stepping out of the hotel into the heart of Myeongdong shopping, with everything you might need, from coffee shops to convenience stores, to the 12-story Daiso just a short walk away! We very much enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is close to the Myeondong subway. Also close to the bus stop to go to Majang meat market. Outside there are lots of convenience shops and restaurants. Lots of shops around and all within walking distance. Hotel.has limited laundry facilities. There is free coffee as well.as 12 hour free luggage storage lockers. Italian restaurant wasnt too bad. It was definitely a dream location for its accessibility to all the shops in myeongdong, yet it was quite quiet when you are in the room. Room was very comfortable with fluffy comforter and pillows! Room was simple and clean.
I would also like to applaud counter hotel staff Eve,she was very approachable and helpful,often serving with a smile. She was able to assist me with travel card etc and airport transfer information. A wonderful location and would strongly recommend for stay!
