The room was extremely small. We booked a two double bed room and the layout looked like it was really for one double bed that they utilized for two which gave us no space to open our suitcases. The tv uses streaming services only which was disappointing. The same breakfast every day was so boring and the food options were limited. Moxy is located right in the heart of Myeongdong. Everything is in walkable distance. The rooms are well kept and each room has their own AC.

We did breakfast several times during our week stay and there was a great rotation of food items to choose from. Ramen is included in the breakfast as well. There is 24/7 coffee, tea and water. There was also a welcome drink. Superb!

Staff was great and accommodating. I had a very early flight in and they were able to get my room ready when I landed. They also allowed me to have a late check out as well which helped.

Taxi can be ordered for you conveniently and luggage can be stored. Would stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were soft with warm bedding. The bar and restaurant was exceptional and the free laundry was an added bonus we didn't expect. The location was perfect. Close to every we wanted to go. It was also very convenient with subway and customs within 5 min walk or less. The only thing I would change is the mini fridge in the room. It was half of a regular mini fridge and only fit 2 bottles of water. There was free tea and coffee and the staff was very friendly! I would recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back again!

The concierge staff - April and Danny were helpful and exceptional in helping us navigate Myeongdong and places to go. The housekeeping staff were very thorough and prompt sevicing our room. The combined Bar / Check-In / Hangout area was best. Staff were courteous and extremely helpful. We hung out for a steak and beer, and played arcade games at the end of every evening. The room design was bad. Not sure why everywhere is so dim and dark, and the water boiler and purifier is at the bed side table. Design of dark corridors and the room was terrible.

Moxy Seoul was incredible!

Our trip to Seoul turned into a bit of a nightmare—we were supposed to have three full days, but due to unexpected issues, it became just a 12-hour visit. That said, Moxy went above and beyond to make the most of our short stay. They even welcomed us with a much-needed complimentary drink when we finally arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The location was perfect—super convenient, which helped us maximize the little time we had. The staff was absolutely amazing: kind, understanding, and genuinely made an effort to lift our spirits after a rough travel experience.

We’ll 1000% be back to Seoul, and when we are, we’ll only be staying at Moxy!

Great restaurants and proximity to metro station. Rooms were clean and well maintained during our stay. Staff was excellent and very friendly. We stayed at Moxy for 7 days and 6 nights. First night we had water leaks from shower due to some pipe issues. Nothing could be done at that moment. We waited for a day and our group got split up to two rooms on the second night. The hotel upgraded us to a suite on day 3 and we stayed at that suite until the last day of our trip. Overall, the hotel and staffs troubleshoots and make sure we had a room to stay. Moving from room to room wasn’t the nicest but at least the hotel and the staff were very apologetic throughout our whole stay.

The location was excellent. Close to everything. The family room on the 8th floor was spacious and quiet. My favorite part of the room was automatic water dispenser! Korean winter is pretty dry and having water dispenser and kettle was great way to hydrate. The CREW were accommodating. We were able to check in early and get needed rest. We received a welcome snack and that was very sweet! Special shout out to Benny at the bar, who took care of us when I needed non-sugary, non-alcoholic drink. He remembered my needs next day and fixed me the same drink. These little details makes tired travelers remember the trip.

I stayed here with my two daughters, 10 and 9 for 4nights.
It was in the perfect area, the girls loved the shopping and the buzzing night market and it was super close to the metro.
The bar is super cool in the hotel, the kids loved to play with the games there and was perfect for a chilled evening wind down.
There was an annoying noise in the room the 1st night, but I told the staff and the next day it was fixed.
The breakfast was okey, we paid for it for two days, limited options. But the kids were free so was fine for the value of money.

We picked Moxy Myeongdong for our 8 days stay in Seoul and it was easily our best decision ever.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable, especially we had tiring overnight flight and the friendly front desk team were very accomodating to our request of an early check-in. Special shoutout to Erin Kim and Matt Kim for their outstanding assistance!

As we entered into our room nested at the quiet corner on Level 8 of the hotel, the 2 Queen-sized bed room was a perfect blend of modern elegance and comfort. The bed was incredibly cozy and the attention to detail in the room design was impressive. The stunning city views from my window added an extra touch of magic.

What truly set Moxy Myeongdong apart was the thoughtful touches throughout my stay. From the complimentary welcome drink to the personalize note and small gifts (three Toblerone mini chocolate bars!) in my room left by the housekeeper after every housekeeping in the morning, it was clear that the hotel values its guests and strives to create a memorable experience.

In conclusion, Moxy Myeongdong exceeded all my expectations and provided a stay that was both luxurious and and comforting. Whether you are visiting Seoul for business or leisure, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is more than just a place to stay - it is an experience that you will cherish, and I for one can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay here. We had an easy check-in and check-out with Erin Kim who is the epitome of welcoming, professional, and kind. The concierge helped us with everything from umbrellas for the rain and sleet to ordering taxis so promptly. The “front desk”, bar, and restaurant staff easily answered our questions and served in a friendly and efficient manner. The maintenance and cleaning staff kept the facility impeccably clean and in perfect working order. We would definitely return to this upbeat and lovely hotel.

I loved this property! The staff were very friendly and thoughtful. I booked a standard queen bedroom and they were concerned about me not having enough space in the room and assisted in giving me a bigger room. They were also very informative on what transportation I can take and the best one for where. The helpful team. Even the cleaning ladies were friendly and always left chocolate on our nightstand and organized everything in our room. I will stay here again if I come back to Korea. ❤️
