Room very clean with lots of amenities, fridge, hairdryer, kettle etc. The only issue was the shower which was good but was in the same room as the toilet with just a curtain between so the floor got wet and there wasn’t much space

(FOR THE PHOTOS ATTACHED THEY WERE TAKEN RIGHT BEFORE I CHECKED OUT SO THE ROOM HAD BEEN LIVED IN!!) The room was clean, semi spacious and didn’t have any offensive smells (I have really bad sensory issues so smell is a pretty big issue for me). There is also a mini fridge, kettle and two closets, one that you can hang clothes up with draws and one with draws only. There was plenty of space to put my luggage and the bed was big with really nice pillows. The bathroom is a bit small but worked well. The wifi worked perfectly but I was only there for a short time and was in the room for an even shorter amount of time because I was mainly out doing things but every time I used the wifi it worked great. The location is absolutely perfect, super close to a train station and bus stops that can take you to touristy areas really easily! The small downsides about this room was after a shower especially it can be a bit humid but there is a working ac so no problem and the tv didn’t work but I wasn’t in South Korea to watch tv so not really a big issue. Absolutely amazing hotel, would 100% recommend to anyone who is going to Seoul.

Cheap - you get what you pay for - be warned

The reviews on google are correct.

Room smelt of mould. Vent in the bathroom/shower room wasnt working.
Luckily the cleaning ladies sprayed mould spray during cleaning, but the smell comes back.

This is cheap and you get what you pay for.

Bed is not comfortable.
Room size is alright.

I don’t recommend staying at this property if you’re traveling with a baby. To reach the elevator, you first have to walk up a set of stairs, which makes it very inconvenient for strollers or heavy luggage. The rooms are extremely small and can’t accommodate large suitcases comfortably. Be cautious about bringing food into the room — they charge for any stains found on the bedding or towels. I also noticed mold behind the cabinets, which raises concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.

WiFi - the user name is wrong on the instruction note of the room … on the last day, I stayed, WiFi show week security then show ‘ no internet connection ‘ it keeps on and off… bad!

But truly the first three days wifi was offering good connection thou..

Very simply located for shopping
Reception closes at 10:00 pm. If you need anything after 10 you're all alone. Everything needs to be rented from the hotel If you need an extra key to keep the heating working while you're out due to the very cold weather , then you need to pay for an extra card. If you need an adapter you have to pay for it ..everything is paid for. I had to leave the hotel at 4:00 a.m. nobelman no Porter nobody to help me with my luggage although there is one big flight of stairs to be used until you get to the lift. . Otherwise the rooms are very very small. For the very first time I see a shower hooked to the top of the sink so there is no step in shower or bathtub You just have the handle of the shower which is hooked to the sink and have your shower in front of the sink with the water from the sink very strange.

Pretty low quality hotel hidden on the last top floors of a shabby building.There is no reception, no free wifi. The rooms are in serious need of some TLC, and the blankets smelled heavily of camphor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want a place to sleep close to the night market. Definitely below the standards of hotels.com

Very disappointing. Cold smelly room

Pictures are very misleading. Reality did not meet expectations.
First off, the entrance and hallway is dark, eery and looks like the set of a horror film.
The rooms are much smaller than they appear on the website, and they are old and just drab. Linen and towels are shaggy and need to be replaced. The bathroom smelled AWFUL and needs a deep clean and update.
Worst of all was the heating. There’s no underfloor heating, just an old air conditioner that takes ages to warm up, is very noisy and doesn’t stay on all night. It was freezing cold inside the room WITH the heater on. Definitely won’t go back.
The only positive thing was the helpful person who works at the front desk and emailed us before and during our stay.

Hotel Cozy is an excellent place to stay due to it's reasonable price and great location. Hotels.com list it as a 3 star hotel and it holds that rating greatly. The breakfast is fresh and has a nice variety. Everyday they change a few things about the menu so it's not boring to eat there. The rooms are clean and fairly well equipped, I only wish there was a iron and ironing board in the rooms. The one we had was a standard double and it was just the right size for two people. If you are travelling with more, I suggest getting a larger room. House keeping is friendly and respectful. The hotel is located only a minute or two from the subway station and multiple bus stops which makes commuting around the city easy. Truly a great hotel for the price and location.

Arrived on 18 Dec 2019. To our surpise, our online booking for a family room with Hotel Cozy was cancelled. For the next ten days, stayed in two separated room being assigned to us.
Seriously hope that the hotel staff be more meticulous in handling the booking record. It should not happen again.

A reasonable hotel w kind English speaking staff

The entrance way was a little difficult to find at night. You have to go down a bit of a hallway and to an elevator. The check in counter is on the 10th floor. The check in staff were very friendly and checking in and out is smooth. Breakfast is good, with a few options to select from, but not might be difficult for someone picky. The room and building itself are a little old, but clean. The shower is in the same room as the toilet and sink, though this is not uncommon in Korea. For price and location, this hotel is very reasonable.

Cons: was arranged to a smaller corner Superior Twin Room, expecting a regular Superior Twin Room that I have paid for; You need to walk one level stairs to get to the elevator, because elevator looks like on the 2nd floor.

Pros: Very closed to a subway station and airport bus station; People at the front desk can speak English, Chinese and Korean, very friendly.

The location is great - you are quite close to 2 underground stations and have a real contrast in shopping - the luxurious Shinsegae main store up the road or an expanse of street stalls in the other direction.
Breakfast is basic - toast, cereal, juice, but they cook you a fried egg and bacon or sausage.
Rooms are a bit small but OK - bathroom good.
there are stairs to the lifts.
Tip - if you can afford it, try the cafe on the 4th floor of Shinsegae - expensive but the chocolate cake is to die for!

the location is good, easy to get around, right at Namdaemum local market, 3 minutes walk to subway station. Room is pretty small, set up is not ideal, need to sit on your bed to watch TV. Do have a lot of english channels on tv. Breakfast is very basic.

The entire staff and Manager have been very helpful. The airline lost one of our luggage when we arrived and the staff rang the airline repeatedly even though it was closed because it was the 24th of Dec. The Manager was also very helpful and tried his best to communicate with in English. We would recommend this hotel because of the excellent service we received from everyone.

A Nice Budget Priced Hotel in Downtown Seoul

A nice budget priced hotel to stay at in downtown Seoul, South Korea.

This hotel has a convenient location within steps of the Namdaemun Market, underground shopping malls, many buses and subway stations. Also, it's within walking distance to Sungnyenum Gate, Myeong-dong Market, Doeksungug Palace, City Hall and Seoul Station.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was always helpful and friendly during my entire stay there. Complimentary breakfast was nice and in particular I enjoyed the fresh eggs, hot meat and fruit slices which were offered every day.

After a long flight to Seoul from Canada, I arrived and was given a warm greeting during check-in. Not only that but the check-in person cheerfully helped me to arrange a few bus tours right after issuing me my room entry card.

Everything at Hotel Cozy was done very well by the staff. This included the staff cooking my breakfast every morning, daily room cleanings and always being helpful at the check-in counter for giving me precise directions to sightseeing locations using both the subway and bus systems.

Every morning cleaning crews left a few bottles of spring water in my room, which was both very much appreciated and a nice extra touch.

Staff did everything possible to make my sixteen (16) day stay enjoyable and pleasant.

I am very happy with my accommodations at Hotel Cozy.

Never recommend Cozy Hotel.
Telephone limited to front and room to room, not for any outside local calls.
I mistaken to left in the room, few drawers with camera, iPod, etc. during checkout,
non of the items kept in Lost and Found, after my checkout.
Shower only at narrow toilet room!??? with curtain, no bathtub, of course.
Breakfast cheaply stuffed.
Room so narrow, table is only 1ft deep.
Just, NEVER TRY this terrible COZY HOTEL?!?!

As a family consists of 2 adults and 2 kids, I stayed in room 508 (a family room with 2 single beds and 1 double bed). Thus, sleeping wise, it is spacious for us. Though, the space in the room is not big, it is ok for 4 of us. We have only one big luggage, thus, no problem with the space. This hotel is not new, thus do not expect brand new clean furnitures, fittings and fixtures.
We paid a total of SGD383 for 4D3N including simple breakfast. I think the price is considered cheap if you compare with all other hotels in that area.
The location is very ideal if you are on free and easy trip. It is near to the airport bus stop, train station, a lot of shops and restaurants. We were able to walk to Myeongdong shopping street twice as it is not far away.
Another good thing about the hotel is that, we had a really early check in at about 10 am plus (check in time is supposed to be 2pm).
The staff at the reception counter and breakfast restaurant are very polite and friendly.
I was very concerned when I read in some reviews that there is foul smell coming out from the toilet. Fortunately, we did not experience that.

Reasonable hotel in the middle of Namdaemun Market

My family stayed in a family room of this hotel, which turned out to be roomy enough for four, in terms of both bed and bathroom space. We had no problems with heated water or air conditioning. The area serving breakfast was tad small and had limited selection of menu, but the staff serving the eggs & ham was very kind and it was good enough for a light meal. Overall, we had a good stay.

When I arrived, I didn't realize how small my room would be, but that was okay, considering I was just going to be sleeping here. What made it bad was the fact that the AC didn't work and neither did the phone, so when I had an issue, I had to go to the receptionist since I couldn't call her. I was with another friend and WE BOTH had to take several trips to the receptionist together because we were only given one key, and you need a key to keep the lights on and you also need the key in order to get up and down on the elevator.

It was 11pm when we arrived and since our AC didn't work, we requested to move rooms, but all of the rooms were already book. It was so inconvenient. They did fully refund our money back, but I had to call cheaptickets myself to ensure the refund and basically played middle man between cheaptickets and the hotel receptionist/staff, which took another hour. By the time we left Hotel Cozy (at this point we are hotel-less), it was 1:30AM.

This hotel was very close to everything the subway, but not to seoul station as the website mentioned, market close.. seoul tower close..
However, no restaurant, the front desk not too friendly, the room floor was dirty full of hair, the shower was all in one with the toilet.. didnt like that.. but the amenities was good, fridge, coffee, voltage converter, great ac..

I can't believe the hotel is rated as three stars. I've stayed in other major city hotels before so I understand the space premium but this was really small. The bathroom/toilet was weird, tiny (we are relatively short people but even we struggled) and as other reviewers have commented, really smelled. To save space, they have the shower over the sink.

There is an extractor fan outside the bathroom which you cannot turn off so there is this constant whirring noise. The towels and bedding (although I hope they were clean) had stains on them. The surfaces were dusty and the walls had several scuff marks on them. During the first night's sleep, we were awoken by dripping sounds and found that the ceiling was leaking.

We asked to be moved and they placed us in the room above our original one. Oddly, the second room was slightly bigger and thankfully the bathroom/toilet was odour free this time. Unfortunately one of the days we found a cockroach happily crawling up the wall. Also had the extractor fan outside the bathroom which was constantly on meaning we frequently awoke gasping for water as the air was so dry as a result.

We paid for breakfast with our room and it was below ok and got cold quickly.

I would not stay here again and if it hadn't been prepaid, we would've checked out after the first night. If you must stay here, do not get the breakfast and instead use the money to get a bigger room or better still get a room elsewhere.

As the title says, the hotel is indeed very nice. The only downside is the bathroom which is very small. I didn't have a proper shower, half bathroom was used as shower itself. I suppose it's ok for the price. Also the location is very good if you love markets or just want to be in the middle of some action.

Great location! Close to markets and Myeong Dong.

You couldn't ask for a better location. This hotel is right by two of the most interesting places in Seoul. The rooms are fairly large, and had a desk and shelf. I stayed here for five nights, and the first two or so days, the Internet was very bad. I could barely connect, and would be dropped after just a few minutes. I had a little more success connecting to the floor below me, but it was still very likely to be dropped. However, whatever problems they were having seemed to be rectified towards the end of my stay.

The staff was nice, and helped me order a taxi early in the morning for an early flight.

The room was small but adequate. Staff was very helpful. They need to add shelves and hook hangers since there is scant place to put stuff. Fun location right in the famous Namdaemum market and by one of the finest department stores. Excellent restaurant and wonderful free breakfast buffet. It's just around the corner from the express bus stop from Incheon airport, and it's a short walk to the park at Namsum Tower and the City Hall area.

No Bathtub!?

The accomodation fee's quite expensive (probably because of the location), but the room condition's really disappointed. The room's very small that I hardly found a point to place my luggage. Worse still, there's no bathtub in the bathroom but just a shower, so that I'd to take the shower right in front of the sink & made everywhere wet. Is that an over HKD900 twin room should be like? Absolutely not!

Hard to find

This hotel was miserable to find. While the location seems very centralized, no cab's had any idea where this place was. Even with the address in korean the cab drivers had a hard time finding this hotel. This includes the black cabs.

In addition there is a flight of stairs prior to the elevator and everything just felt cramped and dirty. Not exactly the best place for a vacation or business.

The location is terrible so it was a headache to find the hotel at night. If you are planning to stay just for one or two nights this hotel is a good option, but more than two nights the room start to suffocate you because is very very small. Do you have more than 1 luggage? Forget it.

it is good that they let me check in at around 9am, however the room was not cleaned yet....and they changed another room for me. The room is quite small. The location is good that juz 10mins walking to Myeongdong.

Good: location is the best part - convenient to everything basically! staff speak English well and were helpful when asked. Breakfast buffet is a pretty good selection although the majority is Asian food. Hotel was quiet and bed was comfortable.
Bad: toilet was smelly, sometimes the smell permeating the whole room. Hotel policy is to only clean sheets if asked, so upon arrival my sheets were not freshly cleaned. Lifts are slow and hotel corridors are not heated (it was winter). Rooms are very small but if you are used to being in Korea or Japan it's normal, and not a big problem when traveling alone.

交通方便，酒店就在明洞旁邊，走過去只需要10-15分鐘 / 1個地鐵站
價錢合理，以她的房間、地理位置、基本設備，性價比算不錯了
職員友善，樂於助人，有什麼要求，或需要建議的時候，不妨詢問一下他們

但是，房間設備比較簡陋、前往酒店電梯有十多級樓梯、酒店附近街道亦較為不整潔

夜、隣の部屋の話し声がうるさくて寝れなかった。
夜8時を過ぎると周辺のお店はほとんど閉まっていて、夕飯を食べるのも一苦労でした。
シャワー室が狭くてびっくり。安さと便利さから言ったら、文句は言えませんが。

良い点
南大門市場の中に位置しているようで、明洞やソウル駅にも歩いて行けた。便利な場所だった。
シャワーの出はとても良く、熱いお湯が出る。
ウォシュレット付水洗トイレ。
ベッドは硬めで寝やすかった。
部屋のゴミ捨てとタオル替えは毎日してもらえる。
無料朝食サービスがあるようだ（利用しなかった）。
新世界デパートがほぼ目の前にある。　　　
金浦空港から近い。
近所に中央郵便局がある。

悪い点
部屋は激せまでスーツケースを全開できるのはベッドの上だけだった（シングル）。
小虫が数匹いた。
トイレの紙はゴミ箱に捨てる方式。
ホテルロビーに行くエレベーターに乗る前に、ホテルの出入り口から20段程の階段を登る必要がある。スーツケースを持ってない上り下りが非常に大変だった。
全体的に清潔感が感じられない。
窓からの良い景色は望めない。天気が良いか悪いか位の判断はできる。
受付の人はただそこにいるだけって感じ。　

地下鉄駅の会賢駅7番が最寄り。古い駅なので階段利用なしでは上り下りができない。1番出口エレベーターは修理中で使えなかった。
結果帰国日はソウル駅まで歩いてエスカレーターを使う選択をした。

1人で街中での滞在を希望する人で荷物があまり多くない或いは郵便局で荷物を送れるくらい韓国語が堪能な人には良いホテルだと思う。

Excelente localização e fácil acesso.

Um hotel bem simples mas muito bem localizado. Atendeu todas as minhas necessidades, a estadia foi tranquila e os funcionários são muito gentis. Fácil de chegar via metrô ou ônibus traslado do Aeroporto de Incheon. O café da manhã é bem simples mas muito satisfatório. Há uma enorme variedade de lojas ao redor do hotel, além de conveniência e mercado noturno.
