Great sauna and hot tub facility
We were lucky to get early check in which is something we did not experience elsewhere on our trip around South Korea.
Small thing which was surprising, if you don’t click make up my room it is not going to be cleaned ( at least it was your experience)

Excellent hotel in a great location.

This was my second time in Seoul, and I had stayed in roughly the same area before; however, I would choose this hotel as it’s better. It is close to City Hall Station (Green Line) and as well as Hoehyeon (Blue Line). The 6005 airport limousine from Incheon Airport will also drop you off straight outside the hotel and pick you up across the road, so it’s very easy to get to and from the airport to the hotel.

The area around the hotel is also lovely, with several restaurants, and you are only a 10/15 minute walk to Myeong-dong for even more options and shopping. You can also easily walk to some of the palaces.

The room itself was lovely, all the amenities were in good condition and clean. Lots of space to put things, fridge, TV, decent bathroom, and storage.

The staff were very friendly and helped with any questions.

Something that I find important is that despite being in the centre of Seoul, on a main road, and having lots of guests, the hotel was still nice and quiet.

There is a lovely view from the 16th floor with an area to sit, and while I didn’t use this, it looked very nice.

I would very much recommend staying here.

It was such a great location. I was pleased with the quality of amenities, service, and the restaurant first floor. I was not expecting too much, but the Korean food was quite authentic. I am planning to come back to Seoul in 9 months and I plan on staying here. The location is fantastic, I could walk everywhere.

Something was wrong with the AC. The room never got cold. We even left the room key in the slot to keep the ac running while we were out. We were out for a few hours and it still felt the same. It was warm and humid outside so we were hoping to come into a nice cold room. We called twice about it and people came to the room to check it out but they said it’s working. However, all night long we were uncomfortable since it was warm in the room. It only felt slightly cool if you are just laying in bed with no covers. Once you get up to something, it starts feeling warm again.

We had a wonderful time! Staff was friendly and everything including bus and subway was easily accessible. There’s a washer in the room but no dryer. Pro tip they will hold your luggage after checkout if you have a late flight like I did.

Stayed at Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul and would highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the subway and close to Namdaemun Market, Myeongdong, and plenty of Korean restaurants that stay open late. Despite being situated on a major road, our room was surprisingly quiet, making for a comfortable stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping was efficient and thorough, with complimentary bottled water replenished daily. The bed was comfortable, and the overall standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent.

The staff were friendly, accommodating, and spoke good English. They were able to assist with both early and late check-in requests during our stay.

What stood out most was how helpful the hotel was when we took a two-day trip to Busan. We split our stay into two bookings and were able to store our large luggage at the hotel while we travelled. Upon our return, the team even accommodated our request to be placed back in the exact same room, which we greatly appreciated.

Overall, Fraser Place Namdaemun offers excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location for exploring Seoul. I would definitely stay here again.

Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul is an excellent choice for travelers looking for convenience and comfort in Seoul. The location is fantastic, with Myeongdong just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy shopping, street food, and sightseeing. The family room was big and spacious. We had 4 people and there was still enough space to move around in the room. Really appreciated having the dining table in the room. We could buy food back to the room to have a nice dinner. Provision of the cutlery and microwave was also very helpful.

The breakfast spread was not very wide but the food was certainly delicious.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you for a very memorable stay in Seoul.

The staff is overall very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient especially if you are planning to shop for kids clothes in Dondaemun area.
I requested crib beforehand but only found out that the crib was not set up in the room. Requested again with staff at front office and it was set up efficiently after we came back room from lunch. Recommended!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Fraser Place Namdaemun Seoul. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. It was the last leg of our 2 weeks in South Korea so it was nice to have a washing machine which was very clean (not moldy and smelly like other hotels in Europe); the hotel provided laundry detergent and a drying rack in the room.

Location was great with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but we walked over to Isaac Toast for 2 mornings and to Namdaemun market for 1 morning breakfast.

We used their free shuttle to Seoul station where we took the AREX train to the airport. The shuttle van driver was very nice and courteous. We were dropped off closer than the taxi stands.

This is an outstanding hotel in an idyllic location in Seoul. The amenities are phenomenal, and we greatly enjoyed the restaurants and lounge. We had easy access (15 minute walk) to our arranged tours of the city and DMZ zone. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We booked the family room and it was more than big enough for 3 adults and 1 infant.. We like how clean the room was and it's complete with everything we need.. There's a kitchenette with washing machine, stove, sink, microwave and fridge bigger enough than the usual one you see in the hotel. The room has a divider which we like for more privacy when our baby needs to sleep.

We also love the location. Close enough to but far enough from the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong Street. The aiport bus stop is just across the street which is very convenient.

Excellent choice for leisure travelers in the heart of downtown Seoul. Short walk to the City Hall Metro stop for easy access to everywhere. There are dozens of nice restaurants within a few blocks as well as the onsite dining options. Clean, comfortable room with all the usual amenities. Highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again if I ever return to Seoul.

It was our first trip to Korea and staying here was a great home base for a week long trip. It was close to City hall station to catch a bus or subway to anywhere in town and near shops, convenience stores, and the popular market right down the street. The room was extremely spacious and the room amenities (washer/dryer combo) were awesome. The staff was accommodating since we had a late departure and needed to leave our bags and the shuttle service to Seoul station was really nice too. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this hotel was a last minute adjustment to our holiday. Another hotel wasn't up to our usual standards, so we opted to spend our last 4 days of our holiday here. Overall a very nice hotel for the price offered, but not our usual standard, so whilst facilities are amazing, we hadn't packed to fully appreciate them. Panorama lounge was a great view, it may change our minds on our standards when travelling again. Very professional staff, honestly I don't think anything would have been too much for them to do, if we had asked. Very close to tourist areas and to Seoul railway station.

Stayed for 3 nights with family. Got upgraded to a suite, which was very spacious. Location is fantastic, lots of dining options within 5 minutes walk. Transportation nearby, 2 palaces within 20 minutes walking. Myeongyong shopping street is also maybe 12-15 minutes walking away. Sauna on the 16th floor is great, with 2 hot tub, a cold tub and a dry sauna. I definitely recommend.

I booked a deluxe room for 6 nights and it was amazing.
Such a good view of the city from my room on top floor.
Very spacious and clean. It Would be big enough for 2-3 people ..
Excellent shower and the room came with a fridge, safe and iron .
The staff were also very friendly and helpful to any help or questions I had.

Happened to find Fraser Place Namdaemun in searching through the various listings on Expedia and so glad I did! All of the staff were super nice/attentive and I really felt so at home having so many great amenities at my finger tips. It's a small request but would have loved to have a little dish rack/dish towel in the kitchenette to make clean up a bit more tidy.

The hours of the fitness center and spa and rooftop were limited so we did not get to use them during our stay.

Perfect location with numerous dining options nearby. The spacious, clean room offers comfort, and it’s conveniently close to bus stops and the metro station. I particularly appreciate that their premier suites include a washer, which is very convenient for longer stays. The hotel staff are friendly and professional, making the experience even better. Convenient location, staff were friendly. I ordered room service several times. The food was good, and staffs were kind. Room was spacious.

I would have appreciated more if the housekeeping was done more thoroughly, including cleaning or replacing cups.

The chair at the desk was very uncomfortable. No room for legs.

Also, I felt odd how they charged a tiny toothpaste, although I stayed over 7 nights. All other hotels in Korea gave toothpaste for free. Strange stingy policy.

I would still go back, because the location is really convenient for my business trip.

This is solidly a four star hotel in terms of its design, intent, presentation and delivery. The hotel is in an excellent location and has large rooms. Our room had a kitchen with a separate seating area and a separate dining area, which was a known bonus. Our room was really clean and we would stay here again.

It is also worth mentioning that this hotel had a sauna on the top floor with indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Very nice overall.
