The room didn’t have window. It was cramped tiny room with poor ventilation. I felt claustrophobic and very uncomfortable. Also no bed sheets, just a duvet on the bed. Bathroom had a mold. Needs a lot of cleaning!

Weird, nauseating smell that permeated the room, couldn’t open window to air it out. Black and pink mold all through the bathroom. Strange stains on walls. Bed not comfy. When I find myself wiping grime and dust off an aircon while on holiday so I can try and sleep without sneezing and coughing, that’s a final straw. We moved accommodation 1 night into a 3 night stay. You have a good location - invest in the renovations.

The location was very convenient and right across Namdaemun Market only 10mins walk to myeongdong. City Hall Metro is also only 8mins walk away too. The airport limousine bus stop is only around the corner. The room was clean. The owner is lovely and laundry available on site also.

I loved the location of the hostel because it was very close to the airport bus station and other popular attractions! So the location was very convenient. However, the room wasn’t super clean and I felt like it could’ve been cleaner but it seems as if they didn’t put enough effort to make it cleaner. Overall, it was an okay stay!

For the price I paid it met all my needs and I had a good stay. I was just looking for a place with privacy to shower and sleep. A few things to know. The the hotels on the 4th 5th and 6th floor. 6th floor is reception and also I think the owners live there so the kitchen area is there personal kitchen area. I would come in late and they would be having dinner. This didn't bother me though. The owner husband was very friendly and spoke English. The restaurant in the same building on the first floor had very delicious bibimpap (a rice bowl with a mix of beef and vegetables with an egg on top). If you arrive late they have your key waiting on the counter so you can go to your room when you arrive. It is just a few buildings down side street. However the sign is not lighted so if you come in late you it is the 3 gate

Close to the South Gate traditional market, the city hall, the palaces, pickup point for the city tour bus, walking distance to the central train station, galleries, etc. You can use the on-site washer and dryer on the top floor. There is a small shared kitchen.
Cons: really small rooms, small bathrooms. There was no one during check-in. The older gentleman walked by without saying a word or providing information until I asked in Korean.
For the price and the convenient location, it was worth 3 stars.

When I went back to the hostel in night, the young guy who was at check in counter in the afternoon was not seen, only an old lady there who didn't understand English, I was asking about the laundry service since it was mentioned that there were laundry facilities on the booking page. The old lady said I could use the washing machine but I had to hang my clothes dry by using hanging rack, only if the clothes couldn't be dried in the morning then only I could use the dryer, the reason was because if I put the clothes that was just done washing into the dryer, it would take a long time to dry and so much of electricity would be used. This was very ridiculous to me that an operator rejected the guest from using the facility just to save on electricity.
Besides, the bedsheet of the bed was very dusty like it was never cleaned and changed at all. I would never came back to this hostel again. I hope that the operator could improve on the service.

Second time staying here and just as easy/comfy as last time. I really like the location and the staff person was very friendly. The space was just right. I like that there is a hot/cold water station in the hallway. It could be jarring for some regarding the bathroom as it’s the entire room.

Air conditoner was bad so we suffered from warm room. Unfortunately when you take out the room key everything shuts down so when you return it takes very long time to get little air that we got from air conditioner. I loved the people who owned and managed the property. Location was very convenient and close to transportation.

I enjoyed my stay with my siblings, the rooms are a bit small but it was okay with us since we were out most of the time. The bathroom is fine, although I didnt really like that your silhouette can be seen, since its frosted glass. Area has lots of dinning, convenient stores around to that are close by. The Naedaemun market is just on the opposite side of a big street, Myeongdong is also like about a 15 mintue walk. Overall, enjoyed my stay! Thank you :)

Great location in Myeondong across from Namdaemun market. Best way to find it on Naver is VIP Tuna. If you’re using the public rail transportation and have luggage, go towards entrance of Deoksugung Palace for the elevator into the station (kind of across city hall). About the space… pretty basic accommodations with sheets/blanket and one pillow. It is a med firm pillow which I like. Bed was fine. Mini fridge with cups to use. Water in hallway. Towels provided are mini too. Bathroom is setup where the shower is the entire room once you step in with the sink feeding the shower head water. Surprisingly I liked the sprayer head and it hot hot enough. There are shower slippers and regular slippers. There was a little coat rack to hang up some stuff. Check in was easy and the front desk staff was friendly. For what I needed and the amount of time I actually was in the room it was great. I really liked the location and would stay here again especially as a solo traveler.

The service was amazing, friendly, proactive. They offered to let us use the washing mashine and tumble dryer for free. I went back late, they had put my clothes through the drier, so great. There's also a scale to check the luggages weight before check-in. They thought of everything, and for a reasonable price. A family business handled seriously. My wife and I loved it. Our whole korea trip was made more amazing because of this guesthouse. The owner was so hospitable to us. The rooms were not that big but it was good enough. I would like to recommend this guesthouse to everyone! :) The best!!!! Also the breakfast is sooooo good!

Overall, the hotel service was good. They gave us free upgrade to triple bed room from double bed room. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
The hotel was close to sub stations and market places, hence it was at a very accessible and convenient location.
The only minus point is the bathroom is too small and hence difficult to move around when bathing. Other than that, given the budgeted price, it was a reasonably good hotel and I may go back.

Fantastic First Experience of a Guesthouse..
I used to stay in hotels when I travel overseas. This was the first time in my life I tried staying in a guesthouse (or I also call it a hostel), and I must say I was very uneasy about this accommodation initially. However, it turns out to be FABULOUS experience. The manager at the guesthouse was very friendly and helpful. When you ask him something, if he don't know, he will search the internet for answers. And, if you need information of a certain product, not only will he help to find out the price and the shop address, he will also browse some online forums for user reviews and discounts.It was a great help as those forums are all in Korean language, for people like myself who don't understand Korean, will not be able to get hold of such reviews easily.
