Upon completion of its renovation in September 2018, Lotte Hotel Seoul Executive Tower will be reborn as a more sophisticated and elegant hotel, designed by the global interior company “GA, ” which will create a new standard for luxury hotels. In the newly opened Executive Tower, we will offer a variety of customized amenities and experiences that will tailor to a diverse range of guests such as a fantastic view of downtown Seoul, the latest facilities and modern designs, complimentary high speed wired/wireless internet access, super premium bedding system and Gastaldi bedding with Egyptian cotton.

It was our first time in Seoul, S. Korea. We were warmly welcomed at the Lotte hotel. My husband and I were upgraded to a suite where we found a very nice bottle of complimentary wine. We had to early tours and ordered breakfast room service - it was amazing. We would definitely return to Lotte Seoul.

This is our second trip to Korea and this is the second time we stayed at the Lotte executive tower. We love the hotel, the staff and the amenities. The room are spacious and we enjoyed the complimentary red wine. On this second visit, we also booked in daily breakfast. It is one of the best breakfast we have ever had, a great combination of western and Asian options. The rice noodle was my favorite, had for 4 days I was there. We wish to express our thanks for the wonderful experience. We definitely will be back again.

I stayed here for 9 days this trip and 2 weeks in 2023. There was a humming inside my room and outside in the hallways. Not sure if there is construction happening but the condition of the rooms seemed a little shabbier than last year. I didn’t notice last year how some of the walls in the rooms are thin. I heard the couple next to me getting frisky one night and it woke me up at midnight. So gross. Trying to fight jet lag and being woken up left me upset plus the humming in the room really didn’t help. Mold in the bathroom grates was particularly unsanitary looking. Thought they upgraded one of our rooms, the view from that room was the side of a building. It was slightly bigger but I’m not sure if it was better for just one person using the room. Nonetheless, it was a positive experience due to the location. Unsure if I will book this hotel the next time. We book two separate room for over a week at a time which is a big dedication for one holiday.

I stayed here with my girlfriends on a prior trip and decided to stay here again on this trip with my mom. Conveniently located in Myeongdong near all the tourist attractions with a metro stop right in front of the hotel if you want to leave the area. Got a free upgrade at check in and it was a treat!

Service completely lacking for a 5 star hotel. No one offered to help with our luggage, literally just stared at us as we were struggling with our suitcases. Any staff we talked to were courteous but not friendly or welcoming. Both days we went for breakfast, we were greeted with “we are closing at 10 am”. Comical. We stayed in the a premiere room in the hotel's executive tower. This was the only hotel we stayed at during our trip where the picture of the room on the website looked exactly like the room. The Lotte hotel's location is superb for those exploring the Myeongdong area, but beyond that, it falls short of five-star expectations. Renovations are overdue, as the interior feels outdated and lacks the luxury expected of a top-tier hotel. Additionally, the repetitive breakfast menu over four days and unpleasant restroom odors were disappointing. I'm hesitant to consider this hotel for future stays.

Disappointing, upsetting, BED BUGS at a 5 star hotel!!! The staff was not sympathetic, caring or took accountability. There was a front desk manager who was helpful, but that was about it. My body is covered with bites and after that it pretty much ruined my trip!
