had a great stay at Line Hotel Myeongdong! The room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable for two people, with enough space to relax after a long day of exploring. The location is honestly perfect — it’s super close to the subway, the airport bus stop, and just steps away from Myeongdong Street. Everything you need is within walking distance, which made our trip so convenient and stress-free.

Even when we got home late at night, there were still restaurants open until 5am, so we never had to worry about finding food. It made the whole experience even better!

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Clean room, but no air conditioning (just heating) which is fine for the winter, but with 4 people in a room it just got way too hot. Room and washroom also very small, but this hotel is in an amazing location in the middle of seoul so pretty much what you would expect.

The location is excellent and very convenient. The room was acceptable for the price, however the walls had many visible stains, which affected the overall presentation. The staff were not very helpful when assistance was requested. I asked for help calling a taxi, but was advised they could only assist with taxis to the airport. Additionally, the lift to the reception was frequently packed, as the building is shared with other tenants, including a large and very busy hotpot restaurant.

I've stayed at the Line Hotel in January and experienced a similar visit where my shower walls were unclean and had \"dried boogers\" on them. This visit in October, my bathroom walls were covered in various spots of black mold on the tiles and the showerhead. The room walls were stained and dirty. I spoke to the front desk and was assured it would be cleaned the next day. It took 2 complaints for housekeeping to come and bleach the walls and change out the shower head. Unfortunately my cousin's room was much worse with the same complaints and not cleaned. They had to stay in the mild and dirt for 7 days.

Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend

This was our first time visiting Korea, and unfortunately, our experience at The Line Hotel Myeongdong was extremely disappointing. From the moment we checked in, the condition of our room did not meet basic cleanliness or maintenance standards.

The walls were visibly dirty, with noticeable marks and grime. The bathroom was even worse, with black mold growing around the sink and along the floor edges, indicating that it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. The shower head and floor had red water stains, which further showed poor cleaning and maintenance.

We also found stains on the original bed sheets, which made us uncomfortable using them. The lighting in the room was terrible; only one of the two sensor lights worked, and the other was burnt out.

We requested a room change, but the front desk denied our request. My husband asked if someone could at least clean the mold and walls due to health concerns, but housekeeping never came despite our repeated requests.

We tried to find other hotels nearby, but everything was fully booked, so we had no choice but to stay for the full week, which felt far too long given the poor conditions.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service made what should have been a memorable first trip to Korea a very unpleasant experience.

Very average hotel. Check in past 3pm. No rooms are cleaned till after 4pm (makes no sense) as you come back to dirty room. No water given everyday. No heating. It was 4 degrees and freezing. You shower over the sink and everything gets wet. Stay here only for the location.

Location was fine, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of myeongdong, but the rooms were not like the pictures. Marks on the walls, humidity in the room despite the a/c being on all night was unbearable that we only spent one of the three nights there and moved to another hotel without a refund. Staff didn’t seem to care.

Line Hotel Myeongdong was conveniently located just a few streets away from the main shopping street of Myeongdong. It was clean, tidy, and new towels were provided every day. The room had good air conditioning and water pressure and the mini fridge kept our items very cold.

We booked the standard double room without a window — just be aware the room is very small, there is no floor or table space to open a luggage completely, it must be done on the bed. There is also no separate shower area, the shower wand is handheld and must be used next to the sink.

Very convenient. Close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. The room was clean and there was a small fridge in the room with free bottled water. The front desk was also helpful with questions.

The bathroom was a wet bath, so I do wish that either the curtain was longer or there was something to keep the water contained to half the bathroom, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I also would’ve liked an off switch for the motion sensor light over the door because it would light up the entire room if anyone went to the bathroom at night.

I probably had the best room for the view on my floor but the air in my room wasn’t so good. I had trouble breathing the first night and constant noise of people sneaking to the open window in the hallway next to my room to smoke or something kept waking me up. The steakhouse was below my room so there was constant low noise from people talking until the restaurant closed. I was on the F floor, the 4th floor which translates to death in Korean reserved for unsuspecting foreigners. Excellent location and convenient to everything but I probably wouldn’t stay here because of the air quality and the interruptions. Still gave them a 4.5 out of 5 since it’s an amazing location.

Stayed in a superior twin room for 6 days here. It was an overall good stay, the room is a little small for it being called “superior” but it has a nice big window and daily cleaning of the room which was nice. The only annoying thing about this hotel is the elevator. Since the building has 2 restaurants below the hotel, there is always a wait for the elevator which was kind of annoying since the location is so busy. If you don’t mind the busy atmosphere then you’ll love it! If it’s your first time in Seoul this hotel is great to explore food and shopping! It’s close to airport bus stops and 2 different subway stations. It is walking distance from some great attractions too! If you want to shop and eat this is the perfect hotel for you!

Picture of room advertised on Expedia looked new but the room we got was completely the opposite, we felt duped. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the bustling city…lots of shopping and dining options in the area, literally one after the other serving traditional Korean cuisine or a mix of western and traditional dishes.
Only downside is the hotel itself is located on the 5th floor of the building… the building is shared with restaurants they’re located on the lower floors.
You have to take the lift to the 5th floor to check in which is a bit inconvenient specially when you have luggages with you.
Rooms are decent size with basic amenities. Good value for money specially if you just need a place to take a shower and crash after a long day’s worth of going around Seoul.
However, if you’re after a staycation of some sort, then maybe this is not the right place for you.

We booked rooms for 8 people for 6 days and it went well! We booked for 4 rooms with 2 twin beds in each and surprising one of them was a triple bedroom. We had no problem with that.

Rooms were cleaned everyday and we were given new towels daily. Spacious, with a rack for clothes, desk, chair, and a mini fridge. The only problem we had was that the smell from the restroom was a bit smelly and it stank up the room a bit, otherwise everything was ok.

Recommend for those who want to stay in lively area. Every night there is a night market and variety of shopping and restaurants around. Right next to subway, bus stops, and money exchange!

My biggest problem was toilet paper not to be flushed instead put in basket next to toilet & emptied daily which I didn’t know prior to arrival If you can get over this, the room was extremely quiet to say it’s in the middle of Meyoungdong.

The room was very small and no where to place luggage or belongings other than a very small table with ability to hang a couple of articles of clothing outnin the open. The bathroom was a shower and toilet wirh sink all in one and there were several bloody boogers smuged on the walls when i first ealked in which means it was not thoroughly cleaned.

If you like shopping and want to eat street foods, this is the right place. You are right in the middle of the shopping mecca, but yet our room was quiet. You have to walk a little bit to reach the subway station but help us to burn some calories:) Not too far from many places to visit. Will go back to this hotel.

Super convenient location with two subway stops less than a 5 minute walk away; building also has 2 restaurants and is surrounded by cafes. Cannot stress the convenience of the hotel enough - felt like we were literally in the middle of everything in Seoul. The room was sufficient for 3 adults, and was cleaned often with new towels daily. The facilities were not super new (e.g. older toilet, ageing wallpaper, old carpet, etc.) but everything worked perfectly fine.

We booked 4 nights at Line hotel through Expedia system. The booking was confirmed. When we arrived to the hotel, the staff said they can not find our reservation. It took a long time for him to tell us that our reservation was canceled, and there was no room for us that night. We contacted Expedia, and been told that Line Hotel canceled our reservation. We were “homeless’ in a rainy dark night in a foreign country. It was very unpleasant. Expedia staff was not helpful at all. We are very disappointed with Expedia hotel booking! Line Hotel staff helped us to found a room somewhere else for the night. So far no one took responsibility, not hotel nether Expedia!

Such a convenient location! It’s a minute walk away from Euljiro-1ga station and about a 5 minute walk to Myeongdong station. There was a bit of construction happening on the ground floor of the building, but once you get to the lobby on the 5th floor, it’s unnoticeable. Because of the virus, the counter was empty and quiet, but after about a minute of making sure we didn’t check in on our own, a staff came out to check us in - very quick and efficient! Her English was natural. The rooms were tiny, but it was the perfect size for me and my friend in the double bed room. The room was clean, except for our sink drain which might have been broken - we had to take it out and clean it of all the gunk. And besides the beds feeling a little stiff, we had a wonderful stay - I would definitely go back based on the convenience!

The hotel is in very good location near the metro station Euljiuro 1-ga, less than a min! Walking distance to the Myeongdong shopping area, a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, very convenient!
The twin room is very small, but it’s expected, so we have no issue with it! The hotel is new and very clean, would recommend to all who wants to stay around that area!

Could not connect to the WiFi and the television is broken down, so nothing can be shown on the tv. We’ve informed the hotel staff. Although they said they were going to fix it the next day, nothing was fixed.
We stayed there for 5 nights but they didn’t clean up our room for the last two nights, which the rubbish was remained in the room for three consecutive days.

シャワーカーテンがないので、ゴム草履が置いてあります。

タオルの棚が斜めになっていて今にも外れそうだった。

トイレットペーパーを交換したら、ホルダーが壁から外れそうになった。

室内清掃は気になりませんでした。

立地重視の細かい事に拘らない、ホスピタリティを求めない方には良いと思います。

客房乾淨舒適！但朋友的房間稍小！我住的405空間蠻大的行李箱可完全攤平！樓下就有海底撈想吃的話還蠻方便的！冷氣空調夠涼爽！距離車站不用兩分鐘

繁華街の近くということもあり、周りの環境から少し臭いがきつい印象を受けました。気にならない方は便利なので良いかもしれません。
