Excellent stay at Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong!
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Myeongdong, surrounded by many restaurants, shops, and street food stalls. The rooms are very clean, modern, and comfortable, with a nice view of the city.

The staff is very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. I would also like to mention the lady who was responsible for cleaning my room — she was extremely professional and took care of all my requests with great attention.

It’s an ideal hotel for exploring Seoul, whether for shopping, sightseeing, or easy access to public transportation. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul

The shower head- rainfall type and the handheld type did not work. When we used the handheld type, the rainfall type was also raining down water on us. We informed the staff. The maintenance came and did something. They thought they had repaired the issue. However, this issue was not resolved completely. We continue to bathe with the handheld type with the rainfall type raining down on us. We informed the staff that the repair was not completely done. however, this was to no avail.

For my daughter's room, the aircon diffuser produced sound in the room. The maintenance staff came and checked. He advised my daughter to wake up in the middle of the night and to repair herself. :).
However, one possible thing about the hotel: the service/ response to every request was very fast and prompt.

The room was super clean and nice. There is free bottled to drink anytime, and you can get more at the front desk or have them bring it to the room anytime. They also had a paystation to buy straykids t money cards! Walkable distance to TONS of shopping and food. Also right on the bus line! The staff was super helpful and spoke english fluently. There is also a 7/11 connected to the hotel so last night snack runs are quick and easy. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone!

Probably one of the best hotel my family and I have stayed in Seoul and in SE Asia. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful The only issue was the room temperature was hot. My family and I were sweating during the evenings while sleeping. Our stay at Lotte City Hotel was during December. The hotel was near the train station and walking distance to Myeongdong shopping district.

Well, the rooms are small and old. Especially, the bathrooms have an old, tired look. The breakfast doesn't look appetizing, so we didn't opt for it. The service staff are okay, not as warm as we expected. The location was good, right beside the subway.
