Great location once you figure out how to find it (use Hotel Venue G as landmark). The room was very clean, quiet, spacious and included all basic amenities. The staff was great and super helpful. They provided us with a converter, shower curtain and extra comforter as the bed was too firm for my friend. Overall a great stay.

I think if you are coming South Korea for the first time, finding this Hotel is really tricky, so doesn’t really set the best mood for the stay, but once you find it eventually, you then know how to find it quicker next time.

The place is just very outdated, needs a refresh and just some improvements. Our bedsheets had stains on them, the place wasn’t fully cleaned, there was dust and dirt in places that shouldn’t be there, even if you do a quick clean you would see those areas are still dirty. The wardrobe wasn’t really clean, pipes were exposed. There were 4 pillows in total, you could tell which ones were old and which one was new from the colour of them.

This is just my opinion but the air con unit was placed in a way where the air would blow on us when laying down in bed, unless you try your best to direct it downwards, but I can imagine after some time, to feel the air con straight on you, may not feel the best.

Overall, the experience wasn’t what I expected after seeing the rating online and reviews so was quite disappointed. I only stayed 1 night and changed hotels, which the new hotel I was really pleased with! The staff did say they would upgrade me because of the issues, but I did ask them at check in time are there any upgrades available and they said no and that they were fully booked, but it didn’t seem like they were fully booked when they offered us an upgrade.

Okay place if you just want to stay somewhere cheap and not really fussed about the room.

The front staff was very friendly and the area is convenient to walk to Myeongdong and to the subway station. Room was spacious and clean. Very centrally located and not far from the main road. It is behind a building but that also meant it was quiet. Easy to walk to Ikseon-dong or Myeongdong. Water and towels were provided each day. They were happy to lend us a charging adapter because we forgot to bring ours. Ice is available on the first floor. Laundry is available on the top floor. Only gripe was that there was no shower curtain or glass to keep the bathroom dry while showering. But it was a minor issue as the bathroom was large so mostly stayed dry.

The room was simple, but very spacious and tidy. The staff were also very nice and welcoming. They were accommodating when I arrived from a later flight (after midnight). The location was also quite convenient, as it was an easy walk to a bus stop or metro. The only complaint I have is it is hard to find the location initially, as it is located in an alley. Easiest way to locate it (especially by taxi/uber) is to look up ‘Hotel Venue G’. Then you will easily notice a sign that points to the direction of the hotel.

The only thing that lets this hotel down is the road access to it! Such a shame as once you are in the hotel it is very clean, welcoming and perfect for solo travellers. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the breakfast is straightforward (but great for setting you up for the day), and for what you pay everything is good value. Great central location, easy to walk and reasonably near to the subway, although taxis are reasonably priced and accessible. Overall a very good stay

Great location in Jongno-3ga. Airport Limo pick up & drop off within a few minutes walk. Between Jongno-3 and Euljiro-3 stations and 2 mins from Cheonggyecheon stream. The room was basic, but met my needs for a home base. The only shortcoming was a lack of storage space for clothing. There was a small wardrobe, but no dresser. For 1 person that was fine, but you'd struggle for 2 people. Quiet, clean with a great location. Met all my needs. Would stay again.

Actually it was quite clean. I just emailed them directly that I did see the gap between the mini ref shelf and the wall having been dusty and with a trash candy wrapper or something. But that's because I happened to see it. Overall, I would describe the room and the whole hotel as clean and neat. The smart display and tech toilet are cool. Your choice to have the room made up or not, and they really do it if you choose. I love how old school it is in that the room is very big, the amenities include a big vanity table with a kettle, mugs, mirror, hair dryer..big chair and 2 big ottoman stools. Bed was very comfortable. TV didn't work but I didn't care to ask for help because I don't need a tv. The airconditioning was perfect and the big windows looking out at buildings gave a nice view. Blackout curtains really good. I like how it is a small boutique hotel...location is quiet & safe, close to subway stations, bus stops, plus the airport limo bus stop! And walkable to tour sights & shops and everything. The staff is nice, simple, no-nonsense, straightforward. Helpful when you ask, and there's always someone at the reception counter. The laundry machines seemed brand new! I had to buy my own detergent from the convenience store outside but that's fine. It was fun doing laundry on the roof deck garden with the view of surrounding office buildings as the sun set over Seoul.I would choose Nafore again, and that says a lot considering how many other hotels there are around Seoul.

It has to be one of the better hotels in Myeongdong, worthy of a 4 star rating. The rooms were generous and very nicely presented, bathroom was a reasonable size, toilet has a bidet. Hotel has a lift which is really important. The foyer was nice, staff was nice, professional and helpful. Check in was easy. The entrance to the building was a bit tricky to find, especially if checking in at night for the first time, but not bad.

The room was far too hot at night time especislly due to the central heating and not being able to individually adjust room temperature. As a result, we had to open the windows with temperatures around minus 10 degrees Celsius outside. The clash between the two led to us getting a serious chest infection and ruined a significant part of our holiday. The staff were pleasant enough but they said there was not much they could do about the situation.
Apart from that the hotel is in a central location and the shower was powerful and the best part of the service.
The room decor was in need of TLC and the breakfast needs to be more authentic to be worth the charge.

Even though hotel is located in a small street and has no particular view, at least from the room I occupied, it is at a walking distance to tourists sightseeing and famous commercial area.
Breakfast was standard, nothing exceptional.
The hotel is fairly clean and staff was very nice.
I would surely consider this hotel amoung my future choices if I will visit Seoul again.

Our first room was dirty and not as advertised, so we requested a second. The second smelled like smoke, so we requested a third, which was (finally) satisfactory. In addition to ensuring rooms are clean, Hotel Nafore should put curtains in the showers, because it's impossible to shower without getting the bathroom floor wet. Breakfast is okay, but could be better. (More fruit options, better pastries). Overall, a decent experience, particularly for its proximate location and price point.

Amazing stay in Seoul

Overall one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed during my trip. Location was great since it was just a couple minutes away from the nearest station. Price-wise this might be one of the best deals so far, all things considered. Staff was friendly and helpful. Love the “do not disturb” and “make room” options on the room pad. Spacious room with a somewhat decent view of the surrounding city buildings. Highly recommend.

There's no shower curtain in the bathroom which caused some imconvenience in the first two days but the hotel can provide a curtain upon request which is good. There's water keep leaking from the bottom of the bathtub which makes the floor very wet. We need to walk carefully every time we use the toilet. The towels have a very strong smell of breach so feel very uncomfortable when using them.

The location is just a little bit difficult to work out based on google maps but once we found the place and all the alleyways that can be used to get to it, the location proved to be very handy to everything. It is near a bus stop to/from the airport so it is really very convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is very convenient, just a short walk to Jongno(3)ga station, which is connected with 3 subway lines. Our room is spacious and comfortable. Best part - you can control the lights and air-conditioner easily on a remote controller! The facilities are clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. :) The hairdryer provided is one of the best ones I've used in hotels, and the body wash is non-drying and smells super nice. The route to the hotel from the subway station can be rather dark at night due to minimal street lights, but it's still a pretty safe area. Overall, we are very happy with our stay here and will return the next time we visit Korea!

The hotel staff members were always friendly and helpful. They were the best part of this hotel. The room was always very clean and big enough for our long trip but no safe or iron inside. And it’s a Korean style shower with no curtain so be ready for that. Breakfast was pretty decent. Yogurt and ramen served on the weekend only!

We loved our stay at the nafore hotel! They were really accommodating! My husband and I were suppose to join our friend in korea and he got there earlier than us. I called the hotel asking if it was ok if our friend could check in first because our flight was delayed and the receptionist was very helpful and said there was no problem.
