The location is ideal. 15 mins walking distance to Myeongdong Street. Other than that nothing to shout about. Amenities in the room is bad. Nothing was provided. The toilet looked like a one star hotel. The room temperature couldn't be adjusted. During winter either you leave the heater running which will be hot till death or you off it and opened the window to get some cold air. The floor is very dirty. We staying there for 3 nights and they telling us outright no change of towel until Day 2. And they only change towel and not room cleaning. Will not come back to this hotel anymore.

The location was great, really took just 3mins to walk to Euljiro 3ga station. It’s also walkable to Myeondong, Lotte World but it takes around 15-20mins depending on your walking speed.

We didn’t like the TV, was not able to watch any shows. Not a smart tv, cannot be connected to YouTube/Netflix etc. Also, they have a unique policy of changing the linens and clearing trash every 2-3 days, which was not expected. One of the reason why we chose a hotel stay this time is so that we can come back to a fresh linen everyday.

However, other than that, we were okay with the stay

Our first room was horrible - mouldy, dirty, and with leftover rubbish. When we told the reception staff they were very apologetic but did not seem surprised. The new room they gave us was better and much cleaner, but still smelled of mould. The best thing about the hotel was how close it was to a convenient train station, which made getting around Seoul very easy. If not for that and for how kind and helpful the staff were when we had questions, we would have left.

The location is great. The room was ok ...i believe compared to other places in Seoul, it was big enough for thr 2 of us. Though the bathroom was built into the room with glass walls which was a bit weird and unsettling esp since I was travelling with my son.
The other biggest niggle for me was the cleaning. Please know that while you can pick up fresh towels and cups from the Reception, they do not clean the room daily. We found this icky because we would use cups, cutlery etc as well as of course used tissues in the toilet were not cleaned out till we started asking for it everyday. Even then, trash didn't get taken out and the vacuum was definitely not done in the entire week we were there.

Other than that, it was great. Right next to the Line 2 subway that you need to go anywhere.
Also had the Wowpass machine in the lobby which was very convenient for us and we used thr DMZ tour advertised at the hotel since we got a hotel pickup.
The folks at the lobby were quite responsive. We didn't have breakfast so no idea about the food available there.

Great location and perfect for a couple of touristy days in Seoul. My only gripe is that when I tried to buy a coffee at breakfast a member of staff literally shooed me away. He later came over to tell me it wasn’t free and I had to pay, even though I had approached the machine credit card in hand. Aside from him, everyone was delightful and I would thoroughly recommend the hotel!

I had a great stay at Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro in Seoul. The hotel is in an excellent location—just a short walk from Myeongdong shopping street and close to Euljiro 3-ga subway station (about 15 seconds walking), which makes getting around the city very convenient. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak good English, which made check-in and any questions very easy.

Overall, it’s a great value for the price—comfortable accommodation in the heart of Seoul with easy access to shopping, dining, and public transportation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul.

The stay at Travelodge puts you in a fantastic location that leaves many Seoul must-see areas within walking distance and the line 2 metro about a minute’s walk away. The hotel itself is bang in average, the rooms are fairly small, they provide cleaning services only in the third day of the stay, and the facilities are a bit old and tired (some of the grouting in the bathroom had turned black for example). The gym is small but functional and the laundry room is similar. Drinking water must be collected from water purifier stations by the lifts.

Staff are welcoming enough. Location is good and is very close to the subway. Hotel is about a 15 min walk to the myeongdong shopping district. Room is relatively clean and covers the basics but no clothing iron in the room. Found an old pair of socks in the cabinet. There is the inhouse laundry room that has 2 washers, 2 dryers, and 2 clothing irons and boards. Detergent and dryer sheets are available in the vending machine in the laundry room. Payment via cc. Stay is 4/5.

Andrew and everyone else at the front desk (I’m terrible at remembering names…sorry) are very helpful. They even helped me get a taxi and talked to the tour guide for more precise directions. I purchased a breakfast for my sister only since I don't eat breakfast. The gentleman at the cafe offered me a free bread and coffee. Thank you to the staff of Travelodge Myeongdong Eulji-ro! Stayed 1 night on arrival in Seoul. Conveniently located 3 minutes from exit 12 of euljiro 3 ga station on Supyo-ro, or exit 1. The nearest bus stop to reach this hotel from Incheon International is Pine Avenue (Euljiro 2 ga) using the 6015 limousine bus.

My room wasn't too shabby, although the room had no shampoo or conditioner. So I had to go across the road to get them from CU. Also, my towel had a hole in it :(.

However, glasses in the room had lipstick on them (not ours) and the shower could’ve used a good scrub. Location is good, short walk to shopping and the metro station right outside. The Staff were all very helpful. It's a no-frills hotel. I would recommend as an ideal base for a anyone looking to spend most of their time out of the hotel and exploring Seoul.

This property can’t be beat for the price point. The staff at the front were super helpful with a variety of questions we directed at them. They allowed us to leave our luggage in the lobby when we first arrived as we got there before check in time. The bidet in the bathroom was really nice, but they also discourage flushing toilet paper down the commode so that was a minor inconvenience. Location was great and walkable to restaurants, subway, bus stops, cafes, etc. Close enough to be about a 15min walk from some of the bigger shopping areas and touristy spots but far out enough that it was never loud or disruptive outside. There is a large property next door that they’re doing construction work on so there was some unwelcome loud banging and hammering noises super early in the morning, like before 7a at times, but there’s not much the hotel can do about that. Also, pillows were terrible. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s in a safe and great location with respect to the airport express bus, the metro line, and the Myeongdong Night Market. We only stayed for 1 evening and the staff was extremely helpful and helped answered our questions. Amenities were good and perfect for the 1-night stay. Stayed here 2 times already throughout my trips to Seoul only because it’s a very convenient location being in the centre and pretty much walkable and closer to a train station. Staff were nice and helpful. Room not so much! I had the same expectation as i had the first however, during my recent stay our room was clean from the first glance but looking closely the furnitures have major rust damage and even worse I looked underneath our bed and found thick layers of dust and other small items left behind by past travelers!! Clearly our room hasn’t been cleaned and vacuumed thoroughly. As someone who have bad dust allergies this was a big no! I won’t consider coming back here, will take my business elsewhere. Thank you

Travelodge Myeongdong Eulijro is a nice hotel in a good location. About one hour and 25 minutes from Incheon on public transport. The room itself is well maintained though you can tell its age. Housekeeping has changed to be ecofriendly which is nice. Pillows could be more firn but that is personal preference.

We stayed 2 nights, went away for a few, then returned for an additional 5 nights. We appreciated that the front desk held our luggage for the nights we were away. The staff were friendly and helpful. Late checkout is 11,000 won per hour past noon. The hotel room is average with uncomfortable pillows. I feel like for the price we should've got better. Convenient laundry facilities. Not very many amenities otherwise (only tea/coffee, water fillers in the main area, and shampoo/body wash; there is no toothbrush/razor/q-tips as that is all paid in a vending machine on the first floor). You have to request the front desk for room cleaning. During our time there, they changed it to charge for full clean (I think it was 10,000 won if you wanted your sheets changed). Overall I was happy with the staff interactions, but not with the hotel itself. I would not consider coming back. I would look for a different hotel in the area as the area is great (maybe Lotte, or Four Points).

The Myeongdong Euljiro location is my preferred hotel. I like the convenience to the nearby shopping, dining, and subway lines. I do hope the hotel cleans the rooms a bit more as they were not the usual top clean. It would also be nice if the staff is a bit more friendly and not too serious. Still overall, I had a great stay and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Good place to stay in since its directly in front of two train lines that circle and loop around Seoul. Staff was accomodating and were available 24/7. Breakfast buffet was okay and they had a cafe that sold drinks up until 7pm. Convenience stores were lined up right by the hotel location as well so you could always get a late night snack or maybe even a meal.
