Great location - at first glance wasn’t sure I chose a good location; however, it’s ideally between insadong and myeongdong and several sites. Nearby food and amenities. Staff were super kind and thoughtful with many complimentary drinks. My only note is the cleaniness in the bathroom could have been a bit better - still the staff were really thoughtful

The staff is very very attentive. As far as the room it was very good for the price. The only problem would be a little smell that I think comes from the plumbing, but other then that it was walking distance to a lot of stores. It make look a bit sketchy but it’s is a good place to stay in and it allowed me to have a calmer trip.

The room was clean and nice. The toilet layout was kinda strange, where the wash basin is in a separate section but no issues. I love the heated toilet bowl since the weather was cold. Overall very nice the staff was helpful and polite, helped me with a super early check in too. but I think i was just lucky the room was vacant. Despite the concern of noise due to the busy nightlife around stated in the reviews, it was not noisy at all, Slept well! There are many good restaurants near by and some are 24 hours!

We are in our 60s, traveling on a budget, and value modesty and honesty. This is our second hotel during our 26-day trip. We can say that it has all the necessary amenities, the price is very reasonable, and the location is excellent. The staff is attentive and quick to resolve any issues.

When booking, I always read reviews, and I feel it’s important to mention that this hotel is located above a bar with karaoke that runs from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. If you love loud music and nightlife, this place will be ideal for you. However, if you’re like me and go to sleep early—around 9 p.m.—even with ear pods and two sleeping pills, the noise was overwhelming, and I felt like a walking mummy the next day.

Fortunately, the staff kindly moved me to a room without windows, for which I was very grateful. The shower pressure and cleanliness were excellent. It pains me to mention the noise issue because the staff was so accommodating, but honesty is important. I will still rate this hotel highly for their effort and kindness. Please, always be truthful in advertising, as this detail significantly affected our stay.

Pros: central location, close to everything.
Self check in, if you arrive after hours.Full set of toiletries is included. Clean bed and towels. Big shower room and a free standing tub. Complementary water in the fridge.
Cons: outside noise-hotel is above a karaoke bar or similar - a pair of good ear plugs is a must. The phone connects to the front desk only, the attendant did not speak English.The room was supplied with the insect repellant. We got a few stings, but unsure what it was( flees?)

I like the location of the hotel. Very convenient Bus ride from the airport to the closest drop off point to the hotel. And the availability of the public transit close to the hotel, is also a plus for me on this stay. Although, it was a bit loud and noisy at night, I still feel it was a good stay for us.

I liked the hotel/room’s eclectic design (contemporary, vintage and use of marble).
The room looked much nicer in person.
Is centrally located and accessible to public transit.
Just remember, it is above a comedy club/karaoke. I didn’t mind the loudness and appreciated the lively/vibrant surrounding.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. A little noisy as it is directly above a comedy club, but nothing overly bad unless you need absolute silence to sleep. Staff was incredibly friendly the entire stay and helpful as needed. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping in Seoul as well as transportation. I would stay here again.

Great for solo or friends trip. Not recommended for family. But room is actually quite big.
Good heating in the room, and there's an attic in our room

Very noisy as located near bars and restaurants. The window was in the bathroom and even with double glazing you could still hear the outside music really loud. The place had a bath which was not necessary should have been closet space. Really hot in the room and smelled funny. It was cheap for the room but you can find better without the noise.

I needed to crash for a night to catch an early flight the next morning so this worked for me location wise as well. The front desk person was very nice and helped me with door locks etc.
However, the property has physical issues with the way the rooms have sewage pipes running into them and the smell of sewage is constantly entering the rooms. I did not expect this. There is a lot happening so there is noise which I expected but the smell was something I could not overcome. Never would stay here again even if it were just a night.

It was a great cheap stay in Seoul. The bed was comfortable the shower was right with pressure I couldn’t fault it at all for the price and I’m picky! It was in a great area easy to get around train station super close and great food everywhere. I would definitely stay here again. Also the gentleman was super friendly! If your coming from the airport I would definitely take the 6002 bus drops you off super close about a 1 min walk and cost about $17 aus

Good: the gentleman who at the front desk is very helpful and friendly. I wasn’t able to check in until 1am due to a delayed flight and when I struggled to unlock my room, he came out to help me. Located near subway stations and in a main area. Decent amenities.

Bad: the hotel is on top of a bar and it can get really loud. AC wasn’t that cold and it was noisy. Big step to get to the bathroom/toilet/sink. The pictures for the room showed a bath but unfortunately there wasn’t one. No window in the room so the air seemed a bit stale and no natural sunlight to let you know what time it is.

Good points:
The bathroom was clean and had electronic bidet toilet.
Toothbrush was provided.
Phone charger was provided.
Good access to tour spots and transportation.

Needs improvement:
Sleeping gowns were provided, but the garment was rough and itchy.
The air conditioner was loud. (We were able to sleep through it though)

Other notes:
The room did not have a window, but we only used the room for sleeping so it was not a problem.

Location was great and room had everything. There was also an older man i only passed twice but both times he was so sweet and very nice.

Air con was so loud and tv only went up to a certain volume and was quiet so had to decide if i wanted air con or tv as couldn't do both with how loyd it was. Tv is also in an awkward place so had to lie down the bottom of the bed to watch it. Check in seemed rushed with no information what so ever. Was also there for 6 nights and had house keeping once but bedding wasnt touched. Room also had a sewer like smell after every time the shower was used.

Enjoyed Seoul by staying at this centrally located hotel.

Located on top of a bar, they had piano and sax covers going, so it can get loud throughout the day and especially at night. I used ear plugs and was able to sleep fine.

They provided two water bottles daily for the first couple days.
- They provided a charger adapter/converter so you don't have to buy one.
- In addition to shampoo, conditioner and body wash they provide other amenities like toothbrush, comb, soap, shaving gel, etc.
- My TV had hundreds of channels that I could surf through.
- Room came with a desk, refrigerator and dresser.

This is a very well located hotel right in the heart of Jonggag. Insadong is a 10 minute walk away, the subway is a 2 minute walk away, lots of restaurants and bars directly around the area.

If you've got a family, you're elderly or you don't like noise, this may not be the property for you because there's a lot of loud music coming from the bar at the bottom floor of the property. You will hear that noise past 10:30pm on various nights and even with the windows closed it will still come through. It wasn't a deal breaker for me but others may find it annoying if they're trying to get sleep.

受付のスタッフはとても親切でした。
清掃はお願いしてやってもらいましたが、シャワールームとトイレ、バスタオルの追加だけでベッドは清掃無しでした。
すぐ隣がゲーセンで、パンチングマシーンがあるため夜中に利用していると少しうるさく感じました。
一階のライブハウスは潰れているようで、ライブハウスの騒音はありませんでした。

First I have to say, the staff was lovely and trying to help us as best as they could.

We started off with dirty sheets, which they changed while we were out.

The room itself was acceptably clean.
The towels had holes, which didn't feel too clean.

In general I think this hotel is a nice stay if you want to party at night and would like to be very central without stretching your budget.

It is very close to myeondong night market and has several train stations nearby so you can basically drive anywhere in about 20 minutes.

An absolute downside is the noise.
It isn't just loud, it feels like you basically have to sleep directly in the bar/comedy club below.

If you plan on sleeping you have to bring earplugs.

Overall it is ok anyways and the staff absolutely makes up for it.

地下鉄の入り口は近いし、食事にも困らない　明洞みたいに飲食店が何の専門なのかわからなくない　なんてことはなく、一人でも入りやすい店多いです。近隣オフィスで働く方の利用が多い。　部屋はきれいでインテリアもかわいい。一番気になったのは、音よりも窓から入る飲食店のにおい。　イカを焼いたような煙たいにおい。

部屋は1番上の階で、途中から階段でした。チェックインのときはホテルのおじさんが荷物運んでくれました。
おじさんが部屋の案内してくれてとっっても丁寧で優しい方でした！
部屋はアメニティも揃っていましたが、ユニットバス？シャワーとトイレがあるお部屋の外（ベッドの横）にバスタブがあったり屋根裏部屋？に続く階段があったりして謎のつくりでした。
シャワーの水圧はやや弱めで突然熱くなったり冷たくなったりするけどとても困るというほどでもないです。ドライヤーは普通に使えます。
ホテルの周りは飲み屋が多く繁華街ですが部屋は静かでした。隣の部屋の声やテレビの音も聞こえなくないですが神経質でなければ気にならないくらいです。
ホテルの方がいい方でしたし駅からも便利だったので、安く泊まりたいときはまた泊まってもいいかなと思いました。

一階に大きなカラオケと言うか　ステージで歌を歌うのだが　窓も壁も全開で大音量　夜中の12時くらいまで　ガンガン聞こえてくる。日本ではちょっと考えられない。
交通の便はたいへん良く　明洞まで歩くことも可能な距離でした。
部屋は大きく　天井も高い　なぜかドアの無い猫脚の　バスタブ
隣にはトイレとシャワー　天井は豪華なシャンデリア　バスタブが謎？
タオルも水もちゃんと補充してくれて　シャンプーなどは持っていかなくても　用意がしてあった。フロントの人も親切だった。
夜中のカラオケがなければ　また利用したいと思った。

受付の方が非常に親切でした。
5階の部屋だったためか、音はあまり気にならなかったですが、エアコンの音がうるさかったです。
掃除は行き届いてなかったので、気になる所は、持って行ったウェットティッシュで掃除しました。
とても便利な場所にあり、明洞に歩いて行けますし、ホテルのすぐ近くに飲食店が多数あります。

ベッドで眠れなかった…

5階の部屋でしたが1階の外では凄い音でしたが部屋では全く気にならなかったです。地下鉄1号線鐘路駅12番出口からすぐで周りは繁華街、ホテル前のチキン屋でテイクアウトして部屋で夕食。非常に残念なのがベッドで横になり1時間くらいすると手が痒くなり、その痒みがだんだん強くなり眠れなく3時頃にベッドを出るがまさか！と思い手を見ると赤い発疹が!! しかも布団をめくるとシーツの足元にカビの黒い点々が多数あり。もうベッドには戻れず。一睡も出来ず最悪です。次回は無いです。ですがチェックイン時のおじさんがとても親切で3階のフロントから5階の部屋まで案内してくれ部屋内の設備の説明もしっかりして下さり大変嬉しかっただけに非常に残念です。
