The hotel breakfast was delicious and was different everyday.
Had all the facilities that I needed and greatly located central of Seoul to be walkable to the markets and street foo. Would happily stay at the same place again!

We had a wonderful stay at Amid Insadong Hotel. The location is incredibly convenient—right in the heart of Insadong with easy access to sightseeing, shopping, cafes, and public transport, which made exploring Seoul so easy. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with really nice amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything felt thoughtfully set up for travelers. We would happily stay here again and hope to return on our next trip to Seoul!

Super well located to see most if not all the sites in this part of Seoul. And walkable - walkable to great little places to eat, markets, shopping, the palaces and public transport. Convenience is key positive characteristic of the hotel.

Unfortunately on arrival the lifts were out of order and we had to walk bags up to level 9. Thankfully this only inconvenienced us one night. Very little interaction with staff - other than room cleaning staff.
Only wish was for milk or english breakfast tea in the rooms - the ample supply of water was welcomed though.

We stayed 4 nights at Amid Hotel. Great location for visiting sights, subway stations, eateries, coffee shops, and shopping. Grocery store and convenience store right next to the hotel. The staff spoke Korean as English. Super welcoming and helpful with any questions or needs. The room was clean, bed was comfy, and bathroom had a bidet. Slept well with no noise in the evenings. Would recommend for your stay in Seoul.

The staff was so helpful! The rooms were very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The location is also great. Right by so many cultural sites and in the midst of many different restaurants and great coffee shops. It’s also located very close to the subway and bus lines. I recommend it highly!

The staff was vey helpful in assisting with translation as needed. They also arranged tours as needed. The only issue which we had which is a minor one is the motion sensor turns the light on near the door which is a bright light in the night to be turning on if you move around in the room.

Consistent issues with our drain in the bathroom that could not get fixed. Stains on the carpet and an old toothbrush left in the bathroom. We also were given an \"accessible\" room and didn't want one. Our toilet was in with the shower. I asked to move but they couldn't accommodate. Wouldn't stay here again.

I loved the location, it was just me and my sister and we always felt safe. The hotel is right in front of a police station. There’s a few convenient stores right next door. It’s a quick walk to insadong shops

Perfect hotel for tourists in Seoul

Room was clean and comfortable with an emperor sized bed which was amazingly comfortable. Perfect after a long day site seeing, eating and shopping.

Comped 2 breakfasts due to our special occasion which was a delicious buffet of Korean and western food. Even had a cold soba noodle station!

The staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to help us at every turn.

I don’t think I could’ve chosen a better hotel in the price range and look forward to staying again.

Thank you to the Amid hotel team for making our stay exceptional!

Lovely clean hotel, very central and near a metro station. Second trip here for us during our Korea holiday. Would recommend, didn’t try restaurants and there is a coffee bar in reception but no bar.

The hotel and its staff were great. The location is super convenient to all transportation lines. The area around is walkable and has many restaurants options, art galleries, cafe shops, and shopping streets. The only bad thing I have to say is that the room WiFi is terrible. But if you go down to the lobby area, the wifi there is much better. I would recommend this hotel solely for its prime location

Great central hotel with easy transport access

Hotel was 2 mins from subway, lots of shops, restaurants etc close by. Room was a little small and lacked space for luggage but we booked the cheapest room! Very clean, great beds and had a bath which we appreciated. There are restaurants in the hotel but no bar selling just drinks. Good coffee bar in lobby.

We chose this hotel mainly because of the proximity to the subway / tourist sites and the ability to book a triple room for our three teenage kids.

Checkin was seamless even though there was a large tour group that arrived at the same time as us. The front desk simply gave the tour guide a deck of keys to distribute.

We booked a suite and a triple room and both rooms were reasonably spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed.

The very friendly house keeping staff did a great job and we were restocked with water every day.

The gym was small yet adequate for some treadmill and weight work with towels and water provided.

We didn’t have an inclusive breakfast package so I can’t comment on this however there is a small cafe available down stairs and a large variety of cafes available in the area.

Subway line 1 Jonggak exit 3-1 will get you there. There is a stair case down then up near the exit, however a balcony on the left will take you around and you can get escalators through the business building / bookshop.

An electronic money change machine is also available in the hotel lounge area upstairs.

Amid Hotel was really near Jongak station and if you want to walk, you can even walk for 15mins to Myeongdong. I like how quiet this area is, they helped me with early check in so that was a big plus especially after the flight. There was a convenience store beside the hotel as well. Everything was pleasant.

Location was incredibly convenient - very short walks to palaces, temple, Cheonggyecheon, and great shopping. Staff were consistently amazing, any shift, any time of day. I had a minor mechanical problem and they had someone up to my room in 2 minutes. Amenities were all top notch. Loved having the refrigerator and kettle. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Our favorite hotel in Seoul!

Amid Hotel was our favorite hotel we stayed at in Seoul during this trip! The beds were nice and big and softer than anywhere else we stayed (being from the US we aren’t used to the harder beds that were common everywhere else we stayed during our trip). Amid Hotel was in a great location, updated, and clean. The room was a bit small for multiple suitcases but we made it work. Breakfast buffet was delicious as well! The staff were very kind and accommodating, and we appreciated the parking on site!

We stayed for 4 nights here in 2 different rooms (had to change because our preferred choice deluxe queen was unavailable the last night). However the standard king still had a bath (much smaller), obviously the advantage of the bigger bed and still a decent sized room so either we’re great. Very clean. Breakfast ok- had 1 morning, caters more for Asian style breakfast and most of it was cold unless freshly bought out. Position was awesome, metro station 2 mins walk and once we worked it out got around the city no problem, switching platforms etc. would stay again.
