It’s one of best hostels I have stayed in. Close enough to Myeongdong but not in Myeongdong, spotlessly clean and free water offered daily.

The only issue for some is that the beds are rock hard and pillows super soft/flat. If that’s ok with you then it’s a fantastic hostel

I stayed at hostel haru for my solo trip for 7 nights. I felt safe as a lone girl. The amenities were clean, water pressure was great. I could even do my laundry before heading home. The best thing about this hostel is that it is super convenient to places like Anguk, ikseon dong and insadong. I found myself walking to these places instead of taking the train. There are at least two train lines within 10 minutes walk as well.
My favourite activity was walking at the cheongyecheong stream at night to digest my dinner. Would totally stay here again!

Property was in a great location, very close to jong bak station. It was also fairly close to the major tourist attractions of seoul.

Unfortunately, i wasnt a fan of the self check in process. You need to enter sets of codes to get into the building, then the floor then the room. This meant having to remember the codes or pull them out everytime. Because of the format of the stay, i actually didn't meant any hotel staff besides the cleaner therefore that whole hospitality feeling went missing for me over here. I also stayed solo here and got a private room(single room.) I found it difficult to speak to other travellers, the social room could have been better, staggering across 2 floors i don't think works well, more social things at the stay would have been nicer. Looking back, i would've tried to find a more socialable hostel instead with actual people.

Close to Cheonggyecheon Stream which is a very peaceful place in the bustling city. Many food options outside and close to transport. Property was clean and the fresh towels and bottled water were also very good. Staff are responsive to any enquires when you email them. Very happy with my stay.

It was a nice hostel and the room has great aircon, mine had a nice view and it’s pretty close to the river. The only draw back is they’re mostly staff-less so you have to do your own check in and email them your passport. They also don’t have secure luggage storage. You just leave it behind an unmanned desk which everyone has access to. There’s also stairs of you’re staying up on the 12th floor with no lift option.

Great stay!

I booked one of their rooms for me, so it really felt like a hotel. Room was cozy and clean. Breakfast is simple but nice (the coffee is actually really good!). Location is easy to get by in the city. Staff at reception was always super helpful. Only two things bothered me: there is no elevator to the 12th floor, so I had to go up the stairs one floor with my rather heavy suitcase; the 12th floor has a small terrace/balcony, and my room was facing that (along with 2 other rooms out of their 5 or 6 rooms in 12th floor), which meant I had to keep the shades down and lights on all the time to have some privacy.

Hostel Haru provides better services and facilities than some hotels I have stayed in.

It is an incredibly clean, well maintained property in a brilliant location.

As a traveller with big aspirations but a very tight budget, I really couldn't have found somewhere better to stay.

The place is clean and nice. Breakfast was good. The extra perks were really a plus point, 1 bottle of drinking was provided everyday, 2 small clean towels were provided daily as well.

My only 2 constructive comments would be to thicken/darken the curtains for the beds as the lights could be too glaring for the person next to us if we decide to use it late at night and i don't mind if there's a one or 2 common bathrooms/toilets that we could use other than the private ones that is attached to the room (which i absolutely appreciate) for night owls like me. I came back after 12am a few nights, and it's not so nice to be taking shower and using the hair dryer when everyone was already sleeping, so i end up not taking one, haha.

Nice hostel close to transportation, mini stop/gs25/7-11, starbucks, etc. Can pretty much get all kinds of necessities nearby and the Jonggak underground shopping centre is also minutes away.

Perfect location because it is in the middle of everything. Safe and secure with multiple security keypads from the ground floor up to our room. Sparkling clean rooms with complete amenities and towels were changed everyday. Basic but more than sufficient breakfast. The ability to self check-in was great and the guidebook provided was super helpful. Will definitely recommend to others and stay here again!

First Hostel Experience

There was trouble with my bed the first night, so I had to wait a little while. However, they moved me into a single room with a private bathroom as opposed to the 6-bed dorm I booked, which was super nice! It was my first time staying in a hostel, so it spoiled me for when I had to move into the dorm the next day. I couldn't sleep with people moving around late at night and early morning, but I'm just not used to hostels yet. The location was fantastic and so was the service.

Hotel is located few minutes away from subway station, many restaurants in the area too, which is very convenient. Rooms were very clean and kept neat by housekeeping. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed so far. Thank you, Hostel Haru for being part of my Korea trip.

My personal opinion on Hostel Haru

I’m really happy that I made a right choice to stay in Hostel Haru as I would like my room to be comfortable, safe and clean because I’m staying for 10 days.

Besides comfortable, safe and clean, the location is very convenient with the subway station so close by. Finding food is not a problem too as there are so many choices nearby. I would definitely recommend Hostel Haru to my friends who are visiting Seoul.

I would also add that I’m impressed with the service. I thank you being very quick in replying my email and also for sending me videos of direction to Hostel Haru without my request. Also thank you for reaching out to me to check what time I would be arriving.

Overall, I’m very happy with Hostel Haru.

Cosy, Convenient and Clean Accommodation

The hostel is very comfortable and convenient to stay in. There is a tv, towel amenities, toothbrush set, shower soap and hairdryer available for use. The location is easily accessible to many locations - near Myeongdong and many other train stations. The room was very clean and the bed is super comfy. Best of all, there is private space for dormitories - curtains, lights and power sockets next to your bed. There are also private lockers for individual use. Highly recommend to stay here!

Hostel Haru's rooms are located at 11th & 12th floors. Have a great city view.
Room with ensuite toilet is super clean and neat. Daily Housekeeping. 2 face towels, toothbrush/paste, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided.
5 min walk from Jonggak station (Line 1).
Simple daily breakfast from 8-9:30am

Nice hostel near numerous tourist locations.

The best part of the experience was being able to see Cheonggyecheon from my room window. There were also so many tourist attractions within walking distance, or a short ride on the Seoul Metro. The staff was pleasant, and the room had a nice decor. Everything was very clean. It looks like the place is new, or they've recently remodeled. The common areas were comfortable, and there was a free computer to use. Also, they have a free breakfast. It wasn't a full on buffet, but enough to get you goin'.

家族4人でファミリールームに泊まりました。
早朝の到着、夜の便の出発だったので、荷物を置かせてもらえたこと、共有スペースで少し休めたことは本当にありがたかったです。

川沿いの部屋だったので眺めもよかったです。
広さ，明るさ，鍵のシステム、アメニティー、トイレやシャワー、どれも快適でした。

強いて難を言うならば、鏡の前にコンセントが欲しかったです。
ヘアアイロンを使う娘がちょっと困ってました。

Das Zimmer ist klein und leider sehr hellhörig. Man hört sogar, wenn im Nebenzimmer der Toilettensitz heruntergeklappt wird. Das Bett ist sehr hart. In meinem Zimmer war ein Mini-Fenster unter der Decke, dass sich leider nicht verdunkeln ließ. Auch außerhalb des Hotels ist es oft sehr laut. Hierfür fand ich den Preis pro Nacht zu hoch.

Uma das melhores experiências em hostel que já tive. Muito seguro, limpo, bonito. Pedi cama inferior e consegui. O colchão era meio fino, não foi muito confortável pra mim, mas foi só isso. Os banheiros são limpos, 2 chuveiros e 1 vaso para 8 camas. O lounge é legal, tem um espaço bom pra trabalhar, mas os bancos cansam muito as costas e a temperatura é um pouco fria demais - passei horas lá trabalhando sozinha, tava congelando, e a gente não tem acesso ao controle da temperatura. Tem agua fria e quente à vontade. Tudo é automatizado, o prédio, a porta de entrada, a porta do quarto. É bom, mas também é bastante impessoal, você nunca encontra ninguém, só a menina da limpeza à tarde. A localização é muito boa, fácil de ir pra qualquer lugar.

8人部屋に泊まりました。
部屋にシャワー室は2つ、トイレが1つ、洗面台が2つありました。清潔感がありとても良かったです。シャワーのタイミングが重ならないように私は夕方早めの時間にシャワーしていました。シャワーはずっと出しっぱなしだと冷たくなってしまったので、こまめに止めていました。トイレはホステル入り口の外にもビルのトイレがありましたので、誰かが使用中はそちらに行ったりしました。
共用スペースには電子レンジ、トースター、お湯も出るウォーターサーバー、自由に飲めるお茶などありました。お湯の出し方の説明を見ても分からなかったのでメールで問い合わせたらすぐに見にきてくれました。
8人部屋だと物音など気にされる人には向かないと思いますが、私は快適に過ごすことができました。
明洞や安国までは歩いて行けました。
駅は1号線にも2号線にも近かったです。バス停も近くにあったので助かりました。

とにかく綺麗で満足。安い。今まで泊まったホステルの中で1番良かった
チェックインは無くて部屋の暗証番号がメールで送られてくる方式でした。ベッドが少し動いただけで音が鳴る、仕切りのカーテンが薄かったりしたので物音や明かりが気になる人は不便かも気にならない人にはすごく良いホステルでした。
ホテルの周辺にご飯屋さんが多く夜中は酔っ払いが少しいた

チェックアウト後に荷物を預けられるので、出発時間まで周辺で買い物ができるので便利。
今回2回目の利用だが、江南、弘大方面にも行きやすく、明洞も徒歩圏内でとても観光しやすい。
また、初めてシングルタイプの部屋を利用したがキャリーケースも広げられて荷造りしやすかった。
部屋もとても清潔感がある。
次回もまた利用したいと思う。

立地がよい。清潔。

チェックイン、アウトは無人です。事前にメールが届いて、入口や部屋のパスコードが送られてきます。特に問題はないです。ただ12階のWi-Fiが弱く、電波の強いところまで行って使ってました。立地はいいと思います。明洞の街まで歩いて行けます。

1号線鐘閣駅すぐ、近くに2号線乙支路入口駅もあり便利な立地。すぐ近くにミニストップもあります。
施設も綺麗で、清潔感あり。
スタッフの方も感じのいい方でした。
宿泊までに日本語で丁寧な説明のメールをくださいました。
持ち込んで食事をするラウンジも清潔感がありおしゃれで、大きな窓からは清渓川を見渡せる景色もよく夜は夜景を見ながら過ごせます。

気になったのは壁が薄いのか声が大きい人だったのか隣の部屋の人の声が割と聞こえました。

総合的に良かったので、またぜひ利用したいなと思います。

タオルは毎日替えてくださりよかったです。
6人部屋で少し狭かったですが清潔感とセキュリティは大変満足です。

快適に過ごせる綺麗で可愛いホステル

4人部屋ドミに1泊しました。
建物の出入り口、ホステルの各階、部屋全て電子キーが設置されており、セキュリティーは万全でした。
お部屋もバスルームもとても綺麗に清掃されていて快適でした。
テレビのリモコンが他のベッドのテレビにも反応してしまい、ちょっと困惑しました。
鍾路の中心地に位置しているため飲食店がたくさんあり、その点でも不便なく過ごせました。
スタッフさんも日本語が堪能なので不安なく宿泊できました。

６人１室のドミトリールームで２日間お世話になりました。

ロケーションが最高でで、ソウル駅からのアクセスが良く、地下鉄を使って色々行くにもにも便利だし歩いて行ける観光地もたくさんありました。だから夜遅くまで安心してブラブラ出来ました。

設備についてはすべてキレイだし必要なものは揃っています。スタッフの方たちも親切で、居心地良く滞在できました。ありがとうございます。

部屋の中にトイレとシャワールーム２つがあるのが嬉しかったです！
ただ、私は気にならないたちなので大丈夫だったのですたが、「23:30以降シャワー禁止」のルールは全く守られていませんでしたよね。（笑）なので部屋の中にある分、そう言うのがもしも気になる人だったらイライラしたりストレスになるしで諸刃の剣かもしれないです。

地點、環境、整潔度一流；早餐簡單而美味。旅館樓下便有大量餐廳及便利店，夜晚不愁沒東西吃，其中一間炸雞店太美味了，又便宜，味道不輸其他有名氣的炸雞連鎖店。

旅館洗衣房開放時間為5PM-10PM, 如時間能延長就更好了。

Самый лучший хостел в моей жизни! Всё было на высоте! Проживала 11 дней в номере для 4-х, постоянно менялись соседк, порой я была и вовсе одна. Убирались каждый день. Полотенца меняли каждый день (но маленькие! для душа берите из дома большие), ежедневно вода бесплатная в холодильнике. В номере ванная комната: большое пространство с раковиной, холодильником, зеркалом, феном, чашками, чайником + туалет и нормальный душ (кто гуглил корейский душ, тот понимает о чём я хехе). Сама комната не большая, но для 4-х тактичных женщин ок. Тактичных, это значит не завлится в комнату со своим барахлом и не раскидать его везде, словно ты один, а потом волосы и полотенца везде разборасывать..
Сверхудобные кровати!
Отличные завтраки! Здоровые! Не по размеру, а от слова Здоровье - нет мяса! Зелень, помидоры, яйца (делаешь сам - омлет, скрембл, глазунью), несколько видов хлеба, фрукты, джемы, несколько видов чаёв (без кофеина!), но есть и кофе.
На ресепшене можно отправить открытку.
В хостеле действуют правила, которые в принципе нормальному человеку и не нужны, т.к. понятно, что даже дома топосле 11 вечера орать не будешь, но был случай, что кто-то веселился и орал в коридоре до часу ночи.
В принципе очень много завит о постояльцев. Мне в большинстве везло с соседками, но были и такие,которые считали, что если пришли сюда только переночевать, значит можно мусорить, гадить, хлопать ночами дверьми и пр. Это не минус хостела, это минус людей. Такое может быть и в лакшери отеля, увы.

初心者の一人旅には立地が最高です！
どこの駅へも真っ直ぐ行けばいいです。
目の前にはカフェとかわいいミルクティーショップもありました。ダイソーも近い。
スタッフの方が優しかったです。
朝食はパンとたまご、シリアルなど。
お部屋はきれいですが、浴室サンダルや浴室ドアの赤カビが少し気になりました。
アメニティは毎日のバスタオル、フェイスタオル交換、歯ブラシ、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープ、ハンドソープ、石鹸で、十分でした。綿棒はありません。
隣の部屋のシャワーの音が響きますが騒音で眠れないということはありませんでした。こればかりは運ですが、、、。
ドミトリーに宿泊しましたが、同室の海外からきた女性と仲良くなり、1人では絶対に行けなかったであろうミュージアムやハンガン、ナイトマーケットに連れて行ってもらいました。翻訳機を使いながら会話して楽しい経験でした。
また泊まりたいです。

만족스러운 호스텔이었습니다.

호스텔은 처음 이용 해보았는데 8인실인데도 불구하고 공간이 넓어 너무 쾌적하였습니다. 한국에서 호텔이 아닌 호스텔 방문은 처음이었는데 좋은 경험이 되었습니다. 혼자 여행하는 여성 고객분들에게 추천합니다. 8인실 가격이 4인실 보다 가격이 높아 예약시 의아했지만 왜 인지 투숙하고 보니 알 수 있었습니다.

MINJI

훌륭한 도미토리 호스텔이었습니다 .

종로 2가에 위치해 있어 교통편이 매우 좋았고 8인실 도미토리 였지만 공간이 넓어 지내는데 너무 쾌적했습니다. 11시 이후 짐을 정리하거나 소란을 삼가해달라는 설명을 받아 항상 조심스럽게 행동했지만 외국인들한테는 설명을 하는 모습을 보지 못했고 그 결과로 11시 이후에도 짐 싸는 소리 비닐 뜯는 소리가 소란스러웠고 거기에 대해 전혀 조심성은 없어 보였습니다. 늦게 숙면하는 저는 크게 문제 삼지 않았으나 다른 국적의 외국인이 굉장히 짜증을 내는 모습을 볼 수 있었습니다. 설명은 국적불문 공통정보로 공평하게 하심이 필요할 것 같아 의견 남깁니다. 좋은 시간이었습니다.

とても清潔でキレイ、セキュリティもサポートも充実していて、駅近・低価でここまでのホテルはほかにないと思います。
次も絶対泊まります。
ホテルの受付の方は日本語も英語も韓国語も話せるので、旅行の予約や不明点などなんでも対応してくださり、本当に素晴らしいサポートでした。

明洞へは歩いて10分程度の近さで、仁寺洞にも近いので、とても便利です。
