It’s a nice quiet area with plenty of restaurants and neat little shops just a short walk away. It’s easy to get to the bus stop and head to the subway as well. Very close to the lively parts of the area too. Staff is very kind and willing to help with whatever request or questions you may have.

I stayed at this hotel in 2023 prior to the renovations and found that with the modifications the room appears to be more spacious. The hotel is located in a bustling neighbourhood surrounded by a multitude of restaurants and trendy cafes. The accommodation was clean and inviting with great service from the courteous staff. I would highly recommend this location for your next trip to Seoul.

Easy to find with our phone and walkable to everything we wanted to see. Location is probably the best part of this hotel with tons of dining and shopping right nearby. The room is pretty small and felt cluttered with our stuff but we made do. I would not buy the breakfast again. Bathroom very small no room for toiletries but everything worked. If I returned to Seoul for a short stay I would come back here because of its location.

I’ve stayed at this hotel more than once. There are so many reasons why this place is a gem. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Whether it’s storing luggage or providing directions, they are patient with foreigners when checking in and checking out. Many cool amenities like a rooftop lounge and hot bath. The location is surrounded by fun, trendy shops and amazingly delicious places to eat. Even after areas normally close, you can find late night snack options. There is so much more too. Would certainly stay here again!

This is one of the best hotels in Insadong

Our brief stay at ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong was top notch! Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk staff greeted and welcomed us warmly. We were quickly checked in and given early access to our room.
The lobby was very clean and well organized as were the restrooms on the first floor. The seating area has a great view of the street.
Hotel location is excellent-it is walking distance to many places of interest for visitors.

Great newly renovated hotel. Staff is excellent. What we loved most was how we didn’t hear other guests in the next room.
Would have loved to have a better shower door that was easier to close and perhaps a shelf for my own toiletries in the shower.
Breakfast was ok, we were there 3 days and there’s almost zero variety of food items. The scrambled eggs seemed a little runny too.

The air conditioning barely kept my room cool. I’ve stayed at the Ibis Myeongdong, Ibis Styles Myeongdong, and Ibis Busan City Centre. They all have better aircon. Otherwise, my stay was great!

Employees are helpful. The room temperature was 24.5 degree while sleeping and had to call feont desk in the middle of the night. A bed was not comfortable due to middle of the bed was sinking. The room is super small so no space to put luggages and bathroom is tiny.

What a great oasis to center yourself while visiting Seoul! Can't wait to stay here again! Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful - cannot stress this enough. Especially compared to other places I've stayed in Korea that were more expensive. Thank you for making our stay with my elderly mother that much more comfortable and meaningful.

Bad experience!!!

We booked for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 17 and 11), we gave ages during booking but when we got to the hotel our room was for 3 people. 3 pillow, 1 twin and 1 double bed, 3 towels, 3 pairs of slippers. When we went to investigate we were told the room was for 3 people and I showed her the reservation but she refused to help. We were stuck! They offered for us to pay for another room but we already paid for this room.

We needed the business center, we confirmed it was there and when we went to use it the keyboard didn’t work. When we went back to reception she said keyboard is broken but everything else works. How do you use a computer without a keyboard?

All and all we were really frustrated. As a family of 4 that travels a lot we will NOT be back.

They have wonderful staff and very nice views from the hotel window. It was very clean and organized since you could ask for something like only your bed sheets cleaned or replaced towels with a simple paper card. A quick tip is that most things open later around 10am-12pm but even with that everything is empty until the afternoon and night time. Also, I just used wifi to get around Seoul since there were many Public Wifi areas. Thank you Insadong for a wonderful stay!

An excellent location with many great neighborhoods and sights within walking distance. The hotel is quiet and clean. My only complaint is an insufficient number of laundry washers and dryers. Only two of each available to guests and pricey (5000 won per load per machine.)

すぐ近くにコンビニが２つ。目の前は飲食店が多数。地下鉄は４番出口（上り下り共にエレベーター）が近い。
地下にはコインランドリー、ジム、大浴場があります。大浴場のシャワーは頭の上で固定されています。私は海外旅行には折り畳みのバケツを持って行くのでそれを利用しました。
部屋のトイレはウォシュレットのようなものがあります。
お部屋にはお水がおいてありました。
ちなみにですが、洗面台の栓は押すタイプですよー。

立地が最高です。イクソンドンで朝食を予定してたので、ここで本当に良かったです。
またスタッフは日本語はあまりできないようでしたが、しっかりコミュニケーションして下さいました。
お風呂も心強く、次回も泊まりたいです。
ただお風呂は　排水への流れが悪いとか、沸かす部分から変な音が響いたり等ありました。また脱衣所にはクイックルワイパーを置いとくと良いと思います。

洗浄便座がついているところ、と選びました。浴槽はついていませんが地下に浴場があるようです。シャワーブースも扉がしっかりしているのでして洗面室がベタベタになることもありません！部屋も広めで綺麗だし、フロントもフレンドリーです。気持ちよく過ごせました。隣室の音も気になりませんでした。

年末年始に4泊しました。部屋は清掃が素晴らしく毎日清潔で、スタッフも親切で快適に過ごしました。
立地も周辺に見所・飲食店が多いです。また、どこにでも行きやすく、とても便利な場所です。再訪したいですし、ホテル選びに迷われている方にオススメしたいホテルです。

体調すぐれずお粥が食べたくなったのでフロントの方に出前出来るお店かテイクアウト出来るお店がないか聞きに行ったところ、とても親切に探していただきました。ありがとうございました。
ですが、お風呂を使用する時の対応がとても悪かったです。日本語でまくしたてられ、挙句の果てには早くロッカーキーを返しに来いと言われた時には何か悪いことしましたか？と聞きたい気持ちでした。

大浴場が11時まで使えるようになっていましたが、ギリギリに行くとタオルがなくて困りました。あと入浴中、隣のジムの音？なのか、ずっと大きな音が響いていて気になりました。
主人によると、男湯でパンツを履いたまま入浴している白人男性グループがいたそうです。入浴ルール伝える必要があるかもですね。
目の前が、歩くだけでも楽しく美味しいお店が沢山ある街並みになっているので、とても便利でした。

改装後の為か清潔でした。ホテルの真向かいに両替所、コンビニ、地下にはランドリーがあり、不自由なく利用出来ました。仁寺洞の街中に近く、非常に便利で朝から行列に並ばず、カフェご飯、お粥、おしゃれパン屋さんを楽しめました。夜は焼き肉屋さんが迷うほど沢山あり、このエリアだけでもかなり、堪能出来ました。
