The hotel was average. The location was great and close to the main Insadong district. It was an older building and the facilities are a bit outdated. However, it had all the essentials. The staff was nice and accommodating.

When another room uses the toilet or shower, you will hear water running through the pipes really really loud, too loud to sleep through. Make sure you bring ear plugs. This was the worst thing.

The mattress is super hard and the pillows feel like they're made of plastic. Sheets were not clean and not changed until I complained.

The shower curtain didn't reach near the ground, making in impossible not to leave the entire bathroom wet.

On the bright side, internet was fine, the location was good, the toilet was heated, service was fine.

Not too bad. Table or desk is kinda small to put your stuff down. After showering the bathroom floor gets all wet because it doesn’t have a bathtub. But they provide you a bathroom slipper to wear (Korean style I guess). If you are from the U.S, remember to bring the wall outlet adapter to charge your phone (2 prongs cylinder shape) in Korea. 2-3 mins walk from airport bus stop 6011, 5 mins walk to Changdeokgung palace ( but Gyeonbokgung palace is much better with a beautiful park), 7-10 mins walk to Angkuk station which is kinda far for me as I walk all day long going to places and retuning to hotel tired at night.

Near to Amenities

The hotel is very near to Anguk villages and they do have several hanbok rental shops around as well. The location of the hotel allows easy access to museums and palaces that are perfect for photos with hanboks. The nearby village offers good food as well as a place to shop as well. On the downside, it will be better if the hotel rooms were to be bigger so that we can have more space to walk and to put our luggage. The cafe downstairs does not seem to be working but it was good that a convenient store is placed right next to the hotel. The beds can be a little softer and the air condition stopped in the middle of the night for our room but the hotel staff changed it for us and tried to fix the problem. Overall, not a bad experience but the hotel facilities can definitely be improved on. I really loved the facilities around and it allows me to indulge in the entire korean experience with their local cuisines and activities.

The room was very small but reasonably clean. If you are staying just for a couple nights, the location is very convenient to so many downtown attractions (can walk) and to subway. Airport bus within 5 min walk.
Breakfast literally consisted of two types of sugary cereal (frosted flakes and some chocolate type) and white toast with butter and jam and awful coffee. It's easier to step out to the 24-hour convenience store right outside and get something decent there.

Place for the weekend.

Sewerage smell ruins hotel

I booked a double room for 10 nights in the Benikea Nobel Hotel in Insadong, Seoul. I was given room 205. It was 20 metres square as per the advertisement but felt smaller because space was taken up by an entrance lobby. There was a computer in the room as well as free wi-fi but no wardrobes or drawers for clothing or facilities to place our suit cases. On day one we noticed that the 4 way shower was not working, only the hand held shower worked. We advised reception and we had to remind them again on day 2. On day 3 when we enquired, we were told that it could not be fixed. We also adised the hotel of a really bad sewerage smell coming from the bathroom. They said that would look at a room change. Because we were out touring during the day, we had to wait another day for a room change. the rooms offered were inferior, so we stuck with the sewerage smelling room and kept the bathroom door closed and the exhaust fan going 24/7. We opened the bedroom window, which looked at a brick wall, to ventilate, but noise from the next door taekwando facility and mosquitoes limited the time we could air our bedroom. The beds are very firm and we found it not to our liking and rather uncomfortable.

Great location, friendly staff, nice and clean. The only negative was the beds - rock hard mattresses with large pillows covered in these vinyl covers (under the pillow case) that made the pillow feel like a balloon. I slept fine the first night (after being awake for over 24 hours due to the 17+ hour journey), but barely slept on subsequent nights.

Good location, small room

Room are really small even we have only one luggage still need to move it around for walking space. Clean room and every day housekeeping. Breakfast is ok for me. It's cereal, toast, boiled egg and coffee.

Many restaurants near by, convenience store locate in front of hotel.

Free washing machine but did not have dryer.

For Airport Bus, stop at Changdeokgung palace. Walk along the road to traffic light in front of the palace. Turn right to small alley(Yulgok-ro 6-gil) before the traffic light, just walk about 50m to the hotel, it's will locate on your left hand side behide CU convenience store.

For subway, stop at Anguk station exit 4, turn back and walk along the school wall toward to Changdeokgung palace until you see the traffic light in front of the palace. Turn right to small alley(Yulgok-ro 6-gil) before the traffic lights, just walk about 50m to the hotel, it's will locate on your left hand side behide CU convenience store.

Close to Anguk Station. Convenient to take Airport Bus 6011 and alight at Changdeokgung Palace bus-stop. Good for first time visitors to recce the vicinity of the hotel area and the Seoul City. Close to Changdeokgung Palace, Insadong, Jongno, walking distance to Bukchon Hanok Village. Hotel is safe but have to bear the noise from the nearby martial arts school. Room is small but comfortable.

The good thing with the hotel is that, palaces are just few minutes walk. The bad thing is I reserved for KIng bed and they gave us a queen bed and they said that there's no king bed. Controls for tv, aircon, toilet bowl, etc ., are not that friendly. There should be an English translation.

Perfect Location!

My partner had a fantastic stay. The location is perfect to some attractions and is close to metro links and bus lines. We caught a bus from the Incheon Airport that dropped us off right outside the Hotel. The area is safe and easy walking distance to brilliant restaurants. The bed was a little bit hard but we still had a very sound sleep. Great Stay, highly recommended.

Functional, clean and a great location

Good choice if you are budget conscious but want to be centrally located. Very close to insadong.

The Room was clean, but small but we were comfortable enough for our 4 night stay. The staff spoke very little English so it has a sort of travelodge feel as once you have your room key there is little interaction with them father than exchanging pleasantries.

All in all I would recommend the Noble because we knew what we were getting up front.

Clean, quiet, mid-range hotel in a good location

Nice, clean, quiet, reasonably-priced hotel. It underwent expansion since the last time we stayed there-- a large lounge area was added with dining tables included-- though we never saw anyone in the area when we were there. Too bad the reception area wasn't expanded-- it's small.Hotel is in a good location--not far from downtown, surrounded by cultural attractions, and just minutes from a subway line. Yet the hotel is not easy to find-- it faces a narrow back street.

The hotel is very convenient for tourist like ours. The airport bus stop is just a few steps away from the hotel. Major Palaces and insadong are near the hotel and convenient store and coffeeshop just infront of the hotel too. Subway line 3 Anguk station is just 200 meters away from the hotel also. Just an exit 4 to go to the hotel. Overall, Noble Hotel is a good choice to stay in Seoul.

Hotel near subway and bus and palace

My sister and I had an excellent experience in this hotel. Upon arrival, we were upgraded into a larger room with no additional charge so we were thrilled! The room was large considering the money we paid (2 large beds), and it was very clean and housekeeping came everyday. Since we came during winter, we were pleased that the floor had a heater and the bathroom had hot shower.

My sister loved their bidet (hihi), and I loved their large tv. Also, the hotel was very near Anguk subway station exit 4, and the bus stop (for airport and other stops) was just in front of the hotel. The changdeokgung palace was just across the street, making it easy for the taxi drivers to understand where you should be dropped off (they find it hard to understand english so just say you're going to changdeokgung instead of Noble Hotel). There were also nearby convenience stores and eating places near the hotel. It was also walking distance from Bukchon Hanok Village and Insadong. We also love how quiet our hotel was eventhough it was placed near the major attraction sites, since it was placed in a quiet neighborhood and it helped us feel safe since we were two girl students travelling.

Also, the staff was very courteous and they even lend ther adaptors to us since we failed to bring one. We haven't tasted their breakfast though since we always wake up late, but they said it was just bread and coffee. I suggest you try it!

Overall, we love this hotel and we will definitely come back!!

we spent a week in this hotel and overall it was good. it was quiet and the location is just nearby Anguk station. the Palace is also just outside the block, can take photos anytime. the only thing we complained about is that whenever we on and off the lights the doorbell rings. its annoying. the staff were friendly and gives your request immediately like extra pillow or toiletries. the hotel room looks old and dark probably because the floorings are all wooden. the toilet is clean though.Dont forget to bring univ.adapter plug as they only have the 2-socket plug to lend you.

Convenient location, easy airport access, clean.

Our main positive recommendation for Hotel Noble is based on the extreme ease of catching the 6011 bus from Incheon which stops less than a block from the hotel. Plus it is within easy walking distance to everyplace we wanted to see. The Noble is very clean but room tiny; price a bit high though possibly worth it in comparison with other hostel-style places which we weren't interested in. The bed was very comfortable; that is on top of the list.
On the down side, there are a few important points:
1) The breakfast consisted of white bread (toaster available) , jelly, butter, orange juice, and coffee. Low on nutrition but enough to calm hunger pangs until later.
2) The internet situation was really annoying. The ancient Microsoft-based computer was very slow, randomly turned itself off, and wouldn't allow certain functions on the airline website that we needed for online check-in, usually easy. After an hour, we gave up. This resulted in losing our assigned seats on the plane and slowing down our airport check in.
3) The maid service was a bit overdone; new towels not needed daily for a 2-3 night stay; this would be more environment-friendly. Also our toothbrushes (personal as well as the one provided) and soap were taken and replaced; very unnecessary. We hid them after the first instance. Replenishing the bottled water was appreciated, though. We prefer to not have our space entered, and would have liked having a \"do not disturb\" or \"no service\" sign to hang on the door.

Satisfactory brief stay for 2 nights. Hotel is just 5-minute walk to nearest exit of Anguk Station and convenient for visiting Changdeokgung/Bukchon which are just on the opposite side of the main road and nearby Insadong. Hotel itself offers basic B&B lodging reasonable for the price.

Easy access to subway (Anguk Station) about 7 minutes walk. Although our booking were not including breakfast, but hotel did provide some free coffee, tea and bread at lobby, and u can always get food and drink from the convenience store outside the hotel.

I stayed at the hotel from September 18 - 22, 2014. I was traveling with friends and we booked 3 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 twin beds). We were given rooms 505, 506 and 508.

Location: Excellent. The hotel may not be along the road but it's a 5-minute walk (or less) from the main road. It's across Changdeokgung Palace.

Just right in front of the hotel are a 24-hour convenience store and a coffee shop.

And the hotel is near Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Square, Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, among others. And when I say near, I mean you can just walk to these tourist attractions.

Neareast subway station ia Angok Station. And the bus stop is less than a five minute walk (including the airport limousine bus 6011).

Hotel and facilities. - I was booked at Room 505. The room was old but clean and presentable. The following amenities were provided: refrigerator (2 bottles of water, coffee and tea), electric pot, hair dryer, television with cable, personal computer, hot and cold shower, wi-fi (fast internet connection) telephone and toiletries (shampoo, moisturizer, soap, toothbrush, etc).

My only complaint was the bed and the pillows. They were a little hard.

Breakfast consisted of orange juice, coffee, butter, jam and bread. Served from 730 to 900 am in the morning.

Would I recommend it? A definite yes. Would I stay at the hotel again? Yes.

Great Value and Convenient Location

I spent a week here during my time in Seoul. It was very convenient to public transportation - airport bus, subway, and buses. It was also in walking distance to Changdeokgung Palace(just across the street), Insadong, and Bunch in. The rooms I stayed in were both comfortable and well equipped. Everything was clean. Room decor is a bit dated. Great shower with a tub and really hot water.l Water, tea, coffee, and juice are provided free of charge in your room which has a mini fridge. There's a small breakfast available daily- all of the above plus toast. There is a coffee shop and convenience store right in front of the hotel. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. A great place for budget travellers that are not into the young hostel scene.

Location was great for access to airport bus and the wonderful Seoul Metro. Room was clean. Bottled water and juice provided daily. Basic continental breakfast- coffee, tea, juice, toast available. Excellent location for seeing Seoul

The hotel is easy to access by train and bus from the airport and located in walking distance to many of the temples and shopping areas of central Seoul. However, the excellent location of the hotel was spoiled by the strong, unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Two floor drains, one in the shower and the other behind the handbasin, both appeared to allow smells from elsewhere in the plumbing system to get into our bathroom. With only a small, inefficient fan and no windows, this made the bathroom particularly unpleasant to use. Otherwise, the room was quite small and the bed very hard, but the room provided everything we needed. Although the staff answered questions when asked, they were not particularly welcoming when we first arrived. Overall, therefore our stay was a bit disappointing.

I did not enjoy my stay at the Noble Hotel. I had booked it for two nights, but after I got there and saw the condition of the room and the hotel, I had to escape after only one night. The room was very dirty. Although the bed was clean and the bathroom was very clean (thank god) nothing else in the room had been cleaned. The table tops still had dirt left over from previous guests. They gave me a set of baths shoes / slippers that were filthy; as if someone had been wearing them for years. I initially thought someone had left them behind, but, sadly, I think they were meant for me to use, yick. Depressing interior. Nice that they had free wifi in the room and a full old style computer, but I could only get it in Korean Hangul which I don't read. The area surrounding this neighborhood is very sketchy. I walked alone down several alleyways to get to a Main Street and was desperately trying to fine some kind of landmark in order the find my way back. The hotel is situated deep within a block that is hard to find. I had to take a taxi back from my day out because I knew I would never be able to find my way back. I booked this hotel because it was half the price of the hotel (nice) hotels and I was staying in Seoul a long time. If you don't care that the room is small and not that clean and you are good with a map, then this might be right for you. The price was sure right, but I would never stay here again and I would only recommend it with a lot of caution and caveats.

Great hotel to stay!

Noble hotel is a great hotel to stay as the location is very strategic! It is within couple minutes walk to Seoul Metro station (Anguk), and it is just right opposite the Changdeokgung Palace. You can also walk to Bukchon Hanok Village within 10 minutes. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby to reach.
On the hotel, the room is very clean, nice and comfortable. It provides complementary water bottles, canned drinks, etc. Just nothing much I can complaint about.

Value for money, great location.

We stayed 5 nights. Perfect location with 2 subways within 5 min walking distance, central to most attractions. Room small but comfy & with all facilities, beau bathroom with Briget. Most staff with little English, but they tried their very best to help, despite we turned half hour earlier for breakfast by mistake, they served us. By the way , breakfast is included. Definitely value for money.

A nice budget hotel

Only 5 mins walk to the anguk subway station. The location of the hotel is excellent and convenient to main attractions. Airport bus 6011 drops off at the main road which is 200m away from the hotel. The room is nothing fancy but big enough and clean. Service wise, it's alright. Can't complain at such a nice price for the room. Overall speaking, it's very much worth staying at noble hotel.

Missed last train and had a terrible experience of getting a taxi as most drivers do not know the location. Luckily we met 2 helpful koreans who helped us persuade the drivers to take us. Advice: Public transport is easier and sure way of getting around if you do not know how to speak korean.
Breakfast (0700 to 0900) is provided with tasty white bread, butter and strawberry jam. Orange, tea and coffee are provided too.
Staff are friendly and helpful.

Basic three-star hotel: very clean with modern technology (computer in room, fast wifi, etc.). The front-desk staff are slightly aloof, but responsive to questions and requests. The room came with a kitchenette, which was a nice surprise.

Lights are controlled on a central panel, which emits a prominent blue light that illuminates the entire hotel room when overhead lights are off.

This hotel is near the Anguk metro station and has an airport bus stop near also.
It also has decent access to a Line 1 metro station. It is near two major palaces, an important shrine, and the Insadong shopping area. It is off and alley and hard to find the first time, but well worth seeking out.

We book at the hotel because of the good reviews of this hotel. Location is good. It's just across Changeokgung Palace and walking distance to the other main palaces, as well. Insuring, Buckhon Hanok Village and Samcheondon are just near as well. Room is very comfortable and clean. Although no breakfast is serve, a 24.hr convenient store is just a stone throw away. It's also very near Angus Station so everywhere else is just accessible. Staff speak little English but they're somehow helpful. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

Great location, Great Price!

Literally just a few foot steps from many awesome historical sights. Saying its in a Great location doesn't do it justice. Surprisingly posh for the price! I had just visited Hong Kong and a room at this price would have been a nightmare. So I wasn't expecting much. Wow was I glad to be wrong! If your in Seoul Korea for budgeted sightseeing, you cant do much better unless you spend $400 a night at a big name hotel. “Fantastic service, Comfy beds and fantastic looking room. My one and only small criticism is the room i booked online stated it had a view of the city.. I opened the shutters to see a brick wall? No matter, I had just stayed in multiple 5 star hotels through out China,.. and tho your hotel may nice to look at.. the surrounding view is dirty, impoverished ghettos.. Sightseeing on foot or by vehicle is what you really came to do. At this price, not being able to see out the window was a blessing and easily overlooked.. Especially since its location is smack dab in the center of tons of good sightseeing I highly recommend Nobel

Essy stay in Seoul. A little hard to find at first, but once you've found it, it's very convenient. Close to anguk stn and insadong. Rooms are small, but clean. Having two twin beds was a bit awkward for a couple, but not really a problem. Kettle and fridge in the room, with free bottled water in the room.

The hotel was 5 min walk away from the metro station (Anguk ) and near the palaces . Rooms were cleaned really well and the staff was really friendly . The ajussi who mans the reception even went to the extent of looking out for me when I came down to the lobby( the wifi is very strong there) to do some work . Staff was friendly and there's even a convienience store in front of the hotel . If you don't mind the breakfast (bread and coffee/tea) , this is really a great deal

Hotel looks a bit aging, but still clean. Staff not that friendly compare.
If you prefer shop around until late nite, you can consider myeong dong area instead of noble hotel area, where abit too quite.

Close to must see sights

Very close to buchon village, insadong is about 20 minutes, cheongdokgong palace is across the street. The bus stop to go to airport is only 5 minutes walk. Anguk train station is about 10 minutes away. Hotel is clean, just that the room is a bit small. Breakfast is just bread, coffee, and oj but you get 2 free water bottles and can of juice and tea.

OK for a budget hotel

Bed was uncomfortable and not many ammenities at the hotel. The room had aircon (good), but the PC in the room didn't have web access and only wireless access in the lobby. Price was decent, but would probably stay somewhere else next time I'm in Seoul

Incredibly Convenient Location, Rock Hard Bed

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Noble Hotel: the staff were friendly, it was easy for taxi drivers to find, and it is conveniently located right across the street from Changdeokgung. However, it was the hardest bed I've ever slept on in my life; wouldn't want to try it with a bad back.

初の韓国旅行楽しみました

初めての韓国旅行だったので、皆様の口コミを参考にして、立地、価格、清潔さなど総合的に良いこちらの宿に決めましたが大正解でした。

フロントの方がとても親切で安心して過ごせました。
早く着いたにも関わらず笑顔でチェックインさせてもらい助かりました。

お部屋はちゃんとした広い玄関があり、部屋との境目がドアで区切られています。
お部屋はコンパクトにまとまっていて広さも問題ありませんでした。

冷蔵庫にはペットボトルの水が2本と、スティックタイプのコーヒーがありました。
備え付けのドライヤーが風力があり嬉しかった！
コンセントはSEタイプがピッタリでした。

近隣には素敵なカフェや美味しいお店、観光名所が点在し、地下鉄の駅も近く便利。

朝食は別途1000円位で1階カフェで食べることもできますが、毎日おなかいっぱいで利用しませんでした。

エントランス入った瞬間クーラーがすごく効いているので、暑い中帰った時に最高でした。
お部屋のクーラーは自分で調節できます。

今回の旅で、どこの施設よりも1番エレベーターの速度が早かったのが印象的。

アメニティーは最初に置かれているもので、2日間。紙スリッパの交換はなし。
ボトルのシャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディーソープあり。
バスタオル、バスマットは交換されます。フェイスタオルはなかったので持参必要でした。

チェックイン後に部屋に行くと、鏡の縁の上に使用済みの湿布が丸めて放置されていた。3日目に部屋に戻るともう一泊するにもかかわらずアメニティ類が回収されていた。

思ったよりも駅から近いけど、最初見つけるまで苦労しました。
バスルームは慣れが必要です。
部屋は綺麗で静かでした。寒いかと心配でしたが、そんな事もなかったです。
またソウルに行くことがあれば、泊まりたいと思います。

王宮やカフェ巡りにいい立地です

３月後半、２階のツインルームに高齢の母と中年の私２人で２泊しました。
昌徳宮のすぐそばであり、仁寺洞や益善洞などが徒歩圏内で観光には最適。交通もすぐそばにエアポートバスや普通のバス停があるのと、鐘路３街駅も徒歩圏内で便利ですが、一番近くの安国駅の４番出口は階段のみ、５番出口からはホームから２回階段を使って、地上に出る最後のところだけエスカレーターです。荷物がある場合や足が丈夫ではない場合、少し離れますが５番と６番の間あたりのエレベーターを使うのが最適かと。
近隣に小さなカフェや飲食店も少々あり、ホテル入り口にはCUもあり便利です。
フロントの方とは簡単な日本語と英語でやりとりができましたし、チェックイン前には荷物を預かっていただき、過不足なく丁寧な対応でした。チェックアウトはカードキーをフロントのボックスに入れるだけです。実際午前１０時頃たまたまかもしれませんがフロント不在でした。
部屋の入口にはたたきがあり、床暖房の効いたフローリングで広さもあり、清潔感もありました。クローゼットの他に壁掛けのフックも３つあり、ハンガーも多くあったのはポイントが高いです。室内にドライヤー、簡易冷蔵庫、湯沸かしポット、使い捨てスリッパ、バスタオルとフェイスタオルあり、バスマットはないが水切りスリッパあり（シャワーカーテンもあるのでそんなに濡れませんが）、コンセントは要変換器でしたが、デスクにTYPE‐Cが２本とLightningの２本が設置してあったのでガジェットの充電だけなら事足りたので使いませんでした。
バスタブもありました。事前にはあるかわからず、予約の際にそのリクエストと荷物を預かっていただけるかを連絡して尋ねていたのですが、返信はないままでした。
また、バスルームの電気が何分か経つと消える仕様になっており、使用中に消えてしまうとデスクの方まで出ていってつけなくてはいけないので、せめて人感センサー式であればよかったと思います。
また、２泊目のアメニティ交換の際、１泊目で使った分の補充が一部されていなかったのも少し残念でした。
ただ、数回韓国で安いホテルを利用していますが、トイレットペーパーは流せるし、水圧も充分、匂いも気にならずで、便利な立地の割に清潔感があるのと部屋の広さもあるなどコスパは悪くないと思います。

トイレの流すボタンが洗面台の横の隙間だったので、押しにくい上にボタンを押す力が凄く必要でした。ボタンも引っ込んだままになったりしました。こんな当たり前のことができないのが韓国のトイレなんだと思いました。浴槽がある部屋でしたがシャワーカーテンはなく床はびしょぬれになりました。ボディーソープなども１個のみのパックなので、小さな石鹸もありましたが、朝晩お風呂に入るのであれば自分で持って行かないと足りないと思います。床暖房で靴を脱ぐ部屋は良かったです。

주차장이 좁은 편이었지만 미리 예약하고 가서 편하게 주차할 수 있었습니다.
체크아웃 후에 1시간 정도 차를 더 주차해야 했는데, 주차비가 만원 나왔습니다. 호텔 입구 왼쪽편에 있는 사설 주차장 주차비가 더 싸니까 추가로 주차하게 될 땐 옆 주차장으로 옮기는 게 나을 것 같습니다.
