Very conveniently located hotel with all necessary services provided. Breakfast was amazing, short walk from the palaces, daily room cleaning was done, laundry in the basement was convenient to use. Only improvement can be done for the power outlets as they seemed loose and not fitting the adapters well but we found a way to work with those.

Sehr stickige Zimmer, durch die einerseits gute Lage ist vieles im Stadtteil Hongi-Hi gut zu Fuß erreichbar, aber die Fenster zu öffnen bedeutet unendlicher Strassen Lärm Tag und Nacht (rasende Motorräder). Temperatur im Zimmer lässt sich nicht runterregulieren. Bei 2 Personen im Zimmer wird’s schnell stickig. Personal bemüht.

We were a bit disappointed about our corner suite. The furniture in the living space looks cheap, especially the \"sofa\". Its backrest isn't fixed and wouldn't support one's back. It would slide back and fall down.
Whoever designed the bathroom should be fired. The bathtub sits on top of granite enclosure. So when one takes a shower, the water would splatter on the granite enclosure and would eventually flow to the floor. There is a drain on the floor; so, the design was intentionally! The problem is the water would get on the bathroom door before getting to the floor. The door shows sign of water damage, and the bathroom would smell moldy. The floor around the bathtub would be wet after a shower.

The only problem we had was the internet was incredibly slow. It was really frustrating because we could not even load simple websites to check details for our trip. I ended up purchasing a data plan for my phone. I would not recommend this hotel if you are relying on the wifi for work, trip planning etc.

Bed was like sleeping on a cloud, especially after some of the previous places we stayed in China on our way to Seoul. Very close walk to one of the palaces and not a bad walk (15 minutes) to the metro. Hotel front desk was very helpful with answering our questions and had good grasp of English. Would stay again.

The amaneries are great, and what I really appreciated when we had to cancel our last night but the cancellation time was past, staff helped us with the refund. It was a really kind gesture. I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks, house keeping was poor, they never vacuumed my room nor changed the bed sheet until I told them to do so on the 4th day of my stay, and on the last day, as I had to be in the hospital till 12, I asked the hotel stafff the day before about late checkout, they simply reply hotel fully booked and can’t accomodate my request, I would expect more or I should say better customer service if I stayed in the hotel for 13 nights in total.

We were pleased with the hotel overall. Check in was very efficient and we got the room we had requested (corner suite up high with views). The electricity was off when we arrived to our room but it was fixed quickly. The staff was helpful and spoke enough English to make it work. Very small fridge in room but we got by with it. Would like to see ice available for the rooms. The subway is about a 10 minute walk, but it takes you by convenient stores, bakeries and other places you may want to walk by anyhow. Very close to palaces if you are exploring. We would stay here again.

Yet the hotel is not very close to subway station but it's just 10-min walk to Hyehwa station and the walk way is surrounded by universities and trees so that it's relaxing, and there are many nice cafes and restaurants around. The next station of Hyehwa is Dongdaemun station, it's very convenient!

We've stayed here before and we always enjoy this hotel. They have a great breakfast buffet which we had for free on our first time stay. However on our second stay it was an extra charge yet still worth it. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. I do love the location it's nearby (taxi distance) dongdaemoon which is a a HUGE night market. It's also walking distance to a street called DaeHakRo (College road) which has lots of shopping and restaurants also. Also walking distance they have the Seoul National Children's Hospital and ChangGyuhwon Palace which is open Tue-Friday.

The male staff at the front desk are unfriendly and lack basic manners. When I asked for food delivery because I was feeling unwell, they told me to do it myself. The breakfast was terrible, so I ended up not eating it even though I paid for it. The employees at this hotel don’t smile or show any kindness.
