The room was excellent, the location was nice-beach close -10 minute walk. Quiet in the evenings. Front desk staff could be more welcoming. Not many restaurants in walking distance. But domicillios are abundant-and quick.

There are two ACs in the apartment. One 8n the main bedroom and second in tha living room, shared are with the second bedroom. This causes the second bedroom to not be cold enough.
Pool said it opened at 10 am. But opened at 11. With an 12 am checkout, that is useless.
Besides that, all good.

The building needs some maintenance, and there are a lot of mosquitoes in the pool. However, all the staff, including Mr. Victor in the restaurant, were very kind, friendly, and very cordial to me and my family. I recommend this hotel for a trip to Santa Marta, Colombia. Thank you very much.

Among all the fancy hotels I stayed even over 200 a day…this one had the best room and great all around. The only thing that sucked was checking in at front desk and then checking in at 4th fl. However he said this is changing

Breakfast was not buffet so you are limited on the amount of break fast you can eat. You are just served a breakfast of scrambled eggs with maybe an arepa and that’s it. The breakfast cereal was finished and I asked the guy if there was more cereal and he said no. I found that hard to believe as cereal is served every morning….there must have need some cereal left over in their kitchen!!!

Good place to stay, clean and comfortable. negative points: they wanted to charge taxes even though I have a foreign passport, I had to pay for bracelets that should have been included with the reservation, air conditioner is either too cold or too warm as there is no way to set the air flow low/high. it was always high. Uber does not go to this part of the city.
Overall a pretty good place to stay, people were nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

My experience:

1. The receptionist that has the morning shift always had an attitude, and always ignored us when we approached the Desk. He seemed like he did not want to work at all.

2. They say they have a Buffet, but in reality they have someone serving very small portions of only scrambled eggs, 1 arepa, 1 bread and two pieces of papaya fruit. You cannot go back for more. You get what you get.

3. The building feels abandoned. There is no type of maintenance there ants all over the couches in the lobby when you first walk in.

4. The pool is very dirty and no one working in those areas.

5. The jacuzzi schedule is not followed or respected. The guest are suppose to have an hour of jacuzzi time. When we arrived there was a family that didn’t want to leave so I called the receptionist and no one helped us or had been or respected the time that we are required.

6. Cold jacuzzi

7. Shower is cold water.

8. Only one elevator working.

9. Far from everything.

Over all not worth it at all.

I really like the building is very clean quiet, the staff was very nice, just be aware is located in Rodadero south means is far from the beach and the rodadero taxi is needed to go there.
The other thing is the wifi goes in and out.

I booked this stay for my mom’s and aunties vacation. They were thrilled about the warmth of the staff members, the location, the breakfast ( super delicious and affordable ), the cleanliness of the place, their pool, the service… basically everything! Nice, well-kept rooms, HOWEVER, deficient in things such as hot water (water was not even warm), Internet was extremely weak and only useful in certain areas. We reserved the jacuzzi and it wasn’t working when we got there. We reported the problems and they said they were going to send someone over to fix it, but never did. Kitchen staff was friendly and kind. Food was good.

This property is located in the outserts of Rodadero. No stores are walkable. There is a fee for everything. Paid by separate entities. Front desk fees, restaurant fees, property management fees. Was very confusing. TV’s and internet never worked.

When we arrived we were greeted with very friendly staff. They have two elevators the one elevator was out for service. Which took a very long time to go up and down from the 12th floor. When we arrived we noticed there is no hot water we called down immediately. They told us that they would have to call somebody in to fix it which took a full 24 hours. Our stay was three days however we only had hot water for one and a half days. The couch leg was broken on the one side. A little stool had a big hole in it. The fridge was not working but after plugging it in it worked. The next day our food and water and ice were totally thawed as the cleaners unplugged the fridge again. For breakfast it was expensive and not very good. The views of the apartment were incredible and the staff were very friendly. When you rent something out and you’re paying good money for it they should make sure that everything works and is in working condition. This place required for you to take a taxi as it it was not in a very good area. We would have like to been able to walk and explore.

It's in an area that is going to be in construction. But that's not a problem except that it is a taxi ride to get to any decent restaurants. There was constant music noise coming from way down the road somewhere and it seemed to travel to our floor (9) quite easily. Louder and longer on the weekends. The apartment itself is quite nice and is actually an apartment complete with everything you'd need to live there and cook for yourself. It's a short walk to the beach and probably one of the nicest beach areas around in that it's not covered with people trying to get your money. Wifi wasn't good, it's the slower 'n' type of wifi and despite having router in our apartment it wasn't used by the system we were given at all, in room 902 there was only reception in the end of one bedroom and it was marginal and cutting out all the time. This meant quite an additional expense for travellers whom don't speak Spanish and are reliant on wifi and data. Both apartments we had (4 rooms) had poor maintenance. It didn't really limit or worry our stay, but it did detract from what should have been a better experience. e.g. none of the bedside lights worked because they had non Colombia power plugs, a silly problem with an easy fix. All the toilet roll holders fell off in both apartments. The headboard fell off on one side meaning we couldn't use the side table. One of the showers had completely broken doors. Staff were very nice and attentive to all our needs.

The hotel seemed a little run down, the dining area was not great, items we asked for from menu they did not have.
Bedroom sink started leaking when brushing my teeth and made a huge puddle.

I arrived in Santa Marta at 8am on a Sundy morning and they did not answer the phone. However within 45 mins they responded to my email and allowed me to have an early check in at 10am. The people are nice - the views are spectacular - the breakfast is good and the coffee great - I stayed there again and would recommend this place for the price

I booked a 6 people apartment, and when we arrived they asked me for extra money to allow us to check in early. We declined and went to explore the area. When we returned to the place, they asked me for more money again, to allow us (6people) to stay in the apartment. They claimed that since the reservation was on my name, they PREPARED the apartment for me only. We ended up leaving this place and renting another place that was cheaper than what they were asking me extra, to spend the night. Because they couldn’t take more money from me to check in earlier, they attempted to get more money when we returned to check in. It was a false advertisement and I do not recommend this place.

New and Huge Apaertment. The staff was helpful and nice. We checked out and went on a tour on the same day. Staff gave us towels, soap and shampoo when we arrived back on the tour. What i did like was restaurent was expensive and pool was cold. there was not too much things in walkable distance. The distance might have been a good thing since it was quiet.

I didn't like that I had to pay extra for the third person that stayed the night even though the accommodation was for six people. In other words, you will have to pay extra for every guest above two people, which isn't specified when you make the reservation
I also didn't like that it was remotely located, and there were no restaurants nearby

Great little Apartment Hotel..all the amenities

Great place to ramp down. 3 blocks walk from the beach and 5 blocks walk from downtown Gaira. You can cab, but why? Wonderful place to stay. Perfect little get away. Quiet. No noise. No traffic. Front desk is friendly You need to speak spanish if you stay here. If you don't you're making a huge mistake...and wont' be happy. Trust me when I say that.

The rooms are set up like apartments. Nice views, pool and jacuzzi. Could have done a better job with clean sheets in the room.
The hotel appears to be a new build and is isolated (not close to the beach). If the price is right, then I would book the hotel again and take the long walk to the beach and other locations. But if the price is not very competitive, I would not consider this property again for my next trip to Santa Marta.

Unsafe surroundings! Stranded in the desert.

This hotel looks very nice in the photos and ammenities description but do not be fooled. When we got dropped off in front I was shocked that it is isolated on its own on the side of a mountain. You can see the beach from the balconies but you have to walk through a sketchy neighborhood to get there and the staff told us to come back to the hotel by 5pm because afterwards it is not safe. There is no where to buy drinks or food. The hotel is far from El Rodadero beach where other hotels are located and a 15-20 min taxi ride to Santa Marta - main city. The pool is small and on the 5th floor with a view of nothing. And it closes at 6pm. There is nothing on the sides of the hotel or in front other than empty lots with fencing and barbed wire. If you want to feel stranded in the desert this hotel is a great option. Otherwise look for a 3 or 4 star hotel in Santa Marta.

Hotel with mountain and sea views

It was spectacular sitting in the hot tub, on the 14th floor, watching the sunset over the Caribbean, and seeing the light being cast on the sky and mountains behind us. We could enjoy both worlds with just the turn of our heads.
Great facilities: jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym and pool with shading, all clean and well maintained
The staff were excellent! From the cooks to the cleaners, Jek in particular made our vacation stress free. Whether it was ordering food, getting directions or a taxi, preparing delicious breakfasts, they went above and beyond. Thank you!!!

Hotel is ok. there's no restaurants around and the hotel restaurants is not good. Food is to $$ for what you get. We have to take transportation to near restaurant for a good meal. Pretty stressful when you have kids. The hotel also have problems with the elevators. Rooms clean, from desk and housekeeper good. But the restaurant in general including the restaurant manager not the best.

The hotel is very comfortable, nice swimming pool and sauna. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. However, the neighbourhood is not near the touristic area and didn't feel safe to go out at evenings/night.

La señora fue llamada por la página de reservaciones y como no sabía inglés el señor no le pudo confirmar que ya estaba pagada la reserva. El peor servicio del mundo.

El apartamento está bien dotado, pero le falta mucho aseo al baño, el ventilador de la habitación está suelto y parece que se fuera caer al prenderlo se mueve de lado a lado el soporte y suena muy duro no lo pudimos, prender y se siente mucho calor.
Las barandas de los balcones en el edificio son muy inseguras ya que al pararse la baranda da abajo de la cintura y son muy inseguras para los niños, el desayuno es espectacular super rico es a lo único que le pondría calificación 10, al rededor del edificio aun están construyendo más edificios esto hace que sea muy sola la zona e insegura, el personas del edificio muy atento. Lo otro es que los ascensor son súper demorados cuando suben y bajan y no tienen aire acondicionado eso hace que sea eternos los viajes en este.

Check in took over an hour. We were 6 couples and booked 6 rooms and they tried to put us 2 couples to a room and they tried to overcharge us. We asked for 2nd keys to our rooms and couldn’t get them. Air only stays on with a key. There was 2 elevators but one was closed off. Breakfast was ok. Rooms were good size and clean. View was awesome- pool was good.

Llegamos noche, pero nos recibieron con mucha amabalidad. La habitación que nos entregaron tenia fallas con el aire acondicionado pero inmediatamente nos cambiaron de habitación. El apartamento es cómodo. Requiere reparaciones pese a ser un edificio relativamente nuevo. Hacen falta tomas eléctricas en las habitaciones para conectar lámparas y cargadores, un gabinete de la cocina ya estaba suelto, el microondas no funcionaba, una silla del comedor con una pata coja; en fin, detalles no muy grandes pero que empiezan a deteriorar el lugar.
El edificio está un poco apartado de la zona comercial, siempre hay entrar y salir en carro. De hecho, muchos taxistas no lo ubican aún.
La atención fue lo mejor, TODO EL PERSONAL muy amables.
