The hotel is located near many hotels in a quiet block in the Dongdaemun neighborhood. We arrived late at night, and after getting our rooms, we asked the reception desk for eating recommendations. The man behind the desk said he didn't know of any. We walked next door to the Ramada Inn Hotel, and even though we were not staying there, the concierge courteously indicated on a map the many restaurants two blocks away. The next day, after failing to get an Uber ride due to high demand, we requested assistance getting a taxi, and again, the reception desk person was unwilling to help. Since this pattern was repeated in other hotels across Corea, including the hotel in Jeju Island, I couldn't tell whether the reception desk staff knew what the neighborhood offered or preferred to feign ignorance to avoid engaging with English-speaking guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Baiton Hotel. It was easy and accessible to transportation specially the airport limousine which stops right in front. The place was clean and quiet. They also let us store our luggage when we go to Busan. That was really kind of them. Thank you very much Baiton Hotel. We look forward to staying with you again in the next travel.

Nicely located hotel with access to everything. They are kind enough to allow us to drop off our big luggage 3 days ahead of the booking while we visited Busan. The airport shuttle is also a convenient way of getting you to the airport if you have lots of luggage.

The quadruple room is a perfect size for my family. The entire unit is divided into two separate rooms which allowed privacy for the guests. Though, air conditioning needs some improvement. Relaxing ambiance with the hotel’s minimalist design. Reasonable price point for a mid-range hotel. Relatively sanitary and well-organized. Overall, the hotel stay was satisfactory.

Close enough to places you can walk to and restaurants to eat at, as well as the subway. The room was simple and clean, the bed a little hard but for the price an excellent deal. The American breakfast was nice, but only as a back up and you are tired and don’t want to venture out. The staff was always pleasant and their English ability decent. The room didn’t have a booklet about where things were located in the hotel and I’m really glad we went out of our way to check out the 21st floor roof garden. Got some great pictures there. Wouldn’t mind staying again

Location, location, location...

This hotel location is ideal for the travel happy person. Easy access to all transportaion, most bus to city travel are on the same block. The train is a block away which makes traveling hassel free and pleasurable. If you prefer not to cab, and you shouldn't Seoul mass transit system is clean and efficient. If you need to go to the Incheon Int'l airport, no problem the bus stops right in front of the hotel. No need to wait outside you can wait in the hotel lobby and step out right before arrival time.
The concierge speaks Korean, Chinese and English. Free WIFI, even in the lobby no PW required, which is awsome. If you didn't have time to change your currency to Korean Won...no worries they have an exchange ATM in the lobby for your convenience. They also have FREE parking, if you have a rental car or a guest stopping by. Street parking is treacherous in Seoul, so free parkings are a blessing.

We stayed in a double bed room, bed was soft and comfy. Bed sheets and comforter was clean, carpet was moderate can use some steam work. For those who like to talk, be considerate sound barrier is moderate.

Other amenities, free access to fitness room. You have the view of Nam San Tower, a nice view at night. Dong Dae Mun market is a good walk away, for those who like to shop. Along with Dong Dae Mun History and Culture Park for the culture buffs. As most Seoul has it, your awsesome dining experinces are only walks away. Enjoy!

I book the smallest room and was prepared for it to be small. But the heater is noisy and not as warm. I do not recommend this room for 2 person. Toilet on high floors do not flush good. Recommend staying on lower floors. Location is good and convenient. Great for shopping and food.

-we got in early and we could keep our luggage for free! we could also keep them after we checked out!
-we could refill our plain drinks daily in the restaurant downstairs (also FREE).
-daily towel change
-daily room cleaning.
-daily soap and shampoo refill.
-daily mineral water drinks refill
-really close to the main metro stops of 3 lines (purple, green, blue)--really convenient to go everywhere.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Seoul

The hotel is really close to the subway station (an easy 5-10 minute walk) and it is clearly visible. It is also the most attractive hotel on the strip.
We were greeted by friendly and very well-presented staff who honored our request for a non-smoking room with a bath and a view. The hotel is really lovely without being ostentatious.
Our room was clean, though a little warm. We turned off the heater but could not cool down the room without opening a window. This was not enough of an issue to justify calling the desk.
The bedding was fresh and comfortable - as was the bed, and we appreciated the water in our mini fridge. The WiFi is fast, too.
All amenities were to our satisfaction!
We had a great view from our room, but we went up to the rooftop garden to watch the New Year’s fireworks. What an incredible, panoramic view! We could watch the display at the new Lotte World Tower, as well as the display over the Hyatt near Itaewon - all without the crowds.
Plus: just down the road are several restaurants - we would highly recommend Fortune for excellent Uzbek and Russian cuisine, as well as a fabulous bakery.

The hotel is clean and value for money. There are a few convenient stores around the hotel. We just have to walk about 2 minutes to Tous Le Jours bakery restaurant for our breakfast since our hotel did not include breakfast. The nearest subway to our hotel was exit 6. DPP was just about 10 minutes walk.

No AC because \"it's not the season to use it\"

How dare they decide when and when not to use the A/C for their customer's comfort? We checked in and it was afternoon and it was HOT and humid and stifling in that small room. Called front desk and was told to just open our windows (which were 2 small holes btw) because it's not the season to use the A/C. IT WAS HOT even when those 2 small holes were opened. The hallway outside is cooler than the room but I cannot leave the door unlocked.

Room was very small, no place to put your luggages in. We had the triple sharing room, and to walk between beds, you have to walk sideways. To open one of our luggages, 2 people had to sit and stay in bed so I can rummage the luggage on the floor. OR haul it on the bed so the others can walk past to go the bathroom. Bathroom is nice but also very small, only 1 person can fit it and it's a tub/shower/toilet in the same room.

No A/C, the 'hood

Location: near Dongdaemun Plaza and a university. Myeongdong (shoppers paradise) is very near. You can see Namsam Tower from the hotel window. However, the place seems like it's in the lower end of the 'hood. Old, dlapidated buildings/houses in the back. No wonder they won't show the actual picture of the hotel in real time photos.

Room: Booked for a triple sharing room. VERY small even to Seoul standards. To walk between beds, you have to walk sideways. No room to put luggages in, especially if you have 3 big luggages. To open our luggages, 2 people have to stay in bed so I can open it on the floor OR haul it up on the bed so people can walk to the bathroom. The bathroom is nice but very small. It's a shower/tub and toilet in the same small room. When we checked in and went to our room, it was HOT and couldn't figure out their temp setting so I called the front desk and he said that \"IT'S NOT IN SEASON TO USE THE AIRCONDITIONING UNIT SO WE JUST HAVE TO OPEN OUR WINDOWS\" and mind you, it's 2 small holes. It was hot, it was humid and it was stifling! Add that to the smallness of the room and there goes your hotel stay experience.

Staff: Very friendly, some with limited english. There was one male staff (during the night) that spoke really good English. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff made up for the communication issue. I had to use Google translate at times.

It's for business people

The hotel is professional. The rooms are small. The main clientele are for business people. The walls are thin, that you can hear the neighboring room. Security is good. You need a room key to activate the elevator. The fitness gym is poor. It has a dumbbell set. 2 bikes and 2 treadmills in a small room. The laundry room is also in the gym. The hotel location is centralized in Seoul. That's a good thing.

Satisfactory but needs improvement

I am a Korean living outside of Korea and need to travel Korea at least once a month. Baiton was selected because I know the location well and the facilities looked OK. Everything was fine except (1) the lift and (2) the front desk. There are only two lifts which looked not enough for 20 floors hotel. And my wife usually orders some Korean foods through online shop and get them delivered to the hotel where I stay. I haven't never failed to collect them but I failed this time because the hotel didn't give me the notice so I just came back home without collecting it.

I, along with 3 friends, stayed at this hotel for a 2 week vacation. We enjoyed ourselves here. The rooms were clean when we got there and housekeeping was prompt everyday about bringing new towels and robes. The washer/dryer was a little weird to work but it got the job done. A few times we ran into trouble such as getting a taxi or ordering food. The employees there were very helpful in resolving these matters promptly. David was one of our favorites because he was very helpful and knowledgeable about many things in the area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is taking a trip to South Korea. The subway is about a 5 minute walk away and the Post Office (in case you buy alot of souvenirs) is literally right around the corner.

With a walk of 10mins away from prime shopping area. At night can be consider semi-dark place but with 7eleven at the opposite of the hotel and another 24 hours shop at the right side of the hotel can be good too. Directly at the front of airport limo bus stop and works every 20mins from 5am to 8pm.

Staff not helpful, room too small you can't even move, kettle had to be on top of the basin as no space. smelly bathroom, breakfast was waste of money. No place to hang towel, advertised bathrobe, wardrobe so tiny only room for 3 coats. Total dump.
Chose it as it was 40% off & airport bus stops outside.
Don't stay at this hole. It's not even 1 star.

This Hotel is good and cozy. the staff were very friendly. the surrounding neighborhood is very quiet and everything shuts down early. we asked for two wine glasses and we couldn't get it bc they said the restaurant was closed. the room overall was good and cozy. the only problem I had the light by the door kept turning on by itself since it was a sensor. when I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night it disturbed my mate because it turned on by itself.

Walking distance to Dongdaemun, but the subway is quite far. you hv to walk about 10 mins to dongdaemun cultural park station or almost 10 mins to eljiro 4 station. Taking a bus is a better choice from Myeong dong. Airport bus stop at Acacia hotel, so it is very convenience. Hotel is very nice and clean, i love it.

Good hotel for conferences at the DDP Centre

Stayed here for a conference at the DDP centre, which was within walking distance. Rooms were modern, clean and cozy, but walls were very thin so you could hear everything in the next room. The AC in the room also only appeared to work on heating mode but if you get too hot the windows open. Check in was extremely quick and the wifi was excellent and reliable. Airport limousine bus to and from Incheon airport is about 100m walk away, so good location overall.

Vicinity of Dongdaemun shopping belt

About 10-15mins walk from Dongdaemun. Nearest Airport busstop is 5-10mins from hotel. Rooms are new and cosy (not spacious), facilities are sufficient - laundry, gym etc. (did not use though). Staff was very helpful - we extended our stay aft tour group and made separate bookings extra 2days. Initially could not swap room or check in early, had to check at 12noon and re-checkin at 2pm. But the staff made an effort allow us easy transfer room to room eventhough the occupancy is high. Overall value for money.

A new hotel far away from train station

It takes around 12-15 minute to walk from Dongdaemun History and Museum Station to the hotel, not 3 minute. Be prepared to walk upstairs/ downstairs with no lift when carrying suitcase. The hotel is newly-decorated and cozy but a bit small. Room cleaniness needs to be improved because we see dirt on bed sheet and lots of hair under bed lamp. The most serious problem is water leakage in hotel. When taking shower, water flows out from the bottom of the glass shield and half of the toilet area is wet.

Baiton Hotel's website promises more than it delivers to guests. It is located at the edge of, not in the heart of Dongdaemun. The shopping area & Design Plaza are 15mins walk away. The staff was polite but totally clueless if asked for directions or things to do. There is no life around the hotel in the evening. Double room was so small that only 1 person can move at a time. No space for luggage. Stay here only if you are a backpacker with a haversack. Our standard sized 24\" cases had to be put upright & stacked against a small window that had no views. My partner & I had to take turns to pack/unpack everyday, by placing one suitcase on the bed at a time. The so called closet is narrower than a gym locker - totally useless. There is no shelf for toiletries & no hooks to hang towels in the bathroom. Contrary to photos on Baiton's website, there is no bath tub; the shower stall is narrower than those in gyms or swimming pools. For same room rate, there are other three star hotels with more liveable & spacious rooms in Seoul. Baiton is overrated as a hotel; its double room is like a guesthouse's crashpad for solo travellers. It is new & clean, that's all. We were so relieved that we had only booked two prepaid nights. Moving out was the happiest moment of our holiday.

Only recommend for business stay

I & my friend had stayed in this hotel for a 5-day self travel trip in Oct.

Due to hotel is newly opened, the overall condition & service is good. The front desk staff were extremely helpful & showed their patient to answer our queries.

But, the washroom is too small. Also, there is no socket next to the minibar when we wanted to boil hot water with the kettle provided. We could only put the kettle on the desk at the end of the bed or inside washroom for boiling hot water.

Thought the hotel is closed to subway exit, but it took at least 15 minutes walking distance to the exit from underground which made us feel exhausted. Also, the nearby environment of the hotel is such a remote spot & not many eating places nearby.

Nice budge hotel in Dongdaemun

The staff were nice and they greeted me whenever I passed by the front desk. They were helpful when I asked them to keep the luggages before check in and after check out. Security was good as room card was required when taking the elevator to the guest room floors.

The hotel is new and everything is okay except the bathroom. The floor drain is outside the shower cubicle and that's why the floor is always wet after shower.

It is less than 5 mins walk to metro line# 5. However, it will take around 10 mins to take line# 2 and 4.
It takes less than 5 mins to walk to airport limousine stop.

The location is a little bit quite as it is not very close to the Dongdaemun shopping area. It is around 10 mins walk to the popular shopping areas.

Overall it was a nice stay.

A highly recommended hotel in Seoul

I seldom write reviews for a hotel but I feel this hotel is well worth it. It's the first time that i brought my 5 months old baby for a trip. And I know that hotel don't have any infant bed when they started their business. Once they know that there will be a baby to stay in their hotel for 6 days, the receptionist told me they will buy an infant bed immediately and ready before our arrival.

Apart from their good service, the location of this hotel is good, we only take 2-3 minutes walk to reach the railway (Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station Exit 6 or 7, but without escalator), around 10 minutes walk to Exit 11 and 12 which have escalator (for our baby stroller) and close to the shopping area such as Good Morning City, Doota, Miligore and Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Besides, there is a CJ food world near Baiton Hotel as well, only 1 minute walk to go there. It contains a famous bakery shop Tous Les xxxxx and Twoxxxx Place coffee and various cuisines, definitely can have a nice breakfast there.

The room is overall comfortable and satisfaction but of course still have spaces to improve such as the water pressure in bath-tub is not enough...washing machine is in Korean...etc..

12月に友人と2人旅、初海外で韓国を訪れました！
客室はとても綺麗でした！トイレ・浴室も清潔でとても過ごしやすかったです！
23:00頃チェックインしました。仁川空港からのリムジンバスの乗降がホテルの目の前(バスの乗降場の名前になっています)なので、初めての韓国でも、安心してバスを降りることができました！
　シャワーの水圧は少し弱めですが、そんなに気になりません。お湯の温度はしっかり温かく雪が降る中ホテルに帰った後でもしっかり体が温まりました！シャワーの使い方が見慣れない感じでしたが、チェックイン時にカードキーと一緒にもらう、小さな案内カードにシャワーやコンセントの使い方が書いてありました！
バスの乗り場地下鉄も少し歩けばあるので移動にも困りません！
　近くにはCUとGS25もあり、便利です。(セブンイレブンは開いてませんでした)
　スタッフの方との会話はチェックイン/アウトの時だけでしたが、優しかったです！
　WOWPASSの機械もあるので、円→ウォンへの両替やカードへのチャージなどもできます！
　とーっても満足です。ありがとうございました

従業員の対応は親切でしたが、清潔面に問題があります。
枕カバーには髪の毛がついており、タオルにもファンデーションのような汚れが残っていました。
さらに、安全面も少し気になります。
エレベーターに乗る際、ルームキーをタッチしなくても全フロアに行けるようで、防犯面で不安を感じました。
清掃やセキュリティの改善を望みます。おすすめはできません。

Nous avons séjourné 2 jours a baiton hotel. La chambre est agréable : propre, assez grande pour 3. L'accueil fut également très satisfaisant.

除了大廳櫃檯人員，其他都非常好～！

機場巴士門口，不管要走去搭地鐵還是公車也都不遠

這次住的四人房有比想像中在小一點～但是四張床真的太棒的～但是床邊的插座有點少，幾乎集中在一面，充電都要集中在一個房間，廁所的兩個水槽也是超棒～浴缸比平常遇到的還要大～超級寬～適合想泡澡的人

最後就是大廳服務人員，因為我真的一直招不到計程車想要請飯店人員幫忙～他們直接拒絕～說只能幫忙叫機場接送～這個真的必須扣一顆星！！！！！

全体的に綺麗で、シャワーブースもしっかり仕切られていて良かったです。
チェックインやチェックアウトも簡潔で早かったです。
ホテルの目の前から仁川空港行きのバスが出るので、荷物を預かってもらって、ギリギリに受け取っても、すぐにバスが来てくれるので助かりました。

空港バス目の前&始発

東大門歴史文化公園駅で2号4号線からの場合、遠くなります。最寄りの出口まで5号線のホームを横断して行く必要があります。さらにB3ぐらいから地上まで階段ですので夏は汗がとまりませんでした。
ホテル自体は快適で、掃除もきちんと入ってくれます。
エレベーターは高級ホテルにありがちな、部屋のキーをかざさないとダメなタイプでした。

7月27日から4人部屋に3泊しました。交通の便が良く、家族4人が宿泊できるところで探しました。5号線、4号線、2号線に駅がありますが、2号線の駅は遠いので、5号線と4号線の駅を使いました。5号線の7番出口が一番近いですが、2回階段を歩きます。ホームから階段で１つ上がったところにエレベーターがあり、たしか地下1階まで上がれますが、そこは改札の外なので、エレベーターに乗る前にＴマネーをタッチする必要があります。これが分かりにくいので、要注意です。7番出口からは5分かからないし、まわりにコンビニも多くあります。5号線の駅が近いので、金浦空港に着いた方は、50分ほどかかりますが、5号線1本で来れるので、この方法をお勧めします。広蔵市場やDDP、忠武路は10分ちょっとで歩けます。部屋はツィンを２つ繋いだような作りで、間に扉があります。21階の部屋だったので、Ｎソウルタワーはきれいに見えました。部屋は広めです。冷房もよくきいてました。バスルームも広めで、シャワーはハンドシャワーと天井からのシャワーの切り替えができます。あとバスローブがあるので、便利です。コンセントは2つの部屋のうちの1つに日本のコンセント2か所とＵＳＢ2か所あります。ただしＵＳＢの方はゆるゆるになっていて、接触が悪く使えませんでした。あと机の下に延長コードがあって韓国のコンセントが2か所あったので、問題はなかったです。1階のフロントにコンセントのプラグが置いてあったと思いますが、持って行っていたので、確認はしていません。ホテルのまわりにも多少飲食店はありましたが、行っていません。あえていえば、朝食のとれる店が少ないかなと思います。10分ほど歩けば、色々あります。全般的には良かったと思います。4人部屋を探されてるならお勧めします。

空港リムジンバスのバス停がホテルの目の前にあり、行き帰りの移動が大変便利でした。周辺にはコンビニもあり、地下鉄の駅も近いのが良かったです。チェックイン・チェックアウトの手続きもスムーズでした。部屋は毎日綺麗に清掃していただいていたので快適でした。またソウルを訪れる際には宿泊したいです。
