Great location. Close to a station with 3 lines so easy to get around. Flat ground to station so good for suitcases.
My room had a musty smell which only went away after 2 days and getting a room freshener myself. But it was a good size and everyrhing worked fine.
The staff were lovely and always assisted me including finding a sock that went missing from my laundry.
We stayed 10 days in total and it was a completely adequate stay.

Beautiful property and perfect location. However, it might be a cultural thing but you will not experience the same kind of welcome you feel in America. People will not greet you. Room is a lil smaller than I expected and I’m an airline employee that travels the world. Room was cleaned daily and sheets were replaced. I would definitely recommend just wanted to highlight certain things so travelers are aware. Ps: I didn’t recognize that there was mold on my bathroom ceiling. I can tell they didn’t pay attention to detail when cleaning. Over all a clean property

The room was dirty, and dusty. We we arrived the lobby staff took a 10 minute phone call in the middle of us checking in and we thought that was rude.

The bed was cozy, but the room was very dirty on the walls. In the bathroom the paint was peeling by the tub.

The room was incredibly dirty when I was checked in. There were dusty everywhere, floor, shower room, bath tub, even on the bed sheet.I told the staff to change the room but unfortunately, there were no available room. So, I asked for cleaning my room asap, the staff promised. But there were no one came to clean. An hour later, I told the staff again about my unclean room. They apologized me again and promised to clean my room. So, I went out and come back later night. MY ROOM STILL DIRTY AS BEFORE.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel the Designers, the concierge staff were very friendly and helpful to me. The hotel room suite was excellent and always restocked with amenities that I needed daily. Even during the hard time of 2021, this hotel has still upheld very high standards of service. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely book here again. :)

Location is great; near the subway station and airport bus. Customer service was subpar. Front desk do not greet you (did not look at us at all) when you enter and are unfriendly when answering questions. Room was spacious for a family of 3 adults.

Great location with below average service

The room was prepared and ready when I checked in late in the night, less than 5 mins upon arrival to the hotel so that was great, first impression is good. However the bedsheets were not changed even upon request(I made the request on my fourth day), I have to make a second request(on the fifth day) when I found out it was not changed, as there was a stain on the bedsheet we saw during our first night. The location is great for travelling to various place of interest and near to the bus stop of the airport bus 6001.

I was very disappointed with the service from the Receptionists during my check in and out of the hotel. I wouldn't bother to explain more as I am someone who worked in the service line as a Hotel Concierge and currently a flight attendant for a national carrier. I only looked forward to my suite room which is really gorgeous but again disappointed with the Housekeeping as toilet roll and tissue box was not replaced with a new one. Everything else in the room was in perfect condition except for minor defects which doesn't bother me at all. I like the location as it is easy to grab a cab and near a train station.

Big and modern designed room. Very convenience!

This is the 3rd time I traveled to Seoul and this was the best hotel we had... Location is great because it is very close to every where we want to go. Room is very nice, big and modern. Our room has a huge bath tub and a separate shower in the bathroom. Hotel also provide very comfortable slippers and bath robes for each guest.

Everything was good, modern, clean and comfort. Interestingly, was hard to find the power spot in the wall, best to ask the reception. Location is 5 minutes walk away from shopping and food. Subway exit across the road. Easy to get taxi.

The 2 big pluses of this hotel are price and the location. It's across the Metro station and walking distance to malls and the DDP. The 2 big minuses are the cleanliness of facilities and the customer service of staff. We stayed for 5 days and they actually just fix the bed and the toiletries, but they never vacuum the carpet, and didn't clean the bathroom well. There was a ball of hair in the shower drain for days (even before we arrived!). Outside our room is the service elevator, and there the dirty linens are piled for few days for everyone to see (see photos), and gets only picked up less frequently (a curtain or an actual door would have been a simple solution). Only the carpet inside the elevator is always dusty. The staff are very friendly, but because of low English proficiency, they are unable to help much. Even when they understood, they seem to lack the confidence or even the knowledge on tips for sightseeing and restaurants - which I think are basic skills in keeping with the tourism industry market.

リムジンバス乗り場も近く、交通機関も近くて便利でした。

We chose this hotel mainly for its location near the DDP, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, aside from the location, the experience was disappointing.

The hotel is in poor condition, looking old and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was a major issue. Even though we put up the “please clean my room” sign every day, our room was never cleaned during our two-week stay. The bed was only made about four times, and while fresh towels were provided, no actual cleaning was done.

The air-conditioning unit was dirty and triggered allergic reactions for me (I have asthma), so I had to sleep with a mask at night. The bed itself was very hard and uncomfortable, even for Korean standards.

On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly. However, the lack of proper cleaning and maintenance really affected our stay. I’ve stayed in better 2-star hotels, and I hope management addresses these issues.

東大門総合市場での買い物が目的でこちらのホテルを利用しました。
最寄りの東大門歴史文化公園駅は3本の路線が入っていて、交通の便はかなり良く便利でした。
部屋の広さも充分で、洗面・トイレ・お風呂が広いので浴槽でシャワーを浴びてもトイレがずぶ濡れになる事はなく、用意していたシャワーカーテンも必要なかったです。
ただ一つ、コンセントを刺す所が2箇所しかなかったのが不便でした。
他は何も困った事はなくスタッフも日本語が話せて親切で良かったです。

地下鉄の駅も近いのでどこへ行くにも行きやすい場所でした。

ちょっと残念でした

いつもは市庁に宿泊しますが、初めて東大門付近に泊りました。場所は駅からも近く外観からすぐに分かり、どこに行くにも便利な立地で良かったです。お部屋の写真から期待していたのですが、想像以上に古く、壁一面鏡で落ち着きませんでした。お部屋にアメニティは１つもありませんし、コンセントが遠く3つ穴しかありません。お水ポットコップ冷蔵庫などはあります。バスタブがあるのも選んだ理由の一つでしたが、水はけが悪くシャワーも使いにくくて結果として湯船には浸かりませんでした。もう利用することはありません。

地下鉄最寄から、8分くらいで立地は良いが、ホテルのタオルやシーツが汚かった。
お部屋に入るドアが鍵はかかるが完全に閉まらない感じで少し浮いてる感じで音漏れもする。
トイレとバスルームのドアが閉まらず手でドアを押さえながらトイレをしないと外に音丸聞こえだし丸見え状態。とても安かった訳ではないのにこの感じだったのでもう、泊まらないかもしれません。

コンセントがベットサイドになく非常に不便、また数も少ない。バスタブにカーテンがないのでシャワー使用時水撥ねに気を使う。タオルかけも無い。
洋服掛けがコートがかけられなくて不便。
部屋はまあまあでしたけど、以上改善されればもっといい評価になると思います。

写真はだいぶ綺麗に撮られてますがお値段相応なホテルです。
この金額でバスタブが付いてるのはよかった。
交通の便はとてもいいです。
ドアの建て付けが悪く鍵がかかってるようでかかってなかったりするので注意。

立地だけは良いです。東大門のショッピングエリアまで徒歩で5〜10分程度。広蔵市場も徒歩圏内。ホテルへ最も近い地下鉄出口にはエレベーターが無く、果てしない階段が続くので注意。
スタッフは日本語が出来ない方のみでした。
部屋の入り口のドアが非常に開けづらく閉めづらい。玄関入ってすぐの扉は故障しており、使用できず。バスルームの扉も故障しており閉まらず。
バスタオルは髪の毛だらけ、掃除は行き届いておらず、ほこりまみれ。
次は無いかな、、、。

家族にはどうかな？

東大門での買い物目的で宿泊しました。　
ロビーもですが、部屋も所々傷んでいて室内も埃っぽく、また私たちの部屋は湯船やシャワー室とお部屋の扉の仕切りがなく悪く言えば丸見え？みたいな、カップルならともかく家族には使い勝手も悪く、長居したくないお部屋でした。良かった点は、翌朝行った明洞までバスですぐだったこと、歯ブラシ含めアメニティは一通りあった事ですが、ここのホテルは他の場所含め使うことはありません。

良かった点
この値段帯のホテルにしては部屋が広い。湯船がある。ウォシュレットがある。ランドリー設備がある(らしい。使ってないので)横がコンビニ。フロントに荷物を測る体重計？があった。
良くなかった点
衛生面での評価が低かったので、水回りを気にして見たところ、少しカビがあった。ただ、気になるほどではない。東大門歴史文化公園駅からは近いけど、ミリオレやドゥータモールまでは割と歩く。1番近いであろうAPMplaceまでも、夜は少し怖かった。

清掃が遅いなど、評価が悪い方もいらっしゃいますが、私が一度ホテルに戻った16時には清掃は終わってたので、私は気になりませんでした。
