Very clean and spacious room. Love the kitchen and the balcony. Convenient washer and dryer. They don’t provide toothbrush/toothpaste or laundry detergent but atleast they have 2 convenience stores nearby. Very close to a lot of popular shopping streets that are within 15-20 minute walking distance. Love that the hotel staff are multilingual but we still had a lot of miscommunication and it caused a lot of stress for a short trip.

Highly recommend stay here if you’re visiting Seoul! Very clean, has an Emart on the 2nd floor and a GS25 right across. The subway line is also within a walking distance. Staff is also very polite and helpful. The room is spotless. We did laundry almost every other day and the air dresser is a bonus to keep our coats fresh.

Check in and check out was incredibly fast and easy. There are two convent stores near by, one in the building and a GS25 across the street. Perfect location, only a 5 min walk from the subway. Room was clean and service was perfect. I’d recommend this stay for anyone who wants to be near Myeongdong Street

Best hotel of my trip! The room was spacious and clean. There’s an oven/microwave, kettle, and fridge. The bed was pretty good and the shower and toilet were clean.

Luggage storage is paid, but ultimately it’s not that expensive if limited to less than 24 hours. Food delivery to the hotel is easy as there is a food delivery counter for the food to be delivered and for pickup.

There are two convenience stores in the vicinity and one is 24 hours.

Staff was helpful (and I leaned on them a lot. The facility was and well thought out for the longer term traveler.The neighborhood was a little disorienting. The”front” of the hotel opens up to a maze of small pathways and temporary construction walkways. One is reasonably close to what you want to do, but none of it is particularly near. Google map the property and You’ll get a sense of what I mean (and do this - you need to have a mental image of there area, especially, if you are going to stay for awhile).

Overall the experience was really good and I had a great trip. I was a little disappointed in housekeeping however. I stayed a total of 8 nights (and in a pricier room) and on 3 occasions that I asked for the room to be cleaned before 10:30 a.m. and did not return until after 4:00, the room was still not cleaned. I had to take my trash to housekeeping to be thrown away, ask for fresh towels, request additional water, and on my final full day I had to ask for more tissues and toilet paper. For the amount of money I spent, I just don't think that is something that I should have to go out of my way to request.

Nice hotel, language was a bit of a barrier at reception, no room service, nothing close by, minimum 10min walk (incl decent food) or subway/bus ride, room had no appliances to cook with like toaster, pots, utensils (except a couple of plates, knives, forks, & spoons). I would like to cook, this wasn’t an option. Surrounding area had heaps of hardware shops, was really weird.

It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in Seoul so far, mainly for the amenities in the room. The bigger rooms come with washer, dryer, and styler. Room also had two aircon that can actually adjust. Most of the other hotels i’ve stayed at do not allow you to adjust the aircon for some reason. Staffs are ok, location is the best for our purpose.

The room was fine, but strange. We had a 2 bedroom suite. The master bedroom was partitioned by glass, so there was no privacy. The second bedroom had no door. The kitchen area was nicely appointed and they had outlets that fit USA plugs and USB charge ports. The workout room was nice. Elevators took a long time.

Before booking this hotel, saw very positive reviews so we booked it. It’s a big spacious family room with kitchen but not fully equipped.
For tourists, we need to have a good sleep be able to travel next day. We did not sleep well because one of the bedroom just right opposite the bathroom with toilet together, if one person in shower, you could hear the water, the lights from the bathroom, because the bedroom doesn’t have DOOR and only about 2 meters away. At night who ever go toilet and can wake up others because of the flushing water.
If the bedroom has a door it will make huge differences. Quests can sleep better and happier.

We enjoyed staying at The Hotel Botanik Sewoon because of the very convenient location which was walkable to many of the markets, malls, restaurants and bars we wanted to visit, and it is also close to many bus and subway stops as well as being an easyTaxi and Uber pickup location.
The best part was our room, which was very clean and included two bedrooms and we added an extra single rollaway bed which easily fit in the living room. This fit our family of four (with two teenagers) well.
We were also excited that we could rent their screening room (small movie theater), to watch the premier of our favorite Netflix series.
Lastly we loved having a convenience store open 24/7 onsite.
Would definitely recommend and come back to this hotel again!

My 3rd stay at the hotel this year. Location is great in between 2 subway stations (line 3 and 2) so handy for getting around Seoul. This area (Euljiro) and especially near the hotel is know as Hipjiro and is definitely up and coming. The hotel is fairly new and the rooms are extremely comfortable. I also love that they have a washing machine and steamer. If I come back to Seoul again I will definitely stay here

We booked the two-bedroom suite. It had a musty odor when we first walked in. The main bedroom is nice but the second bedroom is tiny - there is barely any space to walk around to the other side of the bed; there is no closet and definitely no space for luggage. The location is not ideal for those who are visiting Seoul for the first time. It’s in a quiet area, empty at night, a bit of a walk to popular attractions. The hotel will not store your luggage for free if you check in/out - instead, they offer coin locker storage for which you can pay hourly. There is a convenience store in the building that’s very helpful to access. Overall our experience was just okay.

The kitchen is functional but not many utensils or dishes available (apparently you can rent more) - we only used the kettle and the fridge so it wasn't a problem for us. We were able to do late check-out for a minimal charge. Hotel is within walking distance of a few different subway stations, which is very convenient for getting around.

The hotel is a newly built hotel. The inside is very modern and clean. We stayed in the Bontanik Suite as a family of 4 adults. There were 2 bedrooms and the space was very spacious. There is a full kitchen and in unit washer and dryer which was great. The hotel is about 5-7 minute walk to 3 different train lines which made getting around very easy. I only gave it 4 stars as I felt the front staff could be a bit more friendlier. They seem under staffed. Hotel is not in a centrally located tourist area so not too many restaurants or shops around. There’s construction going around the hotel.

The overly glowing reviews seem to be a stretch after staying here. It was ok across the board. Location was ok - walkable to places to see (Palace, stream, night markets) - but it’s in a more industrial area, off the main strip feeling, and was very eerie feeling walking at night. The rooms are definitely not spacious unless being able to touch the table from your bed and having no space to lay your luggage down (let alone two suitcases) is considered spacious. There was a dirty towel not cleaned out of our room, the fan was very loud all night and the light for the fan systems were so bright. I would say this is a 2-3 star rating for the rooms in North America standards. More like a budget motel for the room. It was ok and fine for when you’re out all day anyways, but definitely not luxurious. The working space, gym, golf simulator - all very nice. The front desk was lacking - they didn’t have maps, they gave wrong walking directions multiple times, they struggled to help us call a cab (give extra time for cabs) and couldn’t give recommendations on places to eat, go, etc if looking for a particular vibe.
It was pretty meh all in all.

The room was very clean and the bins and towels were serviced daily with the beds changed every two days.

For two people the suite was pretty spacious. The appliances (hair dryer, microwave, washing machine and dryer) all worked well.

Best part was the location. Close enough to two stations of the different lines we needed, it was also easy to wander back from places like Gyeongbokgung Palace.

I’d definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the BOTANIK. We booked the signature suite, which was perfect for our family. The suite was exceptionally clean and featured spacious rooms, heated floors, a washing machine, a dryer, and a walk-in closet. The staff was very helpful and polite!

The location was ideal, situated in the heart of the city. There were three nearby metro stations and three convenience stores—one inside the building, one across the street, and one at the corner.
We were also close to the palaces,food markets and the city center, making it perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul!
We highly recommend it!

The staff was very helpful with how to get around and seeing to our needs.
The wi-fi in our room was spotty till I mentioned this to the front desk. The technician came to the room within minutes, and the solution was to leave the router hanging out of the electric panel and the closet door open. My wife and I were very grateful and didn’t mind the little aesthetic inconvenience.
It was nice to be able to slide the glass partitions for noise reduction to sleeping area if one of us didn’t want to disturb the other. The sleeping area was somewhat cramp to navigate so that took a little getting used to. I would recommend one queen instead of two full size beds.
It was also great to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer in the room.
The location was great being located about a 6 minute walk to subway.
I will absolutely recommend this hotel to friends, family, and colleagues.

The kitchen area had a sponge and dishwashing soap for cleaning out the milk bottles and used plates. If you need to cook, just call the front desk and they will bring up a pan. The service staff cleaned our room and provided new towels everyday. The location is great - close to subway station and walkable distance to Myeongdong shopping street. There is a convenience store located on level 2 if you need anything urgently. Overall an amazing stay and would happily recommend to anyone.
