Check in was smooth and fast. Front desk was nice and professional. I must be getting old because I could hardly hear the girl talk. Anyways, room was nice and clean - had a washer (no dryer but that’s what the drying rack and balcony are there for), stove top, oven (but no microwave), large fridge and freezer (nice) and even a air dresser (to keep your clothes fresh). Had breakfast there daily - good mix of Korean and western - service was good as well.

Yes the AC kept the room cool however it wasn't that hot and seoul at this time.

It's great having a washing machine and dryer right inside the unit

Also there is a steaming press machine where you hang your clothes and it steams them straight Right inside your room

There is a kettle and a refrigerator plus a freezer which is a bonus and a microwave

Plenty of closet space to hang your clothes

Every unit has a balcony which is very nice

It is very centrally located where you're 2 blocks from a big market and 2 blocks from the big palace and a block from the metro station

You are also just one block away from the mid city stream and walkway

I would definitely stay here again

They even have a robot that delivers extra towels and room items to your door

This hotel is not in Myeongdong which I liked. It is about 1km walk away from busy shopping area but very close to public transport and has many eating options nearby. The hotel suite was clean and spacious for central Seoul with washing machine and dryer. It has kitchen facilities but only had two plates and two forks. Overall excellent place to stay, and I would happily come back here

Hotel seems to be newly constructed. I guess less than 6 years judging from the elevator, newer bidet toilets, good hot temperature and good pressure showers and air conditioning units. For breakfast, they will print you breakfast vouchers with an assigned date. I assumed all the vouchers were the same and accidentally handed the staff a voucher a later date. Tip carefully read or at least use camera translation on your phone to translate using the washing machine and microwave.

I booked a Premier Suite Twin for my friend and I. The room was super spacious and clean and included several wonderful amenities, such as a sanitization closet, in-suite laundry, and a freezer! The gym was clean and in good shape, and the hotel is well-located as well. Just a short walk from a subway station. Definitely excellent value for money!
Only downside is that there were no options for breakfast to be included in the cost paid, (it was an extra daily charge). Additionally, my friend had an interaction with a front-desk employee who seemingly didn’t speak much English, which made communication difficult, (a hotel is the one place while travelling where you would not expect this to be an issue).
Overall though, I would definitely recommend Hotel The Botanik to others travelling to Seoul :)

Our stay at The Botanik was an amazing one. The room was spotless, beds were comfortable (maybe a bit too firm for a couple of us), the AC worked perfectly, and amenities were great. The room was sound proof. Our next door neighbor was having a part with music loudly playing. We could hear the music in the hallway, but not a sound was heard in our room!! The staff was welcoming, courteous, and informative.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Botanik. We stayed for 13 nights and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it! Lovely staff, room was very clean and spacious and was regularly serviced with free bottled water also supplied on a daily basis. It’s located in a perfect position for exploring being very close to the subway stations and right by the really lovely Cheonggyecheon Stream which we walked quite a few times (at night it’s comes alive with lighting and the waterfall at the end it fabulous) Thank you to the staff at the Botanik for making our trip special, we would definitely stay again if we ever come back!

The breakfast was amazing as it is hard to find places open early in Korea, this saved us from having to look for food first thing in the morning. I did think our room previously had pets though as my skin got a bit allergic after 3 days. The hotel is next to the Plaza where parts of Vincenzo was filmed so that was an added perk I wasn’t expecting. The hotel was clean and spacious.

absolutely LOVED our stay here! We stayed for 5 nights and then left for Busan and will be returning to same hotel for a few additional nights before flying home. Hotel offered to store our larger luggage while we took a smaller bag to Busan which was perfect, our suite was gorgeous and made for a very clean and comfortable stay. I posted about my trip recently on social media and my friends booked this hotel for their upcoming trip as well, I’m would recommend to everyone and anyone! Location is also perfect!

We stayed one night before this stay and that room was better condition than this one. This room seem to be dirtier. dust piled on bed ledge and wall has some red stain.
The worst is the washing machine which I was planning to use, but once I open the lid the inside smell like urine so I end up handwashing in the bathroom sink.

Overall, we did enjoy our stay at this hotel. Our suite was very nice. It was conveniently located. But view from our room was a construction site. Couldn't see the N Seoul Tower.

Cons:
1) The breakfast options was terrible. It was mostly carbs: waffle, noodle, fried rice, japchae, salad pasta, toast & pastries, etc. Not too many other options.
2) The water pressure from our shower was terrible. It took us forever to finish taking a shower.
3) The tiny washing & drying machine was a rip off. It took 2 hours to finish one load of laundry, and another hour to dry it.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this property! We had a kitchen, so much space to just chill and so much space in the closets! There was a closet just for the shoes. Also it was really nice that a washer/dryer unit was in the room as well. It felt more like an apartment with hotel amenities. It was also really nice that several convenience stores were right by and a subway station was close by as well! It’s not in central
myeongdong but I think I liked that factor. Definitely will stay here again!

A/C was excellent plus ability to open the door to let a fresh air was great. Slider door has bug screens. Washer and dryer in the room had help as we stay 6 nights there. Plenty of storage space and a full fridge with freezer. Never seen before the steam cleaning cabinet we used every night to remove a smell from night markets food. Highly recommend this hotel. A significant construction around the hotel did not bother much as it’s done when we were not at the hotel.

This hotel is, by far, our favorite. From the moment we arrived until the day we departed, we were treated with nothing but respect and exceptional hospitality. The staff were consistently welcoming, polite, helpful, and accommodating, making our stay truly enjoyable.

Our room featured a beautiful mountain view and included private hot springs, which added a relaxing and luxurious touch to our experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and we especially enjoyed the omelet station.

Although we did not have lunch at the hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. The hotel offers a different menu each evening, and the food was consistently delicious.

Another convenient feature is the complimentary shuttle service to and from Odawara Station. While the hotel is located some distance from Tokyo, transportation is easy—we took the Shinkansen (bullet train) from Odawara Station, which made the journey smooth and efficient.

Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit the Odawara or Hakone area.

We stayed for our entire 14 night visit while in Seoul. The hotel was easy to find from our airport bus stop and check-in was easy. There also seem to be a self check-in/out kiosks but they had plenty of reception staff ready. An ATM and WowPass machine were also in the lobby which was very convenient.

Subway and bus access was nearby which made travel throughout the areas easy. We were able to explore the area and found how close we were to great food as well as some touristy spots.

Our room was clean and well-stocked with a full washer and dryer and a Samsung Air Dresser which I loved. The bedroom closet was spacious but could have used additional hangers. We made do with a pack from the local Daiso. The kitchen space was great but we missed having a coffe maker. We did have an electric water kettle which we made do with by picking up some pour over coffee packets from grocery store. The other item I missed would be either a kitchen towel or paper towels. Again, not a huge inconvenience and made do with one of the hand towels.

We tried the breakfast buffet twice which we found was ok. We usually had other options in the area or found something from a cafe on the way to where we were going. One of the 'negative' experiences we had was partly our fault but felt like staff could have handled better with a little communication. We were mistaken on the time breakfast ended and came in and paid for the buffet. We should have double checked the time it closed as well as the

It was a mom and son trip to visit universities, see some family and reconnect with Seoul and Korea after experiencing loss. I had asked for a view of Namsam tower months earlier with no response and then asked again right before we arrived... I spent quite a bit on a twin suite so thought it could be considered, or at least communicated that it wasn't available - but nothing. I thought the hotel was amazing - good location, clean and we really liked our room but the communication was lacking so it hindered the experience. Also, I think as a Korean Canadian who is fluent in Korean, it's somewhat insulting to speak Korean to front desk staff and then be spoken to in English, as if my accent or level is not good enough - it's actually a bit insulting so that was another point that didn't make the experience very positive. I would consider coming back as the hotel itself is nice and well located, but I hope these items, however small they seem, can be improved.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for a family holiday. The main bedroom had a sliding door which was tinted but still let the light through from the living area. This was problematic as my toddler needed to sleep early in the room at night. The other room did not have a door. There is an oven/microwave and also a stove, however, if you want to do any cooking on the stove you have to rent equipment from the hotel. Location of the hotel is good, only a short walk from a number of train stations. There is also a convenience store just outside the reception and some restaurants nearby.

Despite that snafu, I’m very pleased with the hotel. It’s a pretty popular and busy. Highly recommend stay here if you’re visiting Seoul! Very clean, has an Emart on the 2nd floor and a GS25 right across. The subway line is also within a walking distance. Check in and check out was incredibly fast and easy. There are two convent stores near by, one in the building and a GS25 across the street. Perfect location, only a 5 min walk from the subway. Room was clean and service was perfect. I’d recommend this stay for anyone who wants to be near Myeongdong Street

Best hotel of my trip! The room was spacious and clean. There’s an oven/microwave, kettle, and fridge. The bed was pretty good and the shower and toilet were clean.

Luggage storage is paid, but ultimately it’s not that expensive if limited to less than 24 hours. Food delivery to the hotel is easy as there is a food delivery counter for the food to be delivered and for pickup.

There are two convenience stores in the vicinity and one is 24 hours.

Complements on a great stay. Arrived around 11.00pm, reception were friendly and great English speakers. Room was clean had all the amenities you could wish for. Was a great base to explore Seoul. Would be happy to stay again.

Staff was helpful (and I leaned on them a lot. The facility was and well thought out for the longer term traveler.The neighborhood was a little disorienting. The”front” of the hotel opens up to a maze of small pathways and temporary construction walkways. One is reasonably close to what you want to do, but none of it is particularly near. Google map the property and You’ll get a sense of what I mean (and do this - you need to have a mental image of there area, especially, if you are going to stay for awhile).
