The room was lovely, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. The location is also excellent, situated right in a prime spot. I would definitely recommend it.

My family (2 adults + 2 kids) had a lovely stay here last December. We arrived early at 11am and thought of dropping our luggages to walk around and come back again for check in at 3pm. Surprisingly was allowed early check-in! :) Water/bottles are also replenished daily even though we still have unopened leftovers from previous day. Thank you to the housekeeping team!! :)

The front desk was not as friendly. The dryer in the laundry area does not work too well . It charges 4000 KRW for the dryer alone and we had to dry it twice on every load. Not worth it. We stayed in another hotel prior to checking into G2 because we had a short couple of days to Busan . Apparently that hotel’s customer service and laundry was awesome. It charged the same amount but we only had to use the dryer machine once fur every load .

This is a very nice hotel, situated between two subway stops and two airport bus locations. The only downside was that the room was really dusty, and the air conditioner mixed with the large amounts of dust made us both sick.
Otherwise, it was a really nice stay! The rooms were clean and the room itself was free of any dirt or grime. It was just the dust in the air.

We were staying on the 3rd floor, and for some reason there is this sewer smell from the bathroom that makes the whole room smell really bad, like fart or bowel smell. Also, we asked the front and also the cleaning lady to not come in for cleaning the room but they didn’t listen and just did it anyway for two days in a roll. Front staff can be more welcoming like greet with hi, especially the younger man staff at the front.

A great hotel in a good location in Seoul if you are looking for a basic room with no extra amenities. The room is very
clean and the breakfast included offered a wide selection of cold and hot food.

I was given a complimentary upgrade and late checkout! Thank you G2 for your generosity. Upon check in, my colleague discovered a stain on the comforter and brought it to the front desk attention and it was immediately changed! I like that the room smelled really “refreshed” and cleaned whenever I returned. Even though I asked that the bedsheets not to be changed, it always looked cleaned and neat after housekeeping! I feel really comfortable staying in this hotel despite I dislike bathtubs but it’s really cleaned and the bed is comfortable ! Thank you!

If you are going to book a room, make sure to book the Quadruple room. It's 2 king beds, but what I noticed is that it's more spacious that the regular rooms. We had 4 adults with 7 luggage. We also had a room on the 9th floor (911) which was a corner room with a view of the Namsan Tower.
Just be careful as they have mosquitos at this hotel and in the elevators.
Over all, this was a nice stay. Washer and Dryer in the basement, small gym, a rooftop for smokers and you can also see the tower from the roof as well.

Hotel is basic, but comfortable. Airco is right on top of the bed, so it can get quite chilly. Also not sufficient plugs around the bed. Shower pressure wasn’t great either, however it might be a Korean issue.

During my stay at Myeongdong, we booked the suite at G2 Hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all friendly. The provided room service to clean your room everyday and re-fill the fridge with water. The location of the hotel was very convenient, as you could walk to the Myeongdong shopping area within 10 minutes, while being local to a bunch of restaurants. I definitely recommend G2 Hotel if you're staying in Myeongdong. .

Stayed 5 nights at the Junior Studio at G2 and it was a pleasant stay. Location was convenient in the middle of 2 train stations (Euljiro 3 & Myeongdong). Airport bus was a max 7mins walk from the hotel & its easy to find direction.

Junior Studio was huge for the 2 of us, so highly recommend it for families with kids! Fridge was abit small but microwave, hairdryer all was given. But take note, toothbrush & toothpaste are not provided. Either you bring your own or buy from the nearest convenient store.

There is easily 4 convenient stores along the stretch & plenty of food options even at night by walking towards Euljiro 3

The hotel’s atmosphere is pretty nice however we had a VERY BAD experience staying at this hotel. First of all the WiFi is VERY SLOW and will ALWAYS DISCONNECT, Our devices had a hard time connecting to the internet. Second is the air conditioning, the AC is limited to only 21-23 degree celsius which can be quite WARM and it made us SWEAT when we would sleep. Lastly were the mosquitoes inside the hotel and there were a LOT.

This is a very good hotel for the price. It is clean and provides great room service. We have a toddler who made the sheets dirty and the sheets were changed every day with clean ones. The location is in walking distance to many tourist attractions. Highly recommended.

We stayed at G2 for the first and last leg of our South Korea trip, total of 9 nights. The staff were helpful even before we got there giving us directions and being responsive about laundry. The first room we got was a bit dusty but otherwise wonderful. Location is great! Close to subway stations/busses and the roads behind were food. 10 min walk to Myeongdong. Very clean and upgraded hotel, and the staff were so friendly ensuring we had everything we needed - topping up our water and making our room each day. Friendly/helpful staff. They held our luggage when we needed and even called a cab for us on the last day to fit our luggage. Would stay here again!

The quiet side of myeongdong

Everything is within walking distance – from the famous department stores to the bustling streets. I didn’t even need to take a cab or Uber at all! 🚶‍♀️

The hotel staff? Super friendly, and the gym was a great bonus! 💪 The room was simple but comfortable, just what I needed.

It’s a decent 3 star hotel with comfy beds and great location being in Myeongdong. Also, they have a rooftop with good views. However, I’ve noticed the hotel prices in this area have more than doubled or even tripled since my last visit a few years ago. And to be honest the prices you pay definitely do not justify what you’re getting. Specially when compared to other major cities in other parts of the developed world. But somehow they are fully booked so it must be working for them.

The location of this hotel is perfect for travelers that want to be near Myeongdong (very touristy) but immerse themselves in a more local Korean vibe. There are plenty of restaurants which are open most nights of the week and within walking distance. Euljiro3 station is a 3-5 minute walk and Myeongdong station is about a 8-10 minute walk.

The hotel is clean and refurbished. The facilities include access to washing machines and dryers, gym, a restaurant and roof top garden area with views of Seoul tower.

The staff are helpful and pleasant. Overall it was a wonderful eight night stay and I would highly recommend G2 hotel. There is also a fantastic coffee shop called Rewire around the corner that makes coffee's to Australian standards.
