Clean, close to subway station, grocery store nearby, area around isn't the best but seems safe, noisy during day time from around 7am because of the construction across the street. Overall, good. I would stay at WECOSTAY Gangnam again.

New building, excellent location, and superb room equipped with kitchenettes. Linnens were in good quality. Emart Everyday is 3 minutes away. However there was no staff on site for any help. Everything had to be done by phone calls. Be aware of $50 fee that can be charged for cleaning. I happened to find it out in fine prints. These rules should be clearly communicated by posting them in the room.

We stayed at the WeCoStay Gangnam for 7 days this past week.

Overall we really enjoyed it and I would stay again on my next trip.
We liked the Seocho area, it felt less touristy than other areas of town and was an easy walk to the subway. Many food options within a 5 min walk.

We loved the heated floors and toilet. We'd return after a cold January day and feel the warm right away.
It took us a while to figure out all the lights and the oven area was the microwave - it's a very hi tech room.
We liked the large tv where we could watch Youtube and other apps.
Shower was nice, though that area was a bit small. It could benefit from some hooks in the bathroom, as there was no place to put your clothes.

Beds were comfortable and we loved the large walk in closet. It could use some more hangers though.
We had exactly 2 sets of dishes in the kitchen - which is fine, but some normal drinking glasses would have been a nice addition.

We had no issues going to the supply closet and getting new towels or TP as we need it.
The construction going on next door wasn't really an issue inside, the only other noises were heard from were from floor. We'd hear hammering early in the morning or guests in other rooms who were loud but overall, pretty quiet.

We stayed here because we were coming from Geoje and it was about a 10 minute walk from Nambu Bus Terminal and close to two metro lines so it was easy to get around to other places in Seoul. It was a comfortable and very nice room with easy check-in and check-out. Quick and easy communication as well. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice modern property. Very comfortable. Clean property. Had washer but no dryer. Would be better if there was a dryer & iron in the room. Near a subway station but a bit of a ride on the subway to sightseeing areas, at least 30 minutes. As long as you have the time and subway pass that gives you unlimited rides, it’s a good trade off to stay in this nicer place for this price point as compared to Hong Dae but it’s definitely less convenient because it’s not as central and if you don’t have time, it’s best to stay in a more central area. Office hours is 10-6 or 7pm which is a small issue for us to speak to someone because we’re usually out before 10am and not back until after 10pm. Staff was helpful & friendly the couple of times I had interaction with them like when we checked-in and the next day. We enjoyed this property and would recommend it if you are okay with traveling at least 30 minutes on the subway to sightseeing areas. The place is exactly how it looks from website photos.

I booked this hotel twice during my trip to Seoul. Both times, I had a bit of a fight with the Wecostay Gangnam representative because I was booked a smaller room than the one I had booked. The representative wanted to contact the hotels.com website, but I couldn't because I was in Korea. I felt bad. Not once, but twice in a row. I hope that the partners communicate clearly so that consumers are not harmed.

Ho soggiornato qui per 16 giorni ed è stata una base perfetta per il mio viaggio, molto comodo il bus diretto per l’aeroporto a soli 6 min a piedi (per arrivare a Incheon impiega circa un’ora e mezza). Comodissima la lavatrice nell’appartamento e la fornitura di detersivi (per piatti e per lavatrice) e shampoo/bagnoschiuma che può essere rifornita in modalità self service. Le pulizie non sono incluse nella tariffa ma è possibile richiederle e pagarle in loco. Non è inclusa la colazione ma più opzioni nei dintorni e vari minimarket a pochi metri

I think the way Wecostay works should be communicated well before the check-in day. i.e.; No personnel at front desk. Remember that foreigners might want to see and talk to humans and not through emails. So it was quite weird when I checked-in. The signs on the wall and hanging posters and the information in the emails are contradictory until one understands that there are many hotel in the building. Besides all that, very cool place!

I loved this property and would definitely recommend. The location is very close to all the bus (4 min walking) and metro lines (7 min walking). As soon as you leave the building there are cafes, grocery stores, and dining options all around. It's mostly a businessy neighborhood so it gets quieter over the weekends.
The rooms are the perfect size and has all the amenities you would need for a short or a long term stay. I ended up staying there for a much longer period and it all worked well.
The staff is very nice and friendly, and can communicate i English.

Very organized. You're emailed all the information including the room code the morning before you check in. There is also a code for storage so you can store your luggage before or after check-in. Rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable. There was a washing machine with detergent included. I was very impressed during my stay.

Once you're actually inside your room it's a great experience. The table is tiny so you will have to sit on the floor while using a laptop but it's otherwise very comfortable. The air conditioner is extremely effective, the place is perpetually quiet, the bed is good, the shower is good, it's generally a good experience. I have two things I didn't like, first is that despite the light load on the elevators, you'll often wait upwards of a minute for one to arrive at your floor due to how bad their software is -- and with how much walking I did every day it was never a good idea for me to take the stairs up to the 15th floor. The other is that the immediate surroundings of the building is the absolute worst area I found in all of 서울. There is no sidewalk so youre constantly leaning against buildings to let cars through, there's trash bags everywhere so it smells horrible, and worst of all you have to get significantly lucky to not have to walk by any smokers on your way in or out. Once you do make it through though, you're either in your room or you're in the lovely 서초 area depending on whether your starting or ending your day. Overall a good experience, especially for the price.
