My husband and I stayed at SLA for about two weeks and I couldn’t have been more happy with choosing this location for my first trip to South Korea. The area was beautiful and extremely convenient. There were bus stops steps away from the apartment and one of them even stops right in front of the building. The hosts were incredibly sweet people who were so kind and helpful. The room was perfect, comfortable and firm bed great for my bad back. Bathroom was clean which is a big deal for me and anything we needed was easy to ask for and provided either immediately or shortly after. There was nothing I would have changed about this stay. Very near many places to eat and lots to do with some very large palaces with hanbok rentals within walking distance. There was so much to see and do just in this area alone and transportation was very easy to get to go to larger areas like Hongdae and Seoul. I will absolutely be booking here again! I hope you will give this place a try, I find it will be hard to be disappointed here :)

The staff was friendly and accommodated our delay and late check in after 6 as well as stored our luggage in day of checkout. The apartment had a nice open loft layout with ice cold AC and plenty of room. We communicated easily on WhatsApp and they had a detailed handbook explaining everything. The even gave some great food recommendations.

Fantastic apartment.

It was a totally excellent service from the property. It started to message me guiding me where to take the airport bus to the door step very convenient. Mr Lee the manager was a very helpful and friendly guy. Had a good chat. The room was spacious, clean and comes with a heated floor. Excellent for winter.

The location was suitable. The public transportation was not as close as I thought it would be, but not a huge issue. The best thing about the property was the space. The unit was an open spaced and spacious. It was not most clean place and with a little bit of care, it can be in much better condition, specially the window area. The staff were excellent. The manager (forgot his name) was very cordial and responsive to our request. Actually he always did an extra step to keep us comfortable. He made our stay pleasant.

The location was good, there's a cvs nearby with alot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well as the palace (and another one a bit further). The metro station is abit far by walk, but there's tons of buses everywhere passing very often. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at SLA for a week in late April 2024. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay easy.

The room itself was spacious and clean...loved the shower and the fridge/teapot and washer/dryer in particular...1 little challenge was the shower draining into the center of the bathroom...we put some towels down to minimize the issue so not a big deal.

We highly recommend staying at SLA...great value for the price and space and again, the staff were so nice and helpful.

Office staff were amazing and VERY helpful. I enjoyed my stay at SLA. Even though there is a palace and a temple across the street, I felt the area definitely had a more \"neighborhood\" feel and less \"touristy\". The only possible dings would be (1) it is a walk-up, so if mobility is an issue, it is something to think about; and (2) the nearest subway station is about a 15-minute walk away... However, bus stops are very close and plentiful and it is pretty easy to hail a cab.

The management of this apartment is just excellent! The service and attention to details was immaculate. I arrived from Incheon via the airport bus which was very conveniently located right in front of the apartment. I was not feeling well upon arrival as I was having motion sickness but the staff looked after me, and made sure I was comfortable. They have been keeping in touch with us since the time we booked the accommodation and had been extremely helpful in providing information for our trip and checked in with us closer to date as well. Anything we need they have provided or attended to swiftly. I have nothing but praise for this place. Upon seeing our luggages ( we had 10 luggage’s although we have 4 of us including two young teens) they helped to gauge our needs and supported in getting a transport for us. SLA is highly recommended. Although they do have a stairway with no lifts, they have been very helpful to carry our luggage’s both on check in and check out. Extremely helpful team and all are able to speak perfect English! Simply love it! If I were to go Seoul again, I will not hesitate to book it again.

The property has a living room, separate bedroom floor, kitchen and bathroom. It felt like a bachelor pad and was so cool! Location is great, with a palace right next door and EASY ways to find home since you are right next to the SNUH (every taxi knows it). In addition, staff were friendly and helpful, very nice people! I recently stayed at the Seoul Loaf Apartment and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation and many restaurants and shops nearby.

What really stood out to me, though, was the excellent staff. Everyone I interacted with, from the Team to the hotel manager, was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. They were always available to answer any questions I had and provided great recommendations for things to do and see in the area.

Overall, I highly recommend the Seoul Loaf Apartment for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Seoul. The comfortable accommodations and exceptional service make it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The property managers were the stars of this stay. They were so helpful in every way they could be. They suggested touring and sight seeing options, assisted in booking transportation when necessary, educated us on the subway system, and were very communicative even when we were out traveling the country. The address cards they made were a godsend, we just had to show a taxi driver the card and we transcended any language barrier - genius. In-apartment laundry for long stays is a game changer too. I would definitely stay again. The only downside is no elevator - the stairs would definitely be a challenge for anyone with an injury/disability BUT they carried our insanely heavy luggage up and down the stairs so that was helpful. I loved every minute of my home away from home!

Very good option, super helpful staff, nice loft overall... do note this is NOT a hotel. Its literally across rhe street deom one of the 5 palaces, and an airport bus is just in front when you arrive and a street away when you leave to the airport. The floor is heated, which is nice during winter, only \"complaints\" are that a small current of air managed to get in through the window (the room was still warm overall, but at times you could feel a chilly breeze) and the water at the shower was warm, but not hot. I did not discuss this with the staff during my stay as they werent that relevant for me, so I am hoping they could have been solved if neccessary. Personally I recommend it, but wanted to give a heads up as I know people who would expect very hot water.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always there with a smile and a good morning :) Room and entryway / hallways always clean and tidy. Apartment was high standard with washing machine / hob / fridge / freeze / microwave and kettle. Bathroom was large with a good shower and toiletries were provided. Good location with bus route and subway in easy walking distance.
About 35 minutes from Seoul station but that is just a short subway ride away. Strongly recommend these apartments to anyone staying in Seoul

Your Own Loft in the City of Seoul

The staff has been very helpful. Easy and pleasant check in. She even declined my asssitance to carry my heavy luggage to my unit.

There is no lift in this neat apartment hotel.

Quiet and peaceful and the unit I had was tastefully decorated.

Only that the stairs of the loft unit was painted in BLACK and since the steps are not very wide, it can be a little dangerous to climb up and down the loft.

Perhaps a brighter colour for the steps would have been better.

Not perfect for vacation like sightseeing and shopping...since the location is a little out of the way and the Seoul Metro is quite a walk.

I take the route pass the SNUH to my station every morning to get to meetings. A good estimated 500m walk. Pretty good morning exercise.

The owner and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. By far the best service you can ask for.
The location is in the middle of Dondaemun Market and the Goong. 10 min walk to a main subway line. Also there are alot of yummy resturaunts and coffee shops within 2min and theres the Gwangjang Market within 10min. Next to the market is a small stream that's super romantic and beautiful at night.
The neighborhood is easy to access to other tourist attractions by subway or taxi. Taxi is pretty cheap in Korea.

Amazing Location

Spacious apartment centrally situated in JongNo. It is close to the main area and I felt safe at night as a solo traveler. Also, the maeul bus(they call it 'village bus' as it goes close to their village that regular buses don't go.) comes right in front of the property and the transportation is close and efficient. No need to have a vehicle unless you want to explore the city on your own.

We loved this apartment! We happened to find and stayed here when we got off at Hyehwa by accident. We were able to reach Gwangjang Market, Insa and Myungdong without any troubles and have some nice rest which felt like our second home for many reasons. Rooms were neat, staff were so helpful to find all the places to visit within hours. Thanks to all and we will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Seoul.

장점
1. 마을버스 12번이 건물 바로 앞에서 내려줌 (개인적으로 가장 좋다고 생각하는 점이에요)
2. 버스, 지하철이 근처라 교통이 아주 편리함
3. 직원들의 진정성있는 서비스. 친절하고 밝음.
4. 출입구를 카드키 없이는 열 수 없어 안전하다고 느낌 (자동으로 잠기는 시스템)
5. 인테리어가 이국적이고 특이함
6. 요리 시설이 잘 갖춰져있음

단점
1. 계단이 꽤 가파른 편이고 엘리베이터가 없음.
2. 갔던 날이 미세먼지가 심한 날이었는데 지하철역까지 도보로 먼 편. 건물 앞에서 12번 마을버스 타고 가서 큰 문제는 아니었지만...

위의 문제 말고는 항상 즐거운 방문이네요. 늘 고맙습니다.

We had a fantastic time at SLA. Loft was so beautiful. I think I filled up my phone with photos. My friends and I stayed 2 nights and were more than happy with staff and apartment. Could not have expected a more pleasant stay. I live in Seoul, but there are not too many places like this, our apartment was really special it felt like being in a new city. If I have anyone visiting I would highly recommend a stay here. Apartment had a big kitchen with dining table we used well.

Pleasant stay at SLA Seoul Loft Apartments

SLA Seoul Loft Apartments are a very option for anyone wanting to stay in the northern part of Seoul and have a more home-style of accommodation than the usual hotel can provide. The apartments are in a generally good location, although getting to the nearest restaurant districts is a bit of a walk as are the nearest subway stations. The apartment I stayed in was fairly spacious and clean, with the bed upstairs in a loft. The apartment was surprisingly quiet, given it's adjacency to a very busy street. The staff is friendly and responsive, if not overly enthusiastic. One word of caution is that you have to negotiate floor - 1/2 of stairs and the steps to the sleeping loft are quite steep. Not a problem in general, but something a person with limited mobility should be aware of.

Feel at home

I would like to start off by acknowledging the people who made our stay more wonderful; Dennys, the manager, I’m not sure if I got his name spelled right, we would like to thank him for making us feel comfortable, we’ve tried the restaurantsnhe has suggested and they were perfect.
Tony, works at the front desk, he’s korean but grew up in our country, he has gone the extra mile by educating us with their culture.
About the apartment, I’d rather stay in the apartment than a 5-star hotel, we stayed in a hotel prior to this since, we were on an 8-day holiday but I would highly recommend this apartment instpead. It’s the same feeling you can have when you miss home. It was perfect for us.

Conveniently located with convenience store just across the street. Staff were very helpfull in suggesting dinner and delivery options for us.

Our room was large (we were actually given one with two double beds, there was only us two staying as a couple). The room contained everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

Perhaps my only complaint is very minor which is there were no phone in the room. Would still be happy to stay again.

Kind Service and spacious apartment

Traveling in Seoul is not alwasy easy. Most taxi drivers don't speak English and my Korean is not great. The care and help from hotel staff is essential in making your stay a smooth one or having a nightmare trying to get somewhere to have dinner with your family. SLA staff were amazing. Always available when we had questions and went beyond any expectations for helping with our transportation and also helping with reservations and with arranging a return of missing Items my daughter left in a taxi. We travel a lot as a family and this hotel or apartment was the best I've had the pleasure of working with. You will not regret a stay at SLA, as the staff are super. Rooms are also big and have more than you need to be comfortable. one comment. Black out curtains would be a nice additions, both honestly we had a great stay.

Wonderful 2 night stay, felt like home. Was a little worried as it was not a traditional style hotel. But was super impressed with the apartment we got. It exceeded my expectations. I felt like I was in a different world. Apartment was very cool and interior was really well done and comfortable. I would recommend over any hotel I've stayed before in Seoul. If I go back I know where to book now. I didn't really speak with staff too much, but the area was easy to get around. Never had trouble getting a taxi and staff were helpful in storing and taking care of our luggage. Couldn't have picked a better place and would be happy to recommend if you are staying in Seoul for more than a few days.

Great Apartment for Family

Fantastic apartment for a family. We had a comfortable stay and even though it was pretty cold weather in Seoul, heated floor system was super cozy after being outside shopping. My kids loved it. Convenience store just across the street and all things pretty accessible. Nice neighborhood with lots of stuff near, in our opinion the location is quite good. Staff were very attentive, and helpful when we had any questions.

We didn't try the restaurant for dinner, but we did have coffee, wish we had more time to enjoy it. Would recommend this apartment over a hotel if you are traveling with family. Having a kitchen was pretty invaluable when you are traveling with young kids.

Thanks again for lettings us borrow the DVD player it was super helpful and much appreciated!

Over the past 10 years my wife and I have stayed at the Seoul loft apartments. Unlike the high rise hotels in Seoul. the SLA feels like home . The Staff is very friendly and is quick to accommodate us with whether it is ironing board or drying rack or letting us use their computer. I wish I knew more Korean language to thank them. If you are traveling the Seoul loft Apartments are the ideal place to get to the airport transit buses to Incheon which cost $10.000 and you don't need a taxi. There are decent restraint's and dongdemun. is not that far. and several Hospitals only 15 minutes from SLA.

Great location to the SNU Hospital

The location can not be any better if you are going to the Seoul National University Hospital. Access to the rest of the city can be done by bus, which would make you walk 3, 4 minutes for the bus stop. The staff were really helpful and attentive - you'll interact with them everyday and they will get things done and ready should you have any requests.

The hotel did have a feel of apartments. Something that you would like if you're staying for a long term. The room was smaller than expected, but it was nicely laid out so it was still comfortable enough.

The room only had a small window and it was facing an ugly looking parking lot. The bathroom had a sliding door and had a gap through which you can see the inside a bit.. Struggled a little with clogging sink of the shower, which was fixed (not perfectly tho) on the same day of request. The room stayed humid all the time due to the shower room which wouldn't close, and therefore it smelled funny and humid the entire time.

I can imagine myself staying here again for a few reasons but I'm afraid I still wouldn't be 100% happy during my stay.

I'd pick a full apartment any day.

Stayed in one of the SLA lofts. Took a chance but was well worth it. Staff were extremely helpful and more attentive than most 4 star hotels. I felt like I won the jackpot with this room though. So nice I was in C202 and it's such a bachelor pad. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The neighborhood is very good. Subway was about 10 min for me, this was hyehwa station. I used the bus to get to around while I was there.

Dollar for dollar this apartment is a much better deal than any hotel i've stayed at. There are tons of business hotels to choose from, but if I'm staying for more than a few nights in the future I will stay in a full apartment.

Apartment Hotel, quiet area but easily accessible

The staff here is so sweet. My wife and I loved interacting with them, everyday. And the apartments are beautiful lofts. Way better than staying at any hotel. It was only a few minutes walk to hyehwa station, too! So my wife and I were able to get around Seoul, like champs. We will stay here again and recommend everyone look at staying here.

This place is awesome! The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was exactly what we wanted and needed for a week vacation in Seoul. SLA is about 10 minutes from a shopping and eating area, so we got take-out on some nights and every morning had breakfast in our room (full grocery store is about 10 minutes walking distance). It's close to many cultural sites and cool neighborhoods. When we return to Seoul, we'll return to SLA.

I was unlucky enough to make a group of reservations at SLA, so this review is in parts:

PART 1 - A Really Bad Everything

You're getting screwed if you're looking for a hotel-type experience because:

they have a small, poorly trained staff that pretty much only speaks Korean.

As a result, this staff will be unable to resolve issues for you in a timely manner, like 24 hours. So when you discover the floor under the dining table has never been cleaned (and this is obvious the second you sit down at the table because your feet stick to the floor), there's a dead bug in the tableware, the wifi in your room is out... it's going to stay that way.

Instead, the staff is kept busy doing things like ripping the labels off of water bottles and putting SLA stickies on them instead, so just clean the things yourself.

Surprisingly though, you're also getting screwed if you want a loft experience because:

when you book a loft, you look forward to having your own quiet, calm, personal space.

Too bad you'll hear everything going on around you from the surrounding rooms and lobby.

You'll have to rely on the front desk to ring you into the building each time because they think their front door keys are expensive and people will steal them and that makes having too many available pretty \"dangerous\".

Too bad your ceiling is leaking onto the bed or the bathroom sink leaking all over the floor.

If it really was your loft, you'd call a plumber.

Simply Amazing!

For a first time visitor to Korea, SLA was my home away from home. The staff made it impossible for me to miss my home. How to put it? They were just AMAZING!

Front desk personnel strived to make my stay a magnificent and memorable one. They always had a smile and attended all my requests extremely fast. I have traveled around the world and this hotel/apartment has been by far the best!

Arrival, the night staff gentleman was eager to help, guide and do what ever it took to make me feel comfortable. On one occasion, I returned around 3am and there was he with a smile and asking if I needed anything. Eager to serve a client. Day shift personnel was the same. Always willing to go beyond what was expected with a professional and smiling attitude. Something hard to find these days.

If you go, take a minute to meet Mr. Dennis, Manager, even though he was busy, each time I asked for him, if he was there, he would stop what he was doing attend my questions. Now that is something I haven't seen in a really long time.

Last, I love Latin food, and next door to the hotel there is a Cuban fusion restaurant. The food was great. The chef even though she didn't speak well English, she did her best to make me feel extremely comfortable and always with a warm charming smile.

In synthesis, SLA is a hidden treasure place. Location, Service and the Staff are just AMAZING!

Spacious!

The neighborhood was really fantastic. Close walk to metro. The room furnishings were worn, I will admit - the bed was hard and the sofa had no spring left in it's cushion. However, I still give this hotel a very high rating because of the overall experience and spaciousness of the room. After having stayed at another hotel in Seoul where we kept tripping over our luggage, in hindsight, I would've booked at this hotel again rather than moving to another room. Traveling with a 4 year old, space for her to run around and move through the hotel is very important to us. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating with our requests. The room was super clean. Like I said, the only bad mark is the furniture being worn. Other than that FANTASTIC hotel.

DO NOT EVER VISIT THIS PLACE

Do not ever go here with your family and friends.
The only thing tolerable about this room was its modern design.
The air-conditioner was broken but the staff was not willing to switch the room, instead she gave us a fan. How ridiculous is this? Moreover, after 11pm, me and my friends were talking and people in adjacent room filed complaints to the front desk multiple times. When we googled this room, people say that it is for party, but it was not. And the front desk staffs were mad at us claiming that we made noises after midnight. Never ever visit this place again. I had a terrible weekend away because of this place.

Great stay...great location

Me, my parents and my best friend stayed here for 5 nights. This hotel was in a great location and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and woukd stay here again. My only warning is that there is not an elevator and the stairs could be difficult for those that aren't that mobile.

Ok, but some issues.......

The Hotel was not bad but it was nothing to write home about. It had a NY chic style to the room. The room was organized well but the cleanliness was not all that great. On some of the pillows there were hairs all over. I am not a total clean freak and I am usually not freaked out by small issues but this kind of got to me. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The rooms did not have a lot of sound proofing either, you could hear the next rooms kids pretty clear. If you can deal with these issues I it's not that bad of a stay but if your looking to rest on your vacation keep looking.

Great & Spacious Loft

My production team and I from Los Angeles stayed at SLA hotel for 4 nights. The moment we arrived to the location, the staff was really friendly and accommodating; as they even tried to help us with heavy video equipment to our room. The Loft was great, it was clean, and really looked modern. They were very immediate about fixing any issues. When we arrived around 9pm to the loft, our WI-FI in our room was not working. So they immediately came and resolve the problem, and had the WI-FI back up in 30 minutes. The beds were comfortable, as I was able to get good nights rests after long days of shooting. Also it was really nice to have a washer as we were able to wash our clothes. I would definitely come back and stay here anytime I'm back in Seoul for work or vacation.

The staff is helpful and cheerful. They always greet you with a big smile no matter what time you see them! They also helped us order fried chicken a few times :;-) They speak very good English and the staff at night speaks Chinese.

It's very close to Dongdaemun and Myeongdong, only around 4500 won on taxi. But as it is very close, sometimes the not-so-good drivers may not want to take you. But just hop on and ignore them will do ;-)

Some other customers complained the noise at night. I didn't hear anything though! It was so quiet at night and we had very nice sleep.

The only thing is that there is no cleaning service during weekends. That is a problem as the rubbish bins were all full and no change of towels。。。 Luckily I brought my own towel。。。 But the staff gave us shampoo and shower jel when I requested. I understand that is stated in their website. But it will be great if this can be improved.

All in all, we had a pleasant stay in SLA.

chic place w helpful staffs

comfortable place to stay, it's basically a little home away from home. 15min+ walk from jongno-5 station, many small eateries in the alleys along the way. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful speaking good english, helped us to carry luggage up to 3rd floor and also provided v detailed directions to where we wanted to go. No piping or heating issues. because it's not a full fledged hotel, do keep ur room clean and tidy yourself, the housekeeper will empty your rubbish and replenish some items but dont expect them to fully clean the room! :)

the place was great! the loft was both funky in design, as well as really comfortable. the heated floors were nice in the chilly autumn time. Location is pretty good - close to temples and palaces, a ten minute walk from the canal, and near the university. the staff was fabulous - they provided restaurant recommendations, and helped make our stay wonderful. My wife and my twin 7 year old boys were charmed

Nice modern furnishings and general design, but we understood there would be bedrooms, instead was studio. Also bathroom poorly designed, and walk-in closet with single hanger but no draw or shelf space.

Perfect for a long weekend!

This is not a full serviced hotel (which is not a downgrade at all, as the staff is really warm and helpful!), it is truly the chance to have and enjoy a loft in one of the nicest cities in Asia!
The location is unbeatable and transportation really convenient! (Even from Incheon airport, the bus 6011 will drop you at the entrance of the SLA!)

We leave in Shanghai and came to Seoul for work and weekend site seeing and we are looking forward to come again and know another of the loft concepts!

Nice hotel close to the sites of Insa-Dong.

Great little hotel near the market for shopping and near the palace for site seeing. Hotel was clean but hot water is an issue. They have a good staff. Washing machine was great help. Not the best rooftop but good enough. Hotel is close to the bus to airport and makes it easy.

Perfect service I never seen

This hotel has a great service. They confirm my booking by email and phone. It is quite warm action. Besides, I asked some routes for the place that I want to go. They replied me with a few of suggestion. The staff are nice and kind. The rooms and the environment are quite beautiful. My friends and I like this hotel because there are different style in different rooms. It is special of this hotel. It gives us a feeling that like a home. But I think they should not have additional charge for extra blanket. My friends and I feel cold and we can only share one blanket for one bed. I think extra blanket can provide for us.

Good for exploring historical sights

SLA is located in a quiet area near the university hospital. It can be a little difficult to find as it is tucked away behind a simple black front and it is some distance from the subway stop (10-15 min walk). It is a good place to stay if you plan to explore the palaces and other areas in the north.

The staff speak English and are very helpful. The room was very clean though the bed was a bit hard and the pillos somewhat flat. This is a good place to stay if you need access to a kitchen (very handy) for longer trips.

This is probably a good option for families or couples, but I would not recommend it for business travellers because it is a bit far from the financial district.

Beautiful apartment, great desk staff

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SLA. We booked into the apartment with direct access to the rooftop patio. The location is very accessible (about a 7-10 minute walk to Hyehwa station), in a safe neighborhood, with close proximity to lots of cute cafes in the nearby university district. The best thing though about SLA is its friendly desk staff. My family and I were made to feel at home right away. Would definitely re-book.

Nice concept, so-so execution

The aparthotel was great for friends travelling together and was located in a central & quiet location. The rooms are styled differently depending on the room type. The hotel needs to give more clarity on the room style, as the pictures depicted might not be what you get. To be fair this problem does not pertain only to this hotel, aparthotels in general have this issue. Needless to say, I didn’t get what I thought I booked. It served our needs though, with separate beds and a separate bedroom. The apartment was newish in design, fully furnished with many TV channels. 3 major issues were: 1. The electric sockets weren't international. Wth a multi-country plug, the vertical slant of the 2-pin socket did not allow the plug to sit stably. We had to buy a local extension plug from 7-11 that sits on the floor so that our plugs could stay plugged in. 2. The toilet was dirty. There were water marks, the toiletries looked dirty, the towels were worn out(I read an earlier review and brought mine) and I saw a woodworm crawl across the shower stall. The room itself was ok. The floor was dusty, so it was good that the hotel provided rubber slippers. 3. The AC was smelly when we turned it on. Good thing we brought along an aroma diffuser that quickly solved this problem. I might recommend my friends to stay at this place in future, given its nice location and nicely designed rooms (for families and friends). But I would be sure to ask them to bring along their own toiletries and towels!

Their outstanding language skills match their sincere customer service. The room was very clean and comfortable. I really like the loft layout. The location, near daehagno and dongdaemun, was also not just convenient, but also closer to a sense of the real Seoul...

Loved the loft!

I thought it was a great 2 level loft apartment. Reminded me of the one I used to live in. The beds are very firm (depending on your taste, you may not like that). The rooftop deck was great and spacious. The staff were very helpful. It's a good location...Easy to get to lots of places by subway or cheap taxi ($7 / 7,000 Won to get to Itaewon). Overall, a great experience. I would definitely stay there again!

need better room service

I would say overall hotel was ok its near seoul national university hospital. One of the biggest problem was maids don't clean the room. In the morning before I leave I would put up please clean sign but they would just put fresh towels in the bathroom nothing else. Need better cleaning service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stayed there for 5 days for once they didn't clean the bathroom.

Don't stay here if you want a closeby subway

The pictures of this property is overrated, things inside the room are a lot crappier than expected. The walls are cracked and there were some molds I can see near the edges of my room (316). I wasn't sure if the bed sheets were clean because there was a smell to it. The nearest subway station is at least a 10-15 mins walk, and there isn't much going on nearby. The Loft apartment idea is hip and the space is definitely bigger than most of the hotels in Seoul. However, if you are a first time tourist in Seoul and want convenience access to subway and popular areas, you shouldn't stay here.

hotel was perfect for our family (me, husband, &1year old son). it was nice to have a kitchen &washer in room. we walked all over the city from the central location of the hotel. my only complaint is that the bed sheets & blankets need an upgrade. as do the towels. if the bedding & towels were better quality I would rate this hotel much higher.

Thanks to the staff!

We had a great trip and I have to say SLA played an important part. They worked to check us in early when we arrived early, spoke English and helped much with visit suggestions, and even biked our \"left-behind\" cell phone to us after we left and were blocks away waiting for the bus. We liked our room and the in-room laundry allowed us to have clean clothes for the last few days in Korea. Overall great time in Seoul, thanks to the staff and SLA.
