The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring and walking around the Myeongdong area. Very convenient to shopping, night markets, the Lotte Department Store and the subway station was very close by.

The room was a little small, even for just 2 people. There was no place to open up 2 suitcases without stepping over them. The shower in the bathroom only had a partial door, so water spilled into the bathroom floor.

The bidet was very nice.

We stayed here for our stop in Seoul. This hotel is conveniently located near two metro stations, a bus lines, great shopping and a plethora of dining options. Our room was quiet and clean with a spacious bathroom. The staff was also very helpful with all of our questions and arrangements. I booked the Presidential Suite. I needed a much bigger space. The rate was great for the size of the room. Super nice and clean. It even had a balcony/rooftop area. Great location. Everything is right down below. Would def stay here again, however, I would suggest to book the bigger rooms as my friends stay in the smaller room and they did not like it.

Such a gem. This hotel is conveniently located steps from the subways and shopping centers. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Mr. Kim the general manager was so personable and would check in with us daily during breakfast. He was always happy to converse, provide suggestions/recommendations on sites to see, and seemed to genuinely care that we were happy with our accommodations.

We opted to purchase breakfast package, and it did not disappoint. There were several options spanning from breakfast to lunch options; coffee and juice bar, egg station, yogurt, cereal, pastries - to light meats and cheeses, dim sum, pho station, congee, and various stir fried/baked options, and small salad bar. The lattes at the coffee bar was one of my favorite morning treats. Everything seemed freshly prepared, checked on throughout the morning, and neatly maintained.

The room was clean, and quite spacious compared to online photos. We booked one of the smaller rooms and the pictures did not show the hallway, closet, or bathroom - which was honestly quite sizable.

The Crown Park Hotel is an excellent venue for staying in Seoul. We selected one of the suites - it was quite nice. The room was large and the amenities were good. The hotel was in an excellent area of town, and it was walkable to many areas for shopping, visiting and eating. The nightlife around the hotel was also quite bustling. The restaurant in the hotel was fine - it could use some further development, as there was no wine available during meal time, which was a bit unusual. Overall, however, we would go back to this hotel if we were in the area.

We were checked in at the Small desk on the 1st floor but the real lobby was on the 17th floor which we didn’t discover until the day after.

We rented 2 Rooms, they were both underwhelming and Dated with a strange musty smell. There’s only 1 closet and no drawers to store your clothes. One Room was incredibly dusty, dust bunnies everywhere, AC wasn’t properly working so it was considerably warmer than the rest of the hotel.

One of the lights was burnt out which we reported immediately, they said it was working after checking (the wrong light) so we just had a fairly dark room our entire stay. Toilet seat warmer wasn’t working but after the light fixture experience we didn’t bother mentioning it.

The view outside the room was awful - a bunch of metal pipes ie the outdoor AC unit system.

Housekeeping lady was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Myeongdong shopping and Lotte department so if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep and don’t care about a pleasant hotel experience, then it should be fine.

Roaches!!!

Decided to stay at this hotel given the proximity to Myeongdong street. Checked in and found room was much smaller than others we stayed at before. We found mulitple live roaches in a span of a couple of days and told front desk about it. They reached behind and gave me a can of roach spray suggesting it is a common problem. They also said someone would stop by for pest control which ended up being a worker who arrived with toilet paper and roach spray. What?!! Given the nature of roaches, we believed there were much more than what we saw and asked the front desk for a discount because we paid for a habitable room and not one with pests that impact human health. They declined to make it right, unfortunately. Would definitely NOT recommend if you care about sleeping with roaches.

The rooms are kinda small, which is typical of hotels at this price point. The staff are kind, helpful and outstanding. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom door doesn't close properly and the bathroom floor gets wet after we take a shower. And this applies all the 3 rooms that I booked.

The receptionist on the 17th floor was very patient, kind and went out of her way to ensure all of my needs were met including accommodations, breakfast, and the limousine bus to the airport. The General Manager, Kevin Kim, who was overseeing the breakfast was remarkable and I was treated by him as if I was family. The breakfast buffet was a fantastic fusion of fresh Korean and western style offerings. My only disappointment was the sparse gym. The hotel is also close to several subway and bus stops and conveniently located near the Lotte department store and all of the amazing food vendors. Thanks again Mr. Kim for a great stay.

The Crown hotel is really close to a few markets that are easily walkable. The public transit was close by and pretty easy to use.

The location is very good. Just one street across the bustling Myeongdong but yet is away from the hustle bustle. Close to not 1 but 3 train stations. 7-11 and GS25 is just downstairs. The only downside is lobby is situated on the 17th floor and the rooms are on the smaller side but it is understandable. Overall, for the price? I would rate 9/10.

We had a really great stay! Love the convenient location and just $6-7 uber ride to tourist attractions . Myeingdong street market is 3 minute walk from underground pass! Staff are all nice!!!

Convenient location (close to underground and shopping area). Rooms are small but clean; not enough lights; broken electrical sockets; no USB sockets. Rooms are not sound proof, and rooms near the main road are freaking noisy!

Rooms not ready at check-in time. Long face receptionists.
