Although this hotel is near to Seoul main station, negotiating a route to it is not obvious if you’ve never been before as there is a major duel
carriage way between the two. There is a subway via the metro station but this is frequented by many homeless and could be somewhat intimidating for some people.

We had the best time! The location was perfect for being close to Seoul Station which was a very short walk. So many things to do close by as well as ease of using public transportation. They cleaned our room daily and were always accommodating. We have stayed here one other time and will definitely come back. We stayed here for two weeks.

Hotel Manu is conveniently located within a short walking distance from Seoul Station. The walk was a bit confusing during the night time when we arrived even though the hotel sent us directions. It was much easier to get back to the station the next morning. There is a 7 eleven right across the street and a starbucks nearby as well as one of the magnificent gates in Seoul all within a short walking distance from the hotel. We also spent some time in the outdoor market and ate at Vegan Kitchen, the best vegan restaurant serving Korean food we found so far! Great location. A bit small but supper convenient and clean. Staff is helpful and professional. Would definitely stay here again.

Exactly what was expected - very solid property and room. Provided all the essential amenities; nothing more, nothing less. Straightforward, easy check-in and check-out process. Very accessible to Namdaemun Market and within walking distance of Myeongdong.

The only downside to this property is that the lighting in the rooms is on the darker side, especially the bathroom. Nonetheless, it was kept nice and tidy.

location is very convenience. Room is clean, both beds are comfortable. The only little problem is the heat is on, and no way to turn AC on. However, the staff resolved it by turn off the heat so we had fan to ventilate the room without any heat. Great hotel, will certainly come again.

We stayed at this hotel on the 6th Oct to the 13th Oct in Seoul and then again on the 18th Oct to the 22nd Oct. The room wasn’t very spacious and the bathroom wasn’t very big and did not have enough space to put or hang your clothes when you shower. However, the location was very good. It was close to Seoul Station and the Metro, so it was very convenient for traveling. It was also very close to Namdaemun Market and walkable to Myeongdong.
For location wise, I would probably stay there again.

We booked a triple room and it was very spacious. The location is conveniently close to Seoul Station and within walking distance to Namdaemun Market and Myeondong. The room had some wear and tear but that just comes with age of the building. Room cleaning was available every day.

The hotel was nice and had access to a spa and restaurant/bar in the same building. However, it would've been nice to have a microwave in the rooms. Toothpaste and tooth brush also isn't complimentary. Location is decently located in downtown of Seoul. Takes about 20-25 min train/Uber to hongdae and itaewon. Also a 5 min walk to the market. Overall would stay again.

It was a short trip, but a great spot. Super close to Seoul Station so really central. I had been to this hotel a few times in my past travels to Seoul because the lobby has a really great craft beer bar. Glad to finally have been able to stay there. The staff was friendly and the room had everything we needed. Will definitely look for this hotel should I be in Seoul again.

Convenient Location Near Seoul Station

I stayed here for one night mainly because of its close proximity to Seoul Station, and I’d recommend it for the location alone. It’s ideal if you’re arriving late from Incheon Airport and just need a place to rest before continuing your travels.

The room I booked was small and felt cramped. The bidet wasn’t working initially, but staff were able to fix it promptly. Finding the entrance was also a bit tricky—you have to go through a restaurant to reach the elevators that lead to the reception area.

One great convenience is that you can use the sky bridge from reception to access Seoul Station directly. You can also request a map from the front desk.

For those who enjoy walking or running, Namsan Tower is nearby and offers a good challenge. There’s a scenic running trail around the tower as well, which I discovered by chance while descending.

Overall, I’d recommend this hotel only for short stays, particularly if you value quick access to Seoul Station.

Roughly a 10 minute walk from Seoul Station via walkway above the busy streets. Hotel room is clean and decent and feel its a 3-3.5 hotel. We booked the triple bed room and it was a good sized room where we were able to laid out two full sized luggages, one via the provided luggage rack and another on top of coffee table and two stools and still have plenty of room to move around. Plenty of countertop space to put bags and miscellaneous items. Bathroom is small with limited counter space but not a deal breaker. Recommend to first time visitors to Seoul wanting close access to metro station.

We love staying at Hotel Manu because it’s walking distance from Seoul Station and close to many other stations/markets/tourist attractions/etc. We’ve stayed at this hotel twice within 2 years and have made great memories here with our family. We have even tried the food at Seoulista and got a spa treatment at The Cell this time and it was great! I also want to add that my husband loves staying at this hotel because it has a gym which many hotels in Korea don’t have that is within our budget. The only downside about this hotel is that it doesn’t have a laundry facility but we made do with washing our clothes in the shower or going to the laundromat that’s walking distance from the hotel. Other than that, we will definitely be staying at this hotel again when we visit Korea next time!

Location, location, location. Convenient hotel to Seoul Station- around 0 minute walk (exit near Lotte Mart-Exit 1; facing road/bus stops turn left and walk for about 5 minutes till see outdoor elevator; take to 2nd floor and walk along sky garden towards Namdaemun,arrive at hotel within 3 minutes). Twin bed room was small but sufficient. Strong water pressure; good A/C, nice heated toilet, refrigerator with 2 complimentary bottles of water daily. Hotel nicely stowed our luggage as we arrived before check in; they also held our luggage when we took a 2 night excursion to another city and came back to stay afterwards for another night. Service was fine although could be more welcoming and attentive. No front desk service from 2am-6am. Seoul station houses the Arex train from from the Incheon airport, KTX trains to other cities (e.g. Busan), taxis, etc. Shopping and food also abundant in and around Seoul station. Also very walkable to Myeongdong- about 15 minutes.

Good location in Seoul to access station and access a number of interesting sights. It's easily accessible from Seoul station \"if u know how\", but even with Naver its awkward to get to if you don't have the knowledge. I would recommend the hotel owners to upload a map with directions of how to get there from Seoul station! The room was a bit dated (needs some minor repairs). Otherwise facilities and cleanliness was reasonable. Do note it you are coming from the metro station, there are loads of homeless people in the metro near the exit. Was a bit of a shock but wasn't. particularly unsafe.

We chose this property for its proximity to Seoul Station, so we could take the train to the airport easily. This turned out to be a great idea, as we could actually check in our luggage and go through immigration very smoothly at the station. The area itself is not super charming, but you do have great access to transportation and direct access to the Seoullo overpass. Our room was small but clean, quiet and comfortable, and the staff spoke good English. We had chicken and beer at the restaurant downstairs which was really good. I'd book it again if I'm staying in the same area.

The service was so-so—the staff only handled the basics and didn’t go beyond standard expectations. The location isn’t as convenient as it appears on the map; getting there from Seoul Station involved a long walk with multiple staircases and no escalators. In the end, we had to call a taxi to return to the airport. Also, be aware that early check-in requires an additional fee.
