There was not room at the room. I could open my carry on. I left 5 minutes after check in and they didn’t refund 5 nights, looks clean but I couldn’t stay in a room where is no space to open a carry on neither storage under bed….It was a inaccurate or a bad description at Hotel .com probably I stopped to use the site for booking.

This hotel is excellent for one very important reason, it's super practical. The room is small but clean, bed is kinda uncomfortable but I was jetlagged to hell anyway so sleep was not gonna be great regardless. I had a room on the ground floor, literally just feet from the street, there were some activity in the hallway at night, travelers arriving late it sounded like. I still loved this hotel because if you arrive late in Seoul on a weekend, you're not going to find anything cheaper where you can just walk straight from the airport train to your hotel room. Seoul hotels can get pretty pricey on the weekends, and if you're unfamiliar with the subway system you just want to get a foothold before you start exploring, Hotelette has got you covered, and at super low cost. If you're familiar with Seoul you're probably not reading this anyway.

You get what you pay for I suppose. I only wanted somewhere convenient for one night that was next to Seoul Station.
The young girl on reception has a miserable face once she can tear herself away from looking at her phone. Some other highlights:

The towels in the room were dirty.
There is kettle but no mugs. So bring your own cups I guess?
The room is dirty, sellotape in various places holding bits together.
The ‘shower’ is basically a shower cable above the sink.
The toilet and sink are almost linked as the bathroom is so small.
No fridge.
Stink throughout the hotel.

The bed was horrific! So hard. As a result I slept very poorly. The small room I can manage but a uncomfortable bed that effects sleep is not fun. A simple memory foam mattress cover would solve the issue.

It’s a small unit.

It’s really a small unit. Not very clean. Just so so. One thing I still want to figure out is from the exit 10 to this place, how other people carry their luggage. I couldn’t find anything but 3 stories of stairs. I barely moved my carrier by holding it.

This hotel is located right opposite Seoul train station which makes it perfect for an overnight before an early train or a late arrival into Seoul. However I would suggest you only book this hotel for one night. I stayed 2 nights, the room was compact which was fine for a solo traveller but the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything the people in the other room were doing or talking about.
My room was on the ground floor and the doorbell to the hotel is ringing, the staff are banging around or other guests return to their rooms and make a noise which I could hear.
The bed is so uncomfortable it’s unreal, you can feel every spring in the mattress. Which is funny as the lady who checked me in said ‘Nothing’ is to be placed on the bed other than my body. No cases, bags etc. your shoes have to removed at the front door and placed into lockers. As the floor space in the room is so limited, most of this was taken up with my case which meant I only had the bed to do anything on.
I would only suggest you stay here if you are used to staying in a hostel type hotel. Basic at best but with the benefit of an en-suite.
The best literally touches 3 of the 4 walls in the room.

The room is (as described) very small - about 8 ft x 8ft.
Easy walk to and from the train station. It took me about 15 minutes to get from the hotel to the AREX station. To get across the bus station/street/square, go into the subway and follow signs for Namdaemun Police Station to Exit 9.

Good for the price and location. Good enough for 1 night transit. The direction given by the hotel is confusing.
Please follow my direction to the hotel from Seoul Station:
1. Exit from exit #1 at Seoul Station.
2. Find the subway access.
3. You will need to go through escalator/stairs to get to subway access.
4. Once you are at the subway access, look for exit #10. You might need to turn to the left and then turn right. Please remember that you need to go toward RIGHT direction, NOT left. However, in order to go right, you need to turn around to left first.
5. Exit 10 is Police Station. The hotel is behind the Police Station.
6. Get ready for some stairs at the end of exit 10. No elevator available.

It’s a no frill lodging. The location is within walking distance from Seoul train station but you will need to figure out how to walk as the station is pretty complex to navigate. The hotel is just behind the namdaenum police station which won’t be too hard to spot.

for a start,you have the dates wrong zi s booked in on Friday 23 dec add checked out Monday 16 dec.Their website said they had a cafe It appears to be closed now,There are no facilties for making coffee /tea.One cannot even invite a friend their room although my friend was able to assist me to my room and stay a few minutes in ensure I was ok as I was unwell due to a leg injury.I eventually bought a jug and mug to make myself some tea/coffee

A perfect place for a short stay if you travel by train or plan to spend most of the day outside. The hotel is very close to the Seoul station (KTX connections), there is an elevator and the staff members speak English. Centrally located and steps away from Seoul Station from exit #10. Staff was generally nice. The room was clean and the heated blanket was very nice. It’s a basic room for the right price and great for people who are only looking for a place to sleep. The shower head is attached to a sink faucet; be mindful when showering as to not wet the toilet paper. The single room 501 was small but my luggage was only 21 inch and I was fine with it. It might bother other people. Remember, it’s a basic hotel. I could hear activities in the hallway like when other guests are entering their room. Luckily, my neighbors were quiet. Overall, the room was clean EXCEPT for the toilet seat. It had urine stains. I used the shower head with hot water to clean it. This hotel worked for me as a solo traveler. I would definitely stay again. If you are a picky traveler, this is not a place for you.

I was greeted by a polite man in the front of the hotel and he welcomed me into his office where I checked in. The man then escorted me to my room and informed me where I needed to remove my shoes before entering my room. The room was small but it was clean. I wish it had a small refrigerator. They didn`t have irons to iron my clothes so I had to purchase one from a store across the street.

The day I checked out, I forgot my shoes under the TV furniture. I called them from another city where I was and they kindly held on to my shoes until I picked them up a few days later. I thought that was nice of them.

Overall, the hotel was good for the price. I would stay here again knowing the things that aren`t available such as irons and refrigerators.

Find your way behind the Police station facing the train station, and you will find the hotel. Budget hotel, tiny room, nice little TV, nice small bathroom. The house manager was super friendly and helped carry my luggage in and out the guest house. Its location is quite safe as it's right behind the police office. House managers were sitting in their room till 12. Luckily there was a lift indoor that I didn't have to carry my stuffs with stairs.
The single room is super tiny I got to say. There was no space at all after I unpacked my luggage. Not quite suitable for crazy shoppers. Despite of that, most useful items were provided. Hair dryer, cleansing products, mirror, towels, TV, free Wifi etc. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is within a walking distance from the main station. The staff members can speak English. The room was very small - once I put my bag in, it felt even smaller. There is free WiFi in each room and a toilet doubling as a shower chamber. This place is perfect if you want to stay overnight and board a train the day after.

The staff was super friendly. They gave us directions around the area when we asked for them. The room was teeny tiny - a bed and a bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the heated floors were delightful. We had to take our shoes off before walking down the hallway, but they had shoe lockers for us to keep our shoes safe.

This is in a great location directly across the street from Seoul Station. The manager was very nice. The only downside is that it is by far the smallest room that I have ever stayed in. Barely enough room for my luggage. The price was right for my 8-hour visit though, so I got what I paid for.

You get what you pay for...

So, the listing was cheap and affordable and that's exactly what you'll get. A place to sleep and a place to shower. Not bad if you're traveling on budget and not bad at all if you're just looking for a place to sleep. The only downside of my experience was that there was no air conditioning. There was a unit installed, but it was neither plugged in nor was the remote for the air con available. When i plugged it on, it didn't even turn on... so my guess is that it was intentional that it was off. But you can't complain for a budget hotel... but if I had known that there would be no air conditioning, I would have been more than happy to spend 2x the amount I paid for a little more comfort and a lower room temperature. Good thing I only spent one night there.

Perfect for an overnight connecting trip to Seoul station. Literally right beside the central station of Seoul which connects you to the airport. The room though is very very small and cramped but it's clean. The lady who manages it is extremely friendly and courteous so you'll be disarmed by her charm. If you're looking for luxury and space look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a clean place to crash for a night this is the best place to go.

Hidden gem just seconds from Seoul Station

I opted for Hotelette after reading its great reviews online and hoping to save some money in the shopping paradise that is Seoul. As a light sleeper, I was hesitant when reading how small the rooms were and even more apprehensive when I first arrived and saw that the beds were positioned pretty well right next to the door (near the elevator and hallway). However, my doubts completely faded away after the first night. While the rooms are indeed tiny (10m for a single, 12m for a double), somehow they are nearly perfectly soundproof. I never once heard another guest speak through the walls and slept like a baby. In fact, I even discovered that the hotel's owner was cleaning the room immediately in front of mine one morning upon my door and hadn't even heard her!

The location couldn't be better - you're a one minute walk away from exit 10 of Seoul Station, which is conveniently where the Airport Rail drops you off from Incheon Airport. The owners, a husband and wife duo, are incredibly kind and helpful. The room is equipped with everything you need - a comfortable bed, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, water bottles, adaptor for foreign plugs, etc. This hotel is best suited for solo travellers. Don't bring more than a carry on sized suitcase with you, or you'll feel cramped in the room. Otherwise, I am 5'11 and felt fine. Stay here! Hotelette is fantastic!

The hotel is at the a great location near exit 10 of subway station. However, it's a bit of walk from Arex to this exit. The room is just suffice to fulfill the basic need to refresh and rest. No frill accommodation. No coffee making facilities but mineral water is provided. Very clean room.

Nice, tiny room at a good price with friendly staff. It's a little hard to find if you don't know where you are going. If you are in Seoul station, go outside and turn right and go into subway entrance # 14 and exit at #10 and the hotel is right there.

Near KTX, Subway v convenient

The owners will send you a confirmation email with directions after you book. If you are arrving by Arex from Incheon; take 2 escalators up to the KTX station level. Leave by exit 2. Once you are outside, you will notice escalators going downwards to the subway. Take that escalator & look for exit 10. Travel light as there are no escalators going to the street level. Once you are on the street level turn right & go up the slope you will see Hotelette. The room is tiny but I have no complaints as I'm staying over just for a night plus I have paid more for cabin rooms in Japan. Also the room comes with an attached tiny bathroom & I don't have to share it with others. I'm petite so it's ok. My only gripe is that there isn't an electronic kettle avail in the room to boil water. A bottle of mineral water is provided. Shampoo & bath gel also provided. I managed to catch the free shuttle to Namsun cable car right on the Main Street & shopped at the lotte mall & outlet across the street. Great if you are here for a layover & don't need any fancy frills.

Great for a Layover/Bed/Shower

Simple and clean. Good for a one night Layover or a quick stay in between flights.

Small but sufficient for 1 person just on a quick stay.

Service was good and the staff were attentive even though i checked in at 11.30pm.
