One of the Most fabulous hotel stay of our lives. This hotel is like living in a private salon in France. Only bad thing we could find was that you couldn’t get your usual cocktail or drink. They had a weird drink menu & you couldn’t buy a straight up glass of wine or bourbon. But steps outside back door is a 14 story indoor mall w restaurants. You’ll find you can really play in this almost connected building. What a fine.

Brilliantly located hotel, with incredibly luxurious bedrooms. Hugely spacious for Seoul, and fabulously decorated. We took advantage of the boutique lounge happy hour with our room, and the wines and food were delicious. Breakfast was also a real treat. The staff were very kind and helpful with local recommendations. The Korean bbq place they suggested was one of our standout meals. Would highly recommended

The hotel room was more than twice the size of most hotel rooms. The hotel and the room was beautiful. I would love to go back.
Another plus was the staff. The concierge Belle Gal was amazing.
Price, location and service were top notch.

The room was very spacious and the interior is very luxurious. The breakfast was nice and the 'happy hour' was very generous.

However given he cost and star level of the hotel I would expect improved amenities. The towels were a little small and there was only one set of sockets by the bed to charge devices. Despite two TVs in the room there was no English speaking channels or access to apps. Compared to other hotels at this levels it was slightly lacking.

We really enjoyed our stay at L’Escape Hotel. We upgraded our room to a suite which was spacious and
well appointed. The club floor amenities included a buffet breakfast that had a wide array of options to select from.
including both Asian and western inspired choices as well as made to order
dishes. There was also a snack time offering and a happy
hour which included premium beverages and a plentiful
choice of food options. The staff in the club lounge were terrific, always with a smiling face and a warm welcome.
The arranged transportation by the hotel to and from the airport was excellent. We look forward to returning on our next visit.

Gorgeous Hotel. Staff was excellent, and spoke great English. Is it overpriced? Yes. But that’s the idea of 5 star Hotels. Price out the broke folk who minimize the experience for others. I have no desire to go back to Seoul, as it is my opinion that it is the most superficial society on the planet, but if I did, the L’Escape is where I would stay.

Paris meets technology. “Hey, Genie” will open curtains, turn off lights and lots more. I could request extra water (free), towels, vanity kit, sewing kit and more. This hotel features lots of French decorations. Even elevator announcements were in Korean and French. This hotel offered super quiet nights ever. I love the location since it’s near Namdaemoon market 남대문, Myoung dong and unseating all within walking distance. Hotel maybe small but it offered and located in perfect place for my trip. Also staff are friendly and I can just push a bottom for make room. It can’t get any better than that. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to visit myoung dong to stay here.

Huge room with really nice decor. The happy hour and breakfast provided as part of lounge access was excellent, worth the extra cost. Service was great, I asked for iron and ironing board and they were at my door in a couple minutes. The only down side is that they had this huge bath tub but didn’t provide any soup or bath salts. The only soap was mounted to the wall in the shower. The gym was not huge but had enough equipment to get a good workout.

Fantastic hotel! I'ts French rather than Korean themed but the decor is so nice and they have the fancy toilets with the heated seats etc. We had robes, slippers etc. We used the swish cocktail bar but can't comment on the food. The location was a straight, short walk to our tour pick ups near Myeongdong station and close to the street food market. Don't waste your money on transfers, we booked a taxi to the cruise terminal and we had a really posh car for £25, granted traffic wasn't too bad

I gave a 4 for staff as I did not find one of the ladies in the concierge team as helpful and I don’t want to insunuate she does that because we were blacks. I have seen her smilie and chatty with two ladies from the united state but whenever she is on the stand and myself or my friends go to her she sounds cold and impatient that she one time called a cab to take us to a wrong place due to not patiently listening to what we wanted to ask.
It’s a beautiful hotel, good location to luxury shopping and traditional markets. I would stay again if I ever visit Seoul

Wonderful hotel. Beautifully decorated, immaculate, quiet — everything I wanted. The only small niggle was the room lighting, while perfectly suited to the hotel’s rich and atmospheric style, was a little dim when I wanted brighter light.
The location is superb, with metro and bus stops just a couple of minutes away, and Myeongdong shopping even closer.

2nd time staying at this property. Love the breakfasts here.
However the cleaning staff needs to be more cautious about # of towels required in the room. The genie system was also difficult to use — nothing worked apart from the curtains. Shower room also leaked easily.

Would also be better if it could be possible to switch off one side of the bedside lamps rather than always have both on / off simultaneously.

In room experience was poor, our fridge in the room was broken and the in room bar was also removed before hand, there was plenty of stains on the furnitures and the daily cleaning simply didn’t clean the bathroom properly,
Also there not much view and you have to close the blinds if you need privacy, there is a very close building to the hotel and mostly you have visitors everyday

I want to give special praise to staff member George. He was incredibly welcoming, polite, and informative. Being bilingual, he helped me and my daughter communicate with ease, which made a real difference to our stay. His warm manner, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills made us feel comfortable straight away especially as this was our first time travelling to Korea.

The overall experience at the hotel has been exceptional. I particularly recommend the in-room dining for lunch it was a highlight. The ambience and décor of L’Escape Hotel are stunning, with a dark, “Interview with the Vampire” French elegance. You can really sense the thought and consideration that has gone into creating an authentic experience for guests it never feels automated or generic.

Having stayed in other five-star hotels in South Korea, I’ve often found the rooms to feel very “cut and paste.” L’Escape Hotel, however, truly transports you into another world. I absolutely loved my stay and will be returning soon. Xxx

Everything was very good with his hotel but when I asked to take some fruit to the room I cannot do so because it was against the rules. This just put me off a five star hotel that you cannot take out some fruit from breakfast therefore spoiling most of the day for me sounds a bit petty but a nice place is expensive. Should not have a problem with taking some fruit.

Overall an incredible experience at a gorgeous hotel. Upon arrival we were immediately made to feel welcome. We were offered a room upgrade which was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and a cool, quiet refuge from the hot and bustling city. The customer service was one point (shout out to Lucas who helped us get dinner reservations). This was the ugliest and most pretentious (for no reason) hotel I have ever stayed in and we have traveled all over the world. The dark red rooms and hallways were depressing. The funky keys to the rooms were silly and difficult to cart around. The hotel signature sent was terrible and headache inducing. We stayed only one night and even having to pay for 2 nights it was worth it to move hotels.

The breakfast was a great way to start each day and we also used room service a few times and that was excellent. I do wish they had a better laundry service, it made our long visit more difficult. Really novel property with a strong French theme. It’s a lovely place to stay and the staff is incredible but if old-world French decor is not for you, this may not be a good fit. The club level rooms are a must as you’ll have breakfast and a donut happy hour (more than enough for dinner) included in your stay. Highly recommend!
