Upon arrival, the check-in process was extremely frustrating. Only one elevator was operational in what appeared to be a very busy hotel. There were approximately 14 people waiting for the elevator for over 15 minutes, with additional groups waiting on nearly every floor. Because of this, our group of four was forced to carry our luggage up four flights of stairs just to reach check-in.
Once we finally got settled, the air conditioning throughout the hotel seemed inconsistent and unreliable. To make matters worse, the shower in one of our rooms did not work at all just Drips no matter what we did, When we brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, the response from the staff member was rude and dismissive. We were told, “Well, you must not know how to use a handicap shower,” rather than receiving assistance or a proper explanation. No effort was made to resolve the issue, and we were simply handed a card and told to contact management because they were not onsite.
Throughout our stay, many areas of the hotel appeared to need repairs or maintenance, and the front desk staff repeatedly blamed the issues on the “new management team.” Most disappointing of all was the complete lack of concern, professionalism, or apology for the inconvenience we experienced.
