In 208 and on one side had couple arguing loudly after midnight then couple having sex loudly above us till 1:30am. Walls seemed thin.

Breakfast was great. Room was a suite and great if needed to cook.

The property was well maintained and clean. The was a good variety for the breakfast buffett. It’s in a good location with several restaurants and shopping within a few minutes. Had a couple of issues. We requested a crib as we were traveling with a 9 month old. When it finally got delivered it was just the crib itself, when went to inquire about the mattress they offered a small stack of blankets as a substitute. We experienced a tornado watch, in which the staff had no idea if there was a shelter or a plan in place if the need arose. A cautionary warning, the bathtubs had no texture or bath mats, causing the tub to be slippery. Thus resulting in someone in our party to slip and get a concussion. And when notified the front desk staff, they made no attempt to inquiry as to the well being of the individual.

Reserved a 2 bedroom suite. When I arrived they said the people that had stayed in it had extended their stay. Not sure how that can happen when I specifically reserved that room. No one noticed me of any changes. They did give me 2 separate rooms to make up for it but then my family was separated. Not very impressed, and there was splatter of something on the walls, the bedding was ripped. Won’t be staying at this particular hotel again. Which is a shame because we love Staybridge Suites.

We are non-smokers. So when our room was suddenly inundated with stench, our eyes and throats were burning. We should have requested a change of room, but it was very late. We could also smell whatever our “neighbors” were cooking. YUK. We will not be staying at Staybridge again.
Our room was clean, but had significant wear and tear. Needs an upgrade. For such a beautiful facade, it’s unfortunate when repairs aren’t made with care.
The shower head needs changed. The tub had rust stains on it. Nothing major, but sure wish maintenance cared more.

Most of the staff we encountered, in halls or at breakfast could not speak English. The lady at the front desk was only one who could understand English.

My room heater fan would not shut off. I had to ask maintenance to come fix it. My built in microwave didn't work so they had a counter top microwave in the kitchen. There was silverware but no frying pans to cook with. I had to buy my own frying pan and was going to tale it with me when I left and I forgot to take it.

The check in staff was rude. I had to wait a week to get my deposit back. My family got together rented 3 rooms so we could hang out together and utilize their pool. Front desk clerk started saying well we can’t have you coming and going. She acted like we were a burden for her property for a weekend stay. What a waste we were on edge worried about making a mistake and getting our deposits taken even though the furniture is stained closet doors broken and a dirty cloudy pool. What a horrible experience. Shame on the lady that checked us in and shame on the management.

If I had to offer improvements it would be to update the coffee pot in the room… it worked but it was old and missing the top to the carafe. Also the closet was missing a door. The tv didn’t have any channel information in the guide nor in the room. So we shut it off!
The indoor pool was clean and warm!! And every staff member we encountered was cheerful and friendly!

Robert was at the front desk when we checked in. We were very impressed with his helpful, friendly, and kind personality. He was very observant, and answered all our questions. He made us feel very comfortable right off the bat. First impressions can make a lifelong relationship with the consumer and the business. He did that very well, deserves recognition for his quality customer service.
The bed was comfortable.
The room was very cozy. It was spacious. The sound in the room did not carry out to the point that the next room could hear my TV, my music, or my conversation. That's huge! Thank you for that.
The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, a full size refrigerator. All the things that could help the consumer save money while out of town or on vacation. Most of the population in the United States is struggling financially and this is another plus to staying at Staybridge suites by IHG.
The pool was heated to the perfect temperature that I actually stayed in the pool for almost an hour. This makes it more enjoyable for an adult who may not be comfortable using the pool due to physical ailments (ex. arthritis).
The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful.

In general you can see corners and certain areas of the hotel need cleaning. For the money I probably will not stay here again until some improvements are made.

The room was dirty. I had to wipe down surfaces myself. I had to request a vacuum and vacuumed myself since there was food and dirt on the floor from the previous guests behind the bathroom door had clumps of what looked like dry boogers on the wall.

The pool was freezing. Even the pool room was cold. At around 8:30 PM, a gaggle of teenagers, entered the pool without key cards.

The breakfast was fine and the staff was friendly

No safety strips in shower and no bath mat created super slippery shower leading to a significant flip and fall out of the shower causing back and head pain. The response of the front desk clerk when I informed her of the situation was that the hotel wasn't liable, not the concern of my well- being. At checkout I asked manager if the rooms had shower mats. He initially responded with \"No they were out\" that turned into \"not in all of the rooms\" until another employee told him they only provide them if requested by the guest. I've never been in a hotel that doesn't include these safety features to prevent this situation. How was I to know to ask for a shower mat until I got into the shower and felt how slippery it was and by then it was too late.

From the first interaction with the front desk staff, it was all downhill. When we arrived, they charged us an additional night on top of what we paid through Hotels.com. The front desk staff initially requested a credit card for a security deposit which is customary. Then, she informed us that she may have charged us for the room as well and we should go online to check our CC in case we need to request a refund. Then, she sent us to a room with 4 dirty mattresses propped up against the wall, several empty and partially empty water bottles littering the floor, and the stench of cat urine permeating the space. It was so alarming that we weren't even able to take a picture of the unbelievable scene. We went back to the front desk to notify her and get keys for the room we selected through Hotels.com. She did not look surprised at all about the scene in the room we described, and instead just stated she didn't know what was going on there. We took our keys and went to the new room. Only 1 of the 3 keys functioned. We opened the door and saw there was only 1 bed for 4 of us. We returned to the front desk. She gave us the keys to a third room and again, only 1 of the 3 keys was able to unlock the door. The TV in the room did not connect to the cable, so it only turned on and showed a message of, \"No Signal\". There were 2 towels and 1 wash cloth for a 2 bedroom suite. There was red gunk crusted onto the shower corners and significant stains on the bath mat hanging over the ledge.

I will Say that there was a swim meet going on and that group stayed at the hotel and there was absolutely no supervision on the kids. Not the kids fault at all but the parents did not supervise. I felt terrible for the staff to have to deal with the chaos that went on.

ND Game Weekend - Bummer

We spent a substantial nightly rate for 2 nights, and were very disappointed by the lack of service and responsiveness. They refused to give us extra towels when requested. They committed a rollaway bed but then told us it was not available. The room had a musty smell. Further, the gentleman at the front desk was rude to my wife. Just not a pleasant environment, especially considering the huge premium we paid for game weekend.

I love staying at this hotel but so far every time ive stayed the deposit goes up!!!!! This time i was told the deposit was 250.00!!!!! The time before that it was only 10.00 and the other time it was 100.00!!!! Thats the only problem i have with this hotel! 250.00 for a deposit is RIDICULOUS! I TOLD HER I ONLY HAD A 150.00 SO SHE TOOK THAT BUT THATS CRAZY

The hotel is large and there are various amenities which we appreciated! The hotel is dated and it seems like they are trying to save money by being stingy with items. For instance, we only had two towels for our room that could accommodate four people, we had one spoon and one fork. There was no bedding for the pull out sofa until we asked and then we had to go and wait for the front desk to find some for us. A portion of molding just dropped off the bottom of the counter during our stay and there was a weird stain or growth in the bathtub that was gross. There was also no sponge to wash our one dish with although there was dishwashing liquid. Other than the weird spot in the tub the room was clean and comfortable.

Loved how spacious the room was. The pool was nice but it was not easy getting in and out. I had to swipe my card multiple times and the doors to get outside were not working. You had to place a rock in the doorway to enter back in. The staff was very nice and there was quite a variety for breakfast. Other than the pool issues, it was very nice!

We kind of stumbled upon this hotel, just needing a place to stay for two nights while in town to pick up our RV from service. B
We were pleasantly surprised to find it was onee of the greatest hotels we've ever been to for the price. We've stayed in \"luxury\" conference hotels that werent nearly as nice or nearly as big of a room. Then, we found they had complimentary evening social snacks and drinks! Lastly, the breakfast was well above average for a hotel. To top it all off, the staff was friendly and attentive. You cant ask for more from this place.

Really liked position of heating/AC system. It blows across the room beyond the foot end of the bed instead of accross the hed ir over your head. Light switches have mini lights in them; if you have to get out of bed at night you can see. Very clean, nice area to sit outside. Breakfast/dinner offerings good, not great. You can have a beer or glass of wine. Good kitchen area. Definetely worth the money. Friendly, informative staff.

We have stayed her twice and both times have been great. Our last stay we had a bit of parking issues because they were replacing the parking lot. Nothing too bad just a little inconvenient when we were coming back late in the evening.

Other than that everything was great. Our room was clean, breakfast was hot and yummy and the staff was polite and friendly.

We will be staying here again when ever we return to Elkhart.

I am SUPER disappointed and believe this hotel is not worth the cost. This hotel was not as up to the standards they described and it was so bad, I will also be writing to Staybridge Suites Corporate to report this owner.

This Staybridge Hotel had so many issues.
#1-The king bedroom main room and bathroom light switches didn’t work.
#2-The thermometer could not be changed and stayed at 67 degrees our entire stay (which was only two days as we left due to the poor condition of the room).
#3-There were very ‘out of place’ hangers in the wall that looked like they could have had cameras in them. We placed towels over those hangers. I have pictures management of the hotel and they never responded to my concerns. I never even got a sorry for any of the issues.
#4-The roof had a leak and had not been repaired. The painting on the walls was coming off. I have pictures.
#5-We expected a happy hour setup with light snacks as we usually have seen at other Staybridge Hotels we have stayed at and this Staybridge said they only do that on Monday night -Wednesdays. Very disappointed.
#6-The rooms were loud. We heard the air conditioner pop all night on and off (probably something to do with the thermometer not working if I had to guess) and we heard cars outside all night as well.
#7-No privacy between room as they removed the insulation to save money. Horrible!
Overall, I horrible hotel and I will never, ever stay or recommend to anyone to stay here again!
