One of our best stays in Italy so far! Super easy to get to from the airport, just pick up your rental car and go. We arrived after the sun had set, even in the dark it was easy to find. Absolutely lovely, just like the pictures! I will say of all the places we have been in Italy, this was the most authentic and real Italian stay. We have been to the Dolomites, Venice, Florence and Rome-they all felt very tourist. This was Italy-exactly what you want to experience. You HAVE to enjoy the restaurant-dinner and breakfast! The only time on our trips we have had real home made pasta-the juice at breakfast was the best and their eggs so fresh! Rooms are old and absolutely beautiful! The whole stay was the perfect start to our trip! You would be lucky to stay here!

I rented this accommodation for my family as we travel. I assumed That it will look as pictured. No. It was nothing as pictured. I thought our room was going to be as pretty as the picture with windows and outdoor access from the room as pictured. No, we were taken up to a dark room. There, the dirtiest bathroom. The blanket on top of Theo bed was dirty . And one towel! They brought another towel the next day. I wish they reminded us of breakfast, but, they just reminded us of dinner. It’s $25 per person unless you ask for alla cart and the pasta was good. The three course meal is not. The chicken was so dry, and tastelessness.
Any way, so far it’s the worse stay on our Italy trip.
My biggest complaint is that it looks nothing like the picture.

Family run rustic home, great value, good food.

While the room was basic and the bathroom needs some updates overall this was a very enjoyable stay. The family that runs the farm house like facility take pride in their work and especially the evening meal on the terrace which was visited by many locals while we were there. The fixed menu was 4 courses of home made food that was very enjoyable and great value for money. We felt like part of the family while still having our own private table with a view over the landscape. Felt very remote but parking available on site.

We loved staying in this quiet space with great pressure and hot water in the shower. The food in the restaurant each evening we ate there was fantastic. The staff and owners were so pleasant and accommodating. Many of them spoke English..

Quaint place, a little rough around the edges

They were okay with us checking in late. The GPS didn’t take us right there, so be careful to keep your eyes peeled for the property. It was a little hectic to check in because there was a large party at the restaurant. The room was pretty decent. Overall, it served its purpose. The room was hot, but there was a fan. Once the fan was propped on some towels, it stopped smacking the floor. Check out started at 8 (couldn’t leave before then). With that being said, the owner was very sweet and accommodating and the food in the restaurant smelled delicious.

A spartan lodging for rugged travelers. The location is on the top a hill in the countryside, some 20 min away by car from Orvieto. The amenities are basic and with a makeshift feeling, but the nights are quiet for a refreshing sleep.

A real taste of Italy!

We stayed here on our way from Rome to Arezzo. It is an authentic place - perfect for a real taste of Italy. The supper was a delicious and filling 4 courses served with wine they produce on site. We had a family room with a double bed and bunk beds, it was basic but perfect for 1 night.

Avoid it - Mosquito bites & breakfast was the joke

Not happy with my stay, the location was amazing - lovely scenery but the room was not comfortable, in fact spoiled the whole trip. No exhaust system in the room, no air conditioning and the mosquitos kept us awake all night even came back with serious mosquito bites. The breakfast was a serious joke and the dinner provided wasn't as per the order and it was seriously over priced. I regret going there, angry actually.

Great food, friendly family, beautiful setting

The family was very welcoming and helpful. Their restaurant is excellent. The area is lovely. The room was comfortable, although there were a couple of small maintenance issues. Wifi was only in the restaurant, and was pretty slow. They accommodated our last-minute change of room (due to our needing to be on the ground-floor).

La struttura non è male, si mangia anche bene, ma la pulizia delle camere lascia desiderare, avevo insetti morti dentro l’armadio e quelli vivi che passeggiavano sulle mie scarpe. Mi dispiace perché il personale è gentile e il posto è carino ma fosse il mio mi concentrerei molto sulla pulizia.

A very unique house in the rural tranquil environm

I love to stay in this house. It is located at the hill top surrounded by trees and rural areas. I like they have a restaurant so i took half board at the house. I enjoyed the tranquil environment and the food. I must come back again. Thank you all the staff.

Un ottimo B&B all'antica

Struttura tradizionale per il luogo (casale in pietra) con ristorante.

Personale alla mano e simpatico, la nostra stanza era accessibile tramite una scala abbastanza erta e senza ascensore, ma credo abbiano anche camere al piano terra per chi avesse problemi.

Il letto avrebbe potuto essere più comodo, ma la stanza era bella e larga anche per 4 persone. Bagno buono.
Al ristorante, una delle migliori ariste al forno che abbia mai provato, buono il vino autoprodotto. Peccato non aver potuto provare al pizza alla brace.

La mattina la colazione con scelta limitata, ma ottima: ciambellone, torta di mele e crostate, tutto fatto in proprio con marmellate credo autoprodotte.

Una buona esperienza, dovesse servirmi di nuovo di fermarmi in zona, non esiterei a tornare.

La llegada, a las 17,00 mala. No había nadie, solo una persona al teléfono que nos condujo a la habitación que no estaba mal.

Amazing surroundings

Amazing surroundings, nice room, very clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant at the place at the evening and it was a very nice experience, with tasty local food and good vine. There was lots of different variations of cake that tasted good. We brought our dog and there was no problem about that, it was very welcome and there was no extra fees for bringing it.

The breakfast was maybe traditional for Italiens but as a foreigner we could have used some variations of bread and some good cheese. There was lots of different variations of cake that tasted good. We brought our dog and there was no problem about that, it was very welcome and there was no extra fees for bringing it.

Il luogo è grazioso, compdo al parcheggio e distante una ventina di minuti da orvieto, sulle colline.
Il personale gentile e la colazione ottima, purtroppo ci sono cani di grandi dimensioni in branco liberi che stanziano davanti alla porta delle canere che sono a piano terra. I gestori non ne danno garanzia.
Per questo non è indicato per chi ha paura dei cani o ha un cane come noi, che abbiam dovuto organizzarci per entrare e uacire da stanza e macchina senza far scattate incontri.
Nonostante abbiamo segnalato la cosa ci è stato risposto che sono di un vicino e non ci possono fare niente ( anche se sono in proprietà privata)

Il bagno era piuttosto vecchio, la doccia aveva l’acqua soltanto tiepida. All’arrivo non si capisce da dove entrare, non c’è un punto indicato per il check in, si entra nella sala ristorante per cercare qualcuno che ti accompagni. Poca organizzazione. Wi-Fi presente, ma non funzionante. Camera non troppo calda. Cena abbastanza buona, tranne la braciola che era piuttosto secca e asciutta. Ottima colazione.

Il bagno è un po' spartano e vecchio, il condizionatore è di quelli mobili e di notte fa rumore. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e la cucina era ottima.
